The room was ok, staff were very nice and helpful about the area but the bed was old and mattress was stained and dirty looking, the bathroom ceiling had black mold all over above the shower it was disgusting. The room leads to a balcony, the windows were open when we came in and there were bugs all over the place. I wouldn’t stay here again. The overall hotel was garbage. This is a very honest review just so people know. It’s not the staffs fault the owners don’t renovate the hotel

The grounds had a nice green area with table. The rooms had nice large windows and balcony to sit outside or let the light in. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly, helpful and attentive person. He helped us get into our room early as we only had a few hours to sleep before our flight. The breakfast also was great with good variety of cold and hot food.

so bad, I dont recommend it.

don't take the breakfast, it s awful. Even the coffee was not good and the eggs were green and no real choice. What a disappointment. Parking, yes there is one in border of the street and only about 6, if full you need to pay. The room was cold and they couldn't do anything, neither they tried. The room are small and the bathroom very basic. When they say relaxing bathtub, it s just a normal bathtub.
So dont get me wrong, it s ok hotel to stay one night at a value of 70-80 dollars ( without discount) and dont take breakfast..it will be kind of ibis red and with no car..but if you expect an hotel at a value of 130 euros ( as hotels sell it) you will not get it.

We checked in this hotel after a long flight , arriving past midnight , asked for late check out the following day , willing to pay for it , and were declined the option to do so . Also , the top bed sheet was completely ripped and destroyed which was just horrible !

I asked to get picked up at the airport which was what was on Orbitz. It was about 11:30PM and they said the shuttle did not run that late. I took a taxi to hotel. When I checked in I said I need a shuttle in the morning - he said it would be $5 Euros. It's not the $5 euros - its that I have never paid a fee for hotel transportation to airport. I got the fealing that the employees were trying to squeeze some money out of tourist. In the morning he encouraged me to get the breakfast they had at the property for $10 euros. I declined. The property was very old. I would have gladly paid $50 Euros more for a nice place.

Perfect for a day or 2 near Malpensa airport. Staff were super friendly, the 5 euro airport transfer was quick and efficient, rooms clean and well appointed (although some old fashioned Italian plug sockets which not all adapters fit into.. so as in most of Italy, bring a variety!) nice pool and well kept gardens. Bring your own towels for the pool!

Very good overall. Friendly staff who had excellent english. Unfortunately, the hotel bistro is closed on a wednesday, which was a shame. We were directed to a pizza place (Mastro Pizza) a short distance (2 mins) away, which was excellent and great value for money. The pool is lovely with nice surroundings. Unfortunately, we were unable to have a late check out* as the hotel was full, and there was no changing room / shower, other than the poolside shower. A spare room for this facility would be great, as we could have used the pool whilst we waited 3 hours for the airport run!
*The lovely receptionists allowed us an extra 30-45 mins to check out of the room. Grazie!

This is property is straight out of Itallian James Bond 1980s dream. I have never stayed in a hotel the shape of a ? before. It is super unique property. It has weird 1970s style circle carpet but I defiantly prefer it vs all of the noisy marble floors we have been staying at. a Great 5* pizza place only 3 doors down. The staff was super friendly with the shuttle. You pick up the shuttle in T1 just past the MXP express train gates on the road in front the sheraton. Its a silver or white 15 passenger Fiat van with blue writing. We got the room for 3x with a small twin bed. Restaurant has salads and fresh fare to go your room perfect for before after travel. Has the worlds tinyest showers. Great little early flgith out stay for us.

A very nice hotel in a lovely town

I found this hotel to be really good value for money.

It has a decent bistro on site, run by the wonderful Rosina.

As the hotel is located in a small town, the on-site bistro is the only place open on a Sunday to eat. However, on any other day, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, including a convenience store that certainly had everything I needed.

The Reception staff were all very friendly and helpful.

My room was clean and had plenty of power outlets. However, there was no ironing facilities in the room, but I was able to use the hotel's iron and ironing board in the laundry room which was located in the depths of the hotel, normally used by the cleaning staff.

I personally think that this is a very nice hotel in a lovely town, and I willbe booking again on my next visit.

This is a great find. Close to the airport for travellers and local eateries for those wanting food outside of the hotel.
The room was amazingly spacious and luxurious and so clean.
Parking out the front was easy. We had the breakfast, which had a good variety and fresh coffee as well.
Would totally stay again and highly recommend to other travellers

Nice modern hotel close to the airport. Clean and comfortable room, attractive rate, offers airport shuttle. Breakfast buffet was great. Staff was very friendly. The only disadvantage is that other guests who wake up for their early flights can get noisy during early morning hours and this can be disturbing because the room isolation is not ideal.

It was a beautiful stay! Most of the staff members are super friendly, very helpful to tourists like us. The night shifts front desk staff are the best. We stayed here during the winter and at times the shower isn't as hot as we needed it. Overall an enjoyable experience.

The Hotel is lovely and so close to malpensa airport which the hotel provides a shuttle too at a small cost. Only downside is it is not close to the centre of Milan and it takes a 45 minute train from malpensa airport to the centre. But that didn’t spoil the stay. Another thing is the room I found on Expedia didn’t look anything like the room we was given. The room was clean and nice so didn’t complain but was much smaller than expected.
Staff were all very helpful and would stay again!

Some staffs were friendly and others were nothing to write home about. The lady at the dinner bistro is a credit to the hotel.

We asked for a shuttle bus and the driver took us to the wrong bus stop .. not T1 exit 10 as they normally advise they pickup from. We spent over an hour looking for where to go and catch our bus and later got to town late which eventually led to us not doing what we wanted to do again.

On coming back from town to T1, i rang the hotel and asked to be picked up confirming 3 adults and 2 children and also confirmed our location. We were lied to that they'd come out twice and we were nowhere to be found and that the driver would come out the third time. Well, there was traffic due to road works when we were picked up.

I asked for iron so i could iron my children's clothing and i was asked to come back at 8am in the morning when my flight was at 7am. NO iron was given.
My children couldn't swim as it is the main reason why i booked the hotel - their excuse was that it is winter. The kids swim all year round in the UK. So,why was this not in their policy to inform potential customers?

The worst experience - this morning, one man was shouting at myself and my mum all because my parent wanted to follow children and I to the airport to go back to the UK. This man genuinely ruined my whole day and confirmed my suspicion about how they care and treat customers who have a different skin colour to them.

Would i book this hotel in future? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Great Way to Start Trip to Italy.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. They all spoke English which was great. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Although close to the airport, it was a cool little area to walk around and find bar and restaurants Also had wonderful breakfast which is included with your room.

Hotel was close to Terminal 2 with a good, quick ( 5 mins) shuttle serving both terminals at a reasonable price - just phone on arrival and it will pick you up outside departures; shuttle clearly identifies the hotel. Hotel was modern with comfortable, clean rooms. Excellent, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Highly recommended.

Great hotel.

On arrival, greeted with friendly, efficient service. As it was early morning, we had a few hours sleep then had a lovely breakfast downstairs, before setting off to Milan to see the sights. Our trip was planned to perfection by Alessandro, and the same again the day after to visit the beautiful Lake Como. Nothing was too much trouble for this guy, and helped us tremendously with advice concerning where to go and travelling on trains etc. Overall, we had a great 3 day city break. Thanks Alessandro and Cardano hotel.

Stayed here 1 day as it was close to the airport. The hotel looks okay for the price. There is no kettle for water in the room and no free coffee/tea/water. They have a shuttle service that takes you to/from the airport for 5 euros. The driver was nice as well as the staff.

Tried their breakfast buffet at 10 euros each. It was mostly bread, cheeses and cold cuts. The ladies at the cafeteria were also nice.

They allow you to hang out in their lobby if you have a late afternoon/evening flight. There is a carrefour express 7 mins away by walk and a nice pizza place 2 mins away. For me, there wasn't much to do around the area but the hotel was quite sufficient for our needs.

Every person working there with whom we interacted was marvellous. The only exception was the driver who picked us up from the car rental place at the airport. He drove like a crazy madman. But the hotel was lovely and all were so helpful. We ate at their little cafe and it was fine. The pool was awesome!

Everything about this stay was excellent! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was impeccably clean and perfect for our family (husband, wife, daughter, and 23-month-old grandson), and the area was quaint and charming.
It was very quiet, which was a nice break from the cacophonous Airbnbs we had stayed in around the country.
We were able to find delicious pizza a few blocks away.
We took the shuttle to and from the airport. It was very reasonably priced and the drivers were great (especially in lugging aaalllll our luggage into and out of the van).
On top of all that, the breakfast was really good.
Highest marks to Cardano Hotel! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
