The hotel has an impressive reception area but the rooms are looking tired. Staff was ok, no particularly friendly but more towards the rude side. The are not enough chairs to see the live music shows at the lounge. We went in January, the outdoor pool was closed and the indoor pool was packed and the showers/changing areas were very small and basic. We borrowed the equipment from the reception to play tennis and mini golf but both sport areas looked abandoned and need refurbishment. We enjoyed the quiz night activity and the party on Friday night. We walked to the medina by the beach side in over one hour. Outside the hotel there are other options for dinner and have a cup of coffee.

This was the fourth hotel we stayed in on our holiday in Tunisia. The room itself is really lovely, apart from plug sockets, well appointed, with a very comfy bed, and a good view of the sea. It has a separate seating area, plenty of storage and a good shower. The downside for us was it was above the gym, which had many very loud exercise sessions. They finished early enough that they did not disturb our sleep which was good!
When we arrived and checked in, the receptionist was quite brusque verging on unfriendly. In direct contrast the rest of the staff, in particular the bar staff, were delightful, even preempting our needs.
Food - the food varied. I had the Tunisian Coucha and it was delicious, but other food (not Tunisian) was just OK.
Breakfast was good too.
We enjoyed the evening entertainment as well.
The place had the wow factor and every part of it is well maintained and lovely.
Overall a good place to stay if you are just here for sun, sea, and sand. You can get everything you want or need without leaving the hotel.
Information for other travellers: The hotel is geared towards people remaining in the hotel. If you are going on a day trip get everything prepared in advance, for example, the beach towels can only be collected from a certain location at a certain time.
You can take alcohol up to your room in plastic cups. They are very generous here, the alcohol is free flowing.

As a returning guest to the hotels I have to be honest .

I feel the standards have unfortunately slipped .
I encounter no hand towel in many of the toilets, dirty cups from the bar, dirty plates in the restaurant..

The hotel was looking tired and the staff overworked .

I will return in the future to give the hotel a chance & another try .

Lovely Hotel, Great Team and Amazing options!

Perfect Hotel for people looking for all inclusive. For me this was accidental, I was going to be in sousse and booked without looking at this detail. Pleasantly surprised by the friendly service, to amazing food in dining hall! Lots of great options. All team members are helpful, smiley and love to help guests.
Oh and the live music, I think it's every night? with small dance area/floor. Good location too, away from the hustle/bustle of the city, but close enough to get their walking. I walked to sousse center in 40 minutes, and then back. Lots of places to go.
Oh and the hotel organises excursions and activities for you as well. And, if this wasn't enough, they will change your foreign currency at very good rate, and has an exchange service in-house.

I travelled to Sousse with kids and stayed here as our first stop in Tunisia. Its a huge hotel with multiple building. Plentiful parking and it is very nice. Mist likely i booked the cheapest room so we were stuck in the building aaaallllll the way back. It was fine but positive its not as nice as the front building. Rooms and facility clean. Breakfast options were a lot. Staff were amazinh and so helpful. They helped us find local spots, which is what I look for. Overall, good.

Pools were okay but nothing amazing. Beach is walking distance so very nice.

Overall the check in was great and as we have stayed at this property was excellent. The evening staff was very good and I will be honest that I forgot the name of the desk staff. This man personally recognized my husband was from this area and was very pleasant with us and professional. In the evening, the staff changes and there were extremely unprofessional and rude front desk male staff that was so rude that we tried to avoid him. They only gave one room key for 3 guests and inconvenience to to guests. The food wasn’t great a lot of seafood and not a lot for other options. The entertainment was good and amenities were a good value for the price. Overall, I would return again but not do all inclusive as the coffee machine was always broken and enough options for non alcoholic

The beach was nice, Play area was OK, Animation was great. Food was OK , BUT The waitress were Tired . They put bread on most tables,with out anybody sitting on it. That means you can not sit on it. I was walking around with kids to find somewhere to sit in the restaurant. The Chefs were very nice and friendly.

We love the friendly service, the waiters, the animation team. This was our 3rd stay and we had a problem flushing our toilet from the first day. Maintenance came and said it needed replacing and they'd do it in the morning...all 3 days we stayed there it wasn't replaced and didn't flush at all. That was disappointing. But otherwise the food is good, the drinks are good, the service is good and we'll be back! You definitely get what you pay for.

The staff waiting tip upfront otherwise you will not get service, need to pray to get cutlery and glass for dinner, not cleaning the table. Most of the staff are arrogant and ignorant.
The hotel is really crowded, specially the beach and pool area. 3 hotel together has over 800 rooms for 2 outside pool and a small private beach area.
Stayed in all inclusive: soft drinks are terrible, even Coca Cola has weird taste, food is really bad, tastless, if you not going at the beginning of the meal most items run out
Would be a nice hotel if the staff are motivated...

I had originally planned to spend a single night at Marhaba Royal Salem but extended it to two. The reason I chose this hotel was because they offered a very good all-inclusive price which I discovered upon checking in to the hotel included alcoholic drinks as well as breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. The hotel offers a selection of pools, a decent gym and beach access.

The 4 star resort is on a well maintained beach with many amenities including many pools. Rooms are cleaned many times per day and decorated with flower petals. King bed plus a single in a large room with beautiful view of the Mediterranean. Price included buffet breakfast and dinner with live entertainment. All for $30 per night.

L'hôtel honore sa note de 7,6. Très beau mais beaucoup d'anomalies.
Salle de sport payante et très fréquentée par des hommes non résidents de l'hôtel.
Le petit déjeuner est copieux, mais sans goût. Le jus d'orange est distribué au fur et à mesure dans de petits gobelets...
Le personnel est en revanche sympathique.

Un personnel de salle qui n'est pas a l'auteur et ne sais pas communiquer avec la clientele le service tres décevante et les repas sont mediocre Pour les vins serai bien que le personnel sache ce que c'est un vin parce que ce qui sert aux client sert pout desinfecter les toilettes Le chef de cuisine qui se balade dans le hall de l'hôtel les maitre d'hôtel font bla bla entre eux et souvent on.mange tiede
Faut que les agences de voyage vienne en incognito pour se rendre compte que cet hotel ne vaut pas ce qui fait croire
Une réception decevante qui.ne donne pas les explication qui faut au client et les animations interne trop bryantes quon ecoute dans les chambres qui donne sur la piscine
Le matin entte 5/6 heure il y a la mise en place de la piscine sui est asdez bruyant pour reveiller la clientela
Dans les chambre on sert de la pâtisserie de bienvenue qui est immangeable et risque de donner des intoxications alimentaires
En conclusion un hotel décevante pour le service du personnel et son organisation
Les clients étrangères c'est comme du betails Un hotel comme toute la chaîne a effacer et annuller le contrat

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten sogar nach 0 Uhr in der Lobby was trinken. Was nicht gut war war das Essen. Wir haben dadurch ein Infekt bekommen Durchfall ich und Übelkeit. Haben die letzten 3 Tage nicht im Hotel gegessen und sind auf eigene Kosten essen gegangen.

Pour être honnête il n'y a pas grand choses qu'on pourrait apprecier car trop de manque de serieux ...on a meme l'impression de deranger ou d'être en trop ou même de faire partit du personnel ou detre carrément inviter dans leurs maisons... trop de commérage on a meme l'impression d'être surveiller alors que nous sommes en vacance et surtout libre...mais cette hotel vous fait vite ressentir que vous êtes comme en prison sauf que la vous avez tt de meme le droit d'entrée et de sortir ... Et à la fin de vos vacances vous avez la soit disant conseillere en relation qui vous harcèle pour que vous laisser un bon avis sur le site ... genre publucite mensongère juste pour pouvoir exceller... Que de l'égoïsme !

Chambre ne correspondait pas a notre réservation (vue mer), nous avons changé de chambre.

Nous avons passé une nuit horrible car la clim ne fonctionnait pas.
Nous avons rechangé de chambre
Petit dejeuner tres limité, il faut faire la queue et attendre pour tout!
Personnel pas souriant, excédé par le comportement des locaux qui sont vraiment irrespectueux.

Transats sâles à la pisicine, beaucoup d'activités ont été suprimées suite au covid sans information préalable.

Restaurant de la plage ne fait pas partie de l'all inclusive

Nettoyage des chambres sommaires et relouées directement au depart du client (non conforme au protocole covid)
Capacité de l'ascenseur limitée à 2 personnes mais personne ne respecte rien! Le nettoyage n'est pas fait régulièrement
