Apartment was great - good space - and hotel reeception were very helpful. Excellent location close to town.

We absolutely loved this place, such a big apartment much bigger than we were expecting. Really conveniently located and so close to everything we needed. Staff were great helping us with our bags and taxis. Only thing I would feedback is given how much room we had the bathrooms were very small. The smallest double also could do with black put curtain rather than a blind as there was a street light outside. We loved Tromsø and would defo return here if we come back.

The location was good. Easy walk to Main Street and restaurants. Nice spacious apartment but heat did not work well in all the bedrooms and can hear road noise through the night. The bathroom was not too clean and smelled. Service was not good had to contact the front desk multiple times. No housekeeping service. Had to remove snow from stairs ourselves. Dishes were dirty and some appliances need to be replaced

There are number of properties with same name Enter tromso and confusing. We feel like we were sent to the wrong place.they need to distinguish the properties. There were not enough GPOs in the bedrooms and the living room was not lit up and some of lights did not work. However the staff were exceptionally helpful

Comfortable for the 5 of us. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room was lovely. The beds were also comfortable and clean. Location was excellent as we walked most everywhere in the city center.

The one bathroom was very small and cramped, okay for us but others might have trouble. Many stairs with small staircases were okay for us all but older folks, those with large suitcases or those with disabilities will have trouble.

The hotel staff were excellent which helped a lot. Special kudos to Ionut as he was a great asset at the front desk.

Nice cozy little home, felt like an authentic local living space. The town is small so most places are pretty walkable. Everything was working, only complaint is there was no shower gel or shampoo. Staff was generally friendly and heplful. We did not know that the apartment was not in the same building as the check-in, and there was a short 2min walk. Dragging luggage ourselves from the check-in to the apartment in the snow was a bit tough.

It was clean and comfortable and very central.
The electricity supply was a bit odd with not many sockets for appliances. The kitchen was also a bit worn. There is only an outside staircase and 5 steps down into the bedroom. The bathroom is on the upper floor off the living room. Also this was nothing like the advert we clicked on.

Good stay at Tromso

The stay was very good. The hotel is located at a very good location as well, nearby to the bus stop, mall, city center. The staff was also very helpful, prompt and with good communication. The only issue was with heating in the bedroom, it was not covering the entire room.

Like the location. Did not like the apartment. Looked nothing like the one advertised. Much smaller basement little flat. Vey little lite, very little space, you can hear people walking the floor above, one of the smoke alarms was missing. Had to ask for change of towels. We were there for 9 days and despite this place being run by hotel you have to ask for new towels once a week. Very slow internet, netflix stopped every 5 mins in the evenings. Pools and sauna are closed for 2 years now and still being advertised.

Worth the money! ☺️

The place was very cozy and it was located in the city centre so we didn’t have to walk too long or travel to get to the pick up points. Staffs are very accommodating as well, the receptionist when we checked in even helped us with our luggages!
The ambiance was very nice that we would love to extend our stay there and just chill out!

The hotel room was spacious and well equipped with all the kitchen appliances and kitchen ware. The staff was beyond friendly and always ready to help. They made my stay most enjoyable. The fact that there was no phone in the room doesn't matter as the staff was the best! Its 1 block from the train station and from the grocery store. All major attractions are walking distance.

The apartment does not reflect any of the 90+ photos on hotels.com or entertromso.no or elsewhere. It is smaller than appear in photos.

The general standard is low (they advertise \"high standards\"). e.g. the TV table is wobbly and unstable.

1 bedroom was smaller than the bathroom. The other was in the attic.

There was only 1 roll of toilet paper provided. No soap was in the shower dispenser.

We were overall disappointed in the quality and condition of the place, for the price of 900$/2 nights.

Check in was fast and easy. 👍 Staff was friendly. Coffee and waffles were at reception for free.

Room condition was not as expected. We booked an apartment for 3 but the bedroom was extremely small and was under average condition. Because the room was on the top floor, we were basically stayed at an attic space. The light in the bedroom was 2 small LED light right above my head. Terrible.

The third person had to sleep on the couch because when we tried to pull out the couch, it could not make a bed with it. The pull out was some kind of foam with something. So we just slept on the sofa for 4 nights.

There was no phone in the room so we had to go down 3 stories and around the corner of the building in snow for service.
The snow were not swept and cleaned on the stairs on the top floor where we were. We had an older friend with us, she was very afraid of taking those stairs.

Apartment was not fully ready when we arrived. had 1/3 of a roll of toilet paper. sheets and blankets were not ready for the 3rd person. Front desk said those should be ready on the sofa but obviously they were not. Soap dispenser for the sink was empty. only one soap dispenser in the shower room for everything, no shampoo or conditioner. these are just basic amenities.

Hot water was in and out. Can you imagine no hot water in a Norway winter?! WiFi was poor. WiFi was even slower and worse in the bedroom.Overall we were not satisfied with the apartment. We

Great location and friendly staff. The apartment we stayed in was not like any of the images shown on the Expedia website. It was a bit run down, with chipped walls, broken blinds and nicks here and there. Generally a lower standard than I was expecting, after booking a great 4-starred apartment in Oslo via Expedia as well. It was, however, still comfortable and the heated floors in the kitchen and bathroom were a nice touch.

The apartments is 10 minutes from the city centre by foot, supermarket few block away. We arrived and checked in relatively quick, reception staff were really friendly and helpful, there are free tea, coffee and D I Y waffles in the evening between 6-8pm, it was very nice. The room was warm and clean, the kitchen had the basic equipment, basic toiletries bath towel was provided.

False advertising
The property did not look like in the pictures on the expedia website whatsoever. The flat was in the basement and much smaller than expected. The entrance was icy and slippery. There was no shower gell or shampoo. We had to make a trip to the reception (outside and the other side of the building) to ask for a loo roll. We feel like paying for 4 stars and getting 2 stars instead...

OK but a little basic

We had a great time in Tromso. The apartment was fairly central, or at least within easy walking distance of the town centre, reasonably well equipped and warm. It served our needs and the staff were extremely helpful. The apartment itself was however nothing like the picture in your brochure and although there are likely to be many simliar apartments, we did feel that the picture which helped us chose this accomodation to be misleading being in a basement with little natural light. On that basis we may look at other options when chosing to revisit. Wifi only allowed one device to be connected at any one time.

Apartment was in spacious and comfortable however certain things could’ve been improved. We had an apartment with 2 rooms for 4 people and only got 2 small towels. The toilet sink was blocked the whole stay and on the last day NO hot water was available. Reported the issues and got an apology however seen the price, we feel a comercial gesture should have been given.

We decided to book this apartment because of its amenities and location (Easily reachable by taxi and bus 42 which is a short walk to all the attraction).

The 2 storey apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. The staffs there are really friendly and warm! They will do their best to make you feel welcome!

Initially they allocated us an apartment which is up at hill. Way up to apartment was icy and slippery. The lucky and blessed part is they able to allocate another apartment nearer to town which have not much view but It was better than walk uphill.
Other than that, everything is goods. Hot water supply, kitchen appliances, heater all works. Basically we have a pleasant stay.

There are no Housekeeping for all the 6 days there. We need to walk to Viking hotel to tell them we need towels, rolls etc. No telephone to call and request at all. With such a cold weather, I Guess no one will just walk under the snow and get those amenities.

The property was advertised as three double bedrooms, however it was one double bedroom, one single and a open plan loft with 4 single beds, very inconvenient for two families. The flat was not very clean and we found dirty towels inside the washing machine and to make the matter worse we had to take short showers in turns as there was not enough hot water for 6 of us to have a decent shower.

Address is not Gronnegata 18; apt was 500m uphill

I booked an apartment for three nights at Enter Apartments Tromso Norway, The location listed on the Travelocity site was Gronnegata 18, Tromso. The confirmation email also gives the address as Gronnegata 18, Tromso.

The apartment I was given was 500 meters uphill away from the expected location, and was at Mellomveien 37 Tromso. I made this reservation at Enter Apartments Tromso based on the location, in order to be with my family members who had reservations at Enter Hotel Viking at Gronnegata 18.

While the hotel website did say a different location would be required for check-in, that different address was given as Gronnegata 18 Tromso, so I assumed it was next-door and would involve going out the front door. I did not expect my apartment to be 500 meters away up hill. The sidewalk outside the apartment is unfinished and is currently gravel. I was traveling with my 2yo son and a stroller so the location was very inconvenient.

At check-in time I had not yet seen the location. When I was told the location I complained and asked for a different location or the hotel itself but they told me there was no availability. I had no choice but to take the apartment last night, as it was 8pm and I needed to get my 2yo to bed.

I checked out the following day.

As I was leaving the apartment I saw a young fit couple pulling rolling bags up the hill looking very unhappy too.

Had a 1 bedroom appartment for 3 people in an old renovated house. Small but very cosy and sofa bed very comfortable for 1 person. Not so good for 2 people. Could walk everywhere in Tromsø. Lots of snow and ice when we were there at end of March for 6 days. Had to ask to have pathway to our doorway cleared on 2 occasions as it became very slippery. Should really be done every day without asking. Would definitely stay there again though.

I stay here with two friends. It had a lot of space, we each had our own bedroom. Very accommodating. It was quiet location with a great view. The kitchen was very useful because most places don’t open until 9 or later. The beds were very comfortable and the heated floor in the bathroom was nice. Two comments that I have are first the check-in location is not as what was listed on Orbitz. This was not very accommodating since we took a taxi to the hotel and then had to walk 5-6 blocks up hill and had a nice climb up some steps to the hotel. Second, the building (which has apartments that locals live in) is limited to 500liters of water. So if the tank runs out you have to wait until it fills again. Fortunately we didn’t run into any instances where we ran out of water, but it is a potential. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend staying here.

Our room for three people was super tiny and yet there was room for all of us and our excessive luggage. The location was great and there's a wonderful bakery one street closer to the sea. I recommend this hotel but be aware that the photos make it look much bigger than it is. Once we got over the shock, we found it quite charming.

Very nice apartment, roomy enough for the 9 people who went. Cabin like feeling, really comfortable beds, warm apartment even with the snow falling all weekend. Easy location for most things- shops, restaurants, museums, etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel but poor service

We booked this place as we had eight in our group and of wanted to stay in one place (rather than two separate hotel rooms).
Our place wasn't ready until 6:30 pm (although checkin time was 2 pm).
The TV channels on both TVs in the place didn't work.
There were no keys for bathrooms (we had eight people staying in our place).
Dinning table lights didn't work.
We informed reception but both the TV and light issues were never fixed.
We also had issues with car parking (others had parked their cars in our assigned spots).
Most importantly, there was no telephone in the room to call reception (and the reception was four to five minutes walk away in a separate building).
And since we were from overseas, a phone call to reception meant an overseas telephone call (!)
There wasn't much empathy showed by hotel staff either.
The place, that is, the rooms, however, was very comfortable, spacious and clean.
Upon checkout, we were offered NOK1,000 off our hotel bill due to the issues above.
We sincerely hope that the hotel management addresses the issues above so that future guests have a much better experience.

Apartment nice but broken shower door, no blinds on bedroom window, see through curtains with 2 very bright lights on wall outside window, very noisy upstairs apartment, party til 5.30 am, across from nightclub-very noisy each weekend night til late, not good for families, also same key to open outside door and door to our apt and as upstairs apt must also have key to open outside door their key also opened our apt too!! Apt was advertised ad balcony with mountain view, balcony small with views across street to high rise shops/apts with tiny glimpse of very top of mountain visible between the buildings...not mountain views that you would imagine.

An amazing memory made!

We stayed in a 3 bedroomed deluxe apartment. What a treat!!!! It had only been finished 2 months ago. Although we were approx. 6 minutes walk from the Viking Hotel (uphill), we were treated to the top floor apartment with wonderful views of the fjords. Everything was of a brilliant standard. An internal lift took us to our apartment. On arrival, the hotel paid for us to have a taxi to take us there as the conditions weren't great at walking with a suitcase! All members of staff were so friendly and welcoming too.

Cozy apartment in Tromso

I rented out the suite on the top floor, which was cozy, with a double bed, and optional pull out couch. Staff were very friendly. It felt like having a miniature apartment. My only complaint was I was staying in March, and there was a lot of ice on the stairs and the walk. The stairs to access the suite are on the outside. I could negotiate fine enough, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with mobility issues.

The flat is well organised with all the necessities. We booked a one bedroom, but were pleased to find out we actually had 2 bedrooms! Very centrally located. There are 4 parking spaces at the back of the hotel (to be booked in advance and pay at check in)

Not recommended if you don't like stairs.

The room was on the top (third) floor of the building. There was no lift and we had to climb up the stairs which were outdoors and all covered with snow with our heavy luggages. I surely wouldn't recommend this to those not willing to walk up and down the stairs every time you go out.

We had a car and the hotel charged us 180NOK each day for a parking space at the City Living Hotel, which was situated two blocks away from the apartment. I was not happy about the charges because after I parked the car, I saw a notice saying that the charge was only 150NOK per day. The hotel gave me a strong sense of dishonesty in this matter. Moreover, the pave way to the car park was extremely narrow. If one is driving a standard car, the sides of the car are likely to get scratched.

Good central location close to supermarkets and starting points for excursions. We really loved the apartment. Clean, comfortable, spacious and well laid out space. Kitchen was well stocked with quality appliances. Towels were changed on second day. The staff were friendly and helpful, everything ran smoothly. The apartment wasn't ready when we arrived, and we were only able to check in at 3 pm, however this didn't cause any issues as we left our luggage at the hotel and had a wonder round town. Only one point - The apartment we stayed in had steep stairs to the front door. They added to the charm of the place and we really liked them :), but could be a bit slippy in the ice/snow so would be difficult for someone with any mobility issues. Would definitely recommend!

A fiasco from the start. We booked (and paid) months in advance. When we arrived they said the room wasn't ready. By which they didn't mean they just had to change the sheets. No, the actual construction of the building in which the apartment was located was not ready! I arrived with my wife and two children to an apartment in a building still under construction: it smelled of paint and construction dust, the television was still in a box on the floor, and worst of all there was no heat (this was November in Tromsø; ie., 0 degrees!). We complained, they put us up in another place for the night, then cancelled the rest of our weekend without out request! A family of four on the streets of a freezing night in Tromso and they do absolutely nothing. The smug prig at reception topped off the horrid event. Beware booking an apartment here!

A great place. We stayed in an apartment room. It was not obviously apparent from the listing that this was in a location a block and a half away from the reception ( and town center) .... but that would not put me off returning.

Unpleasant place to stay

We booked an apartment before we left for our holiday and based on the advertisement we're excited about staying here. When we arrived we were put in a loft apartment which was not in itself so bad. However, there was no dishwasher, a feature specified in the booking advertisement, and a note saying that if we did not do our own dishes we would be charged an additional fee. The shower was terrible (constantly varying between hot and cold) and when I asked for it to be fixed I was told they tested it and it was fine. After a quick check it did seem to be ok, then when actually attempting a shower it started varying after about a minute. It also started to fill up in the base so I had to cut the shower short to avoid overflow. At night the apartments are near some sort of nightclub and the thumping bass makes it difficult to sleep, as does the uncomfortable bed.

The advertisement also said laundry services, which did not have (surcharge) written after it like many other services in the list. When I asked about using the laundry I was told it was 100 kroner, fine, we need clean clothes. Only when I actually took my washing down to the reception area to do a load was I told that the washers are ONLY available after 4pm.

Any of these things individually would not have made this a terrible place to stay, but combined it was by far the worst place we've stayed in Norway.

We stayed in one of the appartments and it was perfect. The hotel staff were very helpful and our stay was fantastic. We recommed booking early for any adventures (before your stay) as they get booked up really early. Our two were everything they said it would be and more!Our trip into the mountains for the lights was magical!

Great sized apartment, bedroom huge. Plenty of space for two. Very warm. Well equipped in kitchen.
Bang in centre of town, but no noise from either traffic or people. We visited in Winter. 2 minutes walk from supermarket.

Superb place - every facility provided - GREAT !

Stayed for one week and absolutely thrilled with our accommodation. Very clean, very well catered for and staff kind, knowledgeable and helpful.

Would definitely stay here again and recommend it completely.

Very good location central in Tromso - coffee and waffles in the afternoon and cheery and happy atmosphere.

Overall, we were very happy with the apartment, which was clean and conveniently located. The staff were helpful and curteous and provided us with clean towels on our 2nd day. Our only complaint would be that the hot water seemed to be lacking, in fact a few showers were luke warm (...which is not ideal during the winter.)

Helt greit i forhold til pris, men bærer preg av manglende vedlikehold. Kjøkkenvifte fungerte ikke, cisterne på bad bråkte og bruk av skjøteledninger. Verst var nok mangelfull brannsikring. Detektor av ukjent merke var plassert på lavest punkt i taket, lengst unna soverommet og det siste sted evt. røyk vil komme.
Mye snø under oppholdet og vei/trapp til leilighet ble ikke måket.

Stort avvik mellom bilder i annonse og faktisk utseende.

Küchenlicht hat Anfangs nicht funktioniert. Wurde nach der 2. Benachrichtigung repariert.Einrichtung in der Küche war etwas abgenutzt.Kücheneinrichtung hat gepasst,alles was wir brauchten war vorhanden. Netter Service,der gefragt hat ob wir frische Handtücher brauchen, in der Mitte unseres Aufenthaltes. Im Bad das Waschbecken war nicht dicht. In der Dusche hingen die langen Haare vom Vormieter an der Wand. Appartement war auch etwas hellhörig. Zum Glück hatten wir nur in der letzten Nacht Übermieter.Sehr schnell ist man in der Füssgängerzone und im Zentrum. Parkgebühr für PKW um die 20 Euro pro Tag, muss man aber buchen, denn einfach auf der Straße abstellen ist nicht erlaubt.

Bra utstyrt leilighet, gulv og store flater samt kjøkken og bad var bra vasket, men støvet på lister og mye skit under sofa og senger, veldig fuktig og tendens til råte på vinduer, i tillegg var vinduer møkkete. slitt og lite innbydende på utsiden, ingen uteplass. Vil ikke leie her igjen
