The hotel has 2 beaches but only one is swimmable. That beach has a lot of rock in the water so the swimming area is very small. Restaurant was so busy on gala night we couldn’t find a table and they ran out of plates and cutlery, I ate my dinner with a dessert spoon. They ran out of wine every single night and the drinks were very watered down.

It is important to know before coming here that the hotel is very run down and dirty! The owners are obviously not putting any money into maintaining the pool or furniture but mostly it just wasn't clean! I can overlook old but cleanliness is important!
The food is bad, drinks were pretty awful and the service just wasn't there. Order a drink by the pool and sometimes it would take a half hour or more. Very little English spoken if any so good luck calling down to the front desk for anything. We also learned that there is a water treatment facility next door so the sewage smell was more than obnoxious! Would literally make me gag sometimes.
The ocean views were spectacular but the water was dirty and saw toilet paper and garbage floating around when we went snorkeling. Ugh 😩 Wouldn't go back.

I absolutely LOVED this place. One of my favourite aspects was the staff. Martine, Mario, SOBRINO and others I have probably forgotten! The manager Juan was also fantastic. They were all so kind and attentive and their work ethic was amazing. I came from Canada just by myself but met other Canadians and my friend from Mexico City visited as well. We all had such an amazing time. I have been to Mexico FIVE times and the service at this place was by far the best. The food and drinks were good and I also loved the beaches and the beautiful scenery. I definitely would go back there!!! Thank you to the wonderful staff!!

Buyer be aware! Originally I booked a 14 night stay here; however, I got ill at the beginning with a cold and was treated terribly by staff, even called offensive names in Spanish, which I can speak. It was impossible to talk to a manager, get assistance or even clean water. All food was down a long, steep ramp which is fine if you are mobile. I was unable to access food or water for 24 hours and ended up checking out 10 days early and staying at another hotel in Santa Cruz where I had been before. The views and beach are amazing but the water is not for swimming. Beach and pool chairs are in poor repair and the towels provided are inadequate especially for the temperature and humidity. Staff generally ignored me in the dining room. Folks with mobility issues or poor health would be unable to navigate this property and even if you could get a shuttle, the pool and bathrooms are accessible only by stairs. I did not get any of my money back despite myself and Expedia trying to contact the property to explain and formally request it.

The beach was beautiful, the room was very nice

Food was well below average, no taste, no quality of ingredients. Bartenders unable to make a decent drink. Cheap beer warm and cooled with ice so not a plesent drink at all. Cocktails were basically ice in a blender.

It is a long walk from the rooms and into the restaurant/pool area with an uphill challenge on the way back

The hotel is advertised as Free WiFi - upon check in reception staff informed the rooms are largely not wifi enabled - we were unable to get a WiFi signal anywhere at the hotel so if you plan/need to do some work, forget about this place

They are happy to charge a full price for day 1 even when you arrive at 22:00 and all services are closed but on last day, despite my package return flight for 19:05 we had to check out, brazalete removed and no possibility of food or drink after 11:00 check out

I will not come back to this hotel and would not recommend. I have been to far better places for the same price.

This is an absolutely lovely property with the sweetest staff. Everyone is incredible welcoming and kind. Both beaches are stunning and very quiet, awesome for looking at seashells and body surfing. We had an amazing time and felt extremely safe, but I truly cannot stress enough that it is the staff who make this resort truly remarkable. As well as the beautiful nature and delicious food!! Absolutely amazing time here, thank you to everyone.

I was expecting something much better for the price we paid. I had traveled to a lesser priced resorts with much better options. First the lobby area is really something out of normal a 10'X6' area on the outside really? Room for the most part was clean the service people really do a good job. No wifi in my case I need to do some work on my computer, and I have to connect through my iPhone hot spot. cell service was also poor cell tower too far. there is only one restaurant for the whole resort or Hotel however you want to call. 1 bar on the top area of the pool that opens in the afternoon. Food was okay. Except you have walk almost 1/2 of mile through up and down bridges in order to get to the pool and restaurant. there was a small refrigerator with 2 seven up cans for the whole time you are there if you drink them in the first day that is it you will have to buy your own after that, they never refill the little fridge. If you want a bottle of water, you have to pay for and was very hard to find one. I was very discouraging and disappointed of the whole package. Huatulco was very nice to visit planning on comeback except to a different hotel.

The property is beautiful, offering stunning views and a clean, well-maintained resort. A standout feature is the private beach, which we thoroughly enjoyed, and the staff were generally friendly and attentive.

That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The distance between the rooms and key areas like the dining area, pool, and beach can be a bit inconvenient, as it involves quite a long walk. Additionally, there is significant construction happening around the property, which detracts slightly from the overall experience.

One concern was the towel inspection process. The staff thoroughly inspect returned towels for stains or damage and make it clear there are charges for anything that doesn't meet their standards. Unfortunately, the towels themselves are visibly worn, which adds to the frustration. We even had an issue where a towel we hadn’t used was stained, and it became a bigger deal than it should have been. Because of this, we chose not to use the hotel-provided towels for the pool or beach.

Lastly, there were some temporary water issues in a few rooms, but the staff worked quickly to resolve them, which we appreciated.

Overall, it’s a lovely resort with beautiful scenery, but some operational policies and logistical challenges affected our experience. With a few adjustments, this could be an even more enjoyable place to stay.

Coral Blue is a pretty nice hotel, average in my opinion, with some need to upgrade and improved maintenance. The room was clean and modern, AC and ceiling fan help at night. The food is average, but not bad. No other dining option from the daily buffet, unfortunately, and no restaurants nearby. Good selection of entrees, but not very imaginative, and pretty bland. Staff is awesome, very friendly and helpful, some speak a bit of English but all are eager to assist you and are patient if you can't quite make yourself understood. At Christmas this hotel is frequented mostly by Mexican families so it really felt like we were \"in the thick of it\". Very enjoyable. Great snorkeling on two private beaches, but watch for the tide and surge. Safe for kids near shore, excellent for confident swimmers a bit farther out. Bring lots of Pesos in smaller denominations as tips are not included. I had to go to town to find an ATM three times. Coral Blue is in the Huatulco National Park, and unless you have a car, you can't really get anywhere unless you call a taxi. They are cheap and quick though. On the property there is little else to do except lounging at the pool or beach, snorkeling and taking one of the three little kayaks for a spin around the bay. The home-made ping-pong table is okay if you are bored, and the pool table is challenging because it is lop-sided and broken in the middle. They have a spa but we did not try it.

Food got the family sick, and they gave me 2 medicine pill that they charge me $2 per pill. pool area smells like poop cause they have the drain to the toilets next to it. One of the front desk ladies was always with bad attitude. There’s no lobby, it’s outside in the hot weather. We had to deal with a broken shower head that never got fixed.

The ladies and gentlemen serving breakfast, lunch and dinner were fabulous. The downside is the distance to the dining area and pool. There is no WIFI in the rooms. The only place that had WIFI is in the dining area, which would stop working every 5 minutes. If you want a quiet place where electronic are useless and the views, beach and pool is great, go here.

The rooms need better maintenance. Shower heads spray all over the place, or have very low flow.
The mattress was broken and sunken on the side you get in bed! 15 inches of useless area to sleep.

The pool is kept cold even with 90 degrees outside

The property is beautiful. Only downside is having to take a taxi everywhere and the long walk down to the pool, dining and beaches. The wifi is also a little spotty in the rooms.

Some people wanted to charge me more money than the orginal price for the All inclusive service for example the price to get the All inclusive service was around 1100 MX and the personal in the lobby that attended me, said 2000 MX, with the extra person service was the same they tried to charge me more money, but in this case, a young guy in the night shift in the lobby, gave me the right price, 320 MX per night. I just didn't like this, it's to expensive for the poor Service and room conditions. Great job from Pedro the waiter five stars for him.

Besides the property is almost new and the service is very good, the employees are way too kind there is a need to improve restaurant services, variety and peices.

There is no way to charge $150 MXP for an order of french fries while a Club a sandwich costs the same. No relationship. No logic.

For breakfast there is no option rather than to take the buffet. Sometimes you don't want to take it since you just want to have a coffee and toast.

Some other details such as lights (too white during the night at the restaurant). Need to build a better experience.

Again, the property is amazing, the beach and the pool side are very cool and functional. The service and the employees are great.

Need to pay attention to details in terms of the experience, the food is very limited and the prices doesn't make sense.

Will recommend it and definitely will come back with my kids.

The resort was super clean & the staff were SO friendly. The beaches were beautiful & secluded & that was our favourite part. But unfortunately there was no ambiance & zero entertainment. The only restaurant was a decent walk away & hiking back up that enormous hill was exhausting (but they will call a shuttle for u if ask them to). The menu was a bit lacklustre though & we took a taxi downtown 9/10 nights (about a 10 min drive). While there was some construction going on next door, the noise was minimal & it didn’t affect our visit.

My mother is in a wheelchair and the hotel has zero accessibility. There’s no ramps or grab bars. We were told hotel was closed up until 3 months before our stay so the facility was lacking. They are doing construction so super noisy. We found a wood spider in the hallway about 6” wide maybe it was a tarantula I don’t know but the hotel staff took 3 days to get rid of it. We also found a huge scorpion which the staff collected in a glass cup. The day after they showed it to me still in cup. For mine and my moms safety I wouldn’t stay here again.

Instalaciones:
En general, las instalaciones se mantienen limpias en todo momento, lo cual es un punto muy positivo. La habitación es cómoda, con aire acondicionado funcionando correctamente y sin ruido externo que afecte el descanso. El baño tiene buena presión de agua.

Sin embargo, el hotel no parece estar bien adaptado para personas con discapacidad. La rampa que conecta hacia la alberca es bastante larga; aunque está techada, el calor se siente y puede ser incómodo tener que subir de regreso si olvidaste algo.

La alberca es pequeña en comparación con otros resorts y no hay una separación estricta entre área de niños y adultos. Además, no ofrecen snacks en la zona de alberca, únicamente bebidas.

Comida y bebidas:
La comida tiene buen sabor y se percibe fresca, pero la variedad es limitada, ya que solo hay un restaurante. Hay lapsos de aproximadamente hora y media entre servicios (desayuno, comida y cena) en los que no hay opciones disponibles, lo cual puede ser inconveniente.

El desayuno inicia relativamente tarde (8:00 am). El buffet está ubicado en la parte baja, por lo que implica caminar por la rampa, lo que puede hacer que uno dude en regresar por algún antojo. Aunque hay noches temáticas, la variedad general sigue siendo algo limitada, aunque el sabor es bueno.

Un punto negativo es que no proporcionan botellas de agua ni en habitaciones ni en el restaurante. En la habitación solo dejan un recipiente d

El hotel asegura tener una experiencia completa en un todo incluido que incluye un estancia, playa, bebidas ilimitadas y comida.

El clima de las habitaciones es insuficiente para el tamaño de los cuartos o bien no funcionaba al 100.

El hotel resort solo cuenta con 1 restaurante su comida es siempre la misma, el sazón es realmente malo y no hay muchas opciones de comida, solo huevo, chilaquiles, hot cakes, además de que los ingredientes que ocupan son de muy baja calidad, la comida es mala. El último día que estuvimos los frijoles se comenzaban a echar a perder y los frieron y quemaron para disminuir ese sabor.

Sus políticas (las respetamos) pero a diferencia de otros hoteles resort, son demasiado restrictivas, te apagan las luces para que te vayas a tu habitación si dejarte estar en el lobby o en la alberca, sin ni siquiera meterte, prohibían las bocinas y estoy de acuerdo en no llevar una bocina grande pero no estaban permitidas ni las bocinas pequeñas.

El bar de la playa tenía restricciones de cócteles, según a las 5 terminaba el servicio y desde las 4 restringían aún más el servicio, y la atención no era buena.

No tiene valet parking, ni botones por lo que tú subes y bajas tus maletas y vas por tu automóvil.

La atención de los meseros es muy buena aunque son insuficientes para la cantidad de gente que había en el hotel. Calidad y precio nada que ver. No volveríamos a ir.

Su playa no es bonita a diferencia de otras de Huatulco que tiene playas hermosas.

En general, la estancia fue buena, La comida y servicio excelente; sinargo, me gustaría compartir algunas observaciones constructivas.

La habitación presentaba ciertos detalles, como el sillón dañado y las cortinas en mal estado, que podrían mejorarse para brindar una experiencia más cómoda.

Asimismo, al salir del elevador, la vista inmediata incluía cubetas, equipo y mobiliario (sillas y sillones) apilados. Entiendo que probablemente se trataba de labores de mantenimiento, pero considero que cuidar estos aspectos visuales puede hacer una gran diferencia en la primera impresión de los huéspedes.

Adicionalmente, durante las mañanas, en el recorrido hacia el comedor por las áreas del ardín, se percibía un olor a drenaje. Posteriormente supe que el agua se reutiliza para riego, lo cual es positivo; sin embargo, en los primeros días, al desconocerlo, el olor resultaba confuso y poco agradable.

Por otro lado, el acceso de las habitaciones al comedor implica un recorrido por un corredor muy bonito, pero con una pendiente considerable. Dado que el desayuno inicia a las 8:00 a.m. y el servicio de safari comienza a las 9:30 a.m., esto implica subir y bajar. En nuestro caso, éramos un grupo de seis personas adultas mayores, por lo que este trayecto resultó un poco complicado.

Finalmente, notamos que no hay baños en el área de alberca; el más cercano se encuentra en el área del comedor, lo que implica bajar aproximadamente 23 escalones. Para personas mayores, como en nuestro caso,

La experiencia en si es muy gratificante ya el la mayoría del persal ofrece una atención excelente, la habitación es espaciosa completa y muy bien adaptanda pero lo único que podríamos poner como mejora en su establecimiento sería el aire acondicionado ya que el clima es muy fuerte y llega a ser un poco sofocante al momento no solo del transcurso del día si no en la noche, fuera de eso todo es perfecto en su mayoría.

Habitación bien equipada y cómoda, el buffet muy rico y variado, nos encantaron las noches temáticas en el restaurante y la excelente atención de todos los meseros, el salvavidas y baristas.
Disfrutamos el kayak y el snorkel en la playa del hotel e incluso pudimos ver ballenas mientras tomábamos el desayuno.
El camino hacia el restaurante y la playa puede ser pesado pero ofrecen traslados en vehículo.
Definitivamente volveremos.

El hotel en general, el personal siempre con la mejor disposición y amabilidad, las instalaciones y la habitación amplia y cómoda desde el balcón tiene la mejor vista para los amaneceres.
En general no me tuve que preocupar por nada, solo descansar .

La limpieza de la habitación se puede mejorar. La atención de algunos de los empleados como por ejemplo la persona que se ocupa de las toallas, algunas de las empleadas de la recepción…. dejan mucho que desear.
Entendemos que es un hotel familiar, en donde se proponen animaciones, pero la noche que pasaron una película en la alberca el volumen fue muy molesto hasta después de las 10pm.
La calidad y estado de los camastros necesitaría una revisión.
En los puntos positivos: la amabilidad del personal del comedor, muy atentos, la calidad de la comida y productos propuestos, la playita privada….

Es un hotel muy lindo,el personal de restaurante bueno lo único malo es que hay que bajar mucho caminando al restaurante y albercas, hay transporte pero no todo el tiempo y es cansado. De ahí en fuera muy recomendable.
Podrían tener carritos o algo que fuera más viable para bajar si hay personas embarazadas o con discapacidad.

El hotel está muy muy lindo, las instalaciones y la habitación que nos tocó estaban en perfecto estado, la comida de todos los días súper deliciosa y con temáticas en la cena, el servicio de los meseros muy amables, así como las personas encargadas del bar, vimos en las reseñas que había quejas por la rampa para bajar de las habitaciones hacia el restaurante y playa pero si no tienes algun problema son 5 minutos de caminata subida o bajada, las 2 playas están súper bonitas pero no son para nadar, solo para meter los pies un rato pero para descansar están muy a gusto, lo único que no nos gustó fue que en el lobby al momento de que haces el check in te piden dejar un “seguro” de $1000 pesos en efectivo, nosotros no estábamos enterados de eso y si nos sacamos de onda ya que no sabíamos de esto, pero fuera de eso el servicio súper bien todas las personas muy amables y accesibles, disfrutamos mucho del hotel y sobre todo de la comida y bebida, muy muy recomendado este hotel, vale completamente la pena si buscas descansar.
