Happy with my stay

Nice staff, they didn’t answer my email with questions beforehand, so I’d maybe recommend calling.
The room was comfy, practical.

I love that it was a fridge and tiny kitchen, with some basic kitchen utensils.
The TV was tiny and far away from the bed and couch, so I didn’t use it. Good beds, with extra pillows in a closet. Space to place clothes in the closet too, with some hangers. The water pressure in the shower was good if I twisted the shower head to the right setting. The soap in the shower was good, and luckily not filled with fragrance. There was space underneath the sink to place toiletries.
The hotel is within walking distance to anything in the city centre, with a grocery store nearby as well.
I loved that I could open all the windows and let some air in, but it’s gonna be too loud outside to leave them open at night. But it’s well ventilated, so theres no issue. There was a heater that worked well to keep the room warm and cosy.
The blackout curtains worked well.

Met Nasrin on arrival. She had a wonderful way of greeting and being helpful throughout our 4 night stay which enhanced our time at the hotel.
The accommodation was warm in bad weather! The kitchen area was fine but lacked anywhere to dry dishes (could lead to water damage of units). The area around the table and chairs was very dark and would benefit from a light source. There was a loose socket on the TV wall (pointed out for health and safety reasons). Bathroom was adequately equipped and warm. Beds were comfortable. TV simple to use. Issues generally minor and pointed out to help. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Very centrally located making travel easy.

This property should be rate 2 or 3 stars.........rooms were extremely small (even though I got the room for 3 people), bathroom was the smallest I had seen...no amenities in the bathroom....no breakfast (they sent to a different hotel that is 10 minutes walk and has a below average breakfast for an expensive amount).

The staff at Enter City, from the front desk (Nasrin and Karolina) to the cleaning team (Maria) were incredibly welcoming. and I'm a little astonished that this facility has not received the highest marks possible. I got stranded in Tromso due to the Lufthansa strike, and so had to stay at the hotel twice (once at the last minute), and the second room was even more spacious and well appointed with a terrific view of the mountains. When I come back to Tromso with my family or university students, I will look no further than Enter City. Some of the hotels can feel quite sterile, but this place makes you feel right at home. I stayed at a few places while I was in the area, and this hands down, ranks as the best. I can't say enough great things about the staff, too!

Great hotel with lots of space in the room and a very friendly staff. Very walkable to everything downtown. It was also nice to have a key card access to not only our floor, but the entrance to the hotel as well. Only complaint is that there's only one mirror in the bathroom, so multiple women will struggle a bit.

Slight inconvenience for late check in at sister hotel, Viking. Found one bedside light out. Would have liked to use the hdmi port behind tv but it was not accessible. Window shades had to be always closed for privacy. Other guests noise occurred at 4am Sunday morning. We were still up anyways from a Northern Lights Tour that ended after midnight. Tourist center, tours meeting spot, restaurants and church all within walking distance. Kitchen facility, microwave and fridge were convenient. They were kind to hold our luggage after checkout while we had lunch nearby and before our trip back to the airport. Overall, our family would stay here again.

Excellent and convenient to stay in Tromso.

I stayed for five nights and it was very pleasant. My staff are very friendly and helpful. The location of the apartment-hotel is excellent and very secure. Everything (supermarkets, restaurants, tour activities) is within walking distance and quite convenient. The Airport Express bus stops half a block away. It costs 125 krone or 11.5 US dollars one way. My hotel room was efficient and had a kitchen if you want to cook and save money. It was snowing throughout my stay and the city view from my hotel window was a winter wonderland. I must say I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again when in Tromso.

I absolutely loved my stay at Enter City. The hotel is close to everything you need in Tromso, including restaurants, bus, and shops. They also have discounts through some of the restaurants in the area. My room was spacious and I really appreciated having the laundry facility on site. Eva and Alvin went above and beyond to make my stay a pleasant one, with great tips and made me feel very welcome - they were super helpful and kind. I also did a snowshoe tour through a vendor they recommend (with discount) and it was also fabulous.

We had a great 5 night stay at Enter City Hotel. It was easy to check in - we arrived just before the reception closed at 6pm on a Sunday. Process was seamless and fast. There is good security in this hotel as a key card was required for every door, so you know that no random people are coming to your location.

There is a large lift for people with heavy luggages and the room is really spacious for 2 of us. I think it could fit up to a family of 4 with no issues.

A nice touch in the hotel is that the toilet has warm flooring so we need not step on ice cold floor especially coming out of the bath during winter time. We missed it a lot after leaving Tromso and checking into a big chain hotel where the floor was so cold.

Location is perfect, 2 minutes walk towards the Airport Bus stop (Scandic Grand). Good restaurant options nearby as well. Many supermarkets around the corner - nearest one called Xtra is just less than one minute away. Well stocked and good priced. The main street is also just 2 minutes away. Easy to walk to tour pickup point all within 5 minutes (Scandic Ishavs/harbour).

Will recommend friends to stay and if i come back to Tromso i will definitely choose to stay at Enter City Hotel again.

We booked this hotel, because we came by car and wanted cheap parking. But there was no room for our car, the parking hall had only room for a few cars, and we had to park elsewhere. There was no mention in the description, that we should have called before hand.

The hotel is quite old, in my opinion, so it feels a bit \"unclean\", even though the room was clean well. Our fridge was broken and the cooking equipment was old... Soo, I don't think this was a good value for the money we spent, unfortunately.

We booked a day prior to the stay, for our last day of our road trip. Check in was smooth and reception staff was very friendly, warm & helpful! Our sofa bed was prepared quickly, with good amenities & mini kitchen in the room. Room size is comfortable enough for 3 of us and we had a good night sleep :)

Parking is available underground at a fee which helps us a lot! To note that the lobby and lift is slightly small but we managed to squeeze through with our backpacks. No issue when checking out and staff assist to book us a cab to airport.

Overall a great stay and will come back again if we were to visit once more. Thank you for the good service!

The hotel was in a good location in downtown and the room was clean and a good size for the cost. The bathroom floor was heated and they have a free laundry room which was great! They do not have housekeeping but I personally prefer it that way (only stayed 2 nights). However the only thing that bothered me, and maybe I read it wrong- they expect guests to throw out their own garbage. I’ve never seen this in any hotel I’ve stayed in. Overall it’s a good value if it’s at least 300-400NOK cheaper than the rest.

The room was spacious compared with another hotel I stayed in Tromso and it had a nice kitchen where you could cook. The laundry room in the basement (free) was very convenient to use. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast buffet, but I found a cafe near the hotel (a few minutes walk), which opened at 7 in the morning for weekends.

Delayed check-in - got to the hotel at 2:30pm for a stated 3pm check-in, was finally able to get my room at 5pm.

The hotel manager, Laura, was rude and unwilling to help with looking into excursions and activities for hotel guests. Being an international traveler, I did not have access to a phone in order to call local excursion companies to book activities, and when asking Laura for help, she refused to call a company that is not affiliated with the hotel. When I informed her that the wifi did not work and I could not look into the bookings myself because of this, she left me in the cold, saying \"good luck!\".

Comfy mid range hotel with a kitchen.

The hotel is near the wharf area. It’s at most a 10 minutes walk to anywhere in Tromso. Close to the restaurants and supermarts and very convenient. The small kitchen is good enough for small daily meals. It has everything you need to cook up a meal. A point to note, this is a mid budget hotel and there is no make up room. You can request for towel change by calling them. Otherwise it’s the same everyday throughout the period you stayed. If you can, take the 3rd level and up. 2nd Level has a patio/work balcony of sorts outside the window.

Location is great though Tromso centre itself is fairly easy to get around. Close to supermarket. Room was spacious and comfortable. Kitchenette was good as we used several times to save some money on food. Maeva at the desk check-in was very helpful and friendly. Gave us many tips and advice and allowed us to leave luggage overnight when we stayed in an igloo. Only negative if at all was the shower size, a little cramped but good pressure and hot! Would recommend staying here.

It's an amazing hotel. Just need to know beforehand that there are 2 other Enter hotels in the area. Had to walk a couple of blocks after being dropped off by the express bus near a different Enter Hotel.
Other than that, front desk people were very helpful. Room facilities were sufficient. Plus, they said, my room was upgraded.
Would stay again in this hotel the next time I visit.

Convenient location but be aware of traffic noise

The hotel is located at the city centre. It was exceptionally hot during my stay in Tromso. There’s no aircon in the room so I needed to leave the windows open. The noise from the traffic (the whole night) is imaginable. If you’re a light sleeper like me, you may wish to ask for a room not facing the street (I’m not sure if they have it) or wear your earplugs. Nevertheless, the room condition in particular the shower area is quite good.

View from window was of a shed, weeds and overlooked by other ugly buildings.
Tiny apt with tiny bathroom. It was quite central to the Main Street and did offer parking. It was clean.

Basic room that is clean.

Very convenient location. 6 min walk from Oslo sentrum station. No TV (there are TV in the lobby) in the room but that could be a good thing as you wouldn't be able hear excessive noise from adjacent rooms. Everything from check in to check out is self-service although there is an office with some staff to help. No coffee machines in room, you need to go to the lobby and pay 15Kr (about $2) for a cup from a vending machine. Fridge and microwave shared by all the guests in the common area although it is generally kept quite clean. It is a basic hotel with zero luxury. You may expect more for the price of about 845 kr (about $110) but I guess the bare basics is all you get in Oslo..

Perfect location, nice and comfy room with kitchenette. The restroom flooring is heated!

Nice Stay

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Any help required the hotel reception staff were happy to help us with. Room was clean and having basic kitchen facilities was good.
