Staffing! I had such a disappointing experience with rhe staff. When I checked in, I paid the taxes due and paid for my airport shuttle. Upon checkout, the staff member told me I owed money. I corrected him. He became argumentative and then showed me the receipt. The receipt was for a DIFFERENT GUEST and then he acted like it was no big deal. Then, he asked for money AGAIN. I told him he had the wrong guest portfolio! I was getting upset and worried that there wouldn’t be a shuttle. It arrived late because the staff member at check in scheduled the wrong time. I was really stressed out and not a great way to begin a 24 hour travel day. Will never stay at this hotel again! Incompetent and rude staff members!!!!

However, several aspects were less than ideal: the reserved parking for guests was not available, and the water pressure was exceptionally low. Furthermore, despite my request for a queen-sized bed, the room provided two twin beds pushed together, resulting in a noticeable indentation in the center.

The room was clean and tidy, not a double as i expected but a triple with 3 single beds. As a lone traveller you get used to that.
Breakfast buffet was varied and of good quality.
I didnt try the pool but it looked clean and inviting.
The rooftop terrace was the jewel of the hotel in my view, nice for drinks and atmosphere but my food the first night was overcooked with a dried out sauce and the spices dried to the point only salt was discernable.
i ate out the next two nights.

Had an excellent stay at Hotel Amani. My luggage was lost and delayed in arriving. The front desk staff was very helpful in helping me secure emergency items, including a plug adapter to charge my North American devices in European outlets. Hamza at the front desk was especially calming and resourceful. He later proved as knowlegeable as he was amicable. Thumbs up!
Also, you get to enjoy 2 restaurants on the ground floor, one Asian and the other Moroccan fusion. Both were excellent. Breakfast was included and excellent and convenient as well. This is a very well located hotel: 30 mins walk to the medina, 20 to Guéliz, 5mins to the train station. 👍

My stay here was lovely. All the staff were super helpful and the Karma restaurant/cafe did not disappoint. My favorite part of the stay was the Hammom massage by the very talented, beautiful, strong & lovely Layla. I had to book two massages because they were phenomenal.

Highly recommend this hotel, it was a last minute decision as I was originally booked in the Medina, but didn’t want the hassle. The hotel is extremely clean and staff welcoming. I did ask for a quiet room but ended up on the street side which was a bit noisy but that’s because I wanted a double bed. The doors are double glazed so it was not a problem in the end. Close to the rail station and for me not too far of a walk to the Medina.

The reception up front was courteous, professional and helpful. The junior suite was solid, with no frills, but most everything worked. It would be nice if they offered a cart to facilitate check in. Surely they can provide this courtesy?

Karma Cafe was good for breakfast, and the staff was attentive. The options for breakfast were the same every morning, and it would have been nice to have more flexible menu options.

The Amani hotel is located in reasonable proximity to most of the attractions in Marakech.

It was absolutely fantastic 4 nights ,5 days. Friendly, helpful and smiling staff. Room is cleaned, spacey and sophisticated. Value for money.
The restaurant is fairly priced and nice food served for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The location of the hotel is superb. Easy walking distances to everywhere. Plenty parking spaces around and cheap parking .
The hotel is taking fantastic safety measurements against covid , feel so comfortable at all times.
I will definitely recommend anyone here for safe and comfortable trip for great value for the money. Absolutely going to book again on my next trip .

Superb Hotel.

The Hotel Amani more than exceeded my expectations. From the welcome at reception, to the superb room, with every amenity you could wish for. I was booked in for 2 nights, but unfortunately, I had to leave after one night in order to leave Morocco before all the flights stopped operating, due to the Coronavirus problem. However, one day I will return to Marrakech, and will definitely stay in the Amani.

If you want to have a wake up call of a demolition excavator under your room - you found it!
And a 'manager' has the audacity to point to some handwritten 'notice' that was pasted in the elevator... as an alert that absolves them of any inhospitality ...and if we'd like to have some mint tea to make up for all that inconvenience!!!! Maybe look for someplace under a bridge!!What a spoiler after 2 weeks of perfect Moroccan hospitality ..,!!!

Very Homey Hotel with Great Restaurant

We chose this hotel because it is close to the train station but it offered much more than convenience. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The firmness of the bed in our room was not what we prefer which is why I marked it down slightly for comfort but that is not a failing of the hotel but a personal preference on our part. The restaurant was a good place to relax after a long day of sightseeing and the food was reasonably priced and tasty. The restaurant has two levels, one on the terrace and one at ground level. We highly recommend the hotel as a quiet, homey place to stay in Marrakesh.

Staff were excellent, and the rooms were very nice with good WiFi. Only issue with room was the beds were like lying on concrete. Food was amazing, we had pizzas, pasta, and sandwiches. Only negative here was breakfast, nothing was labelled, so had no idea what was in each dish/bowl. Not good for people who don't want any meat products in their food

Wish it had gone better

Be forewarned that this hotel can be quite noisy if you value sleep. Guests seem to love to slam the doors and that sound reverberates down every hallway. There is a rooftop terrace that is open to the public until midnight. These rooftop visitors often use the staircases and their loud voices contain not an ounce of respect for guests trying to sleep. When I spoke the the hotel about this, there was very little concern because as they said “these are our customers”. Also, a nearby bar/disco pumps up the wall-rumbling bass every night about 11 pm and the so-called soundproof windows do nothing to soften the assault.
A pleasant shower in the morning was more often than not trying to avoid the blasts of cold water that interrupted the hot water.
Each room has a phone. Ours did not work for the last 3 days of our stay even though it was reported to desk staff daily and we were assured it would be fixed.
The breakfast buffet was good but the problem was that the items were infrequently and slowly replenished.The coffee machine also provided rather insipid coffee.
The hotel listing also claims there is free bottled water. Desk staff and a management representative said that it did not say “daily”. We are talking about a 33ml bottle of water to brush one’s teeth. This is also about health. They also claimed that hotels.com put that in and it doesn’t mean “free” bottled water daily.
Reason was beyond management’s understanding and the only result was frustration.

Beautiful interior, very helpful staff and convenient cafe serving meals. Got a pool and some lovely areas to chill.
Only issue is noise: every scraping chair and conversation reverberates through the building so an early night is not easy. Might be helpful to put up something to deaden the echoes and insulate the doors.

Very nice hotel room, with nice lil balcony to street. Quiet room, exept they were doing some seasonal preparations on the roof above us so there were some noise to our room from it, but nothing too bad. (4th floor is the last floor with rooms) The pool area looks comfy, ice cold water on February tho so we didnt swim. Nice staff, and the cafe on the ground floor offers decent meals and very good mint tea!

got to the hotel checked in fine, went to our room to find they had given us someone else's Room key. this was concerning as the door key also had the safe key on for your room.
the hotel says they change currency but they won't change Stirling only euros. there is no guest area in the hotel where you can just sit an relax there was a seating area opposite the reception desk but if there wasn't things for sale covering them is was people sleeping on them. if you speek French you will be ok here all the signs are French and the staff speek very little English. the location is great but I would choose another hotel in the area.

Hotel itself could do with a little work. Bathroom facilities 2/10... All doors in suite need looking at (impossible to open and close)... Lighting in the rooms were also poor... Could hardly see anything.

But overall, communication before I travelled there was excellent. 1 or 2 staff let the whole team down, otherwise... Lovely people.

Would stay there again, only if its a short holiday and cheaper price.

Perfectly Located Accomodation

My husband and I visited in February for 7 days and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is decorated beautifully, very clean and comfortable. There was a safe in the room to keep valuables. there was also a mini fridge and kettle. The hotels wifi worked well while we were there and we didn't have any problems with the speed.

The hotel is in a great location 5 minutes walk to the train station 10 minutes walk to Menara mall 20 walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa the main square and market place in Marrakesh's medina quarter. Taxis are reasonably priced and it cost us 50 dirham for a cab to Jemaa el-Fnaa, El Badi Palace and Bahia Palace but do negotiate the price before getting in the taxi.

We ate at the hotel restaurant a few times and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. My husband enjoyed the mixed grill and my calamari was delicious.

Overall a great stay, my only suggestion would be a DO NOT DISTURB sign for the bedroom door because we were so comfortable we had long lay-ins and the cleaner would knock to see if we were in.

Cheeky staff in hotel i dont like as they think we dont know about the money as city tax suppose to be £15 for 2 person but staff manager name hassan at hotel taken £20 note and did not return £5 or dirham back? Till he never say hi or look at me for 10 days because he has a shame he have no face to show then on the day we go back to uk the hotel staff gave a paper for city tax price receit the price is 220 dirhams about £15pounds!!!! I was right !!! I cant forget that and cleaning people was too lazy not bother to put tea coffee in room also room with dark paint colour with very small lights which i dont like also my daughter cant find her sunglass as we believe that cleaning staff one of them steal sunglass as we r sure that is not lost anywhere as we keep in room but cant find anywhere in room what a patheic staff people at amani hotel appart some not helpful only they want money money all time

Hotel staff were superb. Really good stay, can't fault it. Room with a city view and balcony. The terrace is amazing. Good location near the centre. Train station, coach station,theatre, congress palace nearby. Western shops and macdonalds nearby.

Good and drink available til late in the hotel restaurant. I didn't use the hotel restaurants or facilities because food outside is cheaper and more choice of local foods, try a tanjina or fish near macdonalds.

But I can say it was a pleasure to stay there and the price made it even better.

I LOVE the rooftop terrace!

Very friendly staff in all parts of the hotel, interesting mosaics and décor throughout the hotel and a wonderful rooftop terrace - in the evening they play chill-out music and you can order dinner up there or, if you prefer, just relax. A lovely sanctuary from the craziness and traffic of the city.

Hotel is in a nice part of Marrakech. Has a nice plunge pool and room was comfortable. Staff however are almost resentful when you need assistance that is slightly demanding of their time. We were kept waiting at the airport when we arrived and had to call several times to get them to send their driver - which we had previously arranged. The food at the restaurant is average. They did arrange a guide for us and he was very helpful.

I stayed over the Christmas period for 1 week. The hotel is in a lovely part of town and within walking distance of the Medina, 20-25 mins or €3-4 by taxi.
The hotel is very well maintained. Our twin room was comfortable and clean. However, the single beds could be a little bigger. Breakfast is served from 7-11 and is quite good. There is a heated pool which was a nice surprise.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. You will stay in a lot of hotels before you find better staff.
Tours can be organised from the hotel wilt a local operator named Jamaal. We took two tours and were very impressed. Jamaal is a great guy with lots of local information, I would highly recommend him for a tour.
Loved my stay in Morocco, and will probably return.

Det var fantastiskt med fina kvinnliga personal, värdigt bra bemötande. Men Tyvärre när vi kom upplevda oss en diskriminering av personalen som jobbade. Väntar ca 15 minuter utan något som frågade oss. Resten hotell är fint bra frukost.

Chambres non faites a 17h ! Taies d'oreillers et linge de toilette a installer soi même car déposés sur le lit sans etre mis à leur place ! Acceuil mediocre ! Relativement bruyant ! Petit dejeuner correct MAIS avec des patisseries rassies ! Les assiettes du petit dejeuner debarassées alors que vous etes encore en train de manger !!!

Nous avons passé quatre nuits dans l’hôtel avec un enfant de deux ans.
Chambre très propre personnel, très gentil. L’hôtel est bien placé à environ 10 minutes de l’aéroport et environ 10 minutes de la Médina.
Nous avons pu faire des choses à pieds ( Mall Ménara ) proche de la Gare ( KFC / McDo ) à pieds 5 min.
Je me suis fait coiffé dans le salon de coiffure de l’hôtel ! Top

Hotel with good location but with noisy feeling

Poor soundproofing and very disturbing strange noises late night every day. Breakfast quite modest and not always ready at 7 as promised. Location of the hotel was good with lot of restaurants within walking distance.

Virkelig hyggeligt sted, med en hjemlig atmosfære og meget venligt personale. Værelset var forholdsvist simpelt, men havde hvad vi skulle bruge. Caféen i bunden og restauranten på taget var begge skønne. Morgenbuffeten var fin, dog var nogle brød og pandekager ret tørre, men det er en lille ting i forhold til alt andet der var godt.
