My room was on the ground floor just behind reception. Although it had a window it was a stained glass one and overlooked the pool and cafe, so not very private. It was fine while it was cold though. If I was there when it is warmer I’d feel a bit hemmed in!
The bed was firm, but comfortable. The pillows were a bit lumpy though. I had a duvet and a lovely thick blanket. The shower and toilet are in the room behind a wall. Fine for me solo, but possibly not ideal for a couple. The shower was good - powerful and plenty of hot water. There was a reasonable choice at Breakfast with tasty pastries. There was a coffee machine and fridge with bottles of water in the lobby. The staff were lovely. The hotel is well located in the Gueliz area with cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. 30 minutes to walk to the medina.

The staff was wonderful. Moroccans are really good spirited people. The hotel was challenging. I starved the entire time. I didn't know the restaurant would be limited, or, I would have to be a hunter gatherer. The one dinner I got in 4 days was delicious. Tasted homemade. But they mostly served light food and breakfast. They made it clear a few times, breakfast wasn't included with my stay. I was prepared to pay for food if it wasn't. Once, was enough, and I still had to eat.

There was no airport shuttle the reason I chose that hotel. I started to pay more but the hotels I chose didn't say airport shuttles. It was my first time to Marrakesh, so, didn't know the navigation. Guests should be aware they will ask you for tax money upon arrival. Why they didn't roll it into the total cost was beyond my understanding.

Nothing was clearly outlined. Room service, eating outside food in your room or garbage cans for the outside food disposal after eating. Nor was whether you could order coffee or tea and have it delivered to your room. I will be going back to Marrakesh but getting a hotel with full amenities. The Riad itself was charming. I went to sample Moroccan food was looking forward to it. Sadly, that didn't happen.

Great location, clean, nice rooftop terrace, lots of cool seating areas, supermarket just around the corner.

Unfortunately, noisy at all times with tiny bathrooms.

they gave our room away to another individual and when we arrived the receptionist told me that \"I don't even have a room to sleep in tonight\" as if he is not the worker at the front desk.

Reminds me of that famous seinfeld episode about the car reservation, where he says \"Anybody can TAKE the reservation, you just don't know how to HOLD the reservation.\" looking for an immediate refund for this place.

Room wasn't as expected but was nice, no issues room got cleaned everyday, friendly staff, Receptionist spoke good English which helped. All round it was a pleasant stay. Pleny of cafés, Shopping, food places surrounding the hotel.

Best value there is in a great location

The value and quality are high here. My room was comfortable with beautiful Moroccan decor. The common areas were so great to do work in and the rooftop patio fantastic! I had a ground floor room and being on my own I still felt very safe. The staff are so friendly and helpful as I needed my boarding pass printed.The area is great to die restaurants and shopping as the mall is right there. I highly recommend this hotel as you get so much for what you pay for. I’ll be back for sure.

Excellent standards at a reasonable cost.

Toulousain is a nice surprise, a clean and comfortable hotel at a very reasonable price. The greatest privilege is convenient location in Marrakech's modern area of Gueliz, so close to the train and coach stations, with plenty of restaurants and cafés within easy reach. Marrakech's traditional attractions in the great place of Jemaa Lefnaa are a 5 mins taxi ride or a bit longer on a horse drawn carriage. It is a lovely walk too if you you love on foot sightseeing.

The hotel was terrible, no safety for children, the showers were blocked non draining, no towels. No room cleaning, no bins around, you go with children they want to play in pool, but certain staff have faces on when children are splashing in pool. Gotta keep shushing kids cause staff have faces when playing in court yard.
No dressing table, flooring had broken tiles. Baby slipped cause constantly wet floor due to drains being blocked, bust a lip. No toilet roll have to keep asking at reception.
We booked two family rooms only one was a family room. No specious in bathroom. Dust every where in cupboards an floor was dirty all the time. U become dirty there. Constant music at night near night club's. Ppl fighting at 5 6 in morning an no one bats a eye lid.

The place was comfortable enough to sleep, but the housekeeping was a mess. I was told there would be daily housekeeping but the rooms were only cleaned once, we also had to go to the reception to ask for towels and toilet paper. We were alsp asked to pay 320 dirhams upon arrival as tax, but when I did the booking I was informed that I only have £18 due at the property. I tried explaining this to the staff but they really couldn't get me. Overall, it was a nice experience but I am never going back.

The facility is a bit eclectic but what it lacks in amenities, it makes up for with its old world charm and friendliness of the staff. Plus it is located close enough to the action of the city but not too close to hear all of the noise and bustle. If you are looking for a clean, safe affordable place this is it. But don't expect a western-style hotel.

An economical hotel with a breakfast courtyard in a quiet street quite close to the Majorelle garden. Our room looked nice and everything was very clean and we had every thing we needed. The location is good if you want to see the beautiful modern city too outside the medina with its beautiful trees and parks and want a break from the medina. We walked to the medina in about 10 to 15 minutes each day. We arrived in Marrakesh at the main bus station and it was a 15 minute walk from there. Leaving, it took just 10 minutes to get a cheap taxi to the airport to fly home. The 24 hour reception was also very useful. We feel that this hotel suited us well for our short stay in Marrakesh.

Good stay and very good location.. Staff very friendly..
Just ...What a Pity you cannot take your girlfriend (if Marocco cityzen)without marriage contract.. which make the stay more complicated and more expansive and if Marrakesh original..NO WAY.. At all... ( This isn't only here but all Hotel some exceptional are more flexible but the risk is important)
Otherwise all good here..

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. The weather was cold and rainy and we were grateful for the heater in the room, something we didn’t find in other places we stayed in Morocco of similar price. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet with a good shower. The breakfast was basic but lovely with freshly squeezed juice, pastry, bread, and great coffee. As the weather was chilly we sat in a pretty room off a lovely courtyard where people would sit in better weather.

Great stay

We stayed for one night at Hotel Toulousain. It was perfect, as it is winter in Morocco and it can be very cold (also inside houses), we were very happy to have a heater inside our room. Also, the shower was very hot.

Room was comfortable and looked cosy. Employees could speak a little bit of English but were always friendly.

The location was perfect for us, just a 15 minute walk from the railway station and convenient to take a taxi to the airport. It's not in the old medina but we didn't want to stay there.

Wifi worked good. Breakfast was not that special but good. Breakfast is served outside in the courtyard and with just 8 degrees that was a bit too cold for us.

This is not a hotel, i am surprised, how Expedia, have such hotel online, the stuff were not helpful, i found the hotel vary dirty, he said washing machine doesn't work, when i checked in they give me a dirty towel in reception, there was nothing else in the shop, i was lucky to have my own shampoos and tissues, terrible terrible, please avoid going there, if you searching for a hotel.

I loved the decor! The tall windows, practically floor to ceiling and high ceilings, with beautiful stained glass windows! The quaint courtyard right outside my window was so peaceful and relaxing. I only regret I wasn’t there longer.

A nice stay!

The rooms are nice and the staff is friendly. The breakfast is good and Cindy the cat is lovely! I especially enjoyed the terraces which are shielded from the sun by hanging vines. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend.

My room was very dark and outdated. The linens are old, the bath towels were very scratchy and old, the bath mat felt sticky and really grossed me out. It's just old and dated. No issues with bugs, but it just did not feel clean and welcoming. There was no shampoo, conditioner, body soap or hand soap in my room. The desk agent didn't speak good English which led to some misunderstandings. It was definitely not worth the money, since there are many competing hotels nearby that were very comparable in price. I felt like I was very misled by the reviews/ratings I had read for this place.

The people in the hotel make it a great stay. It's the area I have a problem with at night but nice for shopping in the day. At night it's a red light area, and could be dangerous too. But the people and the hotel is amazing.

Great location in the \"new town\" (Gueliz) of Marrakech with a shopping center and lots of nice restaurants (also local and cheap) around. Quick check-in, beautiful rooms with traditional decoration, quiet because on a small street in the backyard, friendly staff. Just the bathroom was not separated from the bedroom so you need to be very close and not afraid of sharing private noises. Otherwise there is also a bathroom outside in the lobby area.

Stort rum som var lite spartanskt inrett. Sängen var i hårdaste laget; föll hälften av sällskapet i smaken och den andra halvan inte. Fina utemiljöer med en liten pool och några få solsängar. Takterassen var inget speciellt och ser inte ut som på bilderna. Personalen var hjälpsam och trevlig. Bra tryck i duschen uppskattades.

Nous somme arrivé à minuit et devions partir à 8h du matin.
On nous a fait payé la nuitée pour notre fille de 6 alors que habituellement à Marrakech on nous fait pas payer.
Exemple la nous somme à l’hôtel IBN BATOUTA très bon accueil pas de supplément pour notre fille et hôtel tres propre

Room 17. Stinky smell in the room. The Wi-Fi signal is very weak. Smartphone's own data also has weak signals. The floor doesn't drain well in the shower. The shower detergent is empty. Especially the stink in the room is the worst. But the staff was kind. I stayed only one day.

Un jour à l Hôtel Toulousain.

J'ai loué 2 chambres dans cet hôtel lors de mes déplacements à Marrakech et j ai apprécié cet hôtel que je vais recommander à mes amis et connaissances. Très bien situé, pratique. Personnel très courtois, chaleureux, à l'écoute. J y retournerai d ailleurs lors de mes prochains séjours à Marrakech en fonction des places disponibles bien sûr. Merci au personnel pour leurs attentions, discrétion et compétences
