Séjour assez agréable dans l'ensemble malgré plusieurs points négatifs dont des travaux de rénovation des chambres qui engendrent des nuisances sonores très fortes et la réception ne fait rien. très dommage de louer des chambres juste à côté vu le prix qu'on paye

Points positifs :
- 2 belles piscines avec suffisamment de transats et parasols à cette saison
- belle plage bien aménagée
- chambre rénovée agréable et lumineuse (les prestiges sont vieillotes et sombres et n'apportent rien de plus)
- nourriture très correcte mais un peu répétitives surtout au niveau des desserts
- personnel très agréables et serviables

Points négatifs :
- animations quasi inexistantes et de qualité médiocre. L'équipe déploie des efforts mais ils sont peu nombreux et n'ont pas de moyens surtout pour les animations du soir. N'y allez surtout pas pour ça. Grosse déception
- Terrasse extérieure du restaurant très petite et en partie fermée le soir donc obligé de manger dans la salle très bruyantes qui fait cantine. Pas très sympa en vacances...
- Travaux dans l'hôtel sous et autour de notre chambre de 7H45 à plus de 20H avec marteau piqueur, meuleuse...La réception n'a pas réagit et nous a même répondu de nous lever plus tôt pour ne pas être dérangé...On m'a certifié que cela allait cesser mais en fait non. On m'a offert des massages en compensation mais aucun remboursement pour les nuisances subit. Un peu léger vu le standing revendiqué de l'hôtel

No shampoo or soap in shower first evening . I was told they will get me some in the morning. Room too plain for the price. they provide the minimum. Was not impressed either the buffet food nor the service there. This was my second stay at this hotel I thought wound better or improved but it wasn’t. I will try a different hotel next time

Splendid hotel with exceptional food

Stayed for 4 nights, booked independently, and very good value as it includes buffet breakfast and dinner. The food is amazing. We are vegetarian/vegan and the hotel has dishes clearly labelled. The hotel itself is very clean and luxurious, and our room was comfortable and spacious. The gardens are immaculately kept. Service is excellent from all the staff. We used the indoor pool before breakfast as it was very quiet, the outdoor pool was too cold at this time of year. The hotel has a pleasant beach but due to the weather we were unable to use it. To get to Sousse we used Bolt which cost 12 or 13 dinar. We walked to the port area which took around 25 minutes partly along the quiet cycle lane along the road. This hotel is used by travel companies so even off season it is busy. Getting a seat in the restaurant sometimes was tricky, and once you have a table it's best if someone stays at it as someone tried to take our table even though we had left personal items on the chairs; we witnessed this happening with other guests. Although the bed was comfortable we both found the pillows to be lumpy and gave us neckache, they definitely need renewed.
Generally though we had a great time here and highly recommend this hotel. There is evening entertainment which changes daily plus lots of afternoon activities like yoga and archery.

After we got the room we asked for, the holiday was really good, the staff were very pleasant and friendly, room was very clean and comfortable.
My only annoyance was the fact that we couldn’t use the jacuzzi as apparently this facility was for people who booked for prestigious rooms! An d if we wanted we could pay extra to get one of these rooms and we could use the other facilities! Personally I don’t agree with devision of people as it shows we are not equal so it’s like separating well off people from the not so well off people! And the well off ones get to use extra facilities! And also have their own private sun bathing area away from everyone else but they can use the same pool as everyone else does! Also they had their own private restaurant away from the not so well off people, Doesn’t seem fair to devide people like this in my opinion. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

We walked so much all of our trip so wanted to take a break. It was perfect for that. Food is not delicious but its not bad also haha. Alcohol Drinks are not too good but we were just happy that we could drink finally. The staff are very kind. Pool is amazing. The entertainment was impressive also. Would stay here again!

We planned to stay 1 night at this hotel, we decided to extend our stay for a second night as we had an upgrade at or arrival to prestige room along with exclusive access to the prestige lounge. We had a stunning views from our balcony over El Kantaoui Golf course and the mediterranean sea. As a frequent travellers, we can say that this hotel meets the international standards in terms of cleanliness and food quality. The lobby at the hotel is amazing and perfectly designed. The pool has 2 beautiful outdoor pools. The beach is super clean and safe. Our bed was extremely clean and confortable. The service at reception was very good, specially from Mohamed who was very helpful and professional. At the bar, Nabil service was exceptional and was extremely professional as well.

Iberostar Diar Al Andalous management needs to work on some gaps though. No guide for each bracelet color. We had no idea what our bracelet’s means. What we can use and what we cannot. Our bracelet was changed twice and we were intimidated in front of everybody. The funniest part for non all inclusive residents, you will enjoy a good quality food at the restaurant. However, you will have to pay for your drinks, including water. Yes!!Water. they will charge WATER at your free dinner you're half or full board. Which is non sense for us. Some of table service guys at the restaurant were not professional at all, and yes they need to go for training.
Overall it was an amazing place and we really enjoyed it

This is not a 5 star hotel potential a 3.5. It’s a pity as there is so much potential. I a week I didn’t see any of the carpets cleaned and there was dirt and rubbish through the halls. We complained about our room bad smell of damp. Stains on pillows and dust in many places. The air conditioning didn’t work and in the height of summer is not acceptable for a so called 5star hotel. On the plus the food was really nice and staff friendly. There are 2 pools and the entertainment staff are always doing activities. The beach I Great sunbed that belong to hotel so no need to bring € to pay. The hotel is nice but not top quality in it current state.

The hotel was very open and spacious so plenty of room to enjoy relaxing in the sun, either by of the two outdoor pools, adjacent surrounding garden area or on the beach.

The bedrooms were good and functional though not luxurious.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and worked tirelessly to ensure you had a great stay and always with a smile on their faces. Whilst tips were appreciated, you did not get the feeling that they were doing this for money and genuinely wanted to ensure you had an enjoyable stay.

The quality and choice of the food in the main restaurant was excellent with good variety of main dishes, both western and some local. The waiting staff really looked after you and drinks etc were promptly served
upon your arrival and request.

There was a separate dining area which required booking and was available for a visit once per weeks stay serving either a Tunisian or Italian meal on an alternative night basis. We actually managed to have 3 three visits during our stay. The Tunisian night we attended once and the meal was very poor quality, the other two visits were Italian themed, the first being good, the second was very poor with food lacking flavour and substance.

The main bar/entertainment area was a little restrictive in size especially in busy times of the evening. The quality of entertainment was lacking however the entertainment team did an excellent job with what they had and worked tirelessly to engage the customers.

Local beer was very good.

For Tunisia, Sousse, this is as good as it gets. Lovely hotel, nice varied food and great staff; especially Jamal and Karim (at the main bar) and Moncif (in the buffet restaurant) and the animator Amine (absolutely fantastic staff!).
Rooms are lovely and clean, however depending on the time of year (I've stayed a few times) you get a lot of pensioners, so the hotel is quite dead in the winter months, but you'd get that everywhere in Sousse. Overall it's the best hotel in Sousse, better than Green Park Concorde and great value for money. Movenpick is the similar but not all inclusive and much more expensive. Thanks so much for everything and hopefully see you soon!

Overall good rooms with good view really good buffet. Amazing views for the main restaurant looking over the beach, great location with plenty of restaurants and bars outside of the hotel. Great security. Outside and inside the hotel.
As a 5* hotel there are little things which were missing in the room such as the dialling list, a bin in the bathroom, menus of the restaurants in the room. There was no “do not disturb sign” in the room which meant cleaners knocked on our door 3 times sleeping.

Decent hotel, but not 5 stars

The Good:
The hotel has a beautiful private beach.
The rooms are nice, but far from luxurious. The breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent. There are family-friendly activities scheduled throughout the day. The pools are nice and drinks are cheap ($3.00 USD for a gin and tonic).

The Bad:
The building is starting to show it's age. Both my room and the room next door had ants. In their defense, the cleaning staff tried their best to get rid of the ants, but they just kept coming back. Similarly, the \"pub\" could use some serious upgrades (lopsided pool table, wobbly plastic chairs, very limited drink selection). My wife went to the spa and was very disappointed. Her masseuse didn't even leave the room while she was getting changed. The final thing to note is that this hotel is not in Sousse - it's in Hamam Sousse, which is about 25 minutes north of Sousse. That's not necessarily a problem, but if you plan on going to the Medina or checking out the nightlife, be prepared to drive.

Overall:
If you're looking to be pampered in a 5 star hotel, go somewhere else. By North American/European standards, I'd say that this Iberostar is equivalent to an average 4 star hotel. On the other hand, if you are just looking to spend some time at the beach/pool, eat lots of food and drink cheap liquor, this is a good option. It's also quite kid friendly. I paid $75 USD/night (late April/early May) for a double room with breakfast and dinner included and thought that it was a fair price.

The best hotel in Sousse

I stayed at Diar Andalous this summer and I was pleasantly surprised by the the location on the beach; the professionalism of the staff and attention to details.

I highly recommend this hotel for the following:
1. They have the best security in the country and visitors should feel very safe.
2. Excellent location in the Kentaoui area and the hitel is on the beach.
3. Great views. It's worth paying the extra to get an ocean view ( Mediterranean)
4. The food is excellent with lots of variety to choose from including fresh juices for breakfast.
5. I was very impressed with the reception I received every time I come here. I dealt with Moez. He is very friendly and very accommodating. He is always smiling and eager to help. Generally speaking the reception at Tunisian hotels (even five star hotels) isn't acceptable by any standard.
6. The private beach front is second to none.
7. The hotel is quite large and offers a number of activities throughout the day. I enjoy walking in the perimeter and all the way to Port Kentaoui ( 15 minute walk).

In summary, I highly recommend this hotel. It offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean and you feel very safe.

Cons: The staff parked cars in ridiculous postions due to an overload of vehicles. Pros: Pool and hotel grounds are beautiful, rooms are flawless. Guards with rifles are always on the beach and at the front entrance. (Standard in Tunisia now) Food and drink are outrageous. I was given no water, no towels, sink was block and room was facing garden view rather then the sea view ( we were booked) on check in day. However this is still not what is expected of a 5* hotel. I think it should be honestly advertised a 3/4* so that people know exactly what they are paying for.
Food was ok but again not of the standard I would expect from a 5 star hotel. Services are very bad, staff not trained and dont have any clue for hospitality at all. I never seen similar conditions. I don't recommend you to keep it in your respectful list of hotels. High pricing but zero servicing !!!!! But the drawback is that with the exception of three or four, the staff are a miserable lot: they dont smile and they dont seem to want to be there. We didn't see any English were at the hotel and many of the staff (even the 'greeters' and 'security' don't speak English and with a very unhelpful receptionist.
I was so dissappointed with the service I received at this hotel across the board starting with the reception to the room including the service in the restaurant. this hotel should be three stars and not five
In most 5 star hotels, your needs will be taken care of.

Very pleasant stay; food was good ; the entertainment staff were very impressive ; they did their best to make us happy. The reception staff and workers were very helpful and friendly; so were the staff on the bars. The cleaning staff did their job very well. My kids and I enjoyed the two pools very much . The beach in front of the hotel wasn't impressive as it had a lot of sea plantation thrown from the sea onto the beach. What was impressive is that you can have something to eat or drink all the time even if you miss the allocated times for the buffets ;as they take some of the food down to the bar area fir people to have if they wish. The massage service in the hotel was very relaxing and professional.

Hassan at reception and Lofti on the beach were really friendly and brilliant and provided excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay. The trip was very nice, Iberostar Diar alandalus hotel people showed very warm hospitality, our children Yursa, Hana and Yasin felt home from day 1, we enjoyed staying in the hotel for 10 nights, Hana and Yasin cried on the departure day. The animation team was fantastic, especially for young children, and the mini disco. Food was very nice, tasty, and some are spicy which we like so much, especially grill around the swimming pool corner, night shows was spectaculr, espcially Shakira show.
We love to go back again, hopefuly next year.
But realy, I was imprised by the hospitality of all the staff, including Resturant Chief, workers, animation team.
Enjoyed the birthday of my wife and daughter, special arrangement done for the party just by noticing to the reception the date and time, it was brilliant nights, especially for daughter Hana which she will remember for ever.

Hôtel 5 étoiles selon les standards tunisiens, proche d’un 3,5 étoiles en France. Probablement l’un des meilleurs de Sousse. C’est propre, le personnel est sympa, la nourriture est pas mal et le décor ne fait pas vieillot. Bref on peut y aller les yeux fermés.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the 5-Star Rating

I stayed at Diar El Andalous with my husband and our 4-month-old baby for a family trip. While the hotel’s general condition and rooms are acceptable, our overall experience was far from what one would expect from a 5-star hotel.

From the moment we checked in, we noticed an unpleasant pipeline-like smell that would come and go. The towels were in very poor condition—worn out and far from the standards of a luxury hotel.

One of the biggest issues we faced was the lack of consideration from the housekeeping staff. Despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign and the fact that our baby was sleeping after an early feeding, they consistently spoke loudly outside our door, even discussing why we hadn't left the room yet—as if to pressure us into leaving so they could clean. We finally went out, only to return to a room that hadn’t been touched. When they eventually came, I requested only fresh towels, but they insisted on cleaning the room, forcing us out again. Yet, even after that, the glasses were not replaced and the bed sheets remained unchanged, despite our request.

The most distressing part of our stay, however, was my severe illness. I contracted a gastrointestinal infection after eating at the hotel. I suffered from diarrhea, nausea, and had to visit the doctor twice. We had to leave the hotel for 24 hours due to my condition. Upon returning, our room had still not been cleaned, the trash was full, sheets unchanged, and glasses sti

Hotel entrega muito bem oque promete, como todo resort desse tamanho, tem bastante gente e agitacao, mas nao foi um problema em nenhum momento.
A estrutura do hotel é muito boa, limpeza otima, funcionarios muito educados e proativos. Restaurante surpreendeu bastante positivamente, bastante variedade e comida muito boa no geral.
Outro ponto muito positivo do hotel sao as maquinas de agua e agua com gas muito bem distribuidas e de facil acesso para abastecer as garrafas disponibilizadas pelo hotel, excelente em praticidade, qualidade e sustentabilidade.

Hotel ne méritant pas ses 5 etoiles. Les chambres sont basiques, vieillottes , les finitions laissent à desirer, la clim fuiyait et faisait une petite flaque dans la chambre, le mini frigo faisait un boucan d enfer obligé de le debrancher.
La restauration en tout inclus, n etait pas varié le buffet etait identique tous les jours, et pas très gouteux. Le service etait plus ou moins bien effectué en fonction du type de clientèle.
Les extérieurs sont bien entretenus mais il faut se lever tot pour réserver un transat..

Très beau séjour dans cet hôtel. Les chambres sont propres et confortables. Les petits plus telque le thé à la menthe et l'eau fraîche avec citron et menthe à disposition dans le hall, sont très appréciables. Les jus frais le matin au petit déjeuner aussi. Tout était parfait. S'il fallait mettre un petit bémol, ça serait le bruit dans le restaurant, qui donne une ambiance cantine. Il aurait été judicieux de couper la salle de restaurant en plusieurs espaces séparés par des baies vitrées par exemple pour casser et absorbé le bruit. Dans la configuration actuelle, le bruit est très fort et se propage dans tout le restaurant. c'est dommage. Dommage aussi que une seule machine à café italienne fonctionnait durant tout notre séjour. Les deux autres étaient en panne et visiblement pas facile à réparer. Sinon le personnel est super, très agréable et très gentil. Marwha s'est très bien occupée de ma chambre. Très jolie plage. Merci pour ce séjour. A refaire !

Die Zimmer sind etwas überholbar. Da sollte man nochmal ein bisschen modernisieren. Auf meinem Zimmer war zB die ganze Zeit kein WLAN, Klimaanlange hat temporär funktioniert, alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Für die kürze der Zeit war ich aber zufrieden!

Excellent service autant au bar, qu'à la plage, au restaurant, personnel d'entretien et activités. Hôtel à petite échelle. Tout est près, dont la plage. Propreté impeccable. Seul point négatif est qu'il n'était pas possible de mettre l'air climatisé et qu'il faisait très chaud dans la chambre pour nous.

Le personnel est sympathique mais l’hôtel est très sale pour un 5 étoiles. Des fourmis dans la chambre, de la moisissure … On a demandé du savon pour les mains dans les toilettes le premier jour et on l’a eu que le dernier jour.

On arrive à l’hôtel archicomplet pas de mesure de distension pas d’obligation de port de masque la chambre est une chambre d’un logement tout simple le service laisse à désirer et la propreté du linge et des chambres aussi
On arrive au restaurant le soir une queue interminable pour des serveurs qui vous lancent les aliments toujours pas de distensation et un service et bruit d’une cantine dans une école primaire d’un quartier très pauvre
On nous a mis à l’arrivée deux bracelets jaune all inclusive et blanche soit disant prestige service qu’on a payé

Excellent hôtel à tous les niveaux, un accueil de qualité suivi d'un service irréprochable : accueil à la réception Mr Azzet principalement, Mr rached qui se charge de porter les bagages, et les 2 femmes de ménage madame Najwa et Naima.
Propreté et respect total du protocole sanitaire.
Tellement l'hôtel est top nous avons programmé un autre week-end fin juin avec nos amis.

l'hôtel est très propre, moderne, bien situé, il bénéficie de 2 grandes piscines et de sa plage privée, un restaurant buffet et un autre à la carte, plusieurs bars et snack.
Le personnel est très gentil, à l'écoute, souriant par contre la direction a très mal géré les effectifs, lors de l'afflux des nouveaux clients le weekend, ils se retrouvent débordé, crée des tensions et on a même assisté à une bagarre.
La climatisation n'était pas en fonctionnement sur les parties communes et le restaurant (due au COVID-19) et c'était insupportable, c'était un hammam…
Manque de variété sur le snack (toujours pizza et pancakes)
Sinon dans l'ensemble c'est un bon hotel 5*, je recommande...

Tout est parfait, personnel très aimable, serviable et bienveillant. Nourriture variée à thème le soir. C'est notre 2ème fois dans cet hôtel et nous ne regrettons absolument pas notre choix. Chambre propre et hôtel bien organisé. Nous avons passé un beau séjour.
