Clean room but the images that was shown on the website is so inaccurate, the lighting is bad mines was orange and flickering. The bathroom is very tiny like very tiny I don’t know about the other rooms but mines did not look like the images. I checked out after one day I couldn’t do it.

The only real issues I had was, the shower water temp was barely lukewarm and the towels left fibers all over my body so I had to use a blanket to dry. Aside from that, great location and the room was clean

We didn't have TV reception and there was no hair conditioner in the bathroom. Considering these places charge you a \"resort\" fee this is not acceptable.
We asked the reception for assistance and she virtually ignored our request.
I would never stay here again due to POOR customer service.

This property is trying to do everything as cheap as possible. Leveraging technology to replace people. The key card on your phone only works sometimes. On average 3 attempts to get a door open. No one mans the property after 10. A big group got stranded on the front patio for hours because the scanners didn't work. The only way we got in was by calling the police at midnight. My AC didn't work on the first night and 3 days later still wasn't working. The staff isn't competent and makes excuses instead of solving the problems. I wrote to management in the middle of my stay. Reached back out the next day, again with no response. The front desk said they got the message but they couldn't be bothered to acknowledge my complaints.

I wouldn't stay here again if it was free. They truly do not care about your experience. They want income with the lowest amount of effort/cost.

The advertising pictures are not at all what the rooms look like it’s complete false advertisement. The place is a complete dump. Maybe comparable to a rundown motel six. I did not like the Digital Key and if it wasn’t for having a staff member there at 6:30 PM I would not have figured out how to get in the building or anything else. My room was absolutely disgusting so was the bathroom things were broken and oddly fixed. The only thing nice about this place was the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of only the lobby and the proximity to everything in South Miami, which is the beach, food and shopping.

The staff was fantastic- incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Paula. The room was very odd, with weird paint and lots of obvious and not so great repairs, but a good price. The hair dryer was disgusting and the bed had severe sagging that made it uncomfortable for us. The room served its purpose on a night that options were slim (late booking on Valentine’s Day).

It took us awhile to wait for checking but it was also very late at night. Didn’t mind the waiting but we couldn’t reach a person on the phone. Someone else who pass by called the front desk person who then came by. Then the check in was quick.

We found ants in our bed. Told the front desk and we got a change of rooms. The mattress may be a little outdated because it was not even. It was close by to most locations for us and public transportation was very convenient.

In another room, the blow dryer blew out the fuse. But since the breaker panel was in the room so it was easily reseted.

Kitchen was equipped. I like that there is a table and chairs. That’s what I wanted to be able to sit and do some work.

Checking out was easy. Overall, good stay.

I am ending my stay at the Crest Hotel Suites, and I can confidently say this has been the worst hotel experience of my entire life.

From the moment we arrived, everything went wrong. There was no air conditioning in the hotel due to a broken system, making the stay unbearable. When this was brought to the front desk’s attention, the staff member flatly stated there was “nothing she could do,” offering no solution, no apology, and no concern.

Our hotel key cards did not work for the entire stay, forcing us to repeatedly search for staff just to access our room—an unacceptable inconvenience and a major security concern. The television did not work, and once again, the front desk provided zero assistance or effort to resolve the issue.

To make matters worse, the room itself was filthy. The floors were covered in excessive dust and sand, clearly indicating the room had not been properly cleaned prior to our arrival. The overall condition of the room was disgusting and far below even the most basic hotel standards.

This entire stay was a complete disaster from start to finish. Poor maintenance, non-functioning amenities, dirty rooms, and unhelpful staff created what can only be described as a hotel from hell. This establishment should be ashamed to operate under the name of a hotel.

I will never return and will be warning others to avoid this place at all costs.

I was unable to figure out where the main entrance was as the building that says Crest is not the front door. The lobby was fine, but our room (a studio/kitchenette) was very dated. It was pretty clean, but dated and lacking what we felt were appropriate amenities compared to what we were paying.

I had an excellent experience at this hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly, always welcoming, and willing to help with absolutely everything, which truly makes the stay even more enjoyable.

The location is amazing! the hotel is extremely close to all the shops and restaurants, all within walking distance, making it super convenient and easy to get around.

I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great service and an unbeatable location!

A special thanks to the guy who stays overnight because he helped me to carry all my bags at 5:30am

I didn't understand this room. Carpeted floor in Miami? Bathroom walls and floor all painted, no tile, and looked like a 5 year old painted it. Bird covered ceiling was slightly creepy. But the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and it was a great walkable location

We had again a great time staying at Crest hotel in October/25. The room was extremely clean and the service was amazing . Clean fresh towels daily. Hotel staff Florence, Paula and supervisor Francesco were exceptional. Hotel is lucky to have them. Hotel provide beach towels and 2 folding chairs per room. Complementary coffee in the lobby you can enjoy on the hotel terrace. That is a great feature. Pool is clean and good size. Shower is available at the pool area.
We wish that hotel staff is on site over night instead leaving the hotel unattended overnight from 12 am-8 am for guest safety.
Overall experience is fantastic because of amazing hotel reception team. Kudos to hotel staff for making us feel so special! See you soon again!

I did not stay as the proterty did not meet expectations. I didn't feel safe and the elevator clamped as it went up and upon exit that same night, it wouldn't work for going down. I feel i was miss informed of this hotels condition and the even though I didn't stay, the property won't give me my money back yet, or even reason with me yet. Perhaps i need to bring a lawyer in to it. Or perhaps I could make this review a little bit better if they worked me on any part of it. Anything would help. Even a partial refund because they should not be there should not be false advertising.

Location is perfect and central. Staff was here to help, but can't do miracles too when it was needed. Regarding the pool, i don't even tried it, it was literally useless, and the floor all around the area was dirty like if it was rusty. Karsher needs maybe ? Anyways, It needs a real update. My Room was pretty comfy, bed was excellent, but also a bit noisy when it comes to drunk people by the pool. No elevator can be a problem too if you are charged and breakfast is not located in the hotel itself. If you are working like me : basically it's ok and affordable, but i won't chose this one for hollidays for its amenities, until your thing is only going the beach.

We are regular guests at Crest hotel. Very clean, close to the beach and Lincoln rd. Friendly staff and an amazing management team. Hotel offers complementary coffee in the morning that you can enjoy on their terrace. Pool is available and they provide you with beach towels and 2 beach foldable chairs. Florence is exceptional with her great attitude and personality. Friendly and very professional. Francesco is excellent as well, very professional and always willing to help. Same with Paula. Kudos to hotel cleaning team as well.
Dianelis the manager is exceptional! Many thanks for your welcoming and hospitality that make us feel very special. That is the reason we return to Crest hotel multiple times in the year. We appreciate your help and support accommodating us.

Overall, the stay was OK. The location of the hotel is fantastic! The beach is two blocks away and there are so many food, pharmacy, shopping options within a few block radius. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was very relaxing. The hotel also provides beach towels and beach chairs/umbrellas to borrow at no extra cost. However, the air conditioning in our room was almost nonexistent. We turned it down to the coolest setting, and it was still so hot in the room that none of us slept with blankets and we were sweating the entire time. There is also nowhere to hang up wet swimsuit/towels, other than one towel hook on the back of the bathroom door. There also wasn’t a fan in the bathroom, so it was always humid and nothing dried.

Crest Hotel? More like the Crust Hotel. Crummy room with poor facilities and the cheapest linens and shower products. Not even a plastic cup in the room for a drink of water. And the hostile Italian waiter in the restaurant tried to throw my family andy wife out of the attached restaurant because we were only having drinks and not a full meal? Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

The reception area and front of the property are really well maintained and aesthetically very pleasing, aligned to the Art Deco style of the area. The rooms themselves however are a little dated and for that reason, harder to keep clean. The carpet for example appeared old and possibly not as clean as it could be and we did not feel comfortable with the children playing on the floor. I think the price paid reflects the age of the property and this was our only negative. The kitchen and dining area was very handy with hob and microwave so we could prepare basic meals and eat in as required. We loved the pool; warm during the day and shady later on so perfect for cooling down after a long day in the sun. The location was brilliant, very close to the beach and also close to the main street with free shuttle to other parts of Miami beach or you can easily walk to restaurants, shops, etc

Very indifferent check in assistant. No ironing board in room, carpet was bare to the boards in places and the air conditioning is noisy. The $140 resort fee just seems like a cash grab when the only service you offer is a small pool and chairs I can carry blocks to the beach. Also no do not disturb hanger, and bathroom towels are best as floor mats (small and scratchy/old)

This place is in need of an update bad! Gross stains on the carpet that could easily be steamed out. Holes in tub, bathroom mirror warped and worn furniture. A/C w8ndow unit that hardly worked!!! You need A/C in Miami heat!! I was only there 2 nights. Positives were the pool and the beach chairs that are 4 blocks away on the beach.

As usual excellent service by Florence, Francisco, Paula(not sure if that was the name of other lady at reception). Florence welcome us with a great smile and positive attitude that make us feel special as we are the regular guests at the hotel. She accommodated us very well and went beyond expectations. Francisco was amazing as well.He took care of us when we have a problem with terrible noise issues with room above us.
The entire hotel staff were professional and nice. Kudos to all of them and the manager Alejandra!

All you need in south beach at a reasonable price!

It was our second time in this hotel, with 12 years difference since our last stay.
Not much has changed. It’s an “old school” hotel, but in a good way.
Though not so modern (like many of the 3 story buildings in the south beach area) the hotel is maintained very well, it is very clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Its location is walking distance to Ocean drive, the beaches, Washington avenue and Lincoln road.
The prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other hotels in the vicinity.

The hotel was nice and the decor was very classic. The front desk staff was good, but when my family and I checked in the power went out for a few hours. Then I had an issue on Friday night with a gentleman who stated that he was security. My sister and I couldn't get in the hotel because the door was locked and we didn't have our card, instead of him asking which room and names he asked us for our room key and he was very rude. We waited for the rest of our family to get back 20 minutes later to get into the hotel

Reception staff and services were exceptionally good. Beds and bedding are super comfy. All bathroom fixtures worked well. AC too. Nights were quiet, mornings too, except on 2 occasions when some families let multiple children use the hallways as their playground. Some updating is overdue - however cleanliness was perfect and made up for any of the dated aspects of the room. Price to value is excellent. I highly recommend Crest Hotel and will return. Many thanks to all the staff.

They need an update and not the landlord special. Our bathroom door hardly closed. Then our second day they almost didn’t make up the room. We had to ask and then they tried to make it seemed like we weren’t out of the room early enough when we were out by 11am. Honestly it wasn’t awful but I’d pick better hotels for the same price in the same area.

This was shockingly the WORST hotel ive ever stayed in. The pool was having maintenance and not available. The halls were musty and dirty. The room was disgusting. There were stains on the sheets. The carpet was sticky. I has to use the towels to put on the ground so i could walk without getting my feet dirty. The bathroom was so freaking nasty. When we turned the faucet on, nasty stuff came out of the drain like the inside of a cigar. The shower was literally not possble to use. It was like 6' high all dark purple paint, no light inside - scary!! Just a terrible terrible experience.

The location of the hotel was excellent. An easy walk to the beach, and restaurants. The room was very clean.
Unfortunately. the hotel needs some love and upgrading. The seams on the upholstery on the benches in the lobby were coming apart.
We were in the second building, and the rooms were very spacious, but outdated. The carpet was coming up, the faucet on the kitchen sink was falling apart, the deadbolt did not work on the door. The bed and pillows were comfortable .

We saw some negative reviews and were a bit worried, but our experience was very good. Our room was large, clean, and very comfortable bed. Front desk staff were very accommodating, and let us into the room ahead of check out time, as we had disembarked a cruise ship early morning. Staff were kind and caring. I would be happy to stay there again.

The conditions at this hotel are extremely poor. Everything is grimy, dirty, smelly. They try to cover up the smell with a sweet scent that is making the conditions even worse.
Manager on duty was understanding and supported partial refund request, however since no night was spent here I am still working on collecting full refund.
The place raises serious health and safety concerns.
Staff tried their best to support with limited options, which I appreciate.
Property needs a deep cleaning, major sanitizing, facelift ( of course with keeping the historical elements as they should ).
Willing to support feedback with all the detailed photos that were taken prior to my escape from this establishment.

Amazing hotel , no parking only downside , get your parking at a local garage overnight for peace of mind , make sure you do it early tho as they get full !

Old and un-updated carpets were dirty shower sprayed from the connection and the sink faucet falling apart. Toilet seat had wear mark was probably 10 yrs old. I would not stay here again.

The property is a perfect example of the Art Deco era. It had a lovely vibe from the moment we checked in. The young women who checked us in was professional though light hearted with the ability to make one feel comfortable quickly. It was easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. We enjoyed the free coffee in the a.m. in their outdoor dining area. I would certainly stay there again.

Older building and rooms need to be updated (new furniture etc) but location is excellent. Close to many shops and restaurants. Also, just a few blocks walk to the beach.
