You can’t adjust the ac in the rooms but it is very clean. You are provided beach towels and beach chairs. Access was easy. You don’t interact with any staff. Very close to everything you could need. No on site parking but there is a garage on the next block which isn’t terribly priced.

I had a great stay at Casa Sobe! The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. I loved the aesthetic of the hotel, and the shower was amazing. Although there is no front desk, the on-call staff was always easy to reach and very helpful whenever I had questions or needed extra towels and toilet paper.

I hadn't received my access code around the time of check in and I made a call and she called right back. The best part of this hotel is the location. It is situated right between Española and Lincoln. Less than 5 minutes walking either way. Also, the beach is 5 minutes walking. Love the location. I would stay here again.

Casa Sobe was a perfect stay. The room was so spacious and very clean. Though there is no front desk it wasn't necessary for us. You're one block off of South Beach with so much to do within walking distance and the two beach chairs is a plus. If you don't care about the extra amenities (pool, gym, etc.) this is a place to highly consider.

Room good for sleep but not hanging out…basically 2 beds in room and 2small chairs. If you just need a place to shower and sleep, that is clean, I would recommend.

Clean property, nice room, very convenient location. However they only provided 4 towels for 2 people that must last greater than 48hours. You’re clearly going to the beach and water if vacationing in Miami so you will be showering etc more than regular. When my family simply asked housekeeping for a few more towels, the staff turned it into this huge debacle and told us we weren’t following the rules. I’m all for “saving the environment” but at the same time - I’m visiting Miami for the beach and water sports and a few more towels to properly bathe and clean shouldn’t be such a huge issue.

Very clean and brand new. I loved the decorative bathroom tile and shower. My only complaint was when we arrived the room had a very strong odor of cleaning chemicals. It was hard to get rid of because we had the AC on and didn’t want to open the windows all night.

This is an unmanned hotel, so check in is done with a code they provide you. When we got to our room the first night, the AC unit did not work. No one on site to help out so we sweat through the night. We also never found a way to disable the energy saver feature on the overhead lights. They kept turning off after a couple minutes, so we just didn't use them. Notice the beach picture prominently displayed in their ad? This hotel is not on the beach. It's only a block away, but the picture is extremely misleading. The room was good, clean and functional, overlooking the busy street. The location is great, you can walk a short distance in either direction to amazing restaurants and shops as well. Had to ask for extra towels, did not have room service at all during out 3 night stay. Zero English spoken by cleaning staff I tracked down for more towels. It served it's purpose for us, but that's about it. Wouldn't stay there again.

Clean room. Good location close to 15st. A lot of seaweed over there right now. We walked to 10th st and it was much cleaner and you can swim on the beach. No staff onsite.

The room was very clean and spacious. A couple downsides was that the bathroom door didn’t fully close/lock, the noise from the cars outside was very noticeable and had a hard time staying asleep due to this.Other than that I will be coming back and recommend Casa Sobe.

We had a wonderful stay at Sobe in Miami. The property was very clean, well-maintained, and overall very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and the shower was clean and modern. We also appreciated the in-room amenities like the coffee machine, safe, beach towels, and the fact that each room comes with beach chairs—super convenient since the beach is right across the street.

The room was very clean and updated. The check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Just beware that with no front desk staff present on the property, it turns the place into a free for all for guest bad behavior. We stayed for 4 nights and ALL FOUR NIGHTS we were woken up anywhere from 2am-5am with other guests either screaming, fighting or having parties around the hotel. It definitely attracts the party crowd with no onsite supervision. We also called the contact phone number several times with some basic questions throughout the stay and it was very clear that the staff on the other end of the line do not like being bothered. They were always rude and rushed us off the phone for simple questions. Example: We called because we couldn’t find an Amazon package that had been delivered to the hotel. The employee on the phone basically said too bad so sad.. a couple hours went by and we found a maintenance man on the property who had locked up the package for us. A simple offer to help investigate by the employee who answers the phones would’ve been nice and would have saved us a lot of time thinking our package was stolen..

Everything was so nice and clean. We had everything we needed. We were only there for a few hours due to major flight delays, but it was a great experience while it lasted.

There is no guest parking on the premises. We were given the address to a parking garage that was $320 for 2 overnight stay. The AC cannot be adjusted although there is a thermostat in the room it doesn't get cooler than what is set previously. The noise is horrible due to the walls being so thin, I could hear people talking outside and next door my room. The floor in the room was dirty although it appears clean. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were both nearly empty.

Instead of management coming to confirm the issue, they kept sending a maintenance guy who did not speak English, looked at the unit, said “I will fix it now,” and left. He came 5 times with no result. After every visit, management emailed saying maintenance reported it was working fine. I even recorded a video showing there was no air flow and no sound from the unit, but they kept replying that everything was fine and implied we wanted the room extremely hot. Not true. We were freezing and slept in hoodies. Phone staff were also rude and not helpful.
Second issue was the motion sensor lights. They shut off every couple minutes unless you get up and move around. It was exhausting, especially because the windows face a wall so there is basically no natural light. Management claimed there was a switch to disable the sensor, but their own maintenance guy confirmed it was not working and there was nothing he could do. Yet they still blamed us.
After multiple calls and emails we gave up since we were there on a business trip. Water pressure was extremely low too, but I did not even bother reporting it. Very disappointed. Less email back and forth and more action would have made a huge difference.

Casa Sobe is in a great location on Collins Ave. It’s easy to find, close to the beach and great dining options. The hotel is small but rooms are spacious, spotless and comfortable. The use of a key code for entry is seamless in checking in and out of the hotel.

STAY AWAY! I strongly advise anyone considering this property to look elsewhere. Our stay was defined by a complete lack of basic amenities and some of the most unprofessional management I have ever encountered.
1. Uninhabitable Conditions & Dishonesty
Upon arrival, the unit was 55 degrees inside. When we contacted customer support regarding the lack of heat, we were told—unbelievably—that "nobody in Miami has heat." Not only is this factually false, but it was used as an excuse to ignore a basic habitability issue.
2. Terrible Customer Service
The management team was consistently rude, dismissive, and ultimately hung up on us multiple times. After initially promising a refund due to the lack of heating, they ended up denying it entirely. Even the Expedia rep we worked with noted that the property staff was "extremely rude" to them while trying to mediate.
3. Poor Value & Logistics
• The Unit: The space is extremely sterile and uninviting. It has two cheap beds, a small TV, and a fridge. It feels more like a basic, low-end dorm room than a professional rental.
• Access & Parking: Parking is a nightmare and costs an additional $40 per night. Furthermore, actually accessing the unit is difficult and poorly designed. The pictures are only for a couple of the street facing units.
Bottom line: avoid a nightmare and stay away from Casa Sobe.
