Not a 4 star it is more like a 2 star. Poorly cleaned and looked after. Air con did not work, swapped rooms and also did not work.
Checked out after 2 days and found altrrnative accommodation.

I Will be BACK. The fantastic staff & service

Exceeded my expectations. I don't understand the poor reviews, this is not the Four Seasons Hotel? From my arrival to departure, staff were consistently helpful and professional. My room was beautiful and very clean. The bathroom was immaculately clean with a powerful shower. Breakfast was adequate, dinner was more than I could eat, the buffet night was amazingly delicious. I enjoyed my time relaxing by the spacious pool area. Overall, I'm completely satisfied. Special thanks to Hassan and Aziz at reception. My cleaning lady too.

Not a bad place and close to everything.

During check in I waited for about 12 minutes at the reception desk. I looked around and I saw a guy eating his dinner then made a hand gesture that he would assist me in a minute. Obviously that he saw me first when I arrived and he didn’t even approach me until I saw him.
Breakfast buffet was good for for about $9.00. Locations is close to everything and plenty of restaurants around the area.
Bed was comfortable and they cleaned it everyday except for the wall outside the bathroom is moldy and the bathroom has no shampoos and lotion available.
Also, when I ordered the beer at the restaurant, the front desk guy charged me extra 10 dirham per bottle. The second night I ordered beer again I asked the waiter and told me the prices is always the same or 10 Dirham lesser than the first time I ordered it.

Upon arriving at our room, we immediately noticed that the lamps were not functioning. We contacted reception, and they moved us to another room on the same floor.

Later that evening, around 11:00 PM, we discovered that the window could not be closed, leading to significant noise from the street. We reached out to reception again, but instead of receiving prompt assistance, we experienced delays and unhelpful responses.

Additionally, the room was only stocked with essentials for two guests, despite our reservation being for four. When we requested additional supplies, we were met with vague and inconsistent answers, which made the situation even more frustrating.

Overall, the service fell far below expectations. A hotel should provide functional amenities, proper accommodations, and reliable customer service. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements for future guests.

Upon arriving at our room, we immediately noticed that the lamps were not functioning. We promptly contacted reception, and they relocated us to another room on the same floor.

Later that evening, around 11:00 PM, we discovered that the window could not be closed, resulting in excessive noise from the street. Once again, we had to contact reception. However, instead of providing proper assistance, the staff repeatedly lied to us.

One particular receptionist, a lady, displayed a complete lack of professionalism, lying without hesitation. Additionally, the room was only stocked with towels and toilet paper for two guests, despite our reservation being for four. When we requested the necessary supplies, the same receptionist responded with yet another blatant lie, showing no regard for honesty or guest satisfaction.

This level of service is entirely unacceptable. We expect a hotel to provide basic functionality, honesty, and proper accommodations. I urge management to address these issues and ensure that future guests do not encounter the same unacceptable treatment.

Stayed in this property during my stay in Marrakesh, staff was welcoming, explained how to get around Marrakesh to me. The room was perfect as the cleaner was always there every morning to clean and change beddings. Restaurant staff was lovely and friendly and over they made my stay here a one to remember and will definitely be back. Only little issue I had was my wifi connection wasn’t too great in my room but over still goof

The bathroom wasnt cleaned properly, there was rust on the taps, old and stained toilet seats,
The rooms no no way soundproof at all, the balcony door didn't close properly.
The seating in the restaurant had paint and tears on them, very dated.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and i was very satisfied with them.

Tell us to go to room 618 but suitcases to room 209.
Renovation all day, hammering. Asked reception when it would be finished. He lied, and said it was the neighbour. But it was in the hotels 1. Floor. Good they are renovating, because everything needed.
The beds was ok and there was hot water.
It is defenately not a 4 star hotel. Lot of noise from other guests and the street.

This hotel was a massive disappointment

When we arrived although we had booked and pre-paid there was no room for us. They put us in a taxi to another hotel for 1 night. Note we had to pay the taxi!! We then returned the next day and stayed for 2 nights before we decided enough was enough and moved for the last two nights of our stay. So, what was wrong? Service terrible, rooms old and dirty, breakfast and dinner no good. Beds uncomfortable. Outside space looked nice but in reality there were only 5 beds that got the sun. These went first thing in the morning and the people who had them were not giving them up for anything, everybody else was forced to sit in the shade. Only good thing about this hotel was the location and the excursion lady. In summary, if you want a little bit of outside sunny space and a clean, comfortable room, which when paid for is available for you, don’t bother with this hotel. We spent our last 2 nights in the Radisson Blue, clean, comfortable, excellent service, fantastic breakfast and an even better location.

Worst service ever !!!

Had a 5 night stay here and as soon as I walked in a regretted booking the place. They firstly didn't even have my reservation in the system so I had to wait 1 hour until this was sorted out. We booked a double room but we ended up with a twin room instead. The hotel spelt of cigarettes and it was pretty filthy. On the day of departure I went down to reception (as the phones in half of the hotel wasn't working apparently) to request for some fresh towels and shower gel as this wasn't replaced when the room was serviced. They said everything is closed so they couldn't provide me with anything at all.

Horrendous experience, keep away.

Took a long time to check in but mainly because of out arrival time, hotel needs a bit of tlc but rooms were clean and cleaned daily. Reception staff, housekeeping and the tour guide could not of been more helpful. Lots of local restaurants within 10 minute walk all serving cheap and tasty meals.

I do not recommend this property for so many reasons
1. Rude staff
2. This motel lies about the conditions of this property and look nothing like online
3. Internet horrible
4. The staff will turn off electricity in the sitting area if you charge your phone there
5. Made difference in customers/ I and my son visited the pool area several times and watched them offer drinks to other guests yet not one time they ask.

Good staff, Rooms are clean but delipidated, i.e. cracked floor tiles, shower covered in scale. It must have been nice when it opened, but no work at all has been done on it since then.

Food is subpar and not Moroccan, except on Fridays when we had good local inspired dishes. Otherwise, only the shop bought desserts are worth paying for. Breakfast is same everyday, basic pastries, nothing special. You get what you pay for - this hotel can be found for very cheap.

I would put it at 2-star.

The pool and garden was gorgeous and the hotel had a lovely bar. There was some noise on a Friday night from the bar, but it quieted down by bedtime. The view from the balcony was beautiful. My bed was wonderful and the bathroom was clean and spacious.

Also, when I Enter the hotel the keep asking me my room number, Guess what am i in military ?

1st day, charged me hotel tax of 100Dh when it should have been half as much, room tv has 10 channels, 1 english 24hr news and very fuzzy. Air con/ heater is a hit and miss, didnt work for 2days, then suddenly works for one and then stops again. Room balcony has no lock so anyone can climb in. No towels provided for two days, head and shoulders mini tester in the bath room. Bed sheets had stains and so did the towels, and the beds are not double size, pictures very misleading, they are normal single beds. No fridge in the room, so no cold drinks in the room. One good thing i can mention is you always get hot water. They have 2 lifts, both really small and can only fit 2 people at a time. Ive been in marrakesh 15 times, this was the worst out them all. Location is good, near Mc D, 30min walk to jamma el fina. Swimming room pretty average size.

The only reason I would rate this hotel as “okay” is because they upgraded us. The first room we stayed in (think 219) was terribly dirty, from the lights to the bathroom. All the toilets seemed to be separated from the bathroom too which was interesting. In 219 we was facing the street and it seemed that their reason for not having our booked room was because of the time we arrived (about 11pm). They saw our faces drop so they assured we would be moved in the morning, which even took some time after constant asking. This was also a little inconvenient because we could not fully unpack/relax. Tv didn’t even work in this room. One bed had a blanket the other had a sheet for covers??

When we were moved (room 114) this room was a lot better, brighter, and with more amenities. We had a mini fridge, a functioning tv, and a lot less dirt so we felt a lot more comfortable in this room. We also has a long sofa/resting chair, and we were facing out to the pool.

This is not a 4* hotel. Not sure how they decide their star ratings in Morocco but having visited Morocco before and staying in another hotel a bit further from the centre which was 4*, it was a HUGE difference.

Location is amazing. We enjoy exploring and were able to walk to the Médina, with food shops around the corner and we were very close to Marrakech station which is lovely to look at.

Swimming pool is great, breakfast isn’t worth it.

The young man on reception was very helpful. The hotel needs a good clean.Bathroom needs to be replaced. The bath wasnt what I would call clean at all.
The area was very good close to the hop on hop off bus which Inwouldnt recommentd as only one bus . Train just around the corner. Plenty of restaurants not far away.

The front office conflicting . Manager rude but staff fabulous.
The hotel needs a good clean. Breakfast is basically bread and jam , coffee and orange juice. Very near the train station, a 5 min walk and the hop on hop off bus is very close by. Stop 17&18. No phone service . Plus, the bus to the airport leaves from the station .

Terrible hotel,

I really complain, or criticise anything, but IMPERIAL HOTEL was the worset experience I'vs had in the past, I only spent 1 night , and I left to an other hotel, I couldn't take it at all.
It should be categorised as 0 🌟..
I really do not recommend it.

This is not a clean hotel, dirty towels, repulsive bathrooms, horrible staff, they charged me twice for the guest tax because they didn't keep track of the payment. The hotel and I use the term loosely shows preferential treatment towards families and elderly. As such I was told I can't use my air conditioner because it was bothering the neighbours. 2pm check in, I got to watch as 18 other people got their rooms first even tho I was actually their in line by 12pm I didn't get in to my room till about 4pm.

This is a great city to visit with alot to see, do not ruin your stay just because this place is cheap. The fact that it is in a great location may seem like a great Idea, but don't be fooled there are places much better literally down the road.

If you are planing on staying here for more than 1 night DON'T.

Rooms do not look like picture, staff was not helpful at all. In my room toilet did not work, air conditioner did not work properly, seems like room was not cleaned in a few days. Room phone did not work. Maintenance took over 2 hours to show up to fix the problems. Was unable to fix the air conditioner, and phone. When I requested to change my room they refused.

This is not a good place if you are just looking for a bed for the night I highly recommend go to a cheaper place.

Absolutely diabolical! Staff were pleasant enough but I honestly I wouldn't want to stay in there even if you paid me - we cancelled our reservation immediately after seeing the room. The standard is definitely not 4 star and it looks nothing like the pictures online. It is very old, run down and neglected. The sheets and pillow cases were stained and looked as if they haven't been washed. The towels were gray to the point I was too disgusted to touch them. All the surfaces were covered in a thin layer of grime and dust. The loose electical cables sticking out of sockets and light switches. The light fixures above the bed look like they were going to fall on someone's head. We felt it was unsafe to stay there due to this poor level of upkeep and low level of hygiene additionally to the area itself being very dodgy and in the poor area of the city centre.

We booked room 521 and was totally different as it was mentioned at the time of booking and hotel staff totally rubbish. They do not care about any thing lights are not working AC is rubbish in rooms no TV Chenals for kids. Room services are totally jocke.

Okay but not the greatest

Location of hotel was good cery central but deffinitely did not fit the idea of 4*. One of the days we got told there is no running water!!! Breakfast was always a bunch if croissants nothing else. Only good thing about the hotel was the excursions lady who was so sweet and friendly and offered us the greatest excursions!! If anything I'd recommend people to pop in and speak to her - her name was Nadia.

We had originally booked a room for two adults and one child, when we arrived however the room only had two single beds, there were no extra pillows available to us and when we asked for a pillow we never got one. As well as this, the air conditioning wasn't working and when we wanted to open the window, the music from the bar below us was too loud. Furthermore, we were told the breakfast started at 7 however when we went down there were only croissants and coffee available to us. The customer service was horrendous due to this I will never stay there again.
