This is a nice small boutique hotel located about a 20 minute walk or $ 6 Euro Uber ride to the city center. There isn't much in the immediate area . Ideal for short stays.
The service provided by Raul and Diogo was outstanding. They were so helpful and accomodating to anything we needed. Would go back based on the excellent service throughout our stay!!

This is an apartment complex , dirty, broken shower. Dark and narrow stairs . Elevator for only 2 people with small elevators.Breakfast was ok. Nothing special or nice. And no receptionist there all the time . I would not recommend this.

We stayed for two nights and unfortunately had no functioning air conditioning the entire time. It was clear the AC had already been worked on before our arrival, but the issue remained unresolved. After reading other reviews, it seems this has been a recurring problem at this hotel.
The breakfast was underwhelming, and the property had a noticeable smell of smoke throughout. The location also didn’t feel worth staying in, not much around and not very pleasant overall.
One major design flaw was the bathroom: it had a see through wall, offering zero privacy, which was very uncomfortable.
On a positive note, the manager did make an effort to move us to a different room, and we appreciated that. However, despite his efforts, the overall experience was disappointing and we wouldn’t stay here again.

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience from my recent stay at your hotel. While I found the staff to be very polite and helpful, I must express that we were quite unhappy the first night. However, Diogo went above and beyond to accommodate us by changing our room, for which we are grateful.

That said, I feel it’s important to note that while the hotel is listed as a 4-star establishment, in my opinion, it does not meet the standards even of a 3-star rating. From my understanding, there has been a recent change in management, and I believe there are numerous updates and improvements needed before the hotel can rightly claim a 4-star status.

This place is not as pictured and is not a 4 star hotel nor close to being. It needs a lot of repair- curtains wouldn’t close because half is falling of the clips. We reserved 3 rooms for our family and another room did not have AC and the other the bathroom flooded, half of the lighting didn’t work and the view was not pretty- to a bunch a random cleaning stuff thrown in a patio area- plus the cleaning bags were left on the stairs.

My advice is: STAY AWAY OF THIS PLACE!

First of all,’Convo’ is not called Convo anymore. They change their name.

The place claimed to provide parking and that is the reason I got it. They don not. False advertising.

This place is extremely dirty, walls are falling apart, smells, you have no way of sleep because of the window glass been single and you can hear the neighbor's party, on top of that, the place has a very unpleasant strong smell and the A/C does not work properly.

As soon as I booked and walked in I tried to cancel it because I knew I was not going go be happy staying here, the person on the other side of replying text messages via whatsapp said the reservation was non-refundable and would try to talk to the supervisor for an exception on Monday, because that conversation on the end of the day on Saturday. Today is Thursday, I have been kindly texting them about it without any return, no refund was made even though I explained why I was not happy with the place and did not sleep there any night.

They are opportunist and act out of a non-professional place.

Very nice apartment, great for groups of 4-6, the location was good, bear local grocery but not downtown. Theres constructions happening near by and they start at like 8 or 9 in the morning which sucks and is very annoying. I would still overall recommend because its a good deal for the price and the customer service was good. Just to let you know its more like an airbnb rather than a hotel

Best stay at Porto. Clean, a lot of space, the towels are top quality. Room is comfy, everything was great. I enjoy every minute at that room. I would definitely recommend that hotel.

The staff especially Philip and Raquel were amazing.
The only thing that let the hotel down was the breakfast which was not as shown on the hotel website, ie a buffet.
I was informed that the buffet had been withdrawn very recently and replaced with a paper bag containing a paltry carton of fruit juice, an apple and tiny custard tart , a bottle of water and literally the smallest roll I’ve ever seen! It was like a button !!
I asked for more food as my partner is diabetic and that was embarrassing. I mentioned all of this in the hotel website review option stating that a hotel which called itself a boutique four star establishment should be ashamed at how they had let themselves down by such a mean spirited and frankly mean display of cost cutting at its worst.
My partner and I returned for a final night at the end of our holiday to find that the paper bags has been replaced by little baskets with two rolls instead of one which is a step in the right direction! They need to bring back the buffet breakfast immediately! Again Philip on reception was amazing and made a special effort to get our room ready early … give that man a pay rise!

Not only did we not get the requested early check in, but our apartment was not ready at the standard check in time of 3:00pm and we had to wait another hour for it to be made ready. The front desk staff leaves at 3:30, which is baffling to me when checkin isn’t until 3:00. Other than the codes to access our apartment, we received no instruction about the apartment and had to figure it all out on our own.

There is no elevator/lift and our apartment was on the 3rd floor. There were 3 of us with large luggage. The front desk agent did arrange to have our luggage put into the apartment while we were waiting for it to be made ready, but there was no help with luggage when we checked out. The apartment itself was fine though no closet or hooks downstairs to hang coats and umbrellas (it rained a lot) a few well placed wall hooks or coat rack would have been nice. Bathrooms were nice and well maintained, again a few hooks to hang wet towels are needed. Can’t comment on the kitchen or how well it was stocked, because we did not cook. The neighborhood was OK, not much around but a small shopping area about a 10 min. walk. We ate at a very good Italian Bistro, “Mama Mia” that was in the shopping area.

This property was not as advertised. We arrived at 5:00 pm and there was no staff on site. We finally got hold of someone on the phone who told us that staff leaves at 3:30. A fire alarm went off in the middle of the night requiring a visit from the fire department and no staff person was there. No airport shuttle as advertised. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable.

Hotel is about 25 minutes walk to the centre of Porto and there’s not loads to do in the immediate vicinity around the hotel. But all in all, we had a very nice time and the walk was good exercise!

The hotel is new, clean and modern design. The room is very stylish and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

However it has no locked car park so I have to park my rented car near the hotel but car window were broken and belonging were stolen that brings me lots of troubles in my trip.

Anyway, it's still a good and nice hotel if you don't have car to park

Location 10min walk to the Metro (aka. Subway), and another 15min ride to downtown.
The property is very well kept, the room a tad small by european standards and very small by american ones!
Breakfast was simple with very few choices, again the seating area was crammed.
The staff was wonderful.
For a 1-2 nights stay, I would go again if the price is right.

This hotel had excellent service, the rooms were decorated beautifully and it was very clean. Parking is on the street (free on the weekends or hourly weekdays) or 11 euro daily at a parking garage down the street. The location is about 15-20 min walk from the historic downtown (where most of the sites are) but was easy to get to.

Lovely stay at the Metier Boutique Hotel, clean friendly, and comfy. The hotel is a short train ride from the center and is so easy to use. We got a train to the hotel but should have persevered with the machines at the station as it was so cheap.
The hotel was in a perfect spot for us and everything was within walking distance. All of the staff were lovely too!!!!!

On a scale of 1 to 10, this is an 11–and I rarely give feedback like that. From the moment I walked in (after traveling for more 15 hours), Philippe and the rest of the staff were kind, helpful and VERY accommodating. How to get around Porto, the local metro, restaurant recommendations, tour contacts and requesting a taxi for a very early flight. Think about a 5 star full service hotel and you have that in a very quaint, comfortable beautiful hotel with PERSONALIZED service. I had no idea how needy I was until I stayed here—other hotels just never had/took the time to answer them so I was on my own. It was REALLY nice to have people offering to help and truly helping. So, let’s talk about the room—it’s Europe so all rooms are small but this one was so comfortable with lovely decor. The bathroom was meticulous and gorgeous. I had chosen a city view room which had a balcony with chairs. As for the breakfast—WOW. I took pictures for reviews because not only was the food delicious, but it was presented artistically—where I almost hated to take from their “display”. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Metier Boutique hotel. I would certainly stay there again.

I absolutely loved my stay at Métier Boutique Hotel, the staff was simply brilliant and extremely friendly, room was beautiful, spacious, cosy and super clean. There was an issue with the bedroom and it was promptly resolved by Felipe, the receptionist. Also, I usually don't eat much for breakfast, and the staff even asked me very respectfully if there was something wrong with the food because they noticed I wasn't eating much. I thought this was adorable and very thoughtful of them.
If I ever go back to Porto, I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!!!

A wonderful boutique hotel with charm and elegance, each room's decor illustrates a different profession. Attentive staff were willing to go the extra mile, including making us a takeaway continental breakfast along with personalised handwritten notes for our very early morning flight on the final day of our stay. The hotel and staff deliver a lovely warmth which makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. Attention to detail was superb, including rose petals and champagne at breakfast on Valentines Day, complimentary Port on arrival, a souvenir postcard in the room and luxury Rituals products in the bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very friendly staff. Very clean room quiet and comfortable. The decoration its really cool with nice local motifs.
Breakfast was good but not with much variety as its understandable because its a small property. Unfortunately theres was no restaurant but theres a lot near with local cuisine.
The hotel its well located with metro and bus near and a 10/15 walk to the center. Theres a cosy small bar on the top with city view.
I loved that they give a nice welcome drink, a very good Port Wine.. For sure a place to come back next time in Porto.

Beautiful hotel with amazing attention to details. It has a great atmosphere with a beautiful interior decoration.
They use Ritual beauty product ‘which is one of our favourite brands’ in the bathroom and across the hotel. The towels are so fluffy and smells great.
Good breakfast and very accommodating to extra requests.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They treated us feel like family as soon as we walked in and had a nice bottle of bubbly waiting for us in the room.

Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates great taste in style and decor.

Dies war mein vierter oder fünfter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel - schockierend. Einst ein tolles Boutiquehotel mit kleinem, aber feinem Frühstück und guter Einrichtung. Aktuell: null Instandhaltung, Treppengeländer und Klodeckel lose, viele kaputte Lichter, Dachterrasse runtergekommen mit dreckigen Gläsern und vergammelten Pflanzen, alles sehr unaufgeräumt. Betten gut. Frühstück sehr schlecht mit billigsten Zutaten (weißes Toastbrot, Käse und Schinken von sehr schlechter Qualität, Instantkaffee); nettes Personal, aber insgesamt inakzeptabel!

No check in nos foi informado que o quart oreservado não estaria disponível, e nos oi dado um apartamento que, ao entrarmos, ainda não havia sido realizada limpeza. Depois de dois dias fomos convidados a trocar de quarto.Soubemos quando estavámos em passeio pela cidade. Isto nos obrigou a voltar para o hotel para desocuparmos o quarto. Lastimável. A localização fica perto de transportes públicos, mercados, padarias e restaurates. A equipe de trabalho impessoal, mas ok no atendimento. Boa sorte pra quem for.

Lidt oversolgt, men fint

Vi havde bestilt værelse med \"byudsigt\" , vi kunne se to huse. Der skulle være rooftop bar, der var kun et slidt rooftop. Servicen er rigtig god, meget hjælpsomme og imødekomnende, og bortset fra det nævnte, er hotellet fint og pænt. Være obs på at der et par km til centrum.

Joli logement très spacieux avec deux chambres séparés (parfait pour une famille), cuisine et deux salles de bains. À proximité du métro (à quelques stations du coeur de Porto). Communication facile et efficace avec l'hôte.
Seul problème fut la climatisation qui avait de la misère à garder le logement frais.

Alles im allem stimmt hier das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis einfach nicht. Die Zimmer sind oberflächlich sauber, aber zu genau darf man nicht hinschauen. Lampen und Fernseher sind völlig staubig.
Die Einrichtung in der Lobby hat die besten Tage hinter sich, das Frühstück ist sehr rudimentär und könnte mit wenig Aufwand wesentlich besser sein. Die Dachterrasse ist eine absolute Katastrophe und während unseres Aufenthaltes war im Gebäude neben an eine riesen Baustelle. Zudem liegt das Hotel an einer viel befahrenen Straße und trotz doppelten Fenstern ist es sehr laut.

Charmoso, voltado para casais

Quarto pequeno mas muito charmoso, ideal para casais. Atendimento por WhatsApp com resposta rápida, um pouco mais afastado do centro histórico do que parecia. Café da manhã poderia melhorar, mas descobrimos cafés ótimos nas proximidades e deu arrependimento de ter pago com café. Não tem estacionamento próximo, mas nos passam opções de pagos e gratuitos. Única coisa ruim é tirar e levar as malas para o carro pq a rua é muito movimentada.

The hotel has a very big problem. Although rhe check in starts after 3pm, there is no one there.
You have to self check in with keys sent to your phone or email

The main door is broken so it is hard to lock if there is no one there

It seems dangerous to me

Chambre efficace, rien d exceptionnel mais propre et bien. Petit déjeuner très basique. Emplacement un peu excentre mais ça ne nous a pas gêné (15mîn en montée pour revenir à l hôtel)

Dusty, water in the room old / no bottle. Dirty. They should also change the self check-in codes every day otherwise I am scared of other people entering the hotel / room.

Le réceptionniste nous a très bien reçu,notre chambre était prévu pour 15h mais notre avion est arrivé à 7h il a fait en sorte qu'on puisse avoir notre chambre à notre arrivé, très sympa.
Hôtel très propre,30 mn de marche pour aller au centre de Porto,le métro et bus à 5mn parfait.
Quelques points négatifs on avaient une chambre qui donnait sur la rue, c'était assez bruyant.
Le petit déjeuner était pas top,ils peuvent s'améliorer de ce côté là.
La porte d'entrée de l'hôtel qui claque quand quelqu'un rentre ou sort ça résonne dans toute les chambres, là aussi ils peuvent arranger ce petit souci.
A part ça très bon petit hôtel.

Hôtel agréable toutefois…

L’hôtel est plutôt bien situé (25 min à pied de la ville), la literie est confortable et le réceptionniste est vraiment très gentil et professionnel. Il a été génial tout au long de notre séjour.
Toutefois, le ménage n’est pas fait dans tous les recoins, l’hôtel mériterai également un petit coup de renouveau. De plus, malgré un grand balcon pour profiter de la vue, il n’y avait aucune chaise pour s’y installer. C’est vraiment dommage.
Nous avons malgré tout passé un bon séjour.

Wir waren zufrieden, das Hotel ist super modern und hübsch, allerdings sind die Zimmer recht klein - aber ausreichend.

Wir sind 20 Minuten ins Zentrum gelaufen, die Metro ist aber ca 5 Minuten entfernt und Busse fahren auch.

Rundum war alles absolut zufriedenstellend. Wir würden es empfehlen!

Non proprio una bella esperienza, stanza non insonorizzata, rumorosa che affaccia sulla strada, 3 notti praticamente insonni e piene di litigi per strada con tanto di intervento delle forze dell'ordine causa incidente, zona non proprio bellissima, albergo con personale praticamente inesidtinesistente
