We had to go to the front desk three times to get a key to open the door, then maintenance came bc it was broken. The toilet smelled like old pee the whole time. The window was broken and couldn’t close so it was drafty. There was a dirty towel on the floor when we checked into the room.

We arrived late at night so we did not realize they gave us the wrong view. We paid more for a pool view that we did not receive. Check in was easy, staff was friendly. The rooms are outdated but spacious. Perfect if you are staying more than a few nights as it has a kitchen with cups, plates etc. Not the typical hotel we would stay in so it was definitely a one time stay for us but it worked for this particular trip as we were not there except to sleep.

Check in took 1hr long - waited 30 mins in a massive line then another 30mins for the check in process. It was already 530pm and room wasn't ready. Was offered a different room, of course, I took it cause front desk said housekeeping was still working on it and doesn't know long it would take. Got to the room. This is an old building and you would be able to tell immediately as soon as you walk in. The smell and the floor in our room was so sticky. I tried to call concierge but busy signal a few times I tried. Staff came by to drop off linens for the pull out sofa - we told him we'll need someone to mop the floor as it was quite dirty. He said he would send someone but no one ever came. Our kids enjoyed the heated pool. We stayed one night and will most likely never return.

Room was huge which was great for my large family! Some upgrades I would suggest washer/dryer in room would be great as well as SMART TVs. The staff was friendly. The amenities were nice but more needed for families. Mini Golf or Arcade would make it great! Pool was nice and large but always crowded adding another pool with a Waterslide would take it over the top as well as a restaurant on property. But overall we had a nice time!

I get it now, but no places to eat. I asked what time they have breakfast, and the guy at the desk just laughed at me and said no. First time here, so I knew nothing.
Other guests were nice and helpful. The guy who changed my paper from yellow to orange or something like that is the one who laughed at me.

The resort itself is nice upon first glance until you check into the room and realize that not only is it dated it is mold infested so if you have allergies to mold like myself avoid at all cost. The first room I was given had a broken AC and very musty but the second one was worse. I will let the pictures speak for themselves!

A great place to stay with family. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable too. The have most everything you need to do the basic things in the kitchen. But what stood out the most was how fabulous the staff! My daughter and her small childten were traveling alone for the first time. We originallly planned to meet her at the airport to help her get the children and their luggage to the condo/hotel but our flight was majorly delayed. I contacted the front desk staff and they helped her and the childtrn check iin with our permission as they were staying with us. It took away alot of stress for my daughter and us as grandparents. She had already waited 2 hours to only find out we were going to be another 3 or 4 hours. There were so many unforeseen issues at the airport due to the weather, then the federal shut down affected the TSA agents. On top of not enough bus driver, as they only had 3 buses to cover the entire airport, durning spring break! My husband and I didnt arrive until 1:15AM. Thank God the staff here was very understanding and made everything go smoothly for my daughter and young grandkids We didnt have to worry about her alone at the airport with all the luggage and two sleeping children. My daughter and grandchildten wete safely tucked into their beds, fast asleep when we arrived. She had texted us, saying she felt very safe and the staff was very helpful and kind. We had a blast with the kids, teaching them to swim, in the warm pool too.

We were given a room that was not cleaned, advised staff who said they'd send someone and after 3 hours of being away, no cleaning. We were told our room was moved and someone would bring us the new room key but no one ever did. So we went to the desk to complain and the clerk was apologetic and kind. The supervisor tried to refund resort fees but needed someone else to assist with that.

laundry machines were on floor, $2 to wash and $2 to dry but left a burnt smell to clothes. You pay on an app, min you can add is $10. I'm not sure if u can use coins also. Small machines but got the job done and they were clean. Air conditioning could of been better, lowest temp you can set 68 degrees, Beds def need updating, they were uncomfortable to sleep on. Clean rooms, updating is a must as these timeshares are from the 1980's. Bathroom was old school Formica but the showers were clean. If you plan on getting a seat by the pool u need to be up and down there by 730am.. not enough seats by the pool, we ended up paying to go to a private beach club in Ft. Lauderdale on resorts for a day.com. Check in is at 4pm, we were able to get in at 315pm. And check out is at 10am. Grounds keeping, maintenance men were very nice.

The property is clearly dated but upkept very nicely and clean. Our rooms were clean and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were ok we didn’t need them for anything past check in. Even though they asked me to fill out a registration form at check in, the information was never updated to my profile. The only thing I really disliked about this property and will affect my rating is the super early check out that they are so strict with. 10am check out was too early for my family of four, when I asked there wasn’t even a second thought to accommodate us for an additional hour which is the usual check out time at other properties. We stayed 6 days I feel there should have been some accommodation for us, I don’t think I’ll stay in the future due to the early check out time.

This property is in needs of a serious makeover. It’s as clean as you could make a dog eared, thoroughly worn properly look. The last time the interior walls were painted, they went ahead and painted the baseboards the same color. And that paint job was probably 8/10 yrs ago. The whole community looked tired too. The reception area was probably circa 1975 for example. Hopefully this helps get some traction and incentive to show some attention to detail. Thanks

Check in process was quick and easy. However, upon entering my room, there was an odor that smelled like pets and feet. I went back to front desk and they changed my room without a fuss. There was someone cooking in the room next door and whatever they were making smelled very burned and the odor was extremely strong. I returned to the front desk and was a bit disappointed in the initial response that they had no other available rooms and they would send someone to spray something in my room to \"see\" if that helped and if not they would find me a new room. I pressed them to say that I had prepaid through Expedia and should not have an issue with getting a room that I would be comfortable in and free from sneeze triggering odors. had to basically plead with them to just switch my room because I did not want to have to deal with that issue for my entire stay. Eventually after about 15-20 minutes they accomodated me. Besides lack of parking by the building where I was staying and the issue with the odors, everything else was great. Unfortunately, we did not get to use the pool, but the area was beautiful!! The stay was quiet and relaxing...would definitely return to this property!

Check-in begins at 4 PM. The line is long taking about an hour or so. The process is very slow and cumbersome with lots of forms to fill in and fees (Security deposit, towel deposit, etc.) to approve. When you finally get to your room, if there's any problems and you need to change rooms you get to repeat the process.

The property is located next to a busy freeway, so leaving the balcony door open for a breeze includes freeway noise, day and night.

The property is older and dated. The furniture and cabinets are cheap and well worn. The bed was rock solid, and the mattress cover was plastic and did not 'breath' creating an uncomfortable sleeping condition, especially in Florida's humidity.

The pool areas were very overcrowded. People would wait by the gate for the pool to open at 8 AM and rush to claim the tables and chairs then leave some personal items and return to their rooms, so if you were even considering relaxing by the pool during some point that day you would need to do the same 'chair stampede' at 8 AM. Also, the pool area is lit up like a prison yard at night, so keep that in mind if you have a 'pool view' room. We paid extra for that, and I guess we were lucky at check-in when none were available (no refund, either).

We are never staying here ever again! Within 4 days' time we saw several police cars and officers. We don't know what they were doing there, but we've never seen that before. If you're doing it right, most vacations don't include the police. The pool was extremely loud and not relaxing at all. There were more people jammed into the water than I'd ever seen before. Don't even think about getting a chair near the pool. This place has people waiting for it to open so they can save chairs for everyone they know. The vacation village was right on the highway...and the pool was in between the highway and the condos making it the loudest pool in existence. We didn't even bother going to the pool. There shouldn't be anyone with a megaphone anywhere, especially poolside. Check-in was awful. We showed up at 2:30 for a 4:00 check-in. A little too early, but the manager did all of the paperwork for us so that we just had to come back at 4 to pickup the keys. When we came back at 4, the person who \"helped \"us was super rude. We went up to room at 10 past 4 to find them still cleaning it. We waited until about 4:30 to get into the room. We tried napping, but were woken up by an employee standing IN OUR ROOM asking us for our dirty laundry. Um, why didn't you knock? This place needs to to get their act together. We were greeted by feral cats every time we went to our car. Please have those removed. In 30+ years of traveling this was the 2nd worst one. NOT HAPPY

Checkin was at 3:00 to 4:00pm. We were not given a room until after 6:30pm. We kept calling the front desk to ask if our room was ready and received a different answer from different staff members. Once we were assigned a room, the room was not ready. The housekeeper was very upset that the front desk released the room before housekeeping notified the front desk that the room was ready to be occupied.
Once we were settled in we were able to enjoy our stay.

Check in was horrible. This resort does not make check in easy for the disabled.
We checked in around 2pm and was given our parking pass and was told to call around 4pm to see if our unit was ready. I called at 4 and was told the unit was not ready. We drove back to the registration office to retrieve our keys and there was a very long line to get the keys. Being disabled, I couldn’t stand to long so I asked two staff members separately for a chair to sit in while in line. I was told no by both. When I told the young woman staff member that I wouldn’t last 5 minutes and would collapse on the floor. She LAUGHED at me. I gave up and found a seat on a low seating sofa. I asked 2 people in line to please hold my spot so I could sit down. I finally was able to get my keys about 5;10. This is so unacceptable.

We checked in very late on a Friday night - myself, my husband, our 2 young children and my mom. When we arrived for check-in, I was not greeted with a smile from any of the 4+ workers behind the desk. The entire check-in process took 45 + minutes and at one point i was told they were \"trying to find a room for us.\" They claimed it was a \"first come, first serve basis\" but I had reserved the rooms months in advance. The employee's talked to each other but had minimal communication with me as I sat and waited for the process. They eventually moved us to a different, older property than what I reserved. The rooms were very outdated in the \"Egret Building\" (where we ended up being checked in to). When I asked questions about the property they were moving us to, the employees were very unhelpful and said \"we're just the night shift.\" The pool was more like a motel's pool. I was very disappointed as I booked this as a kid-friendly vacation and was particularly looking forward to a kids pool for my young children and ended up with much less in our room and building area. They do offer shuttle rides to and from each of the properties but this is an added step and inconvenience with two young children. The pool at the Weston property is very busy and finding chairs is very difficult. Overall, the room in the Egret Building was very large and did accommodate us, however, it is not what I booked and I would have enjoyed the more resort-feel of the Weston property.

The online check-in was pretty standard. However, once at the Vacation Village registration office the small pocket folder with our room keys also had 2 business-size cards for use at the pool to be presented for issuance of towels for use in the pool area with cards to be returned to the guest when towels were returned. The cards had a note printed informing guests to return the cards upon check out to avoid being billed for the towels. We only stayed in our suite for about 10 hours and did not use the pool or any other resort facilities. We were sure to check out in person and handed key-cards and Towel use cards to a member of the hospitality team in the registration office in person. There were no instructions about options for returning the towel cards to avoid additional charges for anyone using the phone or on-line check out procedures.

Upon check-in, we were not given the room that we paid for/reserved. We were told that they overbooked & could not give us the room we paid for & we would have to come back in the morning. We came back in the morning and they said the room was still not available and we should get a text message when it would be available and we waited & never received a text message. We went back to the front desk again and my husband had to ask for the room again and was told to come back after two. We came back in the evening & they still didn’t have the room or keys ready for us and my husband had to wait for a manager- it was late at night at this point & we were really frustrated and disappointed. Total of 3 visits to get the room we booked and when we went to our room, it still did not have the pool view that we were told it would have upoun booking & the view was obstructed/not a full pool view. Overall, our experience was not great & we would not really stay here again. The pool was overpopulated and there were no chairs on ANY day that we tried to visit. It was so disappointing as we wanted to relax on a chair and soak up the sun but all day the chairs were reserved and not one came open. We left in the afternoons and hit the beach but next time will just stay at a beach property. We totally over paid for what we had - add the horrible customer service having to go to them 3 times for our room & then still not get the right room & a over populated pool- we won’t come back/recommend

On both reservations, we were told at the 4:00 PM guaranteed check in time that our room was not ready. We were not alone. There were at least 60 plus guests in the lobby being told the same thing. It was extremely frustrating, and I genuinely felt bad for the front desk staff who were left to manage what appears to be a seriously flawed check in process.

During our first stay, we did not receive our room until 6:00 PM. On our second visit, it was about an hour past check in before our room was available. When we finally got into the room, it was 80 degrees due to a broken AC unit. Maintenance ultimately moved us to another room.

The A side rooms are spacious and reasonably clean, but the repeated check in delays and room issues made both stays frustrating, especially considering we were only staying overnight before and after a cruise.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel and would strongly encourage others to consider alternative options.

I have been traveling for more than 30 years, and this has undoubtedly been the most challenging check-in experience I have ever encountered. The line extended outside the door, and once I reached the front, I was informed of additional fees that were not disclosed anywhere during the booking process, specifically a $150 deposit that may take up to 30 days to be refunded after check-out (please ensure you read what you sign). Furthermore, I was informed that cash was not accepted, and the manager was of no assistance whatsoever. After visiting the bank to deposit the necessary funds for the fees, I found myself in an even longer line than before. They attempt to sell time shares during check-in, which further delays the process. Once I finally completed the check-in, I arrived at the room, which was quite outdated. You share a private hallway with the adjacent room, and it becomes exceedingly noisy when the doors open and close. However, the location is excellent, and the other guests were very amiable.
