The hotel was well located and away from the busy roads - 10 minute walk from the train station. The room I had booked with a balcony was not available the first night and the one I received was small, definitely not 30 sq meters as described. The second room was much better with a view of the city and larger. Bed was confortable and shower had very hot water and lots of pressure. Breakfast was good and plentiful in the mornings. However, there was no wifi in the room as in the description. Wifi was only available in the lounge off the lobby. Also, there was loud music from the restaurant that could be heard every evening from my room till 23:00. Finally, I was overcharged for the taxes, which were supposed to be 13.3 dirhams a night as incicated in my reservation. However, they chanrge me 20 dirham a night.

Super friendly hotel. 300 yards/metres from the train station. Buses from the train station will take you to the mosque and the market. Taxis always available at the hotel. Staff are fantastic and speak several languages. At least 3 restaurants within 50 yards. Memorable visit to Marakesh.

Great stay, 300 steps or so from the train station, spacious and clean room, air con/ heating worked without issues, shower was great with very good pressure.
Staff were super friendly and professional.
Pool was clean, and breakfast was decent.
Would come back again insha'Allah.

The Front Desk service was average. They were not very keen at assisting. The rooms are basic but fine although our room was not serviced during our stay (5 days). The safe was not working and there were no attempt to fix it by the property. The breakfast is ok, but no fresh food available (fruits). The spa was good, great service and friendly. If you are looking for a basic hotel, with a pool, walking distance to many places this is a good choice.
We were charged the stay taxes in Euro ($4 Euros per day) by the hotel although Expedia quoted it in Australian dollars (AUD $20), therefore, cost was much higher due to the exchange rate.

Lovely staff but rooms in need of updating.

We had a problem in our first room with the shower, they eventually fixed it then it broke again and they fixed it again. The air con box was on the balcony, which blew hot air and when its 30+ degrees out side it was a no no plus it would be dangerous for little fingers. We were moved to another room after 2 days, air con didnt work properly till day before we left, tv didnt work, handle on shower broke and frame on door coming off, again dangerous to little handles. Had electric shock of the one lamp and the other was like a disco. Everything was reported to reception

Nice historic property. Good value for money. Rooms bit dated and not sound proof. Great breakfast but cold - fortunately had a toaster / microwave to heat - technically a buffet but has restrictions - the guy adjacent to me was pretty upset when he was refused a second one egg omellette. Which I found was a bit picky on the part of the hotel particularly when they offer a buffet. The omellete was set up and even offered later in the breakfast period with some missing it.

The staff was not very helpful and seemed annoyed when asked for assistance. I was accused of taking food from the free buffet by the attendant. When asked for an apology I received none. Just rude. And it wasn't just me with issues. Other guests had disagreements with staff. I will never return or recommend this hotel.

The concierge was very friendly .. he shared he lost 4 family members in the earthquake near Merrakech .. told him soo sorry .. the room and amenities are great .. pool on hot Africa days definitely a plus …breakfast was included in my price 42 US dollars a night not bad at all . The bed was comfy with big pillows .. A/C worked fine ..,my only complaint is the shower is raw cement .. no tiles .. looks like public park locker room shower in Chicago where I’m from …and won’t be impressive to female clients … other than that enjoyed my stay .. and after checkout they held my overnite bag free of charge til I came back from my tour … 4/5 stars

Everything was just OKay, place was okay for a short stay, pool area was nice, they were always cleaning the area, staff were Okay, desk staff did not give a warm welcoming when we arrived. The one thing that really annoyed us was the housekeeping staff, they did not clean our room until 1630-1700 everyday. The breakfast was ok, but if your not eating carbs you will not find anything to eat. The coffee was horrible, the mint tea was good. Not sure if I would stay again

Unfortunately they had no record of my Expedia booking and Expedia had to step in so that myself and my children had somewhere to sleep. The reception staff were somewhat apologetic and paid the city tax as a gesture of good will, but could have handled it better from the start - it took all night to resolve, leaving me uncertain of where we would stay for the rest of the week, and the manager didn't seem concerned and snapped at me for taking my time to read the invoice / use the card machine when Expedia unexpectedly refunded my prepayment (largely due to the time taken for the hotel to resolve the prepaid booking dispute.)

I booked the junior suite and several things were not working or ill thought out. The hairdryer and TV weren't working and there is no light switch or charger beside the bed, meaning I had to use my phone torch to get into bed after turning out the main light. The blue power button of the air con shines down on the bed all night and can't be switched off. The room was only made up every other day, and dry towels had to be requested in the interim.

Breakfast was good and the decor in the communal areas is wonderful. Costs about £5 each way to the centre, so would stay more centrally next time.

Mohammed at the front desk is wonderful. He helped direct me to the bus and a good restaurant when I needed. The rest of the staff was very friendly including the breakfast buffet server and bell hop who carried my bags to my room. Very lovely time. They are happy to welcome tourists.

High end feel for budget prices

Wow ! This was our third hotel during a tour of Morocco. For the price point it’s amaZing. Very dark rooms and great AC unlike some of the others we stayed in . Downstairs had a very boutique like feel thestaff were friendly and helpful

My check-in took 30 minutes for some reason before they gave me a room key that wouldn't work and then moved me to another room that had the door wide open. Not sure if it had been cleaned thoroughly. TV and minifridge didn't work. The shower was a sad, little dribble. But it was easy to access the train station and the AC and wifi worked. Fine for one night but don't expect much.

I stayed one night before a flight to Paris. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. The lighting in the room was completely inadequate to read. The noise produced by other guests in adjoining rooms and of street sounds was easily audible until late at night. I would not choose this hotel again.

hotel check in was excellent the young lady helping me was enthusiastic and bubbly - the room had the double bed as requested and the facilities were adequate. THe room was above the News cafe which was pretty noisy - however lockdown meant at least it stopped at 2230 - which was a blessing otherwise you would not sleep at all. Breakfast was pastries only and was restricted due to lockdown - hotel is good for the money but you need that room away from the cafe. Shopping mall and cafes restaurants all close by.

I was so impressed with this hotel, excellent value for money, fabulous staff, facilities were great with restaurant and cafe attached. The breakfast was worth getting up for and the pool was sweet. I had such a lovely time - this hotel is a bit special and in a great location. There are some nice bars around if you like a drink, just ask the reception. Really nice hotel.

Loved the location of this hotel, it’s decor, room size, breakfast & sun trap!
Hotel advertises rooms come with a hairdryer, there was no hairdryer & when I asked for one I was told to bring it back to reception after I had used it that day....erm I’m on holiday it’s hot I’m washing & drying my hair everyday...?
The bathroom let’s the rooms down massively, the rooms are so nice & well decorated but the bathroom is dated & our shower door was broken. It would be quick to bring it up to standard but as it is, it really lets the room down. In saying that I would book here again it was not enough to put me off!

Really friendly and helpful staff. Love the breakfast - especially the hot food. The chef would come out and make sure you were happy with your breakfast. The hotel restaurant is also very good and the vibe of the restaurant is very chill.
Overall really enjoyed my stay. I stayed in a different hotel the first 2 days of my trip and hated the hotel and when we came to Lawrence d’Arabie it made the trip so much better

We stayed at this hotel for a family holiday. The hotel was close to the airport - only 10 minute drive in a taxi. It is also centrally located within walkable distance to the main attractions. The reception staff (Eshan, Hanan, Hakim and Mohammed) were helpful. A special thanks to Hakim who took care of our needs promptly. He also kindly arranged a taxi for our return journey to the airport.

The breakfast was good. The staff at the breakfast area were friendly.

First of all I would really like to mention some names that actually made our trip better by giving the best service and guides, they are Hakim, Hannane, Mustafa, and hamza. There were two more guys that helped outside getting us taxis but forgot their names ! Anyways the breakfast of this hotel is TO DIE FOR ! Their breakfast was served so early and stayed until 10ish which is amazing ! You won’t be disappointed in terms of breakfast ! Overall the service was amazing ! A few bits and bobs but you can’t have it all perfect can you ! The rooms are clean and really big! Just needs more lights ! The hotel is in a very nice area where lots of food places are in walking distance and taxis always are around !

Now I would like to mention one more name but this time it’ gotta be someone I received the worst ever SERVICE ! His name was Hisham and really people like him shouldn’t be serving and working at hotels ! He has a temper when I asked for lamps for my room and said “I am too tired” well I don’t give a damn care coz I just landed and needed some MORE light in my room ! Anyways he was not helpful and unbelievably rude !

Other than having a bad service on the first night, the other colleague Hakim made it better by getting us lamps and changing our room the next day ! So grateful ! Good service staff are what make the best hotel even if it’s uncomfortable staying in, but having a good staff around helps providing good service ! Thank you Hakim and the rest of them

This was my second stay in this lovely welcoming hotel. The staff are kind helpful and very professional. The facilities and location excellent. Please note that there is a cafe next door that plays very loud music - this i has become a real issue with both the hotel and local residents - so if you wish for a quieter stay ask for a room away from the cafe. I was put in room 209 right above the cafe and then asked to move which was dealt with with no fuss or bother and had a much quieter stay. The lobby area and pool side are very relaxing to sit in and a great way to start and end the day. A great choice of yummy breakfast in the very beautifully designed eating area which includes the pool side. A lot of local cafes and restaurants to eat in and near the train station. The hop on off bus is at the end of the road so easy to access the whole city from there. A very enjoyable stay and I would recommend and visit again. Job well done.

Beware of the hotel staff. I found them generally very dishonest. I was asked to pay tax in cash and reception didn't have change. She told me should would have the change delivered to my room. It never came and when I inquired later, no one knew anything about it. On the day of departure they offered to call me a tax which I gladly accepted. Prior to getting into the taxi I was asked to pay the hotel dh150 as they paid they claimed to pay the taxi in advance. Once I was on my way I casually said to the taxi that the rate of dh150 was a bit pricey for such a short ride to the airport. He informed me that per the schedule posted on the back seat the flat rate was only dh70. Guess the hotel staff pocketed the dh80. Left a really bad taste with me and I do not recommend staying here.

Very good hotel close to the train station.

Better than a 3* hotel. Very close to the train station and less than 10 minutes taxi ride away from Jemaa el fna. Hot buffet style breakfast available near the pool. Helpful staff. Daily cleaned rooms with good WiFi and A.C. Extra towels available for swimming but the pool water was very cold and had a disgusting taste so my younger children couldn't swim in it. Apart from the pool the rest of the hotel facilities were very good.

Had a fabulous lady who was incredibly helpful when it came to booking an excursion and restaurants.
Would suggest you check out other websites for excursions as they could come out a bit cheaper.
Room was a decent size but only 4 hangers so be prepared to fold up most of your clothing!
They were more than happy to let us leave our luggage until the time came to get to the airport which was helpful.

I feel this hotel goes the extra way to welcome and accommodate for your needs. I had a very pleasant time here and felt safe and looked after. A very functional and comfortable room with a balcony. Excellent shower and furnishings. The decor of the entrance and all around the hotel are very pleasant to view and be in. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice and lovely staff to help your every need. You can sit in the breakfast room or around the pool area. The hotel boasts a harman and spa and a cafe next door so you will be well catered for.

The hotel staff was very welcoming and accommodating, however the experience was not perfect due to the level of cleanliness in the room. The room seemed as if it had not be cleaned since the last guests were there, but it was not a horrible experience just not what you would expect from such a pretty hotel with great customer service. I went home with bed bug bites which was unfortunate. The cafe was great and the breakfast in the morning was great and kept us energized for the rest of the day. So, all in all, a mixed review.

Lovely, characterful hotel with delightful staff

We enjoyed a lovely Christmas here, with warm, friendly staff, great service and a spacious and very comfortable junior suite. The blurb referred to a 'partially open' bathroom which rather worried me, but it was nothing of the kind, with a door(!), a tub, great shower and basin, and the loo in a separate space divided by another door. We had our own fridge which was very useful as I bought some vodka in duty free and bought mixers from a nearby shop - otherwise the cafe is non-alcohol and to my knowledge most of the nearby hotels are too. Decent Lebanese restaurant just down the road which serves wine, though. Very close to the station where you can change money and there's a cash machine. We had to get taxis everywhere but this wasn't a problem, there were plenty around.

Friendly staff, disappointing rooms

Stayed for a week in this pretty/quaint hotel. Around the small pool and the lounge areas of reception are comfortable.

The hotel is relatively easy to find and taxis can pull to the door which is good for safety. Staff were friendly, particularly the breakfast team, and generally helpful.

My room was on a corner and was incredibly noisy throughout the night. (I am not usually a light sleeper but did not sleep much.) The electricity supply kept cutting out and I had to reset the fusebox myself several times a day. The phone never worked, and hot water and wifi in the rooms was limited.

So overall a disappointing stay, particularly given the positive reviews it has received from others.

Wonderful Hotel!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. We stayed in the executive Suit, which is a 2 bedroom, one bathroom, has a sitting area and small kitchenette. Perfect for families! We have two teenage girls that enjoyed the free WiFi and the Mink blankets that were in the closet. My husband and I enjoyed the premium bedding and the free water that was included in the room. Our favorite place in the hotel was the outdoor sitting area, although it was small, they always played good music and the painted mural on the back of the pool was beautiful and kinda put your mind at ease. The hotel staff was exceptionally wonderful, especially Recepionniste and Abdullah! They went out of there way every day to make sure we had everything we needed from daily excursions to transportation the Medina for dinner every day. Housekeeping was great as well; they kept the room exceptionally clean! They came in and made the beds and replaced the towels every day, which mad are stay very comfortable. Me and my girls also visited the spa at the hotel and it was the best spa we have ever been to, the hotel offer a great package…cost about 25GBP. The location is very covenant to taxis, malls, and the train station. You are out of the crazy Medina area but close enough to all the main attractions. The only Con about the room was the shower…it had no pressure and the water was either to hot or to cold. All in all, we loved our stay here and would recommend it to everyone!

A gem!

This is a wonderful hotel! The most impressive things are the design, an incredible breakfast, the neighborhood and friendly staff. It's a beautiful hotel with authentic Moroccan design. There is a gorgeous pool and breakfast is served poolside. The breakfast is truly incredible. The neighborhood is tranquil and safe -- far away from the chaos of the medina. It is also very close to the train station and a grocery store where you can buy alcohol. The staff is very friendly and kind (but not very good at giving directions). Their is technically satellite television -- but only about 1/3 of the channels come in. The wifi is very inconsistent. The only place that had reliable wifi was in the hotel lobby. But a wonderful hotel that I unequivocally recommend!

A great hotel in a very nice location

We stayed in Lawrence d'Arabie hotel in late November 2015 as a family of 4. The facilities at the Executive Suite were very good including a very comfy bed. It was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was exceptionally good.The hotel staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. A special mention goes to Mustafa and Abdullah at reception and Abdullah the porter who was always very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and we are now looking forward to our next stay.

if your after a clean hotel, this is one to look a

One of the best hotels I stayed at in Marrakech and I have stayed at a few. Staff are really nice and friendly and rooms were super clean. I practically did a dust check everywhere and could not find any. Would definitely stay again and have already recommended to others.

The room I had didn't have carpet so would recommend taking flip flops otherwise you would have to wear your shoes all the time.

Confirmed booking. Arrived and told not confirmed.

We had a confirmed booking - email from Expedia saying that there was no need to reconfirm. Expedia had phoned the hotel and confirmed in writing that it was alright for us to arrive in the middle of the night. When we arrived around midnight with 2 children we were told that the booking was not confirmed. They told us that they had received the booking but did not have the room available and so had not confirmed it. Nor had they let anyone know that they did not have the room available. We had booked a non-smoking suite so that adults and children would be together. We ended up having to move rooms and the children slept on a different floor of the building to us. Rooms they insisted were non-smoking had ashtray, cigarette smoke smell and no non-smoking sign and they said that they just had to spray it and it would be alright (which I explained was no good for an asthmatic). At the end they insisted that we had to pay tax even though the booking clearly said that all taxes were included. Expedia refunded the tax.

A nice hotel at walking distance to train station.

Four of us had a good comfortable stay in a flat like self contained accommodation with a double and a twin bedroom with a TV lounge and kitchen area. The lobby and the rooms have nice Mediterranean architecture. The streets around are quiet and peaceful. The staff was very nice and helpful.
A kettle and coffee sachets and tea bags were provided in the room.

disatifaction over the price policy

Very disapointing, it is our second stay at this hotel, they put us in 209 directly above a disco come restaurant very noisy.You had given me a price for staying at the Hotel, but on coming to pay, the wanted much more, saying that they had not up dated there web site, I do have the receipts for this, if you would like to question this transaction. please advise.

Plus: Good location if you arrive by train or Supratour bus and want to walk to your hotel. Hicham (staff) was very helpful and attentive. Transfer to the airport worked well.
Minus: cockroaches in the bathroom.

calidad-precio muy bien

El hotel calidad precio genial, curioso, aunque el desayuno bueno pero algo escaso. El recepcionista muy amable y servicial. El día de salida salimos muy temprano en la mañana y pedimos por lo menos un café al servicio del bar ya que teniamos el desyuno incluido y nos dijeron que nada, que el horario era a partir de las 7 de la mañana.
el hotel situado en buena zona a 15 minutos en coche de la medina

駅が近いとても便利な場所にあります。エレベーターも完備で、部屋はとても広々しています。
朝ごはんも焼きたてのオムレツを出してくれて美味しかったです。
ただ、バスルームはあまり清潔ではありませんでした。それからシャワーのお湯の温度が変わりやすく、これには困りました。ヘアドライヤーはありません。

A quelques mètres de la gare de Marrakech.Tout est a proximité..Restos,Bars,commerces.
Un accueil au top et aux petits soins .Le personnel est souriant ,bienveillant et très attentionné.
On se sent vraiment accueilli.
L hôtel offre une piscine,un bar et un spa.
Les chambres sont très spacieuses.
Salle de bain idem
Literie au top.
J ai passé 4 jours au top.J ai trop apprecié mon séjour ici.
