This hotel is not really near anything. It is about 15 minutes from Malpensa Airport. The on-site restaurant for dinner is nothing special. The food was fine but not fresh homemade. The rooms were nice, but the AC was turned off for winter, so it got quite warm. Overall, it was a very good experience just not great...

I am formally requesting a refund due to material misrepresentation of the hotel’s amenities.

I booked this property solely because it advertised shuttle service from the airport. Upon arrival, I was informed that no such shuttle service exists. The hotel only offers to arrange a taxi from the hotel to the airport for €40. The taxi from the airport to the hotel cost €45.

As a result, we incurred €85 in unexpected transportation expenses. To avoid paying additional taxi fares, we ultimately rented a car for €72 to cover a 12-minute drive—an amount equal to the cost of one night at the hotel.

Had we known that transportation to and from the airport would cost €85, we would not have booked this property. The advertised shuttle service was the determining factor in our decision. This constitutes false advertising and directly impacted our booking choice.

Additionally, while raising this issue with the front desk, another guest in the lobby stated that their group had also booked under the same misunderstanding regarding shuttle service.

Expedia, I am requesting your assistance in resolving this matter and issuing a refund based on the inaccurate representation of the hotel’s amenities.

The room was nice but the air conditioning was broken. As well, they advertised a free 24 hour shuttle and close to airport. But it was a10-15min drive and a 60 euro uber to get to and from the hotel. I was really disappointed with this false advertising

Would not stay at this hotel again. They advertise a hotel shuttle which does not exist. They only have contacts with taxis in which they arrange a pickup and then you pay the taxi company directly. The price is not €35 for one way and ranges between €45-90. Overall felt scammed with the experience and the room smelled heavily of smoke.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made check-in a pleasant experience. The breakfast was surprisingly good and varied, especially considering the affordable price of just €7 — definitely a great value.
However, the bathroom was shockingly dirty — one of the worst I’ve ever seen. The lower part of the bathtub had a thick layer of grime that had clearly built up over time, forming a slimy residue that was extremely off-putting. It seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in ages. The poor lighting in the bathroom probably contributed to this being overlooked, but it seriously affected the overall experience.
With better bathroom hygiene, this place could be a solid budget option. Until then, I’d be hesitant to return.

Hotel is located in a remote area, real struggle to find transportation to get there. Airport taxi charge €40 and it was around 20 mins from the airport. Check in was smooth, breakfast area was good with some decent selections . Will not stay that far again as the price you pay to the property addition cost to get there and back to the airport is not worth it so much time wasted and efforts

Excellent location for overnight stay before flying out of Malpensa. Their shuttle ride is a taxi service that they always use. 35 euros or 40 if early morning. Right on time. Have restaurant on site. Small menu but delicious.

However, although the hotel's website says it is close to MXP Malpensa airport, it is not. The hotel is out in the country and 11kms from the airport. A good place to stay if you have a car, but not if you are relying on a taxi. We were quoted 40 Euro for a taxi to MXP terminal 1.

The room was very hot, the airconditioning wasn’t working, I went downstairs to reception to ask about it and she said she changed it from the computer at reception and it made no difference. I had to sleep with the windows and curtains open and lots of mosquitoes came in.
Breakfast was not good at all.
Overall very old rooms.

Property was listed as 3.25 miles from Malpensa. It was 7 miles. Staff person was cold and very indifferent. Bar wasn't really a bar. Just a small counter with a few drink selections. (eg, two bottled beer brands to choose from.) Would not stay here again.

Nice clean hotel. It is close to Malpensa Airport but remote.
The reception staff were slow and miserable and we found out when we got there that there was no dining room that night. The air conditioning was noisy so we had to switch it off. The card machine did not work when checking out and they asked me to go to a cash machine and get cash!!

We like the hotel, but we were stranded as we didn’t have a car. We would have had to hire a taxi to go anywhere. We decided to to walk about a 1/2 mile to a local sandwich place for lunch as there were no other options. The hotel provided a nice breakfast and a restaurant for evening meal but nothing for lunch. So we walked along a very busy road, to the restaurant, i fell fortunately the cars noticed and got over. It could have been a lot worse. Our recommendation is if you have a car it’s a very nice place to stay, if you require a place to stay for the airport and don’t have a car stay closer to the airport as this hotel is in the country with little to no amenities!

Amazing breakfast, close to Oleggio which is fantastic and very friendly - beware if you’re bad with heat - they do not have air conditioning on or very accessible - you must be able to assert yourself to have it on as it is available. Clean and confortable, highly recommended.

“Near Airport” hotels are usually expensive and not the best facilities. Hotel Villa delle Rose is not one of those hotels. Although close to the airport, the hotel is nestled into the woods and is serenely quiet. The staff is caring and attentive and the rooms (although not 4-star) are comfortable, clean and welcoming. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I can’t see how this can be a 4-star hotel. It’s all very old and worn, and the interior looks like it’s from the seventies.
Most importantly, the walls and doors are paper thin, so you can hear everything in the corridors and the neighbouring rooms.

The facility condition was adequate. The problem is that our room was at the end of a short hallway adjacent to the bar and restaurant. Two obnoxious women were loud and started arguing at130 am to 230 am. I blame the hotel for not stopping the escalated arguing that woke us up and not ejecting these loud people from their hotel.

Room and bathroom were very nice but: mosquito net needs replacing, some dirt in hidden spots, a bit loud through the door (can hear other guests moving around in the morning). We arrived late to the hotel and were not pleasantly surprised to find out that air conditioner was not working in the room. We tried to fall asleep but by 2am we were boiling inside the room, temperature was showing 30.5 Celsius. Receptionist was nice but there not much he can do, he offered us his little fan that he had. In the morning we were shocked to see how dirty the room was, spider webs, mold all over the bathroom and the cherry on top was finding used toilet paper underneath the bed( my son dropped his toy that why I looked there( I wish I didn’t). This is not a 4 star hotel, more like 1 star motel. Staff is nice that’s about it

Grim, I arrived late, hotel/restaurant was dark and not too welcoming. The night staff had no welcome at all, purely functional. My room was dark with only two dim lights working. I asked if there might be any food and a beer and simply pointed to the mini fridge.
In my room I couldn’t get any mobile signal on my two phones on different networks but I had to go back to reception to ask about WiFi to be given a tiny slip of paper with the code which worked but seemed a chore as not offered.
The bathroom was clean and shower nice and hot but air con didn’t work other than just a fan really even though it’s July heat.
Next morning was cheery from the staff and I enjoyed a basic breakfast. Glad to only stay one night.

Whoever answers the phone at their number on google , the Indian guy, I think the owner, was trying to overcharge me for taxi service. He said it was €60 to the airport, and when I told him that is BS because my friends only paid €30, he said “you can take the bus then” and hung up on me. Very rude. Very shady. The girls at the front desk were drinking at the bar until 11, but when asked the price of a drink they said they don’t know and they’ll figure it out when I checkout. Just bad business. the man in the morning shift was very nice and booked my taxi . Breakfast was good. Serves its purpose but don’t expect hospitality

Awful service at checkin. Very unfriendly staff at reception. Room was ok but air conditioning didnt work. Neither did internet which miss congeniality at the front desk blamed on trees and says its never worked.
Only convenience is 10 minutes from dropping car rental off at Milan airport.
We would never stay here again.

Great value for a short overnight stays close to MXP airport. They no longer provide transportation but there is a pay for transportation company available. If you have a car, it's about 10 minute drive to the airport. It used to have a very good restaurant but it's now closed, closest restaurants are now a few minutes away by car (one of them will pick you up). Lobby has a small comfy bar. It's still very clean hotel with friendly service but without airport shuttle and restaurant it's not as great as it used to be.

Excellent! Literally 8 min drive from Malpensa airport. Gas station is 2 min away, super easy to get to, and open 24 hours, perfect for refueling your rental can before heading to the airport. Clean room! Super nice staff! Free parking and WiFi. Can’t go wrong for a night stay to catch your plan the next day. Will stay again!

Property was dated and in a undesirable location for the cost per night which was $88. Should be no more than $60 for the location. I don't recommend staying here. The location is literally in the middle of nowhere. I thought there would at least be a market I could walk to but there was nothing for at least 2 miles. The bed was hard as a rock so I did not sleep well. And if you want bottled water, it is not free, you have to pay $3 euros per bottle. That is just poor service. And the room faced the entrance of the hotel so I couldn't keep my windows open at night cause I kept hearing noise from the road traffic and car doors closing in the hotel parking lot. And the walls are paper thin. The taxis are all scammers and lie about costs. Make sure to call the hotel in advance to pay for airport shuttle which is only $10 euros. I google mapped the hotel since it was only 15 min I figured I could uber or take a taxi for cheap. WRONG! I arrived at the Malpensa airport and asked a taxi driver and he said it would be $20 euros. He drove slowly to rack up the cost and by the time I got to the hotel, it was $32 euros ! I wanted to check out Milan on my last day and I didn't want to take a taxi cause I would owe another $32 euros to get to the Malpensa airport to take the train into the city, the hotel said it would be $15 euro to the Ollegio bus station taxi charged me $25 euros to go less than 8 min ! took 2.5 hours to get to Milan from hotel, a taxi, bus, and train required. Crazy

Very good place to stay. Close to airport and rental car return. Its kind of in the middle of nowhere so you need a car if you want to go into town or anywhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Luca. He gave a great tip in that he advised we drive to a subway stop and take the underground into Milan. Parking was only 2 euro for the day and we bought a 24hr pass for the subway. Couldnt have been better. Hats off to Luca. Thank u.
