If this was a recently renovated property, FAIL! Toilet kept running all night, AC/Heat was making strange noises, not nearly enough outlets to plug night stands and lights into. Overhead and floor lamp had compact fluorescent bulbs that were buzzing. It is 2026, how about LED bulbs! Wife thought the bed was comfortable. That's the only positive i can think of.

Check in was chaotic. Phone ringing off the hook, line in the lobby, and only one receptionist. Another person came in to help. Some people were having issues with no heat or hot water in their rooms and they were having to switch rooms. The Second Lady that came to help was super rude and short with one man needing to change rooms.
With the hotel filling up, due to spring break, the manager hiked the prices to $133. Crazy for such an unprepared hotel.
Thankfully everything worked in our room. It’s obvious that they did a quick make over of the hotel. Slapped paint on and it just looks gross in places like the bathroom.
The beds were very uncomfortable. We had springs sticking in our hips.
The breakfast was running out of things and they weren’t being replaced. Syrup, plastic ware, boiled eggs…. Coffee was taken down at 10:00. It’s not available after that.

The lady at the front desk was nice, but didn’t know how to check us in or charge for drinks from the lobby “market”. The rooms smelled musty and the first room they put us in had a broken toilet and phone. When I requested a new room, the lady at the front desk was on her cellphone the entire time talking about how she did not like working at this hotel.

There was no hot water in our room on the 2nd floor when we were trying to shower in the morning. When we inquired at the front desk we were told they were not aware of any problems and there was nothing they could do. There was another guest present who was complaining about no hot water on her room on the 1st floor. The hotel would not compensate either of us for the inconvenience. We were very upset because we had to go to another hotel to get a room so we could shower before we headed to our work meeting.

We stayed at this hotel just one night. We rate the hotel “good”, but it has a potential to be better. The staff could make a difference if they would be trained to be friendly, proactive, offering information about services in the area, such as late night food orders and deliveries to the hotel. The front lobby and main entrance must be cleaned more often. Lighting of the main entrance could be improved.

I booked my room through expedia. Upon checking in, they said my card hadn't gone through. I was advised to pay for a room using my card again, and contact expedia to cancel the room I booked. Expedia said my transaction was non refundable, and I was charged for the room at the front desk. It cost me $237 for a room that didn't have working cards for the door lock. I was totally scammed.

Place isn’t great but isn’t terrible. Literally average is the best description. Staff were very friendly but there were some minor inconveniences. Our door wouldn’t open with the keycard so I had to walk all the way back to the front desk with the kids in tow to get it fixed.
Ice machine didn’t work so we had to use the one on the 2nd floor which was rusted out and barely spit out ice.
The room itself was better than expected with some little amenities (charging ports, desk lamp, decently size mini fridge) but wasn’t the cleanest. Spotted one dirty hand towel and the curtains were a bit worn out.
On the plus size the bed was comfy and I slept like a baby.
Would recommend if on a tight budget or booking something last minute otherwise maybe check out a couple different options literally down the street

I liked the convienience of being located right off the highway with quick access off and on. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The room was clean and the continental breakfast was well stocked with cereals, bread, bagels,yogurt ,waffles and fruit. The only thing I would complain about was a few minor details in the room that needed attention. Lamp with no working usb and plug in receptacles. Chair with loose armrest . But all in all it was fine for a one night stay while travelling.

Upon entry of the motel it smelled dirty but it was the only hotel with a room available. I usually stay at TRU. When i got to my room it looked ok but the bath looked dirty. The bed was comfortable and I did sleep well. I woke that morning to get ready for work. I had no bathroom towel. I did have 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel. The hair dryer did not work. I most definitely will book early enough to not have to stay hear again. I did tell the staff about my room. He did say Im sorry but said it in a way as if well thats a normal occurance here. Sad

We have stayed here before and had a good time. We had a small issue regarding our payment, and ended up paying twice, but it was resolved with relative ease within a day. There was also an unknown charge of 47 dollars to one of the cards with no explanation, and it apparently didn’t show up on their end, so unsure what that was or is.

Property is a bit run down, but you get what you pay for. The area where the hotel is located is super convenient, parking lot is a bit chaotic.

Staff is always super helpful and friendly! Continental breakfast is pretty good. I’d considering staying again, but my husband probably wouldn’t.

One of the worst stay I have had in a longer time. 1st room the air conditioning didn’t work . They moved us to another room and someone left a surprise in the toilet. Then when we tried to go to sleep the room did not have blackout curtains and this hotel was next to the WV turnpike so the lights from the turnpike and the flood lights from the parking lot lit up the room so it made it difficult to sleep. When I told the front desk person in the morning she said that she has been telling maintenance for a week about the blackout curtains.

The accommodation was good. The only criticism is that we had to walk down a hall to get to the elevator and the garbage containers were located in the hallway and they smelled really bad. Run down hotel. Rusty fixtures in the bathroom. They are building a new hotel next to it so they have construction containers everywhere. Missed the entrance to the hotel the first time had to drive around the area to find it! I think they are going to tear down the old building once the new one is complete only makes since. There's construction beside them for a new hotel currently. The floors in the 2nd floor hallway are very squeaky so water damage is likely. The room itself was fine, clean and comfortable bed.
The Breakfast area was disappointing. I don't think it was a full house but it was jam packed around the pitiful breakfast counter. 1 waffle maker. Cereal, granola, muffins Breads. Tiny cups of juices, yogurt & milk. That's it. 3 overflowing trash cans was the topper.
