3 star unless you complain to get a better room.
Only thing 5 star here was the Housekeeper, she deserves a raise for exceptional service.

Check in took 10 minutes. luggage guy took 2 tips, once from my wife and didn't say she tipped him already when i tipped him.
Room was uncomfortably hot and AC didnt work entire hotel, tv didn't work, bathroom light broken, room for broken.
Paid for Sea View was given a view entirely of a dirty roof which held security concern of outside people entering from the balcony or peeping. until I complained and reception made me write a agreement to delete my online feedback as a Condition to change my room which is Quite unprofessional to require that. New room was far better though, bigger shower too.
Housekeeper did fantastic with romance service in 2311, was lovely. Breakfast had decent options but staff took my silverware even after i told him to leave it and next day took my wife's newly obtained cup of cereal right in front of her, ridiculous. Indoor Pool was nice and warm tho has too much chlorine it was burning our skin after being in only 2 minutes. Towels were hard to find, staff didn't give clear direction where to find and required 20 dinar deposit each wondered around asking staff where until decided to go back to reception to ask where towel person is. Restaurant by the pool up the glass outside elevator is little expensive but their food is worth it, very delicious and a fantastic view. Beach has a security at all times.

Don’t expect a 5 star resort, that way you will not be disappointed.

Breakfast was basic and basically terrible, salad bar looks old and not fresh, instant coffee, so little options and they only provide plastic mini spoons that are a danger, I almost cut my mouth with more than one of them.
Buffet for dinner is a bit more reasonable.

When I ask at reception for water as they didn’t provide in the room they send me to the bar and charge me for it. When we arrived they mentioned it was complementary in a place where drinking water is not available if is not bottled.

For a place full of carpets for sale they should remove the ones in the Suite as they were super dirty.

The location of this hotel is exceptional. The staff are as helpful as possible. But Rami (at the reception) is exceptionally good. The only negative thing about this hotel is there is no air-conditioning in early May. I was told this is the case with all hotels and that they are following government directives on the use of electricity. I would've given 5 stars if it wasn't for this issue. Marriott is not far away from this hotel. I wonder if the air-conditioning issue also applies to them!

Excellent value for money, perfect location in the town centre for walking to all sites and both train stations.
Good wifi, good variety at breakfast and helpful staff. Had a nice view of hotel pool and the sea from my balcony.

I’ve stayed here many time before and the hotel is great. The location is really good. A stones throw from anything you want.
But what’s makes this hotel so amazing is the staff. These guys went above and beyond to make my stay one I will remember forever.
I want to thank everyone there and I would like to mention a few.

The spa is very nice, I really enjoyed it!
At my check-in I noticed and informed the front desk that the tv was not functional. At my check-out, 2 days later, I bring the broken tv cable at the front desk. I wasn’t offered any kind of compensation or excuses …… The food was just ok, for a 5 stars hotel, I can expect more.

Check in took a while. We needed to add a fourth person to our room. I had originally asked for 4 twin beds so adding a fourth person shouldn’t be an issue, but they made a huge deal. The rooms also had two twin beds and a queen and they wouldn’t change it.
Then we asked for an extra bedsheet- I called 5 times for that. The doors to the balcony wouldn’t properly open. The air conditioning wasn’t working. And the people in the other rooms were really loud (not hotels fault). And the fridge wasn’t working either.
I wouldn’t stay here again. Close to the beach which is nice and convenient but there are other hotels close as well.

Good city location - not a 5* luxury hotel

A lot of great things about the hotel. It has access to private beach, pool and many restaurant options. The beds are very comfortable and you overall get a good experience.

However, I would not expect a luxury hotel experience and it all would go well. Your experience would depend on how much you are paying for a night.

Most of the guests were Russians who had wristbands that gave them access to most restaurants and bars. This made me think I could have gotten a much better deal.

Hotel restaurants prices are outrageously expensive. You would get food much cheaper if you walk outside the hotel! (Restaurant Ferdaws is a few mins walk and is about 20 times cheaper to get a meal there than the hotel).

Breakfast is decent with many options!

Great hotel, but skip the taxi arrangements

We had a great stay at this hotel! The view was amazing, the breakfast was very generous, dinner was included, the pool is shady in the afternoon. The private beach is just a quick walk past the pool area. We had lovely cocktails one sunset at le Must, the restaurant that overlooks the beach.

Just a few really minor issues:
1) They ran out of beach towels one day, so keep your towel for the whole day and exchange for fresh ones in the morning instead of after each swim!
2) I'm not sure who was at fault, but we asked the hotel to arrange a ride to the Tunis airport. We paid the hotel 200 dinars (which we knew was way more than a meter would have cost, but we wanted to be sure we got to the airport without incident). The driver asked if we paid, and then asked how much. When we told him, the driver got mad, didn't let us into the cab for a few minutes while he called someone. Then he showed us the envelope of money the hotel gave him and it only had 70 dinars. It put us in a really awkward spot. It's possible the driver removed some dinars before showing us the envelope, but I'm sure the hotel took a large cut of the fee regardless.
3) The beach was really nice, but did have broken glass, so be careful!

Although the property is on the edge of the noisy entertainment area rather than in amongst it, and while the noise doesn’t intrude into the hotel itself, it’s probably better suited to those who plan to join that particular crowd.
A big plus to the staff though - excellent service.

Best Hotel in Sousse Centre

Sousse Palace is probably the best hotel in Sousse with indoor swimming pool. The staff were really friendly, they gave us Seaview rooms for the same cost. The choice of breakfast could be improved for a five star hotel. The room prices are more competitive compared to Port El Kantaoui.

很满意。
1.位置：步行几分钟可以到火车站，Medina或者海滩
2.早餐：选择挺多，还有鲜榨草莓汁特别难忘。
3.服务：前台很热情也很幽默，其他工作人员也很有礼貌和热心。
4.房间设施：海景房有阳台可以看到日出，很难忘。

去的时候斋月游泳池和健身房等设施都没怎么开，可惜了。

Nice hotel on a major street, by beach

This is a nice hotel, right on a major street and near the long promenade by the beach. The actual beach access is behind the hotel, and it has a separate area for hotel residents. Perhaps because we were there before the high season, the beach area for the hotel was okay but not what I'd call nice.
The regular staff - the bellhops, doormen, restaurant staff, maids, etc. were lovely and very helpful. Our main issue was with the hotel management at the desk. When we checked out, the manager seemed to be more anxious to get rid of us than to respond to our questions about where to catch the train to our next destination. Perhaps he was operating on old information, but where he sent us was not the right train station to catch the train to Gabes. Fortunately, the doormen were able to point us in the right direction, made sure the cab knew where to take us, and took good care of us.
I'd stay in the hotel again, but I will now be aware that I will be better treated by the lower-echelon staff.

Relaxing in Sousse

The Sousse Palace is just outside the Sousse medina & a good base from which to travel to Mahdia, Sfax, El Jem etc.. The room overlooked the sea (albeit with two wings of the hotel limiting the extent of the sea view). Definitely a pleasant place to stay with helpful, friendly staff.

The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. The food is good. The staff are respectful.

Cons:
1/ The spa, gym and pool closes at 7 pm. I think it is very early and I could not get a chance to workout since I workout best at nights.
2/ The massage services are not that professional.
3/ The hotel rooms are comfortable but for a 5 star hotel, they are a bit worn out.
All in all, the price performance is good.

Hotel en general bien pero tiene sus detalles, muy céntrico, cerca de la medina, muy buena atencion del personal, el cuarto que me toco con mobiliario viejo y descuidado, se ve que fue muy buen hotel en su tiempo pero hoy en dia algo descuidado, la playa muy bien mas por estar en el centro lidias con gente local y hay uno que otro molestando a los turistas.

Fitness, pas de clim ... en plein été. Avec des baies vitrées tout autour, mais tellement sales qu'on ne voit rien

Chambres, jolies confortables, très propres, mais la tv ne marchait pas (piles?)... et complètement décentrée. Le sol stratifié est très bruyant, commence à se décoller. Obtenu une meilleure chambre au dernier étage, moins de bruit.
Piscines grandes et propres.
La plage pourtant privée pourrait être belle si elle était rangée et nettoyée tous les matins... car à côté des plages publiques, c pas terrible...

Bel etablissement mais pas du tout de niveau 5 étoiles.

Nuitée moins cher, mais ça ne vaut même pas le prix d'un 4 étoiles standard

Professionele, snelle, behulpzame, vriendelijke en schone service en lekker eten met veel keuzes, het hotel ligt in het centrum waar alles gemakkelijk bereikbaar is en u zich veilig voelt.
Zonder overdrijving is dit een fijn hotel om je prettig te voelen.
Helaas werkt de heer Al-Sahbi niet meer in dit hotel, omdat hij een persoon is die veel helpt en respect toont voor klanten, in de hoop hem weer te zien in het Sousse Hotel and Spa.

A éviter absolument ! Un cinq étoiles qui n’en mérite pas une ! Service exécrable ! Une chambre digne d’un Ibis et le spa n’en parlons pas 1h30 d’attente pour un massage à deux qui devait avoir lieu et qui n’a jamais eu lieu !

Slechte entree. Gevoel dat je eigenlijk niet welkom was. S’ochtends bij het ontbijt stond onze naam niet op de lijst en moesten we eerst terug naar de balie van alles regelen totdat we eindelijk konden ontbijten. Faciliteiten en de lichten in het gehele hotel gaan vroeg uit rond 11 uur. Het personeel ziet je liever gaan dan komen.
