Hotel is ok for staying close to the airport. But be aware there are no walkable food options from 14:00 until 19:00. We arrived hungry at 14:20 and were very disappointed.

My wife and I spent one night only and it was a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was well assorted, room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back here next time. The hotel is a short walk to the airport’s T1-T2 free shuttle. If you have a lot of luggage may want to pay the 5 EUR pp for the hotel shuttle instead.

One night stay to catch a morning flight. We were able to check in early which was greatly appreciated. The gentleman at the front desk was wonderful-very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. All staff we encountered was 5star.
Room was very clean and surprisingly quiet considering how close to the airport we were. Only negative is there is not much at all around the hotel. They serve breakfast and dinner but not lunch. There is a small bar that serves nice cold drinks. A short walk to a neighbourhood hotel was recommended for lunch and was very good. We paid 5 Euro each for a shuttle bus ride to the airport in the morning that picked us up at the hotel. There is a free shuttle but it is a short walk away and not well marked. Breakfast was ok but not great. Again, staff is wonderful!

Check in process was quick and smooth but as soon as we use toilet then the DISASTER started hand shower was faulty and splashing water all over toilet and make our clothes wet, flush wasn’t working as push button was stuck we call maintenance he came quickly did something and told us it’s sorted second usage of toilet same issue but a bit less now we involved management and they were quite rude and they had only one sentence to say “ WE ARE FULLY BOOKED AND CANT CHANGE THE ROOM AND THIS IS SUNDAY SO WE DONT HAVE ANY CLEANING STAFF” for goodness sake this is HOLIDAY INN we are staying .

Duty manager was so rude as my Mrs said she is going to sleep in lobby as room wasn’t upto the standard and he said FEEL FREE TO SLEEP IN THE LOBBY

This disaster continues until we check out as the shift had changed and new staff were there so we didn’t think to argue them anymore .

It was my 4th stay in the very hotel but this will be my last time .

We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express near Milan Malpensa Airport. The complimentary airport shuttle was reliable and convenient, with only about a 5-minute ride to and from Terminal 1. The shuttle driver was always on time, making our airport transfers stress-free.

The complimentary breakfast was exactly what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express, plenty of options to start the day and well maintained. The front desk staff were exceptionally polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel welcome from check-in to departure.

If you’re looking for a comfortable and convenient airport hotel near Milan Malpensa, this is an excellent choice for the price.

The young man who received us at the front desk was very quiet and for me, it came across as not welcoming. The facility was clean and the room was beautiful but there was not a comfortable sitting area to lounge about in. The included breakfast had salad and sandwich supplies, sweet breads, fruit and an unending supply of Nutella but the scrambled eggs were soupy and not appealing. Our bathroom was lean but the outlet didn't work and there was a little light that is permanently on so you couldn't darken the room. Even if you closed the door it shone through the windows area.

Staff would not help clear a double booking. While told one booking was done with expedia.com, Expedia did not show any bookings on the account. The hotel was ok but the honesty and willingness to assist could have been better. Had they helped clearing the misunderstanding, they would have gained a loyal customer. I go to Milan often.....

We had a mixed experience at this hotel. We called the hotel to get a shuttle pickup in the afternoon after landing and the shuttle never showed up so we ended up boarding the airport shuttle bus which had a drop off not too far from the hotel. We had dinner in the restaurant and food was good and the wait staff were attentive. Our room was fine for an overnight stay and we slept well. The breakfast buffet opened at 5:00 am which is nice for early flights. We took the shuttle to MXP with no issues so overall the stay went well.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and found the experience to be mixed. The room itself was acceptable and met basic expectations, but there were a few notable issues that should be addressed. The pillows were very uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
More concerning was the condition of the bathroom. It appeared to need attention, with visible damage to the grout and tile, likely from past leaks. This gave the space a worn and poorly maintained feel.
Overall, while the room was adequate, improvements in maintenance and comfort would make a significant difference.

When I visit Milan for my business trip, I usually stay at the Sheraton Malpensa. However, the price of the Sheraton was extremely high on my previous trip, so I searched for another accommodation and found Holiday Inn Express Milan-Malpensa. The cost performance was suitable and affordable for the stay. So, I was happy basically with my stay. The staff at the reception and restaurant were very supportive and friendly. One thing I would like to ask for improvement is to allocate a safety box in each room.

The hotel is quite modern, offers decent breakfast and the reception staff were very friendly.
Only issue I experienced is that a guy entered my room after had checked-in. When he saw that I was in there he said “excuse me” and left. As I was relaxing in my bed at the time I couldn’t see who it was, it could have been cleaning or maintenance staff or it could have been that the room was accidentally assigned to another guest. All I know is that the person had a valid key and did not knock, so thought that the room was empty.

love this hotel for its daily rate and closeness to the airport. i stayed the whole week before flying out and took the bus into central station Milan every day. it was easy and the bus and shuttle back from the airport was great. i will book again if i go to Milan instead of paying so much in the city. bonus is the free daily breakfast, clean and quiet.

I stayed at this hotel very close to the Milan airport (MXP) overnight for a morning departure. Check in was easy, there was a bar for drinks in the evening, breakfast was good, and the free shuttle took just a couple minutes to get to the terminal. Being essentially on-airport, there is some airport noise (planes and trucks beeping) but it was acceptable. I would stay again.

With an early flight in the morning, we stayed at Holiday Inn Express Malpensa, and it met our expectations. Check in staff was the most efficient I have worked with in a long time, and she did not miss a beat! After a long train trip with transfers, we were hungry and tired. I did not expect much from this simple corporate hotel cafe, but darn if the spaghetti with pomodoro sauce wasn't great! Rooms are basic, but you have what you need, with excellent staff to make sure you make your flights.

The worse Holiday Inn Express

I booked a room at this hotel then I sent messages to confirm the room I booked has two separate beds. No response. I kept sending more than 20 messages, literally 20, in the following days; still no response. At the time I checked in the hotel, I request to speak to the management. There was no manager at the hotel.

The air con control panel at the room is broken. Stains on the carpet in the corridor are found. This particular Holiday Inn Express has serious management problems. I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express and IHG hotels. This one is definitely the worse one.

I usually don’t review hotels but I did this time because of the excellent stay I had here. I was looking for a place to spend the night close to the Milan airport and I found this to be a great option. It is only a few minute drive to the airport. They were helpful with shuttle services. I was impressed with how clean and updated the hotel is. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for somewhere concert to the airport.

Free shuttle is not a hotel shuttle rather only airport shuttle that goes between the two terminals and should be more clear on the website or is a bit is leading to other hotels that offer a free shuttle. There for to keep in mind if you have a lot of suitcases, as there is also 5-10 mins walking involved. There is a hotel shuttle but you need to pay for it.

Staff was very courteous. The checking was great. Mr. Noe was kind, friendly and most helpful. The breakfast was great! The Wi-Fi is terrible!!! I tried to use it in several parts of the property in addition to in the room. It is almost unusable. Also, the TV didn’t have more than two channels available. Channel guide showed many channels. Only two showed. And TV had no capability for streaming from a phone or device. Such old equipment. The bed was adequate but not comfortable. Getting to the hotel without a car is difficult. The shuttle service to and from the airport is 15 euros each way for a five to seven minute ride.

Upon arrival, our room was ready and clean. While very close to the airport and a paid 24 hour shuttle are very convenient, there are no amenities around the area. The Holiday Inn itself has a restaurant in which we ate dinner as we had no other choice and our room included a free breakfast, which was great as it opened at 5 AM so we were able to eat before we went to the airport, the hotel itself is very simple. It met our needs of a place to stay the night before an early flight not really a place to stay long-term.

Room was okay! It needed up dating with new floor and furniture. The shower sides leaked water out the bases getting the floor all wet. And the Bed was very hard. I think this J's just a European thing. All the beds I slept on during a 2 week stay were hard, at least for me
