Outdated and dirty. Looks abandoned.

Really dumpy, dark place. Lobby smells like an ashtray, halls are creepy and outdated. Pool was dirty and all chairs were turned over, cushions stacked in the corner. Their storage shed was open and messy. Tons of mosquitoes, probably because of the unkempt pool. It was pretty gross and the evening front desk worker was very uninterested in his job.

The place looks and feels uncared for with broken shower parts, sticky feeling carpet and basic amenities. The pool was absolutely freezing cold and unfortunately the Only reason I booked this place.The options are for food within walking distance is extremely limited, with ONE pizza place close by which was wonderful. There was hair in the bed before I slept in it. CLEARLY the sheets were not washed. Of all the places I’ve stayed, including hostels, this was by far the worst experience.

We eventually phoned the hotel back who managed to arrange a taxi but we were hanging around for over an hour at 2am

Our stay was great. Close to the airport which was so convenient. We had to leave at 4am however to get to the airport, and we were not able to reserve an uber or taxi and it took us 45 mintues to finally have one accept the drive and we barely made our flight. Not sure why a property so close to the airport does not have transportatin options. The person at the desk however worked hard to find us a ride and we are very grateful to him. I wish I would have caught his name. Other than this issue our stay was great!

Property was overbooked. Front desk told me they only saw one room reservation and not the 2nd room. When I offered to squeeze into a smaller room (double instead of triples) suddenly it was fine. The airport had a lot of flight cancellations so the area was overbooked. Staff tried to make calls to put us somewhere else but no availability. Did not offer us a discount or complimentary breakfast. Nothing in the hour we waited for them to organize how to place us. Hotel is clean but dated. You need to ask for everything like an electric kettle for your room. A/C wasn’t working - set to 23 C. We all showered (in the handicap room it was perfect) in the regular room shower was okay, and left the windows open to calm down the rooms. Okay for a night but check in as early as possible so no room issues.

Even though they continue to advertise a shuttle, they dont have one and the cab fare to the airport is 30 euro. the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, no fridge, zero amenities, not even light bulbs in 2 lights. the metal shutters on the window dont open, so it is dark and gloomy.

This was a last minute booking due to our flight being delayed...so we were worried about where we were going to stay. We booked jet hotel within minutes and its a short distance from the malpensa airport. Hotel was lovely and clean and the rooms were simple but comfortable. Breakfast was pleasant and the staff were lovely and friendly!

The stay was very pleasant. We got there a little early and they went a ahead and checked us in, no problem! The place is older but clean and the beds slept great! Perfect if you have an early flight. Do yourself a favor and catch the train to Verese! Perfect trip.

This is a lovely family-run hotel near to Malpensa Airport (15 mins). Friendly and attentive staff. Nice pool. Great place to go to catch some sun, splash around a pool and get some reading done.

Nice hotel close small shops

They spoke really good English at reception, alright breakast, few negatives were I was on the 5th floor and area where reception smelling of cagarate smoking. Bathroom was really nice only thing was 1 or 2 hairs in the bathtub.

Stop by to Malpensa

I stop by this hotel to try to spend half a day in Milan center but it was so complicated to reach milan and pick up the suitcases again to reach to malpensa airport on time that we just stayed in the hotel.
Poor logistics from us but the hotel is nice, the room just perfect.m and the staff very nice.

Not close to airport!!

This hotel was advertised as close to Malpenza airport. But was actually quite a distance. It was advertised to have a free shuttle, not really true either. Only early am for 3 times. You have to take a cab for a fee any other time. Not the spot we expected at all!!

Don't expect a good night sleep

Great Location staff very unfriendly. Parking was good but the biggest issue is the sound of the lifts banging ALL night and day long. Worst sleep me and partner have had in a hotel. The hotel has had work done so all looks great inside and the room was nice just the lifts are very old. Hotel Receptionist tried to tell me nobody has ever complained but its impossible not to hear the loud banging of lift floors and old lift machinery 24/7.

the nicest hotel ever!

The front desk were so nice and accommodating,we left an I pad in the hotel and they kept it for us,they let us wait in the lobby and make us so comfortable,he even helped us with our baggage,I will recommend it to my friend and stay there again in case I go back to Italy!

We have stayed at the Hotel Jet several times & know the room rate max is about $285 US. Expedia quoted us $553.78 and said that rate was accurate. Knowing the hotel we grudgingly paid for the rate but upon arrival questioned the front desk staff who said we were billed incorrectly by Expedia. They contacted Expedia on our behalf for a partial fee reimbursement but we have yet to see it. That room rate has had to deter many guests who may be unfamiliar with the Hotel Jet and is accomadations.

Nice location near Malpensa airport (7 km).

This was my second stay at this hotel within 2 months. I like the location in the middle of a (working class) residential area. It's like living with the locals, away from the commercial areas. Over the weekends I experienced some noise coming from a banquet building were parties were held but nothing loud, nothing violent, just people having fun. I loved watching them go home from my window, a colorful, civilized group of people.
The hotel has a large private parking lot with surveillance cameras which closes the gates after midnight. Having a rental car makes it easy to park at the hotel and drive from/to the airport although a shuttle van is available onsite. The roads nearby are not congested, the only rush hour traffic on the main street is from 4 to 6 PM.
The hotel staff were very helpful: the guy at the reception gave me easy to follow directions to a local Laundromat when I needed an urgent washing job done. The girl at the reception next day remembered me from my previous stay. All other staff were very polite. Overall I felt like surrounded by family members.
I'm going to miss my pleasant days at this Best Western Jet hotel!

Best Western -OFF AIRPORT-AREA hotel- near MXP

This hotel was chosen as an alternative to 3 other hotels I normally stay at near Malpensa(MXP). The location in Gallarate is just East of the MXP airport in a side-street. There is ample parking, and there is a restaurant around the corner of a 'cantina-type' used by the locals in high numbers.

The hotel has free wifi, an elevator, nice people in the offices, but beyond that a good reserve-hotel, yet expensive for its class yet run down.

To find this hotel you need a GPS. Time to rental car return, assume 30 minutes.

No free shuttle!

The free hotel shuttle advertised was only TO the airport and not FROM. As a result, I was stuck negotiating a taxi fare with drivers who were intent on overcharging (hotel stated fare should be 25 euros and I couldn't get a taxi for less than 40 euros).
Very disturbing and all should be aware.

Close to Malpensa

Most visitors are flying in or out of Malpensa. Room was clean and quite. Staff helpful and spoke English. Free parking at hotel. No free breakfast. Adjusting temperature was difficult and accomplished by opening or closing windows. Several good restaurants were close by -- 5 to 10 minute walk. Although the TV information noted 2 english channels, we could not find them.

\"free\" shuttle misleading, church bells very loud

The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the pool area nice. It's about a 15 minute walk to train, and once at the station, you can get to the 2015 Expo (25 minute ride) easily and inexpensively. It's about 25-30 euro to get to Malpensa airport if your flight time doesn't coincide with the shuttle schedule...the free shuttle is only free at certain times so beware. Also, I was quite jet lagged and found the nearby church bells woke me up every half hour until 1 or 1:30 a.m., then again at 7 a.m., so I was definitely not rested for my next day flight.

Bugs, and not close to the airport

We picked this hotel thinking it was closer on the map then it really was. From the city center Milan we took a bus to the airport for 10 euros then took a taxi to the hotel which ended up being 30 euros. That was more than we expected to pay. Then we had a bit of an argument with the hotel staff because they said the earliest free bus shuttle to the airport was 6 was we needed to be at the air port for 515 ish. He suggested we take another taxi. Then they finally told us we could get a shuttle For 5 am. The room had numerous bugs in it.

Not so close to Malpensa

Either the taxi driver at Malpensa took a longer route than necessary or the 20 minute drive from the airport renders the description of this hotel as close inaccurate. Fortunately, the lovely staff, the ample buffet breakfast, and the free transfer to the airport for our departure the next day made up for the annoyance the night before. This is an older building in an industrial town with very small rooms, barest of air conditioning, but one gets what one pays for and the price was very inexpensive. Directions to an extraordinary fish restaurant a few steps away provided by the hotel reception staff also helped smooth our bewilderment at the rating this hotel received.

We booked this hotel thinking a) its clean and b) it has a shuttle to the airport. We ended up finding out when we got there that the shuttle only runs between 5am-8am and 5pm-8pm to the airport. We ended up paying for a cab which costs about 30 euros (less than 10 min drive). The knobs in the bathrooms were broken and shower was small.

Great overnight stay to be close to the airport for early departure. The hotel is in a small quaint town. A really good restaurant down the block, not far away, about 2 minute walk. You can rent bikes. The room was a decent size. Wished it was warmer when we stayed so we could have used the pool.

We managed to get in here at the last minute as part of our 2 week motorcycle honeymoon and loved it great room great staff and a pool as well what could be better !!! There is a great restaurant across the road called la routa something like that sorry I can't remember but it's a great place to eat with fantastic staff anyway we shall hope to stay there on our way back up country. Just go for it you won't be disapointedc

Airport Hotel?

We stayed at this hotel because it was listed as an airport hotel. We had planned to check in, drop our luggage, return our car, and take the airport shuttle back to the hotel and again in the morning before our flight. We were shocked to learn that they provide a shuttle to the airport only in the morning, so if you arrive there, you would need to take a cab to get to the hotel. Luckily, our car was reserved until the next day, so we had to get up earlier to turn our car in on the day we flew. Also, the neighborhood that the hotel was in had one restaurant next door, a couple of pizza restaurants nearby, but seemed to be in a rather rough area.

Beautiful hotel, sneaky staff

This hotel is beautiful and clean, with lovely decor and good prices for the rooms. We enjoyed our stay here...UNTIL....we received our final bill.

When we checked in, we were told that breakfast is available in the lobby from 7am-10am. Since it's a Best Western and the breakfast was not much more than coffee, tea, and a few packaged croissants, we didn't think twice about it. However, when we checked out we noticed that they had added \"breakfast\" to our final bill...at 10 Euros PER PERSON! This comes out to be nearly $30 USD for continental breakfast. It was really sneaky, as the employee the night before had made sure we knew where and when breakfast was, but had failed to inform us that it cost quite a bit extra. There is no written information anywhere that informs guests of the cost of this ridiculously expensive breakfast. Furthermore, breakfast is not even close to being worth 10 Euros per person....they did not have eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. It was truly just a few packaged items out of a box. When we protested, the staff yelled and cursed at us and then charged our credit card anyway after we left. I would not recommend this hotel due to the sneakiness of the management.

Nice hotel but no restaurant\n

The hotel had booked out the pool area to a private party on our first night. There was a lot of noise and we couldn't get sitting out by the pool. The party guest were singing til quite late. The next morning I went to reception to state by unhappiness at this as the pool is the only real facility the hotel offers. Another guest checking out was already complaining so I went for breakfast and then back to reception. I asked for a complaint form and the staff member became very irritated and slammed a blank sheet of paper in front of me in a very threatening manner. When I said I didn't want a blank sheet but a complaint form he directed me to the guest information booklet in my room. I went upstairs and read through the booklet but there was no form in it just a website to review at the end of your stay. I took the booklet down to reception to show that no form was in it and I again had a blank sheet slammed in front of me. As I explained again that this was not what I requested the staff member started wagging his finger in front of my face . I had to tell him not to speak to me like that as I was trying to walk away and get into the lift. Another member of staff later in the day gave me the form but I refused to fill it in. It would probably end up in the trash anyway. I told them that I would complain direct to BW. I was then told it was their right to hire out the facilities. It apparently wasn't my right to be unhappy about the situation.

Publicized as airport, but it's in different town

We were not at all pleased with the surrounding neighborhood. Although the train station is a direct link to Milano Centrale, it is inconvenient to the hotel late at night. There is nowhere to pick up coffee or water in the hotel, and the universal conversion outlets in the rooms did not work for our phones. Luckily it was only one night. Rooms were clean, and beds were comfortable.

Fine for one night near airport.

The hotel was neat, near the airport, with clean rooms and a pleasant staff. Unfortunately, the walls are \"paper-thin\" and we were woken up at 3:30 in the morning by people in the next room who were merely talking as they prepared to leave for some unknown destination. I would not want to stay there for more than one night. While I would recommend it to a friend, I would do it for the price and ease of driving to the airport, but I would warn anyone about the lack of sound abatement.

Not as advertised

Generally not a great experience. It was not as advertised on its website or Expedia. Their shuttle is ONLY in the morning, from the hotel to Malpensa and is not available any other time and does not make pick ups from the airport. It's about a 32 euro taxi ride from Malpensa to this hotel.

There are only a few places to eat nearby, a McDonalds, a Roadhouse Grill, and a third sit-down restaurant. There is no market nearby.

The beds are ok, the walls are paper thin, and the shower stalls are quite small.

Very very friendly helpful staff. Checked in late in the evening due to being in transit. Nothing was a problem, didn't have to request anything (except a beer), it was all ready to go. Location didn't seem the best but was only a 10 minute walk to the train station and an hour to Milan city. Airport just 10 minute drive away.

Decent hotel, walking and travelling required!

The hotel is only a 1 km walk to the train station or there is a complimentary shuttle bus you can get. From the train station there is a regular (every half hour and takes 35m) train into Garibaldi station. From the Metro in Garibaldi you can get to anywhere in Milan in a few minutes.

I stayed for the Grand Prix and although it was one hours travel it was still acceptable considering the price of hotels in Milan.

I would say that 1 star is for the pool. The hotel is really a three star but quite satisfactory nonetheless. The rooms were cleaned and we got new sheets every day. The reception is 24/7 and staff are quite helpful. The pool itself is quite small but neat and has a nice seated area around it.
As for Gallarate I did not see much of it but there is a nice Pizza restaurant around the corner and other amenities close by (ten minute walk at most).

Overall I would recommend the hotel if you don’t mind walking a bit and a bit of travelling. To finish I would like to point people to the trenord \"multiday rail ticket\" which allows you to travel anywhere in Lombardy for €40 for 7 days. You get these from Trenord rail ticket offices and they are a godsend.

Motel in an abandoned area

The hotel did not posses four star qualities as it led me to believe. There was very little English programmes on the television. There was lack of privacy as cleaning staff were opening the door early in the morning without knocking. Cleaning services could not be accessed after 12 pm. The pool was so dirty it was unusable. The decor was dated. The lobby and the halls were smelly. Overall I had a horrible experience, when I saw the area and inside the hotel I started to cry. It ruined my entire birthday trip.

Don't Judge a Hotel by the Internet Site

We stayed at a Best Western in Torino, so we booked the Jet Hotel Best Western for our Milan departure. There are two BW hotels near the Milan Airport and we chose this location since it looked as if it was in a small town and we could walk for a drink before dinner and have dinner in a nice restaurant before ending our trip. We did not find the surrounding area of the hotel inviting at all.

First of all, it was really difficult to find the hotel. They do have street signs, but could use better signage. For a 4-Star hotel, we expected better accommodations and location. The hotel lobby had an unpleasant odor, but fortunately our room was tolerable. The hotel receptionist was very pleasant and helpful.

The one great find was the restaurant next door. It was lively and full of people having a great time with their families. As obvious foreigners, the staff (especially the tall waiter) was a bit aloof, but we loved the simple atmosphere of great food and fun.

Next trip, I would like to return to the restaurant, but we will choose a different location.

Great value. Nice hotel and easy access to airport

We needed a hotel near the airport for an early departure and chose the Best Western Jet because it offered free parking, internet, and had a pool. The pool area was very nice with covered comfortable seating for those not wanting sun. We were allowed an early check-in and the staff was great, very accommodating. The room was adequate and the bathroom nicely sized with a full-sized tub. Good airconditioning too. Breakfast was also included.

Best Westerns really are the best!

Great hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, explaining nice places to eat, travel and experience. Everything was clean. Breakfast was amazing, with a lot of choice!

Nice but limited shuttle.

Front desk staff was helpful. We were disappointed that the airport shuttle only is in service in the early morning. We had to walk into town and catch a bus to the airport. We booked this hotel for its free shuttle service so I would not recommend this hotel since it did not meet our needs. The airport shuttle will only work for you if your flight is at 10:30am or earlier because it stops running before 9 am.

I like the hotel I did think it was in the town , when I booked the hotel, but it wasn't far to walk but if you were elderly it would be a problem, the hotel staff were quite helpful except a few staff one in particular who was very rude and unprofessional and I must put a formal complaint in about him only I forgot when I left.... overall the staff were pleasant and helpful ... the room was very nice clean and comfortable.. I did think there was a lack of organisation , when you wanted a drink at the bar or something to eat it was a big huff because there would only be one person working on the reception and the bar.... I would stay again but I would hire a car next time and thats only because the hotel room was lovely and the pool is nice if there is nice weather .. I forgot to mention also the computer was not working in my room and I asked to use the reception i pad which if it wasn't being lent to someone else then you could use it but know one came up to my room to fix the computer all the time I was there which was 6 days, I thought they they lacked in customer service skills .there was a local restaurant which had lovely food not too expensive for Italy!!. You could only get breakfast in the morning but there was a charge of 10 Euros if you hadn't booked it in with your holiday.. You could get a sandwich but they were never that happy to make it for you always looked stressed because they had to run back to the reception ...

No coffee/tea maker in room, as was stated would be there in the description of the room. Room was tiny, though very clean and bed was comfortable. No view, as was promised in room description. Directions from train station were insufficient. When I called, I was told to take the train from Milan to Gallarate, but was not given any further instruction, even after I asked. I walked for what seemed like forever through a rougher looking part of town with an incomplete sidewalk. Phone in room didn't work. I chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport, which was very close. It took 10 minutes in the free shuttle.

Good for business trips or overnight stays

We used this hotel for an overnight stay as our plane into Milan was quite late. For that it was perfect, only 10 minutes from the airport and a free shuttle bus the next morning. Wouldn't really want to stay any longer than that though.

Clean,quiet and close to airport

This hotel was very clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Location to the airport was very convenient, but also quiet. All the staff spoke English, which was helpful in a foreign country. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great for a night

We stayed for one night, since we were travelling out of Malpensa very early in the mornint.
It's a very well maintained hotel, with free parking and very confortable. It has nice and friendly staff as well
The downsize is that it's a bit difficult to find.
