Reception staff was really bad the first day I checked in staff unprofessional he told me he will send a baby court but they never gave it after 3 days we had to share a bed 3 people I told them many times at leave give us a room with 2 beds plus we had to change the room 3 times heater not working and bad smells will never go back to that garbage hotel again .

Terrible hotel, this is the only hotel ever I didn’t even stay. Waste my money I left right away. Room likes a prison. Dark, small, looks dirty. The manager not even try to understand why I’m leaving. She was rude. If I can, I give 0 points over 10.

Dated property with very low lighting. Everything in the room was aged and down to the very basics. We didn't get enough towels for our family of 5 and our telephone wasn't working. I had to go all the way downstairs and request more towels and it took time for them to bring them to us.

Really disappointed with the condition of the hotel as many of the amenities the room supposed to have was not there. The AC was not working none of the rfamily oom and there was not running water facilities most of the nights-only hot water was available and obviously it was too hot.We were travelling with small children and had early morning excursions trips booked Showerhead was broken along with the holder. Had a terrible time overall. Had to pay a very high price due short period booking but it's not a value for money. Need big time upgrades.

Great location but needs total renovation.

We booked a room for 4 persons, two adults and a three years old and a 8 months baby. The first room they gave hade one bedroom with two separate beds. Had to tell them to correct it, they fixed however quickly. The second room had no towels. 30 minutes we had to wait to get towels.

The front desk staff was kind and supportive but the cleaning staff was inconsistent. The amenities were subpar (no microwave, just a hot plate, and no oven). But, the hotel itself had a calm atmosphere and a great location. Overall I would rate it a 3/5.

Accomodation was far better than i expected. Its a new property. Staff were friendly. If i remember his name was Yaseed. He took care of our requests. The other guy came to me to show me shop nearby. Flat had a fridge, over, kitchen utensils, washing machine... Huge space for a family. I am really impressed with my stay. The flat was at Palmier near to a pizza shop called Cucina Napoli. And also walkable distance from Palmier clinique(if someone wants to get taxi from Railway station). Thank you Palmier residence for your hospitality.

DO NOT! The apartment was terrible. We paid for 6pax but got a 4pax. I’m pretty sure they overcharged us on the local taxes too.
The property was seriously run down.
Rooms - very dark and dingy, they do not look like the photos. Could hear everything.
Kitchen - the electric sockets and wires all fall off when you unplug. Fridge wasn’t working properly. The utensils not clean. The cabinet doors hanging on single hinges.
Bathroom - toilet would constantly get blocked even with the toilet paper they provided. No hand towels, no floor mat, the shower leaked out. Hot water and the shower power was the only thing going for this accommodation.
Cleanliness - they wouldn’t clean anything just made the beds. We had to ask them to take out the rubbish (from takeaway we ordered). Strangely they’d detach the shower head and leave it like that. Only provided with 3 towels for 5 people, took ages to bring up any towels.
Not stayed in anything as terrible as this. Don’t be deceived by the photos and even the reception area, the rooms and service is terrible!

Terrible! Go Elsewhere.

There isn’t much good. The property looks nice outside, but the inside is not kept up. My reservation for a one-bedroom apartment was not honored because “we are sold out”, even though they were still selling that option when I got to my room and googled it. The “kithchenette” had one uncorking hot plate, no dishes, glasses, utensils, and one small pot. No microwave.

Don’t stay here. I never would again.

The hotel is extremely outdated, with all the furniture and amenities showing their age. There was no bottled water provided, and the room’s lighting was inadequate. The bedsheets were dirty, and the staff were unhelpful. The toilet flush button was broken, and the shower curtain was old and discolored. While the location is convenient, the overall experience inside the hotel was disappointing. I would not recommend staying here.

Avoid this hotel. The AC does not work - blows out warm air - cracked tiles and broken furniture's. Some door handles are half missing. Only people we saw there are locals - they are used to the heat. When we complained they moved us to different rooms with same result. We complained to expedia for refund so we can book elsewhere - we had to spend one night and it was a nightmare. Drenched in our sweat and awake from mosquitoes buzzing in our ears. Upon leaving the hotel tried to scam us - not refunding our city tax. I had to personally get the calculator out to convince them - twist their arms to refund us. Avoid this hotel if you can.

I wish I believed them, as sometimes you think, it can’t possibly be THAT BAD. But… IT IS. AND WORSE. The photos you see on the website, must be edited or taken when the hotel first opened. The exterior of the hotel is ‘nice’ compared to what you are met with inside. The hotel staff are lovely, professional and welcoming. That is the ONLY positive I can give you.
I wish i took more photo’s. I would avoid this hotel if you have a family with small children or toddlers. There are genuine open bare wires and sockets just hanging out. The door handle, as we walked into our room, just came off in my hand. With the pin/screw just facing forward staring at you for anybody to get stabbed.
We came with an 11 month old, who is still on formula milk. You are not given a clean kettle, the kettle had bright red and orange rust inside. We went to the convenience store and purchased all the cleaning products to clean everything we use. The kettle was not salvageable, so we put that to one side and had to boil the water, on a saucepan. The saucepan was actually brand new, so we cleaned it and used it. No sponges are provided, no washing up liquid, no kitchen towels, no hand wash. Zero. Zilch. We stayed for 8 days so we had to purchase everything. You are not even given a microwave, and no washing machine. The cups given, were glass water cups. No mugs for tea. They were also rusty and orange at the bottom. I managed to salvage those by scrubbing and disinfecting those as I bought my baby’s

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! The most horrible hotel ever didnt sleep the whole night i was there. Toilet seat and flush was broken. Ac didnt work at all put the heating on cold air was coming out was freezing all night. The fridge was making weird noises the hotel room is absolutely disgusting not family friendly at all. I would never go back there im so disgusted. Tried to get a refund back but the hotel wasnt answering calls from expedia team therefore didnt recieve anything. Customer service was bad from both expedia and the hotel. DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL. I hope it closes down very soon as its a very unsafe environment

I know you get what you paid for, but also the conditions were a little bit rough.
Not enough plugs on the property, remote controllers without batteries, but the biggest issue was the cold, if you going there during winter it's gonna sucks, people who works their are courteous and helpfull nothing to say about that.

To put it plainly, our stay was far from satisfactory. The cleanliness of our room was subpar, with noticeable issues like doors falling apart and wire exposure in the kitchen. The condition of the boiler was also concerning, as it seemed to be at risk of collapsing. Given these circumstances, we made the difficult decision to check out early and did not stay for the entire duration of our reservation.

I regret to inform you that this experience has left a lasting negative impression on us. As frequent travelers, we value the importance of a comfortable and safe accommodation, which unfortunately was not met during our stay at your hotel.

My wife and I came in late from the airport with a pounding headache but they would not even offer a bottle of water. They suggested we walk a few blocks to a store to buy one. After some pleading they took 20 durams and said they would buy one for us. But they forgot and never came. A few hours later i had to go get the water myself.

We booked Mogador Menzah based on the pictures on the booking site and we had also stayed at Mogador Opera where we had a fantastic time but sadly learnt Opera had closed down. Menzah is in urgent need of refurbishment, when we checked into our room we noted the walls were freshly painted however there were serious safety issues such as 2 wall sockets were broken and were hanging off. Children could have easily touched the live wires, the shower cubicle had broken glass doors and all water would spill into the bathroom when having a shower, the fridge was burnt out on top, the handle to bathroom was broken so you could not open the door from inside. The worst was the room was crawling with ants near the front door and back door to the balcony. The location is not suitable for families with young children. It is 2-3 mins walk from the main road and there are no street lighting and pavement is made of sand/stones so can be dangerous and messy if walking in the rain to the hotel. The spa facilities were closed and only a continental paid breakfast on offer. I do hope the management of the hotel read my review and take urgent action to fix this hotel as Menzah does let the rest of the Mogador chain down. On a positive note we found all of the staff at the Menzah to be very helpful and friendly.

Very poor standard and hotel needs updating.
Rooms very basic, doors falling off in kitchen area, toilet seat falling off and tiles falling off in bathroom.

Pool area dirty and pool has no filter so dirty water and way too much chlorine!! Not enough sun loungers for all the guests which caused lots of problems for us as group of 11.

Pool bar has reasonable priced snacks such as pizza, burgers and wraps but definitely better standard outside hotel.

2 malls within 5 minutes walk which have good amenities and restaurants! This definitely helped improve our stay having these so close!

Just little things like hotel not being able to call taxis, having to ask for rooms to be cleaned and dirty pool area really let hotel down further.

Would not come back to this hotel.

OK for one night

We just had a night before flying out to London at the end of the holiday and wanted a hotel near the airport. We arrive at lunch time and the pool was packed, no sun beds available. Lights didn't work in the kitchen area, in the living room only light worked but it was so dim that you can barely see.
Curtains rails hanging from the ceiling!
Kitchen have no equipment and the fridge had a burning mark on the top.
Pillows, towels and blankets all old and nasty.

If any good thing was the shower with powerful water!

Would recommend this hotel, located half hour walk from the main square or old town. Or less than £5.00 in a taxi.
Staff friendly, shop less than five mins walk, serves alcohol and cigarettes. Kitchen a little out dated, but so what !! Who goes on holiday to cook??

Do not recommend this hotel. (1) it was eerily empty when I arrived, even though most other hotels in Marrakech were fully booked. It had a shining-esque atmosphere; (2) ***someone tried to enter my room at around 1am*** thankfully, I’d locked the door and it was only when I yelled that they stopped; (3) the elevator was broken; (4) while clean, room was visibly frayed and showed its wear and tear; (5) I had an incident with a taxi driver, and rather than help or support me, the bellman teamed up with the taxi driver. This was extremely unsettling as I was traveling alone and the driver had already taken my suitcase (and I didn’t want to ride with him. There were better ways to address the situation.

It was very disappointing. when we arrived the door to our room was open, we soon realized that the look did not work. We reported it to the front desk and it never got resolved...we slid the couch up against the door to keep it shut. Paint was peeling off the walls, no towels were provided, fridge was missing and kitchen cupboard doors were falling off the hinges.

it was located in a nice area and we went out for a very nice dinner.

This place should be classified as a 2 star at best.

If it had not been our last night and an early morning flight, we would have looked for another place to stay.

A couple of nights is enough

On arrival informed entry is 3 pm but as room ready we could check in. On booking form it states 2pm. Shown to room. As it was a studio with cooking facilities checked these first. There was a hot plate and mini oven with no front legs.... NO pans or oven dishes, so informed cleaning lady. Then went to go find somewhere to eat. Went in lift.....trapped in there for 15 mins! Alarm didn't work.had to phone hotel via a screenshot I had put on my phone for address. Fortunately we had bought a Moroccan SIM at airport. When someone came it was a good job my 1.86m 110k husband was with me as the guy could only open door about 10cm....my husband forced door open.They offered a room change, thought it would be an upgrade. No mini oven and one was brought...but without back legs this time so didn't sit even. and no remote for heating. One was brought to us...after another wasted 30 mins I knew the heating was not going to work....technician came and verified that it didn't work and brought us an oil filled heater which was insufficient for room size.
Breakfast room was freezing with wild birds eating from the breakfast buffet bar.
The interior of the building was stunningly beautiful but as the rooms are all around an open courtyard, any noise just echoed. So banging for coming and going, wheeled suitcases sounded like a train passing through.

Property was ok overall, the atmosphere is not warm indoors, staff seem to be distant they will not speak till they’re spoken to. I say hello to whomever I meet, they don’t. The back alleys / corridors are often dirty even the lobby was ... they should fix the front entrance, unstable bricks all broken making it difficult to walk in and out of the building also at night the lighting is very poor making walking to the hotel very spooky .

The line to check-in was huge, and the hotel staff was not so nice about it. They couldn't find my reservation, even though it was already paid and accounted for, and didn't answer the phone to sort out the details with this website's (hotel.com) customer service; despite several attempts !! I had to wait 2 hours (from 3 to 5-ish) and was super late to an event I was supposed to go to at 5. The hotel itself looks decent enough and the rooms were okay; but the service and the hotel staff made it a horrible experience.

The apartment was clean but not as expected. Check in took us almost an hour, elevators very narrow only for 2 persons. No towels or soap at the toilet, shower head hanger is broken room is not furnished as it should be, dirty small electric oven and dishes not even clean

Great Apartment for Families

We stayed as a family of 6 at this hotel. It was great value. The apartments were a really good size, clean & functional. We had a double bedroom, a twin room & a lounge with 3 sofa beds. Bed linen was ready for us when we arrived late at night. We were able to call down to the reception if we needed anything.

Given the heat in Summer in Marrakesh, the air conditioning was really good. There was a good half sized fridge with freezer compartment in the kitchenette. And you can pick everything from the Carrefour supermarket in the Menara Mall, a 5 min walk away.

The free wifi was best downstairs & sketchy in our room. You can get a free sim at the airport, buy 1GB of data for less than £1 & pop into an unlocked smartphone. By turning on the mobile hot-spot function, the whole family can stay online where ever you go.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

I would book this apartment again & I would recommend it. Why ?
Because it offers superb value & is perfectly positioned for exploring the city.

It's about a 5 minute walk to the Menara Mall, where there are plenty of places to eat & a dedicated top floor with arcades, soft play, an ice skating rink & food court. Don't miss the light & music water fountain show at 9pm at Menara Mall. And you can purchase day tickets to the Aqua Fun Club waterpark from the entrance of the Menara Mall.

Across from the Menara Mall is the Big Bus Tour stop. You can purchase a 2 day ticket & hop on & off at all the key sights around Marrakesh.

Housekeeping in the floor her name kaltoum she is nice but the poor ladie she can t improve it all she wants to help but the onwer of that proprety needs major renovation and provide suppllies to make the guest confortable , if you call the reception and they know your room needs AC , ......... so the prefer answer and don t talk just let you talk about your self because they know what you gonna complaint about

Noise from the generators like a plane taking off.

The hotel is in great location, but the noise by room 255 is beyond possible for someone to sleep or relax. The generators outside were very load like a plane due to take off. Idealy not to accommodate the rooms facing the generators you ll have to be deaf to put up with the noise.😂😂

I didn’t enjoy my stay in Mogador Manzeh. Room was not clean dusty, tv remote has no batteries and it was broken, we were 4 in a room with only 2 two towels, breakfast was very poor no much choices.
I was disappointed and didn’t enjoy my stay there at all and thx god we only booked our stay for two day.

Terrible customer service but good location

Our holiday was generally ok as we only used the hotel as a base.
Check in was horrendous! The customer service was non existent and there was no queuing system so unless you could push and shove past the arrogant Morrocans you would be waiting a long time.
It took them 90 minutes to check us in and then the triple room we had was in a poor state of repair - no hob, no AC and no towels! We then had to go back to reception and ask for a different room!! This took another hour!!!
Apart from the initial hiccup the rest of the duration we spent at the hotel was ok.

Only a flying visit good location to centre and airport .large room with kitchen amenities but very tired .good pool and plenty of sun beds great for the price and ideal for a couple of nights passing through wouldn’t want to go a for a main holiday .air con was good as it was very hot being July .also it is cheap to stay !

It took us between 30-40 min to get checked in. The elevators were out of service and we were on the 5th floor. There was no WiFi, air conditioning or shampoo, or even any soap amenities. Don’t be deceived when looking at this online, it is not what it appears. We did not stay.

The property was in a good location, within walking distance to the Menara Mall and restaurants. The staff were not helpful, there were never any Maps or tourist information in this hotel. The room was a disappointment, the only thing that worked in the room was the fridge, the dishes looked dirty, no dishwasher or soap provided, the walls in the bathroom was dirty, the door under the kitchen sink was falling off, beds were not comfortable and sheets were dirty, towels had yellow stains on them. Other guests had the same the same issues, it was a huge disappointment from the pictures advertised.

good location but some apartment are dirty , smelly and boring dark painting .
need a refurmishment and work at all.

what was stange is the pool man who was lying in poolbed and sleeping instead of watch out children to be drawn. ???...
this unacceptable at all . watch hotel camera on monday around 3 .
hotel management should find out why the Guardian outside door having scream and fight with costomers about car park ?????? sooilling image????
anyway , its a budget price hotel with good location.
