Room was very old stains all over the carpet. The staff was phenomenal they are very accommodating and very nice. The location is good but the room was horrible. No lights in the bedroom other than the two little night stands that are extra dirty. The iron is broken couldn’t iron anything.

Stayed here for my birthday. Had a complimentary room upgrade which was excellent! The staff were always extremely helpful. The breakfast was outstanding! The pool area was just what was needed to relax after a busy day exploring the city. The only negative I have to say about this hotel is that it does not serve alcohol, which is not stated anywhere in the hotel details.

Overall a grand experience. 1st when we got our room there was something not right and when we explained our requirement the reception staff was very helpful and understanding and next day we were moved to a much better room . Our special thanks goes to Rizlan who went out of her way to accomodate us .And not the least were Ameen and Athman .Breakfast was great and beatiful lobby. Definitely will visit again. And the location of the hotel is very convenient.And our gratitude to breakfast staff Fatima & Emaan and tge rest of the staff for making our stay a memorable one.

This is our go to hotel for Marrakech. Super nice and friendly staff and our room are always clean and fresh. The best of this hotel is their breakfast buffet. So many options and it’s all included with your stay! We love it here and have booked it 3 times already! It’s close to a shopping center and tons of restaurants in the area to try!

The Mogador Ménara is a property to stay away from!! From the rude, incompetent and unhappy reception personnel to the noisy construction next door, you’re better off staying at the train station!! The property is sad and unkept, lighting in the rooms was nonexistent, and the AC was not working!! I should have read the previous reviews before booking our stay here, but we had no choice, as the city was all booked up! I also booked our room through Expedia a 2-Queen bed room and ended up with two twins!! But after reading the previous reviews about rude front desk staff and repair requests going unanswered, we grinned and bearer our stay but could not wait to check out!! The daily breakfast was the only good thing about the hotel (at least the servers there were helpful).

My stay at Hotel Mogador was unfortunately far from pleasant. From the moment I arrived, the experience was filled with issues that made the stay uncomfortable and frustrating.

Parking:
The parking situation was a complete headache. The facility is poorly managed, with limited spaces that make it difficult to park without added stress. It took much longer than it should have to find a spot, and no clear assistance was provided by the staff.

Room:
The room was in terrible condition. It was full of dust, making it uncomfortable to breathe and definitely not up to acceptable cleanliness standards. The fridge didn’t work, so we couldn’t store any food or drinks properly, which was a huge inconvenience. Worse still, there was a constant smell of gutter throughout the room, making it unbearable to stay inside for too long.

Facilities:
The air conditioning was completely non-functional, which made the room stifling and hot. This is especially unacceptable considering the warm climate. On top of that, the shower was broken, and despite reporting it, no immediate fix or solution was offered. Trying to clean up after a long day was more trouble than it was worth.

Overall Service:
While the staff was generally polite, their responsiveness left much to be desired. The issues we faced with the room were either ignored or addressed too slowly, and there was no sense of urgency in fixing the problems. It felt as if the staff was overwhelmed or simply uninterested in helping.

The worst airport I have ever stayed at

Poor service by the front desk people- disorganized, unattentive, and noncompliant with simple requests. The room door was broken - despite calling and speaking with the front manager, he didn't send anyone to fix it, so essentially, I slept with my room unlocked. Also, no one answered calls from house keeping- a simple request for toothpaste was never fulfilled. What a poor quality service. The only reason I would stay here is if you like your room unlocked, have to spend only one night and want to be near airport…

Although the check-in was a bit rocky and the initial room was noisy due to AC issues, they were willing but I think they had no choice to give me a better room.
They told me they upgraded me, when in fact they had no choice as the hotel was full.
The upgraded room was 10 times better. Maybe I will book their deluxe rooms and forget the superior ones :)

This is NOT a five start hotel, to start off. Bad customer service and rude to guests.

This is BEFORE we had any issues.

Apart from that, we were stuck in the earthquake and they would not give us access our room for the rest of my group’s stay. Understandably for safety, so we had to check out early to find new accommodations. They refused to give us a refund for the rest of our stay until I talked to the director/president of the hotel who personally approved our group of 8 rooms’ refunds for the nights we could not use.

Fast forward to 3 weeks later, after having to follow up by multiple e-mail and calls, they said they will processes them next day.

Now, almost 3 weeks later and hundreds of dollars in international call fees, they HANG UP on me every time I call and refuse to let me speak with the Director/President.

This is so disrespectful, unprofessional, and unacceptable.

Little do they know, I enjoy putting my law degree to good use. Wish them luck.

Without a doubt the staff and property were outstanding. Rooms were kept very clean and staff were above and beyond helpful. We were on-site during the recent earthquake and every effort was made to ensure that guests were well taken care of! Everyone from the manager to service staff were calm, efficient, kind and helpful! I highly recommend this location for your next visit to Marrekech! Gold stars to all!

Everything was good, except the shower in the room which was a real disaster!
There is no shower curtain or anything to keep the water from running all the way outside of the bathroom to the room ! every time we shower, we had to mop the floor all the way to the outside of the bathroom. The shower head is at almost waist level. So we had to either sit down to shower or hold it with one hand the whole time.
Very unsafe bathroom :(
The staff was very friendly and professional.

Overall the staff were friendly but the hotel, although quite grand, was a little run down. I had a horrible (very heavy) leak in my room where the entrance area was constantly flooded with water. I was told it was the AC unit but the water was literally gushing at times. Maintenance took forever to come and attempt to fix it on two occasions but I was not offered another room. I guess since I only had 2 nights they didn’t bother. I ended up just putting bath towels on the floor in the area to catch the water and wring it out every now and again. While the rest of my stay there was good, this was really a deal breaker.

The hotel is average, nothing impressive or high quality. The staff needs proper training, upon check-in it seemed as if I had caused an inconvenience. The doorman wouldn't even open the door. The stay was average with nothing to report on, they don't offer basic hot water for tea and coffee in the room . The iron I had the wires sticking out and could potentially be a health hazard. When I was checking out at 6:30am we had to look for and wake up someone to assist us, the person was unable to find a copy of our deposit payment and this whole process took 15 minutes. This hotel has great potential but the staff and management have negativity impacted it.

very - very cold and tricky with money

The 5 stars hotel is rather 4 stars. The breakfast and dinner buffet is wonderful but you cannot enjoy since there is no heating in the hotel except the rooms - I never thought to be in Marrakesh and feel so cold. At the reception desk they tried to charge more and twice!!! It is clean with nice facilities but could not enjoy anything of these for I had to run for heat in my room.....WIFI was mostly not working.

First let me say, I’m a female solo traveler and I travel abroad extensively so feeling secure is very important to me. I stayed at The Grand Mogador Menara for 11/14-11/20 The staff was amazing from the moment I walked in and made me feel like Morocco was my home. Fatima was so nice and took care anything I needed. She definitely is well skilled in hospitality. I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye to her when I left and hope her delivery went well! The food was outstanding with so many options to choose from. The mall is within a short walking distance as well as other restaurants to choose from. I was there for work so wifi is a must. Worked intermittently at first, but once I found a good spot it was fine. The buffet is incredible with endless options! Definitely something for everyone! The staff was very helpful in assisting me with finding things in the area and transportation. I had a balcony room with a beautiful city view. My room was very clean and had everything I needed. I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Mogador & look forward to visiting again later this year!

Stayed in this hotel before and compared to current stay the hotel should not be 5 stars. The service the breakfast served way below average. Perhaps it has to do with ongoing strike of hotel employees since July of this year. Banners outside the hotel with not nice slogans regarding hotel management and hanging human size dolls from the trees....
Not a nice welcome to this hotel. I would not stay there in the future

Mogador menara group visit.

We have stayed here twice before with our charity group as we work with a local orphanage and hospital when visiting Marrakech. Hotel is based in menara which is very central and safe. Staff are great especially Fatima & the assistant manager on the poolside restaurant. Only downfall is room service can take a while and the cleaners can be unpleasant - their was a strike going on with some of the staff which meant everything was a little slower than our previous visits . No complaints about the hotel in general -highlights include: the Spa, Pool side food, non-alcoholic hotel and the location of the Hotel.

We also got upgrades to pool side view rooms which was great. Discount on the spa also =)

Amazing hotel! Great location on Boulevard Mohamed 6. Next to coffee shops, the Menara Mall, and Palais des congres. The staff , the food, the swimming pool, and environment were amazing. The only downside could be that this hotel does not serve alcohol, but it was not an issue for me. Some people might not like that.

Stayed for 3-4 nights fro New years Eve in Dec 2017.

Was NOT impressed with the hotel facilities and service.
Not quiet a GRAND hotel as i was hoping for.

Staff needs to earn to respond to complains and respond promptly!
They will lean with these poor customer feedback!

Not ideal fro Western tourist - No alcohol bar.
Breakfast is very basic.

However location is great and rooms are very large.
But be careful as they over book and put me to another hotel on the 1st night 0 Not ideal!

We arrived at the hotel at 11 pm very tired, and even though we had a reservation, non refundable, they told us they did not have any room. So they send us to a different location, that was crap! The ruined our stay and did not compensate us adequetlt. I paid premium price for location and being comfortable, and i did not get ir. The hotel is a 3 star,, but if you are looking for reliability and accountability forget it, get another hotel.

I was visiting Marrakech this time for business, and choosing this hotel was one of the best choices I have made.
The hotel is very well placed in a location were most of the walkable attractions are especially for those who are looking for the entertainment of leisure Cafe's and night life.
It has a very nice Gym, Moroccan Hammam, and Massage with a closed swimming pool and another big open to air pool
Breakfast is very good in terms of quality, verity and quantity.
The room are very clean, the look and feel of the bathroom is also very good and clean
It missed some small touches like some tissues in room, English menu for Massage and food, and I didn't find any instructions got how to use the room phone..!
