It’s definitely more like a 3.5 star hotel. Very nice location, Room is clean. We got a villa which has its own pool, but there few large cockroaches swimming in it as well as a few dead ones in our bathroom when we checked in. The gym is 5 star besides a few broken machines, and the food drinks were pricey, as is the entire island shops. Beach was a bit rough sand. I was expecting soft white sand. Massage staff was excellent. Just wish other staff knew the location of activities.

Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang was a mixed experience and definitely not a true five-star stay.

Pros
•Friendly, helpful staff
•Great shower pressure
•Decent spa treatments
•Resort credit given when we had to switch rooms

Cons
•Cleanliness and maintenance are lacking — the resort feels dated and not well cared for. Didn’t even feel comfortable taking my shoes off in the room
•Ants in our villa, making it unusable and requiring a room change into the main hotel
•Food quality is inconsistent, and we ended up with food poisoning on our last day — I’d avoid the American-style dishes. Birds flying throughout the restaurant landing on pastries was disgusting
•Definitely not a genuine 5-star experience in terms of upkeep or overall quality. Maybe 3-star at best

Staff encourage guests to leave a 5-star review on the spot and stand by while it’s submitted, which clearly inflates the hotel’s ratings.

Overall

Kind staff and a solid spa couldn’t make up for the cleanliness issues, villa problems, and food poisoning. I’d give it 2 out of 5 and wouldn’t return unless major improvements are made.

We rented 3 rooms one of the room sheet was dirty and other rooms was ok but not what to expect from a 5 start hotel.
The restaurant food and service was horrible it took 45 minutes for a sandwich which was cold!

Most importantly the beach was dirty and smelly! There was a smelly and dirty water came directly to the beach I think it was pool shower or sewer from elsewhere, but super smelly that one of our friend got headaches.

Overall this place can’t be more than a 3 start place in western standard.

The hotel was nice and clean with lots of different pools to enjoy from and a nice play area for small children. The hotel and shopping area are very kid friendly which suited our family well. The place is well suited for people who plan to stay at the vinpearl area. However, traveling from the resorts to anywhere outside the resort area will need golf cart rides and traveling to Na trang will require golf cart rides to the cable car area, cable car ride to get to the city and taxi rides to get around so it could end up being a quite a journey.

Our best resort in Vietnam

We stayed at different Vinpearl resorts and hotels but Vinpearl Nha Trang resort is still our favorite. We felt the welcome attitude from the staffs, especially Ms. Thuyen - the manager - she was very friendly, we couldn’t get the late check out from the front desk but she decided to gave us the late check out. They have excellent customer services, room was clean, comfortable. The only thing was uncomfortable: some of local customers cut the waiting line at the restaurant and at the front desk ; the Russian customers took our seats at the beach even with our personal things on it - not the resort’s fault. We will visit again

I love the speedboat in the cable cars. The hotel is located right next to the beach and has an amazing swimming pool that my son absolutely loved. The Vinpearl is a definite must!

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Buffet was very good with many choices. View was nice. The cable car and boat transport was great. However, twin beds were very small to fit alot of ppl, option for another bed was available. Pool was ok but could be deeper. Beach has jellyfish for view only not really swimmable. The restaurant was very expensive compare to the harbor. Overall, would recommend and well worthed for the deal.

Property and room is overall nice and clean but service and hospitality is terrible. You need to wait around 30 mins or more for shuttles to get back and forth to your hotel. They require you scan your face like 3x before being allowed to go anywhere. Very poor directory and no one can help with anything. Need to think it over if you want to stay home where that does not require a long wait time.

If you hungry between the hours of 4-6 good luck. You’ll need to travel to the harbor to get food or do room service. The bathroom in the room is so gross. Mold and mildew everywhere. There’s even ring marks where the previous guests left the cup on the bathroom sink countertop. They also gave us opened lotion bottle. The rooms are not sound proof. I could hear the kid Nextdoor scream his lungs off while the parents yelled at him.

A completely novel experience.

The facilities are dated. The service can be a little slow. But overall, so beautiful and at the price point I think a great deal. The breakfast is pretty good, go early if you want less of a crowd. The food overall was well priced (higher than usual Vietnam prices but well lower than equivalent properties in the US) and delicious. The resort will not allow you to bring in more than a small snack, with a large fine if you try - you have to sign off at check-in. The pools are cold. The main large pool has loud music and lots of kids. There is a pool on the side that was usually totally quiet and empty. Vinpearl Harbor was such a trip- like a mostly abandoned Disneyland crossed with a dead mall. Guests during my stay were not an outgoing bunch, and I think I was the only American on property! I think this resort would be best for a young family with children who wanted to have a budget vacation that feels high-end and to go to VinWonders.

A Mixed Experience

I recently stayed at Vinpearl Resort in Nha Trang, Vietnam, and while the location and amenities are impressive, my experience was marred by several issues.

Accommodation: Unfortunately, my stay was affected by the condition of the villas. Villa No. 6017 was mold-infested, and despite requesting action, it took two weeks to relocate us. The new villa was not much better, which was disappointing and the private pools' cleaning system was broken, and the lights were glitching, which was quite inconvenient.

Service: The service at Vinpearl Resort has worsened over the past eight years. The staff were not as attentive or responsive as expected, and the overall service quality has declined. During checkout, nobody seemed to care, and I had to carry my luggage myself. Additionally, transport between locations within the resort is rare and crowded, with waiting times ranging from 10 to 30 minutes.

Overall Experience: While Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang has the potential to be a tropical paradise, my recent experience was overshadowed by the poor condition of the villas, declining service quality, and the cleanliness of the beach. I hope the management addresses these issues to restore the resort to its former glory.

We booked the 3 bedroom villa and it was spacious for our family of 4 travelling with grandparents and an uncle. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool is deep with no kid safety fence so have to be extra careful with watching kids. Facilities were great and buffet breakfast was delicious

Finding the place was a disaster. If only they answer their phones at reception, it may have helped.
Every time I ordered a meal or drink I was declined and forced to walk up to reception who couldn’t understand a word I was saying in English. The place is full of cameras which scan your face even to sit down at dinner. Kind of like being in Brave New World story by Mr Huxley!
Aside from the above, the hotel, its location and pool is amazing and absolutely stunning. The food in buffet was a a 10/10. The bar staff need a personality and some lessons. Nothing worse than sitting down for a quiet mojito and being greeted by a mute 🤐
With a little more personality and professionalism this place would be an easy 5 star. Perhaps take a leaf out of the friendly and charismatic hotels in the Pacific Islands like Fiji.

The resort is wonderful. We traveled with two children aged 9 and 6, and the facilities are great. Buggy and cable cars are very convenient. Medical centre at the resort was handy. Vin Wonders theme part is excellent. On check in there was an issue with our room, mixed up with a friend, but it was sorted the next day. Only downside is staff don’t speak great English, so the transfer we booked from the resort to the airport never showed and we almost missed our flight. Be sure to get everything in writing where both sides understand - we didn’t get the transfer back in writing, only paid at reception, and there was no record on the morning. Staff did pay for our taxi to the airport (driver was amazing, he got us there on time).

Beautiful views and great water sport offerings

Great service from staff, beautiful views and villa was clean. Except, the kitchen was empty. If we needed crockery or cutlery we’d have to request with the front desk which was inconvenient but not a huge deal. Don’t understand how a sizeable kitchen was completely empty of except for tea and coffee. Defeats the purpose of having a villa with a kitchen.

The buffet breakfast was average given the size of the hotel I expected more variety and quality offerings. Maybe it’s because it’s low season.

The redeeming quality of our stay were the water sports offered including parasailing and snorkelling in an enclosed man-made cove. Would return.

A fantastic place to stay with family or as a couple. The resort was great and the villas are the best I’d ever stayed in. Super modern and very large and extravagant.
The property is huge, so moving around is easy with a golf cart service provided whenever and wherever you need to go across the resort and island.
Super close ride to the Harbour Town for restaurants and shopping and also close to the theme park.

I would highly recommend this place to stay!

It’s on an island so keep in mind if you wanting to explore Nha Trang, you would have to take speed boat or cable car across the island. These transportation has no air conditioning system so you’ll be waiting in the extreme heat.

Fault advertisements! This place advertised to be able to sleep 12 but when check in the charged us another $120 because we have 7 people. They only allowed 6 adults and 6 children. Also, the rooms we booked supposed to include with the amusement park entry fees. When we show up at park they want to change us $30 each. We didn’t want to pay another $210 we felt ripped off so we left!! Not a good place if you just want to spend time without family!! The food and scenery were fantastic bit the service was horrible!!

As a family of three, we had a wonderful time at this resort. We travelled in early October and the weather was superb and the resort wasn’t busy at all. There were no waiting times.
The staff at the resort are all very friendly and we appreciated the care and help they provided us with everything. Nothing was too much trouble.
We booked a grand room with a balcony and ocean view. For the tiny extra amount the extra space and views were definitely worth it. We had an extra bed in our room for our 11 year old son and there was still plenty of room.
The pool is huge and we almost had it to ourselves often!
We would love to come and stay again!

Buffet was great. On 1 of the days the dinner buffet was held at the pool side with live band. Lobster was served.
The pool is massive though it would be better if have more shades. Beach is super clean but lack shades as well. There is a warning sign on jelly fish but still many people swimming away. Gym is reasonably big. There are bicycles and a tennis court.
The room bed and pillow are comfortably soft. With a smart tv, you can even watch netflix. Wifi is available almost everywhere in the resort compound.
Buying the amusement park ticket from the reception cost 880,000 per person. English occasionally a problem.

This is classed as a 5-star resort, but more realistically it rates more like a good 4-star. I has the gloss and facade, but the substance is lacking in a number of key areas. Staff were excellent, surroundings were great, pool was very pleasant and relaxing. Overall the food was very good, but one of our party was ill with stomach/gastro problems twice whilst at the resort, although the precise cause remains uncertain. Overall very good, but one questions whether it is truly \"value for money\", as it were. Staff were excellent, on the whole. Pools were great, child facilities were good. Food was great for quality and variety, as was our one and only experience with room service. Transport to and from the island was good fun, and mostly well handled.

Swimming pool is a bit dirty .Saw A LOT OF Dirt at the bottom of swimming pool .beach is clean , nice of staffs 4 sending us a piece of cake to our room on welcome day and our bed is nicely decorated with flowers . But the bathroom ,shower head is an old model.Room is getting old. phu Quoc room is bigger and is a lot better than Nha Trang.I would not come back here again but Vinpearl phu Quoc is yes.

The only slight criticism is that there is not that many restaurants to choose from. One night we ate in the a la carte restaurant and the other night the buffet. It would be nice if there was more choice in the resort

Excellent place for your family vacation. The views of the mountains and oceans were amazing. The pool is massive. It's a great place for young kids since there were many shallow areas and a kid area as well. Resort activities included the usual pool games and water aerobics. The kids really enjoyed the evening movies on the beach as well. The food at the buffet restaurants Jasmine, a la carte were also very good. Our family really enjoyed our Vinpearl stay and would recommend anyone to stay here. We also enjoyed the bowling alley and Karaoke facility on site as well!

Beautiful place. Expected to be more up to date for a five star hotel. Ceiling, trims, need more cleaning and paint deatail. The door lock broken, the staffs informed will be fix but never did during my stay.

The staff had no clue and no Information available

Checking in was a disaster, the staff were clueless with no organisation at all. There was little to no information about the hotels facilities and location of activities, areas and amenities. Most of the restaurants were closed and there was little variability between the dining and food options.

Great Hotel on the beach

Not very Australian orientated (many Russian and Chinese). Very little advice or instructions on Hotel facilities. Fantastic location and really nice staff (both local and Russian). We stayed 8 days and food was nice however very monotonous. Not much variety. No ATM facilities. It appeared that all other guests had all meals included and access to Vin Pearl Land with their package. We felt quite alienated from other guests. Otherwise this was a beautiful location with excellent facilities. Would stay there again however would be more experienced with package inclusions next time as we had no access to cable car or ATM facilities without paying to get in to Amusement Park.

VinPearl World - Disneyland's odd Asian Cousin.

Attached to the Vin Pearl Amusement Park. Whole island has a isolated feel. 'VinPearl World' is not going to give you a typical look at Vietnamese Life at all. The hotel is full of Russians and Chinese, neither are very friendly. Breakfast was great. Pool and beach in July are super hot 40+* so fairly empty in the middle of the day. Best part of the 2nights/3 days? The waterpark and inflatables on the water. Super fun. Just be aware of the Chinese who hog all the slide mats and rings. And go early because its darn hot!!

Nice hotel, not so good beach

Nice hotel. Nice and super friendly staff.

We were however disappointed with the condition of the beach. We expected the beach to be much cleaner considering the resort is on an isolated island and has a private beach. The staff was working hard to remove trash being washed up on the sand each day. But the fact that there was trash to remove and to clean shows the ocean water in that area is not clean. Water was murky for most days we were there. We saw diapers, lots of plastic bags, bottles, vegetables etc.. being washed up on the sand.
Not a fault of the hotel, unfortunately just the quality of beach in Vietnam in general.
