Staff, needs to take classes on customer service, as a recovering knee replacement patient I was forced to walk down three flights of stairs due to elevator not working.Also, the young man at the desk didn’t care at all. I told him I wanted to speak to management. He said management will be in at 9 AM and there’s nothing that I can do about it.

I am thoroughly disappointed and disgusted. I couldn't stay the second night - it was that bad.
1) black hair in the sink, kitchen floor on the bed - I have blonde hair
2) Shampoo was used, and also had hair wrapped around it
3) The shower curtain rod is broken. Fell on my head when I was getting out of the shower
4) A fruit label was stuck to the kitchen floor, an additional indication that the room was not cleaned.
5) I called the front desk for a new room, and he said he cannot move me until morning... I called Expedia and decided to find a new hotel
6) Apple juice was rancid at breakfast
7) The hallways had stains and chunks of stuff stuck to the floor.
8) I did not feel safe in the hotel or outside
9) It smelled like smoke
I spoke to Expedia and they helped me move to another hotel for the second night. THANK YOU!!!

Choose this hotel for conscience to attend a funeral. Problems: Front elevator was down, knob came off shower, free snacks only not a breakfast, no napkins, absolutely loud banging doing the day, dogs barking all night, furniture cracked, no ice machines but able to get from front desk, tile coming off the wall, nothing to cook with-why have a stove & dishwasher,

The bathroom door handle was broken so the door would not stay shut and could not lock. Bathroom tub has an adhesive mat that I thought was removable, but was stuck to the tub.

The hotel had ran out of toilet paper. They had no towels when you went for breakfast. It was really nothing in there. When we asked where the laundry facility was, they said it wasn’t working. This hotel did not have much at all. I don’t think I will stay there again. P.s the bathroom door had a hole like someone kicked the bottom of it and the bedroom door had a crack by the handle

Don’t spend your money!!! Our room was super dirty, covers had stains and burn holes in it. Smell was horrendous. We paid for 2 days but left immediately when looking at the room. The front desk would only refund us for 1 day which is very crazy. I will be calling the BBB and the Attorney General asap. I have pictures as well.

This location was not clean at all, the elevator close to the office was out of order so we had to walk to the elevator that was what seemed like a block away. The room that we got, smelled like butt, feet and prostitutes. People were coming in and out through the front entrance all night as we were trying to check in at 11:30 pm. We had to cancel our stay amd go to a different Hotel. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. The ONLY good thing for this place was Micheal who was our attendee that was sitting in for the regular attendee. Micheal was very attentive, professional, amd nice and tried to accommodate us the best that he could.

My room was clean but the hotel was not very well kept or clean in the common areas. Exit doors propped upon with rocks I’m assuming from long term stay people? Breakfast was offered but gone within 20 mins of serving and similar to gas station snacks. I stayed a whole weekend and never seen housekeeping once or had my towels refreshed. No trash can in my room either, thank god I had a Walmart bag for trash.parking lot was not clean, and the guests were cleaning their car in the parking lot out back as if it was a local car wash. If I could request a refund I would.

The 2 rooms we used had stained carpets, one of the doors was missing a hinge and did not close, one of the windows didn’t close, the plug for the hair dryer was split apart and the smoke detector was hanging from the wall. I rarely leave reviews, but this stay was beyond unacceptable. The Baymont Hotel was hands-down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Cleanliness: Nonexistent
From the moment we walked in, the hotel reeked of urine. The smell was nauseating and unavoidable. The floors were sticky, and every carpet was heavily stained—not just in one room, but throughout the property. It honestly felt like the place hadn’t been properly cleaned in months, if not longer.

Safety & Security Issues
We had three rooms booked. Two of them would not open with the key cards completely non-functional. The third room was even worse: the door was already unlocked when we arrived and wouldn’t lock at all. That’s a terrifying safety risk, especially in an area where police were already present on site due to other guest disputes. The environment was chaotic and concerning.

Front Desk Service: Disgraceful
Initially, the front desk staff promised a refund due to the situation, which gave us some hope. But after checking out, they refused to answer our calls and completely dodged responsibility. No follow-up, no refund, and no professionalism.

Police Involvement
Yes—you read that right. The police were there handling disputes with other guests. That should be a red flag to anyone considering staying here.

Final Verdict: DO NOT STAY HERE.
This hotel is in complete disrepair, unsafe, and managed with zero accountability. Spend your money elsewhere literally anywhere else would be better.

After checking in we went to our room. The elevator, the only one working, was so filthy. There was a used Qtip on the floor. In the hallway just outside our room were men sitting in the hallway talking on their phones. The room didn't feel clean. After only 15 minutes we left and found another hotel. We felt very unsafe.

The listed amenities at both hotels.com and the location’s website did not match what we received. Hotels.com did not indicate the location was under renovation. The hotel had an unpleasant smell. There were no towels when we got to our room. We were able to get two sets of towels from the front desk, but there were three of us. We went back for more towels four times, but they never had another set available. There was no coffee maker in the room, though it was a listed amenity. The sofa bed was unusable. There were no dishes, cups, glasses, flatware, or cooking equipment. There were broken light fixtures. The air conditioning worked well and the beds were fine. It was reasonably quiet. The staff tried, but they simply did not have what was needed (towels). All of the issues are possibly explained by the heatwave and ongoing renovation. It is essential that hotels.com update the information about this location. (June, 2025)

Area wasnt terrible, it was loud at night, lots of noise, yelling, people burning out in parking lot. Our room was disgusting but we were not familiar with area and were only staying til early morning. The room was disgusting, there was food splashed all on side of fridge and floor, the bathtub was disgusting and not usable. The front desk people didnt really seem enthused or helpful, so we just decided to check bed and make sure everything was clean and get some sleep and head home in morning. We didnt use the fridge microwave or shower. It says no smoking but the whole building smelled like stale cigarettes and none of the elevators worked so we had to take stairs which was hard to find. Overall we were not happy even for 67 bucks the worse room we have ever stayed in

Unfortunately, even after attending g at the registration desk at 12:30 pm to inform front clerk that we would be arriving after 11:00 pm, we were told it wouldn't be an issue. No need to check in earlier. (I did complete the online check-in sent 24 hours ahead of date).
When we arrived at the property about midnight, we had to knock hard on lobby doors several times; there was no entry buzzer/intercom, and no one was answering my cell phone calls directly to the front desk.

A staff person, night clerk?, was finally walking through the lobby and helped us enter. We were told we were getting the "last available" room in the building.

By now it was close to 12:30 a.m. There were no towels, soaps, any type of glasses or coffee maker in the room. Which, incidentally was a suite , and one would have expected it to be set up with kitchenware and extra bedding.

We were happy to leave early the next morning.

Expected a fairly decent room. Our first room had stains, big spots on the floor, damaged walls, lights that didn't work, and an office chair that looked absolutely nasty. They switched us to a better room, but there were still lights that didn't work, the office chair was filthy, and the bed was only just ok enough to sleep on. I also had to reprogram the remote so it would work with the TV, but it only barely worked.

The people who checked me in were nice enough, but disorganized. When we got our room, it looked very run down, with gouges in the walls, missing floorboards, etc. We weren't even given bath towels until we went to get them. When my husband asked for some, he was told people keep stealing them. The smell of marijuana permeated the halls all weekend. A key to our room was given to another guest in error, so strangers walked into our room. Nobody even apologized to us for this until my keycard was then inactivated and I had to go have it reactivated. I would not stay here again.

The rooms were in terrible shape and not very clean. I had to clean the sticky floor. Microwave was burnt on the top, kitchen cupboard door was broken. Shower rod was as rusty. The floors smelt terrible. Thank god we spent most of our time away. My advice is to spend a little more and get a better hotel. The pictures that are posted must of been from centuries ago.
