We used this hotel as a stopover on the way to the South. Warning/opportunity for Expedia users - if you are booking for 4 people you probably started out specifying 2 rooms of 2 people, but the Quad room at this hotel is booked as if its one room for four, even though in reality its 2 connecting rooms. So, change your search to 4 in one room and book this. I got it wrong and booked a quad room for 2 people, and the automated systems said ah 2 people and booked one room...lucky for me the alert manager spotted it and gave us another room no extra charge...hows that for service, but I was lucky one was available.

Overnight travelling stop.

Overnight stop on our way South. We needed a bed for the night not very fat from the motorway and this fitted the bill perfectly. There was no evening meal option but we self catered on the patio.
The gentleman on reception desk was very friendly and exceedingly helpful.

Quiet and decorated in a modern, bougie style. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Parking is a bit unusual as it isn't paved nor marked and you just park in amongst the trees where you can. Price was very reasonable and there are many dining and grocery options in the near vicinity. Central Orleans is about 10-15 minutes drive.

A beautiful property set so far back from the road you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, we had an accessible room from my partner in a wheelchair. The deck was beautiful slight wear and tear on the furniture, but that’s expected I suppose. Our welcome was wonderful and despite the language barrier and my rubbish attempt at French they was very accommodating. Although we didn’t eat on site, there are a lovely bunch of restaurants nearby and I’ll be honest the food in the hotel smelt amazing. We would definitely do a stop over here again.

The hotel and the area is excellent for pet owners, which we truly appreciated. However, our room had a strong cigarette odor. The food variety was good, but vegetarian and fresh options were limited. One thing to note is that the meals are both cooked and served in glass terrines.

We have stayed here several times over the last few years as it is very convenient for us travelling between the UK and Southern France. Last year we thought it was looking a bit 'tired' but pleasantly surprised this week to see it has had a refurbishment so all looking new and fresh again with better facilities. Would have liked a toaster in the breakfast room though.

Marmite Hotel - you'll either love it, or hate it.

This hotel will either drive you mad or make you laugh. We laughed. In a lovely setting away from the main road and with views (half the rooms at least) of the river. The lobby and dining areas were nice as was the patio for dining and or drinks with views into the garden and over the river.
The carpets up to the rooms are drab and stained with the room carpet in ours a light colour also showing up numerous stains.
It did have a mini bar fridge within the wardrobe unit but no mains socket to plug it in to. It also had a room safe which was locked tight. The aircon only blew out hot air and on a hot day was not what we wanted. The bed was fine, the bathroom and shower no issues. The coffee machine comes with 2 x free coffee pods, bring your own rather than pay €1 each for further ones.
The wifi was good.
We walked in to the city centre along the river, allow and hour each way. Buses and trams are also available nearby. German supermarket literally over the road.
For us this hotel was fine.

Perfect one night stay on way south

Lovely one night stay on the way from Calais to the south of France. We were three adults in a triple room and there was plenty of room. The third bed was a proper single bed and perfect for our six foot son.

Great location for somewhere just off the motorway. There was a range of continental breakfast options available in the morning. In the are, there are a couple of bakeries within walking distance which is a great alternative for breakfast too. Comfy beds, clean bathroom and friendly staff. I’d stay here again

Amazing value for money compared to the local 'com

Amazing value for money compared to the local 'competition'!

The hotel is set way back from the road in tree covered grounds on the ban of the Loire and is therefore quiet and you feel like you're in the country, rather than close to a busy road.

The room was large, comfortable with a 'queen'-sized bed, and with good facilities including an excellent shower, all with a view over the River Loire.

The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Good restaurants nearby complete the picture.

We highly recommend it and will stay there again on our next drive home from the UK through France.

Great Hotel and great staff

We had a one night stay at the Parc Hotel on the way through to S.W. France as it was halfway to our destination. The Hotel was set in a lovely area with lots of shaded parking areas and garden areas for our dog to play in, there was a garden gate which took us to a walk along the river. The room was decorated in a contemporary style and met our needs completely. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially one lovely young lady named Rachel who couldn’t have been more helpful. We liked it so much that we booked a room for our return trip before we left the next morning. We didn’t eat there so I can’t comment on the food. We have now left the Hotel on our return trip and our experience was the same as before. If we do a similar trip in the future this would definitely be our go to stopover.

there was an infestation of mosquitoes and midges in our room. Someone (before we arrived) must have had the window open - despite a sign telling you not to. The room was FULL of them and the management had to come and vacuum the walls, ceiling and bed. They also sprayed with insect killer which got rid of a lot but not all of them. We spent the night worrying about waking up with bites

Excellent experience in every way. My partner & I were travelling from our house in Spain to Calais Eurotunnel, with our dog.
Hotel is so close to A71 junction.
Hotel set in lovely gardens and grounds so it is very quiet.
Room was quite large, with an extra bed, and very newly decorated. Excellent shower room.
Everything was ‘Boutique’ style decoration and appeared very recently decorated.
Hotel is totally dog friendly. A MASSIVE bonus for us.
Very nice breakfast room with good choice for continental breakfast.
Late night (side door) code and WiFi password shown on room key. So information immediately available.
Realised we had stayed at hotel 5 years ago but hotel has since had a complete make-over. Outside, (probably due to time of year, dark, lots of leaves etc) might appear a little dull.
But overall a FANTASTIC experience for our stop-over and we will definitely book again.
Massive improvement on some of the gites we had stayed in previously.

It appears to have been recently renovated, very nice bedroom and bathroom, the exterior looks a little tired though. Very pleased to be offered the choice of a hot meal in our bedroom when we arrived, not expecting that due to Covid restrictions. Breakfast was pre- ordered, a very wide choice, this was collected next morning and eaten in our bedroom. Quiet location with good parking and only minutes from the autoroute.

We arrived at the hotel which appears to have more than one name and went to reception where a trolley and bags of washing were lying about. We waited until another couple had been dealt with, then stood there for a few minutes while the manager fiddled about with the computer, eventually said “un moment”, then carried on ignoring us for another few minutes. He finally checked us in. The carpets on the landing and corridor were badly stained and there was an unpleasant smell. The toilet in the en-suite was badly stained, the lower bracket for the shower screen was dirty and the fridge had brown fluid on the bottom. I went back to reception where a younger man who seemed to be part of the family was sitting. I asked for the toilet and fridge to be cleaned. He called a cleaner and they came to the room. They said it wasn’t possible to clean the toilet, it was just marked and when I showed them the fridge, the cleaner used a towel to wipe it, then the bottle of water that had been sitting in the brown fluid. I objected to the fact that she did not use any disinfectant and just wiping it with a towel was not good enough. The young man and the cleaner insisted that was enough and left. The voile curtains at the window had dirty marks and there was a strange smell in the room. The sheets and towels were clean but I didn’t want to walk barefoot on the carpet. We had booked a room on our return through France but can’t face staying there again, even if we don’t get a refund.

Have stayed here several times on journeys to and from South West France. The hotel is in a very convenient location, a couple of minutes from the motorway, a few paces from an excellent restaurant, and close to a supermarket and a Boulangerie where one can have breakfast and buy first class sandwiches for the road ahead.

I chose this hotel on the basis of location first, then price and then facilities. For me it was only a short drive to my meeting but the hotel is dated.

When I arrived the hotel appeared to be shut as it was in darkness, I entered reception and there were three guys sitting in there and a woman behind the desk. There was a card with German, English and I think Dutch flags on but from what I could tell the woman just spoke French.

However we got though and I got me room key. The room was plain and no frills however it was clean and the shower worked well.

There was no bar and no restaurant, there appeared to be a restaurant next door but it was closed. For the one night I was there it was OK but I'd choice somewhere else next time. I didn't get to see the grounds but the location next to the river look great.

I'd booked on Hotels.com and paid up front but they then tried to charge me again on checkout which is either poor service or just fraud.

Wonderful, quiet hotel in Orleans

Location was great for us, just off the A10 and a 5 minute walk from the tram to the centre. We were lucky and had a balcony overlooking the Loire. Great big bed, nice shower, very large room Nice grounds overlooking the river. Breakfast was good and at a price comparable to a Travellings in the UK much better value.

It's a hotel we have stayed at several times before, for an overnight stop on our way south. I understand it has recently changed hands so maybe some upgrades will be seen.

Name is appropriate — setting is like a park. Ask for a room on the 2nd floor (in the US, we would refer to it as the 3rd floor) for the best views of the river. Hotel is clean, but could use some renovating. Our toilet was in a separate “closet” and not near the vanity/shower. No elevator.

Stop over while travelling south

We stopped here while travelling to the south of France after a long day in the car. Check in was smooth, and the room was perfect. Views of the area are great, with some nice walks right out the back. Staff do speak English if needed.

Breakfast was good, standard continental with bacon and eggs - the price of breakfast always amazes me a time hotels.

Location of hotel perfect if travelling this way - only two minutes from the tolls.

We would definitely stay here again if we come down this way!

Just off the motorway this hotel avoids having to get in/out of Orleans at what may be peak times.
Pleasant hotel on banks of River Loire which is just at the bottom of their gardens. Parking is easy and well off the main road so very quiet.
Not sure if they have a lift - we couldn't find one!
Breakfast OK and there's a good Courte Paille just across the road and the hotel give you a 15% off voucher

One Night 'Pit Stop'

This was our second stay at the Parc Hotel (5ys in between!), and hotel is great for the one night stopover that we planned (not really suitable for long stay). No restaurant on site but easy walk to a couple of good steak houses. Close to the motorway so easy to get to and from if travelling afar. Will stay again if ever going that way again and looking for a one night stopover.

Nice hotel off the main rode. The room was decent sized. The toilet room was across the room from the sink and bathtub, so that was awkward to have to walk across the room to wash your hands. The shower was a semi-typical bathtub with a half glass door, so some water leaked onto the floor while showering. We did not feel like going out to get dinner once we arrived, so we ordered the microwave food that the hotel offered. It was decent enough and was brought up to our rooms for us. Breakfast was adequate with not many choices of lunchmeat or cheeses.

Surprising river views in a good hotel

Modern hotel in extensive grounds set back well away from road, fairly close to the motorway exit ( but no traffic noise) and overlooking the Seine.Rooms modern , good sized with all usual mod.cons including fridge.Reasonable sound-proofing.Separate toilet from bathroom.Comfortable king-sized bed.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast;reasonable choice of food but at 10 euros per head it is probably worth trying a local bar or cafe.The hotel offers some reasonably-priced snacks suitable for a light supper but no restaurant which is its only drawback.We did not see a lift but fortunately did not need to use one.
Overall excellent hotel which we would be very happy to stay in again.

The hotel has the facility to eat an \"Italian snack meal\" albeit via a microwave, at any time, for around seven euro's. Quite often after a long day on the road we don't really feel like eating a long formal meal, so this is great for us. The rooms also have a fridge.

This hotel is okay for an overnight stay en route to the South or returning home. No proper bar or restaurant, although the continenal breakfast is just fine.

We had a family room with one double and one single bed, which was huge but utterly let down by the matresses. All of them were rock hard, which felt like you were sleeping on concrete. After a 250 mile drive i was looking forward to a lovely comforable bed. My 13 year old son will sleep anywhere anytime and he too had a terrible nights sleep!

A brief stopover

This was an overnight stopover on a trip back to London from the south. I was disappointed that the hotel did not have its own restaurant and that the one on the same site required booking, but that was probably my fault for not having looked at the details closely enough. I couldn't fault the service (which included sending my wallet back to London) after it fell out of my pocket in my room.

One night stop

Good place for overnight stay. Close to motorway and easy to find. Out of town by some way but not hard to drive in and find somewhere to eat. Wonderful setting on the river. Room pleasant with good bathroom. Can recommend.

Good place to stop off en route to South of France

Room was comfortable with air conditioning which is a blessing in the height of summer. Well located for the autoroute, and several restaurants within easy walking distance. Hotel had pleasant garden overlookling the river Loire. Room would have benefitted from tea and coffee making facility although this is rare in France.

Nice Hotel close to River and Cycle Trail

The hotel was very convenient to the autoroute and was set in a very nice, well tended garden bordering the River giving excellent access to the cycleways. Our adjoining rooms seemed to have been given a recent makeover. The furniture was very nice and both bedroom and bathroom were spacious. Air conditioning in the rooms was very much appreciated. Our only criticism would be the lack of Tea or Coffee making facilities in the room and were not aware of any being available through the hotel.

Close to Tollway and superb view across the Parc t

I have stayed at this hotel on my way from Calais to Montcuq on at least 12 occasions amd have never had any problems there.

OK for an overnight

The hotel looks rundown and could use an updating. The sign at night is not illuminated. Stayed there for 2 nights while visiting relatives and sightseeing. We were out most of the day so as long as the room was clean and not smelly, it was acceptable. Breakfast was sparse - no hot items. For the limited selections, it was overpriced. The bathroom had soap but no shampoo/conditioner.

The room itself was great but there was little noise seperation between floors so when the people below got up at 4am it ruined our sleep which was very important as this was an overnight stopnon a long journey

Nice hotel

Nice hotel , which probably looks much better when it isn't raining. Rooms clean and spacious but a bit tired. A 7 minute drive from the town centre so too far to walk, but Orleans is well worth a visit. Breakfast could have offered more in the way of bacon sausage and scrambled eggs.

Fantastic service

If you're looking for a pet friendly hotel in this area, you couldn't find better. We stayed the night while travelling with 2 dogs. The staff can not do enough for you. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The grounds are lovely and there are walks along the Loire right from the hotel. The continental breakfast is the best we've ever tasted in France. Don't look anywhere else if travelling with pets in the Orleans region.

Great for stop over

Great for a stop over on the way back from the south. Quiet but close to the motorway. Nice garden and access to walk along the river to stretch those legs.

Good hotel for transit

The hotel is a typical Novatel, clean, modern and efficient. The staff were helpful and the rooms were fine, the walk into town was about 10 minutes and there is a car park at the station next door. A very nice transit stop.

Convenient to motorway for an enroute night stop.

Surprised that an hotel rated as three star did not have a restaurant or elevator. Wifi was available but the patron was unable to maintain a connection on my IPad.

Great stopover

Excellent place for a stop over from or to the south. Nice garden for a bit of fresh air and large comfortable rooms. We will return!
