The room was very cold. Heating system was not working properly.

The shower was very cold. I turned it for 15 minutes and was still cold. The water spills out from the shower and all the bathroom becomes wet.
All Staff are very friendly and helpful.
I felt a bit sorry for the cleaning lady Zahra, who always had to clean the water that spills from the shower every morning. She was very helpful and friendly.

Thought the eating area could be cleaner & improved selection of food. Great orange juice but had to ask for it. Not always clean tables.

Rooms small but adequate for our needs. Bed was comfortable and shower was good.
Nice to have soap!

Expensive to get our wash done but convenient.

Although the reservation said my room came with a balcony it did not. The staff said the balcony rooms were full. So they basically missold what they didn't have

The hotel is located about 35-40 minutes from Jamaa el-Fnaa walking, you can take a taxi but be prepared to pay different fares there and back.
There are two reception areas, one at the rear and one at the front, it is a large property. I found the rear reception was very helpful while the front reception, were less so. The hotel employees are bilingual (which I am not ☹) and the predominant language you will hear or be addressed in is French unless of course you are or speak Arabic.
The room pictures on Expedia are not comparable, while there I do believe that the hotel was undergoing some refurbishments, to address the tried look and feel to the hotel rooms. The shower head in my room needed descaling and or replacing, the moulding around the bathtub needs removing and remoulding.
The bed was comfortable and the cleaning crew who were onsite daily were helpful.

I picked this property solely on parking being include - it was not. There is random parking in an alley but that was “full” with three cars - of course! It’s an alley! There solution was “too bad” good luck finding street parking. I had to find a parking garage during rush hour, which was insane. The property isn’t worth false advertisement and useless staff - pass on this place, with parking or not.

Again for that price you're not gonna get excellent service, but compared to others in the similar price range, this hotel beat out all its competitors. It's well located, with a good front desk service, the rooms are nice, with a little balcony area, water is clean, wifi works, and hotel has TV, serves breakfast (although not great), with a nice swimming pool that is well-lit at night. I give it an overall 4 stars, and I would stay there again if I ever go to Marrakech again.

Very pleasant but dated hotel but great value and everything in the room worked perfectly. Breakfast was standard and plentiful and staff super efficient and friendly. Pool and relaxing area a bonus, just a lovely hotel close to restaurants with cuisines to suit any pocket. People have complained about the bars on this road being noisy! I found it perfectly bearable compared to other countries. All in all a gem.

Treatment from management awful, informed outside window sliding doors did not lock, was told it would be fine not to worry. Room was not clean, curtains and bedspread had stains. Bringing water and food into the hotel was not allowed and taken away-forced to buy from the hotel. Stayed one night and moved to a safer hotel.

On the plus side the room was clean and very good value for money. Also the car they arranged to the airport the next morning was on time and very good value too.

On the downside, I had contacted the hotel a few days before arriving for a car to the airport too and got no response. Also the wifi was truly terrible, which was a real issue as I needed to check in online for the flight the next day and this became a real issue. Also noisy guests in the night, but I guess the hotel can't do much about that.

Guy on reception was nice enough and helpful but generally not enough front facing staff for a hotel of this size.

Not one night of peaceful sleep.

1. Construction drilling and hammering sandpaper everyday from 8am

2. 8 sunbeds and 20 upright chairs to over 250 guests

3. Unclean pool

4. At least a dozen stray cats and their litter roaming freely on the premises and lapping up water from the pool without any effort from staff to even shoo them away.

5. Nightclub closed

6. Sauna, Hammam, massage facilities all closed.

7. Outdated rooms, tired and falling apart

Should i really continue?

Only saving grace was hotels.com effort to help us out of this.

Hotel From Hell

This was the worst hotel stay in my life. No peace and no facilities.

This place is made of nightmares.

There was only 8 sun beds to 200 guests. There was no space around the pool but a few dozen chairs - so unless you get to the pool at 6am you don't stand a chance of having somewhere to sit until sunset.

There was construction going on throughout our stay and we were moved to a suite to apologise but there was still construction noise in the building and in our corridor starting at 8am. So we didn't have any night sleep that was peaceful and uninterrupted.

The receptionist also offered us a free breakfast then after the manager said we have to pay which was ludicrous so I said no. On the same day the receptionist said please at least pay for one person and the other is free, as apparently he's had to go into his own pocket for one of hours. Really?

The staff were very apologetic but the construction didn't stop.

We were told by the receptionist the club is open everyday so we got ready to go and it was closed. The receptionist at the front desk said oh if no one is there then it is closed. Really? But you said earlier it's open everyday.

The next day we were told that during this month and next there are no spa facilities, no Hammam, no massage, nothing. Honestly.

There was no notification on hotels.com by the hotel at the time of booking that there is ongoing construction and all the facilities are closed.

Save yourtime, burn your money instead.

Though we arranged with the hotel through email airport pick up as Marrakech was our first time destination. No reply from them and we were forced to arrange ourselves at airport to get the hotel after a long flight from Malaysia via Doha, Qatar. Upon arrival, the receptionist offered us a room which was not our preferable room and no wifi inside. Then he recommended us two separate rooms which were small and 2 single beds without wifi. Totally different from the photos on your sight. And there are no room service for the meals. We went to the restaurant and were told they can offer only set menu which cost 13euro per person... And try to get the mineral water, we were told 1.5L bottle cost 13euro as well. Of course we went out to get the water by ourselves. The restaurant boss showed us authoritarian attitude which made us very uncomfortable every breakfast time. We will never stay there again and use Expedia anymore.

Worst hotel experience for myself and my companion, who is very well-traveled. Much hassle checking in, double-charged us for the room bc they didn't know how hotels.com works, had to call a manager to charge us, showed us a room already occupied. Then upon return at night the bathtub is still full from shower and turning down the sheets reveals clump of public hair. Moved rooms but it's clear they don't clean rooms for visitors from hotels.com, the place is falling apart, and worst of all, the service can't even be called such. They don't care at all about their customers and seem to consider visitors a burden. Also much emphasis on calling my friend my sister. Cheap price for a real dump.

Good deal for the money

We had 4 days in marrakesh and we were travelling by train. This was walkable to the train station and a supermarket was behind the hotel. (good, cheap food) However, there's a rule that you're not allowed to bring outside food of any kind, including bottled water. lame. Just keep it hidden. The room was nice, quiet, clean. I was a happy traveller, especially considering the price. This place was an excellent value for the money. The drawback is that it's not close to the Medina. If you're going to spend your vacation in the Medina, get a hotel closer. If you want to see more of the outside, non-touristy areas of Marrakesh or if you're looking to take tours outside of the city, this is an excellent plan. If you don't want a long walk to the medina, go somewhere else.

Dirty room, leaky bathroom, rude staff, bed bugs, asked for one more towel at 10.30 pm, they said they would 'send one up' ... Never arrived that night or in the morning in time for showering prior to heading out to airport. When asked for a receipt the front desk looked at us as if we asked for a platinum ring!!!.

This hotel had nice gathering areas for a group including a picturesque pool area with a wall covered with vines where birds flocked to as the sun was setting creating a musical serenade to listen to. It also provided a lovely breakfast and was in a pretty good location - about a 40min walk to the main square along a main road. The room itself was a bit small and had older mattresses with sheets that did not stay on. There was also a strict policy not to bring food or drinks (including water!) into the hotel.

Average hotel, a bit rundown, but safe and clean

Oudaya is on a side street near a busy street that is convenient for catching cabs to all the popular tourist places. It isn't within walking distance of the Medina or the popular tourist spots near the Medina, but cabs are cheap. The staff was very helpful, and all spoke surprisingly good English. The hotel itself was probably very nice 20 years ago, but it is a bit rundown now. The size and quality of the rooms varies widely, so be sure to ask to see your room before you agree to staying in it. Room 11 was large, on a nice interior courtyard, and therefore fairly quiet. Room 52 was bad... the curtains blocked the a/c airflow, and if you opened them, you looked out into a small alley where hotel workers smoked on their breaks... allowing them to see right into the room. The pool area was nice, but no pool towels were offered and there weren't enough lounge chairs on a hot day. The breakfast was so-so. It included hard-boiled eggs (not all Moroccan hotels include eggs), but the OJ seemed watered down (many had great fresh-squeezed juice). A tour guide suggested we eat other meals in nearby restaurants instead of in the hotel. The small bar was quiet, definitely not a party spot, but a nice place to get a beer, wine, or hard liquor (all hard to find in Morocco). If you don't use a porter, be prepared to lug your suitcase up and down a few small staircases. There are elevators, but in one wing (Oudaya 2) you have to negotiate stairs to get to them.

An okay place to stay in the ville nouvelle

The hotel itself was of decent quality, clean and with hot water in the showers (though the shower head needed cleaning). The location was okay if you want to see the new part of the city but a bit of a hike from Djaama el F'na and the historical/cultural area. Unfortunately the staff didn't know I was booked for two nights instead of one, even after I confirmed with them at the front desk, and they phoned me at 2am the second night to ask me for my booking confirmation. 2am! And they wanted me to bring it down to them right that moment! I was quite upset about that. They finally sent someone to my room and couldn't make sense of my booking confirmation, finally they wrote down the details and left me to go back to sleep after 15min. Total incompetence.

I booked this hotel for me and 4 friends without reading any of the reviews, We arrived in Marrakech and while eating dinner a friend started to read all of the negative reviews out loud. I became very nervous as I had selected the hotel. I am pleased to say that with one exception we had a different experience than what I had read. The an who greeted us was friendly and welcoming. The facilities are beautiful and clean. It is a big hotel but by no means was it difficult to go from the desk to our rooms or to either of the two entrances. The one regret is that one friend did see a cockroach in his bathroom the second morning. For the price, the location (a 10 minute walk from the train depot), and the hammam and pool, I highly recommend this hotel.

Very yomfortable clean hotel.
Near the train (700m) station, and bus stop (#1 to Centro). A cab ride back to the hotel late at night was only 30Dh. A tour bus stop is close by and you can walk to the Jardin Majorelle if you want. (1.7km)

Good location and very friendly staff. However, the hotel needs improvement. Bed sheets were placed directly on the mattress with no mattress cover which seems very unhygenic. To conserve energy, the lights in the corridors and stairwells went out after a few minutes and had to be switched on. It was not a pleasant experience to exit one's room into a dark corridor and grope for the light switch. They should replace the switches with motion detectors.

Iskallt rum, inget varmvatten i duschen, lite tråkig personal, fåordiga och inte mkt gott på frukosten även den tråkig. Mkt oväsen av personal på bakgården där vi hade fått ett rum, tråkig utsikt eller ingen utsikt. Nä det hotellet rekommenderar jag inte

Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale.
Men hold dig langt væk fra hotellets negle salon
de flænser ens fødder op.
