It's a two-story hotel without an elevator which could be an issue if you have lots of luggage. There is a linoleum floor in the hallways - no carpeting and there's very little insulation so you can hear everything - there's a tremendous cacophony of noise even when people are just walking down the hallway and opening and closing doors. The sound level is kind of like middle school on the last day of school.
On the second floor they don't have good Wi-Fi coverage and it didn't work or it was very poor.
The lady at the front desk did the best she could but you can't fix this place.

Run!!! This place is a scam! I am not a picky person and I can make the best of pretty much anything….but even for me after a few hours in our room, we definitely needed to leave. We planned on staying 4 nights and had to throw away that money for this hotel because it was so bad and to go find another hotel last minute. It was a blessing in disguise, because we really loved the next hotel so our story had a happy ending…but started with tears because this place was so bad, I mean really, really bad.

When I informed the front desk they said she lives there. If you want your room clean you have to go to front desk to request and even then they may not show up

The Place is a Total Scam, Showed picture of the Hotel is a lie, place actually is a totally different building and it looks like out of service, Even the Check in is a different building. Rooms are dirty and even with mold. Furniture is broken, floors are full of hair, dirty Sheets, with thing that look like hair or tiny bugs. Rusted Fridge, bathrooms full of hair, My reservation included a Queen bed, the actual one was at most a Full bed, falling apart.

Terrible! One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, it's actually like a transient or vagrant housing that also rents rooms. Brown water, no lock on the door, extra $50 for parking per night, and high rates as they gouges us because of the hurricane Milton. No cafe as mentioned, and the picture IS NOT the hotel, but a view from the front door.

First room I was in smelled like weed. Asked to be transfered and was put in a nicer roomed with no smell. Overall room was clean, I had what I needed and service was exceptional. Thank you!

And one thing that I found absolutely disgusting was that my shower was running water that was brown tinted. I had to let it run for a while for it to run clear.
Also, there is no way to control the air conditioning. The air was low relatively fine, but I like to adjust it, but there was no way for me to do so.
The facility overall was very poor. I come to Miami a lot from out of town. But I will never book a stay at this property ever again.

Out of a ghetto movie , no hotel sign . Does not look like a hotel. $250 for garbage hotel. Smell of marijuana in the entire hotel as well as entrance. Have to go to the building next door to check in while carrying my luggage from place to place and up the stairs to my room. Old furniture out of the 80s. Very noisey from other rooms who have loud music on and partying and seeing these odds car delivering stuff to this hotel which it’s safe to assume that it’s drugs. Location is great and I’m surprised to see that such place is allowed to exist on an upscale prime tourist and hotel area. I stayed at a duliffrent hotel prior to my cruise which was simply amazing for a couple of hundred more per night. A complete great resort called CADILAC hotel and resort.
The only reason I ended up at this Geneva place was because there was a mistake in my flight and I needed a last minute hotel until the next morning.

The check in and out was bizarre with completely indifferent employees. We had to wait for 45 minutes to checkout as a crazy woman without a reservation insisted she be given a room because she knew the owner, an entitled Canadian \"professional traveler\" (no idea what that meant) wanted to be given his room 4 x hours before his check-in time (he sucked as a person and that wasn't their fault, however they should have had him step-aside to assist us), a women needed toilet paper for her room, and another woman came in because her shower was freezing.
The entrance felt completely unsafe. There was no guard or attendee and the front-door unlocked. The materials poor quality and anyone could push through with minimum effort.
The hallway had the same used sheets and garbage on the floor for the entire stay that disturbingly looked like a sleeping person.
The bathroom was from a prison. The floor was stained with dried sap looking circles. The sink had what appeared to be blood (most likely makeup). There was only cold water in the shower. The towels were stained and threadbare. However the bars of soap were surprisingly good smelling.

You get what you pay for, I had very low expectations coming in and it wasn't as bad as other reviews. If you expect 4 stars and up, get ready to pay 2 or 3 times as much. Not too noisy considering the area and that I got a room towards the rear of the building. Clean sheets, plenty of toiletries upon request, central a/c and hot water won me over. South Beach is very humid and wear and tear is within reasonable parameters.

I didn't like the fact I told the guy that I was bumped from my flight so I arrived at midnight. He charged me a $50 deposit after I told him why I wasn't there at 530p.
The guy did say he would refund the room at check out but his partner Selson who witnessed it claimed he didn't remember and only refunded the $50 deposit. Selson is Brazilian. They were chatting when I arrived. I'll never stay there again. I told the guy I could cancel because I purchased protection. Please refund me. Selson told me to contact you.

What I didn’t like was the fact that the first night of arrival we had no electricity until about 2am, second is the staff that was at front desk said they gave me my deposit back but they didn’t, they showed me a receipt that was signed but it wasn’t my signature, I clearly showed them what my signature looked like on my drivers license and it sure didn’t match up even close…over all I’m not coming back

1st it's cool for what it is before you check in... My was never cleaned... It's was black mode growing out the vent... Pressed body wash and shampoo... Floor were covered in dirt.... The house keeper saw me heading to complain at the front desk... she stopped me and assured me to give her 2 hours to clean it.. mind you it's already 5pm.. I noted the front desk and went out for 3 hours .. room still not cleaned...no wash rags ..hair still under the covers...Now it's almost 8:39 pm and u can't find any where else...So I had to request Pillow cases and cover so I coy sleep on top I've the Covers... Also the building controls the air .. so I Froze to death in a Black mold covered vent room and woke up feeling horrible as to I'm allergic to mold ... Stay safe y'all... Just don't stay here
