We recently spent a night at hotel, in our first room the AC was making a loud sound. They moved us immediately but unfortunately you could not pick up the WiFi inside our room, you had to go into the hall. I needed a small amount of ice to keep medicine cool and was charged 15 pesos each time. The pool the first night was unusable as a large group had taken it over and it was chaos.The staff were excellant. Location is ok,Decor is nice and place was clean .

This was a good hotel close to the big grocery store super Che. Nice rooms, good ac, pool looked fine but spent most days at the beach and never got in it. I usually stay at Hotel VB next door but considering this was almost $ 35.00 per night less expensive I feel it was a great value.

simple place to crash for a night in comfort. Good location, rooms are climate controlled. Staff should clamp down on people making loud noise in the pool at late hours... But on the 3rd floor with the fan and AC going it wasn't really an issue for me.

Hotel Alikar is in a prime central location. It is well maintained and you’re only minutes from anywhere either by Taxi or walking. The Staff is very nice and friendly and very accommodating. There are plenty of breakfast options around the area to choose from and try however there
Restaurant is also perfect with a lot of good menu choices and the food is made fresh. The Pool is also very clean and refreshing. They have 4 stars under their name in the lobby and I would say the Alikar is a solid 4 out of 5 Star hotel in Haultulco, Mexico.

Good for what a short stay
We stayed for 10 days. It was relatively good. The wifi is good and the hot water is good. The service was also very good. I don't think it's a 4 star hotel like some sites indicate. It's more like a 3 star, but was comfortable.

We've stayed at this hotel several times in the past. This time however was a mess. We know that we stayed around the holidays, but during our 4 nights here we barely slept.
People were around the pool partying and screaming until midnight each night. I believe they had some tour buses that would arrive around 7 pm each night and the people would get off and begin to party. We felt uncomfortable with the number of people around the pool during covid times as well with numbers reaching 30 or more people. Also the way the hotel is designed the area around the pool and restaurant tend amplify the noise so each room can really hear all the noise from the courtyard. The hotel management didn't know want or care to tell people to be quiet or enforce a quiet time, so people were loud with no repercussions.

Great location! We wanted to explore the Huatulco bays and surrounding areas (and did not want to pay for an all-inclusive this time) and this hotel was a great option. They have a restaurant on-site where we would eat breakfast and then head out in the mornings. It was nice coming to a clean, safe, family-friendly hotel every night. One thing they can work on is on their customer service and efficiency at the restaurant.

Is a small hotel catering mostly families and locals. They have a very good breakfast buffet with many options at an excellent price. The instalations are kept clean but it could use a bit of a retouch. Staff is pleasant and helpful. There is a big store next to the hotel and delicious food street.

The hotel is within walking distance from local supermarket that offers everything you can think of. This hotel is located in front of a mayor street intersection The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. It does not count with an elevator. If you are traveling with children or elderly adults it's something to consider. The breakfast buffet was 100.00 pesos with a variety of continental items and traditional Mexican food. This hotel is relatively close to the beach, but you have to pay a taxi to take you depending on which beach you go to it's about 30 to 70 pesos.

Good service but really hard beds
I travelled there during rainy season (June - August), and with the rain, it was a little messy around the property. The restaurant serves a really good margarita and it costs just $3! But the beds in the room were very uncomfortable - very hard. The air conditioning worked well in the rooms. This is not a great location. You need a taxi to get to everywhere. (The center - quaint shops and restaurants, or the beach). Taxis were affordable - pretty much $2 to $3 per ride. But don't fall for the airport scam! They'll charge you 450 pesos to go to the hotel. Pick your own taxi (don't go to the stand) and they'll charge you around 170 to 200 pesos to get to the hotel, and will arrange to be there to pick you up and take you back!

Although we were the only Canadians there, we had a great experience. The staff could not do enough for us. Maids towel creations were wonderful. The pool was clean with lots of lounge chairs available. The chicken cordon blue on the restaurant menu was the best that I have had, it was amazing. The only downside was we did not have hot water for showers for the full 4 days. However, the water was not icy cold so the cool showers were kind of refreshing.

Afuera de nuestra habitación había un registros destapado y así estuvo todo el tiempo de nuestra estancia, para mí si significó un riesgo ya que iba con dos niños, cada que salían o entraban a la habitación me generaba angustia de que pudieran caerse adentro del registro o no se si sea una cisterna.
En la alberca siento que les falta revisar detalles como que había una toalla húmeda en la parte de las rocas que estuvo al menos 3 días y una toalla húmeda desechable dos días, quizás son pequeños detalles, pero les resta puntos definitivamente.

Hotel en muy buena ubicación, cerca de la Marina para tomar los tours y del centro, se podía llegar hasta caminando, también se encuentra cerca la incondicional muy buena mezcalera. El personal muy amable, nos hicieron favor de realizar check in unas horas antes porque nuestro vuelo que llegó temprano. El personal también te ofrece los tours al mismo precio que la marina. El servicio de restaurante es bueno y a buen precio. Un plus es que tiene sky tv. Lo recomiendo.
