There were several pools.All spotless and well maintained.
The beachfront is amazing as well. Turquoise waters, chair drink and snack service.Lunch cafe is right there as well. The beachfront was kept clean of debris.Beautiful turquoise water. Plenty of umbrella loungers . The staff here were excellent. From our waiter at dinner Marwen to the amazing bar staff to the housekeepers. Short walking distance about 5 minutes is an outdoor mall.Hannibal Square I think Park maybe? Shops open late, a colorful foumtain with lots of families strolling after dinner AND an amusement park tucked in.Cafes and more. The resort is so amazing we only left to see what was there after dinner one night.What a nice surprise.
The people of Tunisia won our hearts for sure. Make this a bucket list destination! Ancient Carthage is a very easy day tour,ElJem,a real ROman colosseum you can wander through and a beauty of a stately Mosque in Kairouan. A holy site where we were welcomed in to see it's beauty.

Excellent place. We were in off season (December) so it was cool out. Pools aren’t heated so no swimming outside. Excellent staff and entertainment. Very nice area. Felt very safe walking to the nearby Port. Not the hard sell that Sousse has.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Marhaba Palace, and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely delicious and varied. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The facilities were exceptional, including a gym, pool, spa, tennis courts, and kids' club. The beach was located only a few seconds away, which had a very soft, sandy beach and was very clean. The level of service and attention to detail was truly remarkable, making it a truly 5-star experience. I would recommend it to everyone and can't wait to return!

Pictures online are deceiving - beds are single not doubles. Some staff were unhelpful and unfriendly, some were better. Food at the hotel restaurant was almost inedible and close to zero options for vegetarians, we had all inclusive but ate every meal outside the hotel. Beds were comfortable enough and bathrooms were clean. Shower has no water pressure and the water did not drain efficiently. Overall, didn't need to switch hotel but wouldn't go back here.

Hotel was okay, it's has the making of being good but just lacking the extra mile that makes it good . Bedroom was fine , bed was comfy, as we where there in December and the weather wasn't great we appreciated the heating which worked fine. The main hotel building was cool to cold. Food unfortunately wasn't up to scratch, lots of uneatable choice but poor quality, don't be going for food or drink , the bar has no premium drinks , just very cheap copies most of which taste awful, staff where very nice and courteous but everything just lacked a good hotel feel. Pity really with just a bit of extra effort it could be so much better. There where cats running around the inside of the hotel and bar , birds flying around the dining room and landing on food, lots of cleaners but they didn't seem to achieve very much, lovely setting and pool area , unfortunately the weather wasn't great for us and we didn't get to use it but it all looked very pleasant. I did go for a massage and seaweed scrub, it was fine , no complaints but I have had much better , it was all a bit clinical, more like being in a hospital than a hotel , personal service was lacking , nothing special but it was quite cheap. All in all not great , very average, wouldn't return.

Great 4 night break with friends on all inclusive basis. Nice rooms with comfortable beds, selection of food on offer exceeded expectations with local specialties included. Plentiful drinks which were more than palatable at the extremely reasonable price paid. Two large pools with plenty of sun beds with direct access on to the beach. All in all a great trip.

Restaurant service is horrible

The overall service is amazing, when I arrived the check in was so fast and they gave me a room upgrade. The whole stuff is amazing and care about each aspect. EXCEPT when it comes to the restaurant, horrible horrible experience that I lived more than once. This is my go to hotel and I recommend it for so many people including my own family.
In the restaurant they book you a table and nothing is respected after. I had 1 night blown away and I had to buy my own food from outside the hotel (even that I booked all inclusive). They kept moving us from one table to another, they were so rude (at the service level not at the management level) and I heard racist terms from one of the servers stating that I cannot stay in one of the table (seems like I'm not the clientele that they would allow at those table) even that the table was reserved with my room number.
So sad to live that experience, I would think thousand time before re-booking here.

C'était parfait sauf que une incendie à la fin a boulversé notre séjours. Un certain Badreddine ( responsable des chefs et des serveurs ) n'a pas du tout été professionnel. En effet on était en train de manger dans notre table et d'un coup ce monsieur est venu nous dire mot par mot sans même dire un salut ou j'espère que vous aimez votre repas ou un truc du genre. Il a juste dit <> nous avons repondu poliment qu'on est deja assis a cette place hier et qu'on savait pas ou s'assoir exactement comme y'avait quelqu'un pour nous guider. Du coup ce monsieur il a dit cette place et pour d'autres personnes et bouger de ici. Aucun savoir vivre et aucun professionnalisme envers les client. On savait pas quoi faire on a juste bougé mais on n'etait pas du tout content. Bref le sejours etait magnifique mais malheureusement ce monsieur l'a boulversé a la fin. Je vous prie de lui faire apprendre comment reagir avec des clients. Merci

Overall good, lacks attention to some details

Overall good stay but I had some issue that has never been fixed. For the whole stay I had trouble with the lightning in the room and since the AC is connected to that so when it shutdown even during the night it maid my stay really unconfortable. Woke up so many times try to fix it. Spoke with them, tryied to fixed (at least) but with no success.
+ rooms are really too small.
+ There was no respect to social distancing inside the hotel (don't blame managers for that :) )
+ On the good side, food was really excellent and the stuff were friendly (except some of them) special thanks to Moataz (he was really super friendly hope that managment read this comment and reward him :))
Hope that next time they would at least try to answer with message when a client make a special request :)
Overall it was a pleasent stay. Probably would book with them again if the issues mentionned would be adressed

The hotel and staff were great. We had a room with very loud neighbour who seemed to drag furniture at all hours, but reception staff promptly moved us to another room.
The restaurant had options to suit most people. We had a lovely guy called Fethi look after our table for the week.
The hotel could do with having an ATM available on site but that would be my only complaint from the week.

Hotel was good but reception staff were not that good. During October they switch off the AC during day time which is terrible because the weather is really hot and people have to suffer. This is ridiculous and spoilt our holiday.

You get what you pay for...

You def get what you pay for. It's an all inclusive hotel atmosphere and my friend and I arrived to the parking security being very skeptical that we had reservations. We then checked in only to be given a bright green bracelet to let all folks know that we are not part of the all inclusive resort and we have to pay for everything. Fine enough. We get to the room and a number of items are not working...

1. The AC was not functioning and we did not know how to operate the system - zero instructions
2. The WIFI was HORRIBLE on a good day
3. The room was super HOT (meaning it was tough to sleep as we were too warm in the room - even with the window open)
4. The buffet area was like a war zone and you had to push and prod your way into grabbing food
5. We were only there for one night and we had arrived around 7:30pm the night of check in so we did not see the sea - the next day we got up and had breakfast and went outside just to admire the view of the sea and we had about 4-5 aggressive tour guides trying to vie for our attention asking if we wanted a tour - I would hate to layout under the sun there and have this be a normal situation

Excellent service at a topnotch hotel!

We stayed at three different hotels on our visit to Tunisia, and Marhaba Palace was by far the best. It set the bar high, and the other two hotels we chose (in Hammamet) didn't come close to meeting it. Service was great, the rooms were nice, modern and clean, the lobby and dining hall are spacious and welcoming, the beach is nice (although, it was too cold and rainy this time of year to really enjoy it), the nearby port is a short walk away and is probably fantastic in the summer. The only things we thought Marhaba could work on were WiFi in the rooms and the food. While meals were presented nicely, the taste was only so-so. Overall though, a topnotch hotel, and I'd definitely return if I visited Sousse again.

Unfortunately not geared up for the English, no English reps visited the hotel during my stay for us to try to find out about places of interest to visit there was also no resort brochures in either the rooms or downstairs. There were a lot of friendly bar staff/waiters and especially the lady that cooked the eggs in a morning when we went for breakfast, unfortunately the reception staff weren't as friendly. We had to chg rooms 3 times due to no rooms allocated on arrival and also had issues with the fridges & hairdryers not working. My room had a leak in the air conditioning which created a damp patch which after a few days turned into a hole in the ceiling when reported to reception I was told someone would go & take a look & repair 2 hours later I check, still nobody had been plaster still all over the floor, it still wasn't fixed when I checked out at 12 noon the next day. The airport I was due to fly from had been closed due to the flooding, there was nobody at the hotel to help me & tell me where I was diverted to, if my flight time had been changed etc they even said they knew nothing about the airport being closed ! The only person that tried to help me was a Russian rep who spoke little English but at least she said she would check my flight the next day, in the end I had to ring Expedia which cost a lot of money.

Un palace peut-être, mais au standard Tunisien

Un séjour sympa dans ce vieux palace entretenu à moindre frais. On s’attendrait logiquement à des prestations et des équipements bien au dessus, mais tout est en rapport avec la politique de réduction des coûts pour attirer une clientèle de type classe moyenne de l’hémisphère nord. Les équipements sont donc vieillissants mais toujours fonctionnels, les travaux d’entretien limités à une énième couche de peinture sans volonté excessive de finition, le nettoyage est dans le même esprit, c’est à dire fait mais pas dans le but d’atteindre une propreté satisfaisante. Le restaurant propose une cuisine variée mais toujours adaptée aux palais délicats de ces chers européens du Nord sous le coup d’un régime sans sel. Heureusement le coin des spécialités Tunisiennes propose des choses plus relevées et il reste possible d’assaisonner soi-même. On se sent plutôt dans une cantine correcte qui aurait fait des efforts de présentation. Côté bar, toutes les boissons sans exception sont de très basse qualité ce qui rend les cocktails trop sucrés et peu enthousiasmants. Finalement nous aurions préféré payer plus cher pour de meilleurs produits et plus de plaisir à les déguster. Au global le faible coût payé hors saison permet de sauvegarder le rapport qualité prix mais cela n’encourage pas à revenir en pleine saison pour les mêmes prestations ! Le personnel est agréable d’autant plus si vous distribuez les pourboires dont ils ont bien besoin pour compenser des salaires toujours trop bas…

Das Hotel ist ehe mittelmäßig

Das erster Tag war schrecklich die Zimmern haben gestunken wir hatten Gartenblick gebucht und bekommen haben wir Blick auf den Küchendach, Bettwäsche waren benutzt mit Haare und Brotkrümel . Nach Reklamation wurde am nächsten Tag die Zimmer geändert ab da war alles viel besser Zimmer wurde täglich gesäubert und Bettwäsche gewechselt. Das Essen war genügend da aber für ein 5 Sterne Hotel ist es mittelmäßig vorallem alles wurde ohne salz zubereitet. Das Personal war teilweise freundlich am meisten zu europäischen Gästen. Das Hotel ist mittelmäßig und nicht zu vergleichen mit ein 5 Sterne Hotel in Antalya.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour même s’il n’avait pourtant pas forcément bien démarré. La réceptionniste brune à l’accueil est hyper désagréable. Elle n’explique rien et on avait clairement l’impression de l’embêter. Sur les 4 chambres réservées avec vue mer 1 n’avait pas la vue mais ils nous l’ont changé le lendemain. L’hôtel a sérieusement besoin d’un coup de neuf malgré les efforts du personnel (rafraîchissement de la peinture dans les couloirs, ménage ok, les employés de service sont adorables. Les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées par contre la literie est géniale on a super bien dormi !

Merci infiniment au personnel du restaurant qui se sont dévoués pour nous régaler et nous servir tous les jours avec le sourire avec mention spéciale pour notre repas tunisien..merci encore ! Le buffet est vraiment bien garni que ce soit le matin, mention spéciale à l’adorable dame qui fait les omelettes : les meilleures de toute ! Le midi et le soir les plats changent c’est super !

Par contre les cocktails ne sont vraiment pas digne d’un 5 étoiles. hormis les cocktails spéciaux réalisés rien que pour nous par certains Barman :)

Gros problème au niveau du spa : jamais de place au vu du nombre de touristes et de la capacité d’accueil. La salle de sport ferme à 17h et nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la salle de RPM. C’est vraiment dommage !

La plage n’est pas nettoyé donc pas du comme sur les photos…

Bravo et merci au reste du personnel pour votre gentillesse (animation…)

A beautiful gem with a bit of luxury.

It was a short 2-night stay for me and my 3 children who adored the place. The food was fantastic, the rooms had great views overlooking the beach and the swimming pool. The food was too.

Het personeel is uitzonderlijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam .
De buitenzwembaden zijn super,zeker het zoutwaterbad.
Het hotel kigt direct aan her strand.
Minder is het binnenzwembad ,wat heel klein is.
Ook is mij het sportcentrum waar ook een binnen zwembad (jacuzzi tegen betaling van 50 tnd voor 1 uur) is tegengevallen ,het personeel is zeer onvriendelijk ,eigenlijk gewoon onbeschoft ,als hotelgast ben je hier eigenlijk niet welkom ,het dient meer voor de (betalende ) bezoekers van buitenaf

Sejoir en couple tres agréable, hotel tres accueillant, personnel courtois et reactif.
Restaurant/buffet présentant un large choix de mets , table réservée pour les pensions complètes.
Chambre spacieuse, entretien quotidien, grand balcon avec vue sur mer.
Je recommande vivement.
Je reviendrai certainement.

Pour un 5 étoiles donne beaucoup de deception La reception est une kasbha ou on remarque l'assaut poir etre servi Le personnel n'est pas a l'auteur du service qu'on s'attend Le hall c'est un parc ou les enfants courent crient et en meme temps une salle dattente de SNCF

Bonjour,
Je veux reclamer que j ai payé 2 fois mon séjour du 4 au 5 Aout a l'hotel marhaba palace, sousse. En effet a mon arrivée le 04 Aout a l'acceuil on ma demander de payer sur place alors que la transaction a été déjà faite le 03 Aout.
Merci de bien vouloir repondre a ma reclamation.

Questo hotel è quanto di meglio si possa sperare in quella località e soddisfa tutte le attese per un tranquillo e divertente soggiorno
Il personale TUTTO è di una gentilezza e disponibilità apprezzabile e qualsiasi richiesta/problema viene risolto con tempestività. Il mangiare è apprezzabile anche da un italiano DOC!

Prima hotel! Jammer dat de airco het niet deed en de kussens waren wat aan de harde kant. Verder was het een heerlijk verblijf voor herhaling vatbaar.
