El area de alberca y la playa están muy padres, amplias, limpias agradables.
Las habitaciones amplias, en general comodas. Si ya tienen sus años, pero están en buen estado.
Al personal le falta estar a la altura de la marca Camino Real.
La comida está regular, falta atención de meseros y el ambiente en la cena no es buena y nunca apareció un capitan que pusiera orden.

The grounds are beautiful. Staff were great. We did the all inclusive package and were impressed with the food. Views from the restaurants are perfect. Ocean is a bit rough here, but there are places you can swim. You can climb over the rocks and snorkel just down the beach. Fixtures in the rooms are dated, but bed is super comfy and views are excellent. We would definitely stay at this lovely, quiet hotel again.

The shoreline is not swimmable at all despite what is advertised. Significant currents. Also the room itself was quite run down and not fully equipped with amenities like a blow dryer or ironing board. The most significant issue for us was a lack of towels in the room. No bath mat was provided and we were only equipped with face cloths and one hand towel on about 4 days out of our 7 day stay. Only one bath towel per person was provided. The other issue is that you are provided with limited water bottles-1 small one per person per day and are charged extra if you require more. The beach and grounds are beautiful but overall the hotel toom was run down. Definitely not a 5 star experience. More like 2-3 stars.

Nice property but everything needs fixing. The pool was dirty and the water was very cloudy half the days we were there, problem was eventually fixed. Beach chairs are in rough shape. Constantly had to request towels from house keeping so we could shower. Room service never delivered what we ordered correctly, often without cutlery.
Restaurant service was slow, the à la carte food was very good. The best staff service was on the beach!
The beach is beautiful, just a small area however to walk the beach. This is a beautiful property just needs some attention.

The view was beautiful, there was plenty of seating by the pool and palapas by the beach. The room was cleaned daily. The only problem seemed to be a shortage of towels. The staff were wonderfully pleasant and helpful. (However, the guys selling boat tours on the beach seemed shady and overpriced!)
The food was great at both restaurants. We loved this resort!

The beach was beautiful with lots of chairs. The pool was nice but very shallow. Staff were excellent. This resort has a very very old crowd with no activities at all. No music allowed on the beach or around the pool. The drinks and food are average with very high prices.

We stayed 7 nights in a room facing the pool and the beach. Our stay did not include the all inclusive. This location is about a 10 minute drive from the downtown area, $100 Pesos taxi ride. On the plus side - beautiful location with stunning views and beach. Very quiet and peaceful. No loud music. Common areas well maintained. Never seemed busy. Always able to get lounge chairs both at pool and beach. Front desk service was very good. Litai was very helpful. She took the extra step to got us out of a bind twice. Great AC, beautiful view from room and good TV. We only ate once at the resort at the poolside patio. Meal was excellent. On the opportunity for improvement side - Rooms are very dated. Tiled floors need a deep cleaning. Hot water most of the time. Room cleaning was inconsistent. We only had one lunch meal at the resort because the prices are double anywhere else outside the resort.

Room and beach were fabulous. Huatulco is very clean and quiet. We loved the breakfast buffet and lunch in the beachfront restaurant. Dinner was disappointing on most nights. After the third day of my kids not liking the options they ordered burgers off the menu and it took 45 mins to get them. One day they made me an enchilada right off the grill- the flour tortilla was rock hard. The head chef came out to check on us and said he would remake it himself- then he never returned. Little things that could be improved but we still had a great time and loved the resort and the beach. Would stay again.

The only complaint I have about the room was that there was a lot of small bugs everywhere. They looked like miniature ants but they were not ants.
Other than that, the view from the balcony in room 30 was amazing! The entire room was extra roomy. The pool was large and clean. The staff were friendly, especially at the bar! Lobby staff and bell boys were very attentive. We only ate once at the restaurant inside the hotel and it was good. Location was perfect despite being about a 10-minute drive from the Centro.

This hotel just seems to be crumbling. The owners just seem to be waiting for it to fall apart. This was our second stay there and there was definite deterioration. We had a view room with private pool. It was stark and damp with so much decay I can’t list it all. It was extremely difficult to get towels in the room or at the pool. They were discoloured and frayed. The sheets were worn and rough. The house keeper did her best with what she had to work with. The main pool was FILTHY!! There was only one female toilet open for the massive pool area and beachside restaurant. I wonder where everybody is going??. The service around the pool was overpriced and almost nonexistent. Th food in the restaurant for breakfast was overpriced, cold, and of marginal quality. The hotel looks very pretty from a distance, terraced up the hillside, but that means there are stairs, stairs and more stairs. The valets at the front entrance did a great job of transporting us around via golf cart and looking after our car. This hotel is in need of a serious renovation. We won’t stay here again.

The view from the room was amazing, the grounds and beach were clean and beautiful. The pool bartenders were very friendly and attentive. The adult infinity pool was epic. We had room service once and it was delicious. Club sandwich and Hawaiian pizza. Very good value for the money. We enjoyed eating out at primo's pizza just down the road. The towels were definitely a problem hit or Miss whether you got a bath towel or a hand towel or a face cloth. If you were lucky, same with beach towels sometimes they had them. Sometimes they didn't and the lady at the pool Beach towlr hut was very grumpy I would recommend that you bring your own coffee maker as there is no oy one in the room and the Starbucks doesn't open until 11:00 a.m.

The place is beautful and the staff is wonderful. One of the calmest beaches in Las Bahias.

The reasons I didnt give it 5 stars: drinks are expensive and just \"ok\". Food mediocre and expensive.

Fortunately there are so many great restaurants to enjoy in town. Would make a great weekend getaway but we spent weeks there and it gets tedious leaving for good for every nite.

We could not eat at any of restaurants there without spending nearly a thousand pecos or more for the two of us. We hardly ate there after experiencing how pricey can walk 5 min and spend half the price. The bed was really hard. Room was clean and staff was friendly.

A nice hotel with basically its own beach. We stayed in a beachfront room and we loved the view. Our kids loved the pool and I loved that it wasn't super busy, and you could always find a lounge chair. Our room was clean and comfortable.

The property has real potential but the service could be improved. Only some of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our biggest issue was with towels (and other we talked to said the same). They always seemed to be out, whether it be room towels or pool towels. On our first day we had to wait four hours for a pool towel, and I had to ask multiple times for enough room towels. Also, you get two capsules for coffee in your room and if you want more you have to get room service, or wait until the cafe opens at 9 and bring it back to your room (it should open at 7).

With a bit more focus on service this place could be great. All that being said, I would stay here again.

This resort isnt for everyone. It is small on a hill with alot of stairs. it is set up nicely if you are very mobile. The pool is great for children because its not very deep. The staff is friendly. The housekeeping staff is at a disadvantage because they are not provided with enough towels to leave sufficient towels for the guests, But mot their fault its the management. The food here is expensive and not too good, but you are near a lot of restaurants by taxi for reasonable rates. Both for the taxi and meal cost. If the management would do a better job the staff would serve more people and get more tips. Unfortunately many people eat and drink else where. If you are very fussy do not stay here.

The good-
Camino Real King Club View- private pool right on beach is an experience you will not regret if you choose to stay here.

Property is beautifully landscaped on the hill.

Taxi into the main areas is only $120 pesos

Bar fridge is nice to keep your own drinks from the local convenience store.

Staff is kind and does try hard. I think many of the issues are management and out of their control.

The not so good-
Food and drinks are at least double if not triple of other options. Menu on TV is not updated and only buffet breakfast is an option on site at $35 per person for limited selection

Housekeeping is inconsistent and they kept taking the towels. Why?!!!!! It drove us crazy to keep asking for towels when ours were hung up nicely drying. Timing was all over the place as well.

In room coffee- two pods on day 1 of a 7 night stay seems odd. We bought our own as charge for more would have been outrageous.

Room is dated and in need of repairs. Toilet seat kept coming off, shower faucet was leaking

For a $250+ per night stay at a well known hotel chain- we expected more. The view alone is not enough to be able to let us give this place more than a mid review.

I stayed at this hotel for a week and booked three rooms, the quality of the stay does not reflect the price that was given. The bathroom tiles were broken, lack of hot water, a/c was noisy and not cooling properly, and after a couple of days the pool looked dirty. There is no filtration system in the pool. The price of the rooms should be adjusted to the quality of the hotel, it is not a four star hotel in my opinion. There is still more I could say, but this should suffice.

The shared facilities are very beautiful, however the individual rooms are very disappointing. The toilets, sinks and curtains are all stained and need urgent remodeling. The food at the hotel is also very expensive and not worth it. The staff are great and the pool and dining areas are gorgeous, but given the condition of the rooms, would never stay here again.

Amazing room right on the beach with a private pool! Off season rate was very good. My only complaint was the stinginess with the coffee and water. They only gave us 2 capsules of coffee and when I asked for more the room service guy showed up with a bill asking 100 pesos(over $5) for each capsule!!!! Also charged over 100 pesos for each bottled water!! This is a great property but beware of the charges!!!
