Bed was clean and comfortable. Loveseat was soiled. The curtain for the shower stall was on a curved rod which made it hang outside of the shower. Had the shower water been more than a trickle, the floor would have been flooded. I did not eat breakfast there because it was crowded, noisy, and the selections not to my taste.

We usually choose this location when in Beckley, WVA but this time our experience was poor. I rented two rooms, in one room the toilet had issues not wanting to flush and when it did it wouldn't flush all the way. In the other room the TV remote would not work, so we couldn't watch TV. The staff tried to help fixed the problem but couldn't. Also, the shower drains in both rooms didn't drain well.( fast enough before next person showered)

Overall, stay was very good. We had the suite which was roomy and clean. One negative is that we requested room service after our first 2 days but they never came. We were told that they were full and very busy so they didn’t get a chance to get to us. The breakfast was good but repetitive. It would have been nice if they had a different menu for those that were staying for multiple nights.

While the staff was polite and welcoming, the room was filthy. There was caked on excrement in the toilet, coffee still in the coffee pot, unmentionable hairs on the towels and a bed bug in our bed. For the price of this place, I would expect just a bit of cleanliness, especially in a suite.

Parking is sometimes impossible to find a spot except very far away. The rooms are never clean. We have stayed here several times now and only come back because we have a hard time finding anywhere else that will take our dogs. However, this last time made us decide we would rather sleep in our car than to stay at this hotel again. They need to take time to deep clean the rooms every so often because the walls and trim is thick with grime. The comforters have been stained. Half the lights never work. The bathrooms are often without toilet paper and don’t appear to get cleaned between guests. This most recent trip I found old food under one of the couches.

They reset your hotel key every night so have to have it reactivated every night and some of the front desk staff were kind of rude and they need to keep up on pool area keeping floor clean and towels stocked but good hotel overall

The sink had hair and toothpaste in it when we came in the room. It also took someone almost 10 minutes to come to the front desk. The beds were not overly comfortable, and there was nothing in the room at all to help find tv channels or to make a call. No cups other than the ones for coffee. We went down to the free breakfast buffet, the eggs were not edible however we did find some yogurt to eat.

Clean but you can definitely tell it’s a 30 year old property. I spoke with the manager at check out, who took over the 1st of the year. He said he’s working on improvements but all things take time. He was very interested in my opinions and very friendly. We do like the indoor/outdoor pool but the hot tub is no longer functioning. Breakfast was the standard, eggs, meat, biscuits and gravy, and of course wafffles. We’d stay again

Do NOT stay here! Completely unacceptable! This is the dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed in. Floors look as though they have not been swept in months. Dirt, debris and a dusty sock under the bed, a cigarette burn in the bed skirt. Spills and stains everywhere, dirty windows, cob webs and many more. People walking around like zombies on drugs. We would not even try the breakfast because everything was so dirty. I told the front desk upon checkout and they didn't seem concerned. Just told me that they would let housekeeping know.Other than that, the staff was very friendly. The pool was nice and that's about the only positive I can give.

A place to lay your head and shower! The staff was accommodating. The first room was near the pool and I had an allergic reaction to the smell of the chlorine and the dampness, they moved us away from the pool to an suite and I recovered. The first rooms sheets were stained (I always check for bed bugs, no bed bugs). The second room was better, the sheets had no stains. The bathroom was clean but old, they installed a new sink countertop but the entire bathroom needs renovated. The furniture in the suite was stained. They provided a breakfast which was average. The hotel was quiet, no noise after 10 pm. Overall this hotel is average.

The pool has repeatedly been out of order, going on 3 years since we've been making a yearly trip to visit family. The condition of the rooms have continued to decline, with broken tiles, sticky surfaces like door knobs & counters. There were several spatters of unknown substances throughout the room, on the walls. The furniture (couch & chair) were covered with a multitide of stains. The breakfasts have also continued to decline in variety & quality. The elevator floors are incredibly sticky, even after it was mopped. Our last stay was quite disappointing & we will not be returning. The only positive is that the staff have always been friendly, kind, & helpful.

Pool was huge and warm! Rooms were spacious, not the cleanest, but usable. Lots of dust on the headboard- corners of the room dirty, and the bathroom tub was peeling and VERY slippery. Bring your power bricks- old outlets, and kinda sparse. But the staff were very nice, and breakfast was good. Three different kinds of waffles- very busy hotel, could use a few more waffle makers. Biscuits were excellent!! Despite the negatives- would absolutely come again. Great for kids!! If you’re looking for a quiet, calm pool though, this wasn’t it. There were three different “groups” when we stayed. Seems to be a hotspot to bring kids, for families with kids is was great! My kids can’t wait to stay again.

Our stay was great from arrival to departure. We had a large group with 5 hotel rooms and the check in process was quick and seamless. The receptionist was so calm and kind with our group all standing and waiting at her desk. We had our teens and children from our church with us so of course they all were excited about the indoor-outdoor pool. It was well below freezing the entire time and there was snow all around so they especially enjoyed swimming outside since the water was heated. The receptionist was gracious enough to allow us to us the breakfast room to feed the kids pizza as long as we cleaned up after ourselves. That was such a nice bonus versus sending everyone to rooms. The rooms were comfy, clean and cozy. Breakfast was good. My only complaint was we expected maybe sausage or bacon and fresh fruit since we had stayed here in the past. There were still plenty of great options including plain, chocolate or cinnamon waffles made fresh along with real eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy etc so I still give it a 5 star experience!

The TV is not working in our room which is supposed to be an upgraded king suite. Also, there are not enough sheets and blankets in the room and apparently not enough to go around.

The room was dirty and was a respiratory nightmare with mold and mildew. The walls were very thin and the people above us kept us awake. The best part of the hotel was the hard working lady at the front desk who did her best to make our stay comfortable despite the hotel being a dump. The hotel staff worked hard and management needs to fix this place up and give the lady at the front desk a raise.

We've stayed at this property several times over the past 4 years. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is hot and fresh. Front desk staff is very friendly and attentive.

This time, I found the beds to be not as comfortable as previous visits. Front desk says that they'll be replaced soon. Other than this, good value for the money.

Horrible front desk experience. Rude. Reserved 2 rooms via Expedia. Onx (front desk) said I only reserved One. Second room had to be reserved and paid at that time. Coffee pot in room did not fit the coffee pod.
Found out that the desk clerk canceled my second reservation. Did not tell me.
The manager on call was called due to me asking for a coffee pot to fit the coffee pod. Ashley told me. there were no other coffee pots and i would have to fold the pod to fit into the coffee pot. The hotel was not full. The room was ok except the old food behind the microwave. The microwave could not be opened due to the push piece missing. Honest all true. What a disappointment!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and my late night check-in experience was extremely disappointing. The night receptionist didn’t greet me or make any effort at basic hospitality. Instead of asking for information, she simply said, “Name? Address? Phone number? Card for deposit,” in a very blunt, rushed tone. It felt more like filling out a form than checking into a hotel, and the interaction came across as rude and dismissive.

What made me even more uncomfortable was that when she handed back my card, she flipped it so the card numbers were facing directly upward toward the camera above us. This felt careless and unprofessional, and it made me question how secure my information was.

I strongly recommend evaluating who is working the night shift, because if someone cannot handle direct guest interaction with even minimal courtesy or awareness, they should not be in a hospitality position. It was genuinely the worst check-in interaction I’ve experienced.

On a positive note, the morning staff at checkout were very friendly and professional, and I appreciated their kindness.

Arrived and didnt get the room i originally reserved. Get to the room there was a milk and wash cloth laying in front of microwave, lo g black hairs in bathroom floor, black stuff all over floor, all around the shower on the walls were inches of dust, and the beds were not the best. There was an almost empty roll of toilet paper, i call the front desk and they tell me to come get it. There were two wash cloths and towels. I had to chase housekeeping down to get some each day i was there. The breakfast on Monday was barely anything. A few eggs and hashbrowns. No worker in sight. Had to ask for help at the front desk because the workers were outside smoking. We visit two to four times a year and this is the first time we have not enjoyed our stay here

Property is definitely in need of a major cleaning and updates. The rooms are a pretty good size but the floors move and squeak. Toilet did not flush properly..front desk guy couldn't be found for around 20 minutes when checking in around midnight.. we left in the morning before breakfast was ready.
