The hotel deserves 3 starts.
Breakfast wasn’t fresh, the smallest elevators that you can imagine with one of them broken.
Beach full of seaweed, no cleaned up.
So loud because it’s by the street.
45 minutes to check in.
The only two good things are the pool and the employees.

Hôtel qui présente du potentiel

Chambre moyenne pour un Marriott,en dessous du standard habituel et, même si comparaison n'est pas raison, du Hilton de Monastir (qui était complet de toutes façons).
On retrouve bien le mobilier, la literie et les éléments Marriott dans la chambre
La salle de bain manque d'entretien pour un 5 étoiles ⭐️
Des moisissures sur les joints qui pourraient pourtant facilement être refaits.
Il n'y avait pas de shampooing, le flacon était vide, et je l'ai lu dans un autre commentaire donc il semble qu'ils soient coutumier du fait.
La trappe de Visite facilement accessible dans le dressing ouvert n'est pas ce qui avait été prévu à l'origine à mon avis.
La plage n'est pas nettoyée et les transats font vieillots, surtout les banquettes.

Avantagés : en plein mois d'août, l'hôtel est quasi \"vide\" (à vu de nez je dirais 50 % de sa capacité).
La climatisation fonctionne très bien et la température est bien adaptée je trouve.
Mais pour 240€ la nuit en supérieure je trouve que le rapport qualité prix n'y est pas.
En revanche le personnel est aux petits soins, on voit qu'ils ont fait des efforts à ce niveau-là.
Salutations à Mokhtar qui est adorable grâce à qui l'hôtel échappe aux 3 étoiles.

This Hotel is overrated. For the amount they charge per night it’s not worth it. We booked via Expedia as all inclusive and ended up with breakfast only and upon check in asked for upgrade and told by staff we should have booked with travel agency to get all inclusive. Everything is overpriced, for example bottle of water is 8TND which you get for 1 TND across the street. Private beach is a joke, filled with locals. SPA is overbooked no time available during our 2 nights stay. All to say this place is absolutely not recommended for the price.

Stay was great with the exception of check in and lobby area. Check in was delayed...which was understandable considering the 100%. But....the temperature in the lobby area was very high which made the wait very uncomfortable.

For a 5-star rated hotel, this is one of the worst stays I’ve had. There were cockroaches in the room, the sink was clogged, and the shampoo and body wash were empty. The staff took so long to get back to us and didn’t address our concerns.

Il s’agit d’un formidable hôtel ! Les gens du personnel sont extrêmement accueillants et gentils ! Les installations sont excellentes. Néanmoins, le bain tourbillon du spa est petit et n’est pas assez chaud. De plus, les saunas ne fonctionnaient pas bien. Un merci tout spécial au maître d’hôtel du restaurant italien et au serveur Saber. Ils ont été très chaleureux et aux petits soins avec nous !

Beautiful hotel but disappointing customer service

The hotel is very nice and I loved the decoration, however the customer service is not at the level of a 4 stars hotel and especially of a Marriot hotel.
I purchased 2 bedrooms of 3 people each, when we arrived at the check in counter the gentleman kept on insisting we had 3 bedrooms, I showed him the voucher which specified 2 bedrooms. He kept on insisting and told me that the rooms were already paid for so why not to use it. I said ok and I split my family in 2 people for each room.
After 30 minutes we were in the room, the reception called me to tell me that I had to pay for the 3rd room. I argued with the guy that he did confirm the 3 rooms were paid for, he admitted his mistake and he said he would have loose money from his salary if I stayed in the room and not pay for it.
We had the option to leave 1 room and put an extra bed in each room. As the kids had already use the beds I accepted to stay in the third room as I felt bad for the guy and I paid the extra 80 Usd (the room with hotels.com cost me Usd 55 so much less that what they were charging me!!!).
I told the guy that I was keeping and paying for the 3rd bedroom which he confirmed it was already paid and that in exchange he could offer a drink to compensate the mistake they did.
I went downstairs to pay for the room and have a drink.
The following morning at check out I was asked to pay for the drink!!!
I had to explain the entire story to 3 different people (also the manager) and still I had to pay for it.

The reception is probably the most important part of a hotel experience. If you have a poor experience there it determines whether you will return to the hotel in the future. Let's just say the check in process was extremely unprofessional and off-putting. I felt like I was checking into the El Mouradi. Horrible and disrespectful staff.

The property is gorgeous, the staff is exceptional, I wish I could take them all home with me. The breakfast is the largest I’ve ever witnessed at a hotel, with so many options to choose from. They spare nothing to service you. The pool is beautiful, spa services were delightful as well. Also the spa space is beautiful. The beach had security so I could leave my bag while I swam with no worries at all. I was sad I had to leave

This hotel is listed as 5 stars but I can give only 2 or 3.
Check in was terrible I wait in line for one hour and a half.
Internet conexión very bad. Room not too clean, No towels, no hair dryer. TV was not working. I called for towels for 4 times did not bring any until midnight. Broken chair in a room. Room facing a busy street very noisy. This was a terrible experience I will not to recommend anybody.
I spoke with the manager, she did not do anything for me. I paid a very expensive rate for a bad experience. I thinks Hotels.com should do something to compensate this terrible experience. Thanks.

Beautiful seaview with balcony, the hotel is clean and the location is good. It's easy to get a taxi (costs less than TND3 to get to the shared taxi station for day trips to other cities). We stayed here for four nights. The only drawbacks of this hotel are the lack of meat in the buffet breakfast and no dryer in the room.

It was an excellent stay, the hotel staff at the reception were one of a kind very helpful gentle and ready to assist and help. The hotel is very clean. The only disadvantage is there is only one restaurant so you have only one menu to choose from everyday. It would have been useful to have at least another restaurant at the hotel (besides the bar restaurant and the buffet) especially if you reserve with bed and breakfast.

Really disappointed with the Pearl Resort. We booked our trip well before the COVID-19 pandemic and we books non-refundable rooms, as we usually do. (If we have never been unable to travel as planned.) After March 15th, the world shutdown and Tunisia was closed to all non-Tunisians. We waited and hoped. As our vacation plans began to really crumble, we tried contacting the Pearl Resort in June. They were closed. They did not open until July 1st yet US citizens still could not travel. Bottom line: they refused to provide any consideration for our stay. No refund (not expected) but also no consideration for a future stay. We'll still visit Tunisia when we can but the Pearl Resort will NOT get any more of our money.

It was the worst visit ever! The staff was rude and harassed us because we exchanged money upon arrival and the next day the staff claimed they gave too much in dinar back to you. Also, I paid for express dry cleaning and did not get back in and had to wait and they would not give us the difference for express service. We ended up switching hotels even though we were paid up and they wouldn’t refund the difference. We sat down with management and told him everything we experienced and did not receive an apology of any sort. The staff does not speak good English so be aware of you plan to say

When i arrived i was greeted by this lady called Chinaz ( may have spelt her name incorrectly). She was smiling cheerful and so bubbly. I knew i was in good hands. Reminds me of a R.E.M song 'happy shining people.' thats her in a nutshell.

I then had a porter called Mr Faouzi Kheyafi. He took the trouble to show me how the TV works (Im a keen sports fan) but whenever he saw me, he was welcoming.

The staff are engaged with were helpful. Even in morning, breakfast staff in canteen were faultless.

Its a relatively new hotel. If you want to be picky, you can find minor areas to complain about, but the staff make this place what it is.

Next to hotel is a nice cafe / mini restaurant. Medina is a 15 minute walk or 2euros in a taxi.

Worst hotel ever! May appear to be a luxury hotel but we were robbed and the management did nothing. Too many numerous issues to list and yes we complained only to get a sorry! Not good enough when $10,000 US dollars were spent here!!!! We switched hotels and it was like a breath of fresh air and cost less with alll inclusive amenities. The Pearl Resort and Spa only cared about money, money and more money. Save yourself!!!

BUT major issues with the hotel staff and managers. I had many issues from the front desk and was even asked out and flirted with despite the fact that I am a happily
married women. Please be AWARE the staff overall from the front desk to housekeeping to laundry and especially the bar and food does SPEAK or understand English well at all.

Die Einrichtung der Unterkunft entspricht nicht einem 5 Sterne Standard. Das Mobilar war teils abgenutzt oder nicht funtkionsfähig. Ein Föhn war nicht vorhanden, sondern musste erst angefragt werden, was eine ganze Weile gedauert hat.

Das Personal im Restaurant und das Sicherheitspersonal war sehr freundlich, das Personal an der Rezeption leider wenig hilfreich und nicht sehr zuvorkommend.

Gutes Frühstück, bis auf den Kaffee, der leider Nescafé war.

Schöne Anlage nah am Strand, die umstehenden Gebäude sind leider teilweise in einem desolaten Zustand.

Ca ne peut pas etre un hotel 5 etoile.La chambre navait pas de refrigirateur, le coffre fort non plus.Fenetre cassè. Jai payé un supplément pour une chambre de 35m2 avec baignoire et vue sur mer , mais je n'ai rien eu de tout ca.
Jai eu une douche, vue sur immeuble et rue , et jai eu une douche .

Cet hotel n'est vraiment pas à la hauteur des 5 etoiles attribuées. Je n'avais jamais rencontré un niveau de prestations si bas dans un hotel du groupe Mariott. J'ai découvert par la suite qu'il s'agit d'une franchise. Outre le retard lors du check-in, nous avons eu plusieurs désagréments dans les chambres (clim et lumières HS, lavabo bouché à l'arrivée,etc...). Cet hotel est a peine a la hauteur d'un hotel club 4 étoiles. N'y allez pas si vous recherchez une prestation soignée.
