Lovely hotel. Staff were friendly, breakfast was good with different things each day, and the room was spacious, clean and well presented. The hotel is a short walk from the metro and there is lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed by stay and would definitely stay again.

Room was very noisy and small for 4* hotel, the facilities in the room were inadequate, only 1 chair for a triple room, 4 hangers for a week stay, lack of wardrobe or bed drawers, no sofa or anywhere to sit apart from beds, TV above a small children bed (even small for a 4 years old, bed that is hooked under a desk.. so plenty head bangs). Impossible to watch TV because there is nowhere to sit.
Lack of proper bar or proper restaurant, bought using the breakfast area space, which is small and tables too close to each other.

Clean, quiet and well appointed hotel, located between two Metro stations.Easy access from and to the airport via Metro from the nearby Trinidad station.

Efficient check in by friendly reception staff.
Walking distance to Balhao Market, many cafes and restaurants as well as a supermarket.

I would happily stay at this hotel on any future visits to Porto.

Would highly recommend for the central location. We had a nice quiet room (409) which was clean although had a humorous toilet which made noises when sitting on it (needs some adjusting but made us giggle for the weekend!).

8 euro for a 2ltr bottle of water not so good but perhaps thats hotel prices (although was offered for free the night before).

Central location. Clean rooms and bathroom.
We asked our rooms to be changed being on the 1st floor overlooking the loud main cobbled road and it took 4 attempts until a helpful lady finally took the time after night one to help us do this.
The roof-top bar was also closed for the duration despite the weather on the Thursday & Friday being superb. This was the main reason we booked the hotel, and were disappointed that we were fobbed off with excuses, when it was most likely staff shortages. On our return we felt it would be fair to get a portion refunded, having spent more than if we had booked a hotel without a rooftop bar, we emailed the hotel twice, and no-one bothered to get back to us, even if only to apologise!

Preferred a better location but still walkable to shops and restaurants within 15 min at least.

Our train arrived at 10am, we were expecting to drop off luggage. Upon arrival, the rooms were ready, but they charged a 10 euro fee for early check in— I feel that’s the only main cons for the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel.

Very nice hotel with breakfast. It had a rooftop bar that offered wonderful views. We liked that the doors locked at night to get in so you had to use your key to enter. The only tiny problem is that the hotel is located in the residential part of Porto. It was only a 20 minute walk to the beginning of all the action so it wasn't horrible but after a day of walking up and down those hills for 15 km., those last few blocks to the hotel were looong. :)

Large comfortable bed, good shower, fridge handy to keep drinks cool. Nespresso machine, but the cups were already dirty or had stains on so we refrained from using. Also a little down on the storage space, but the staff were really good and helped us on our 1st day work out where to view and the top restaurants. Provided us with a steamer as no iron and this worked well. Took up less space too. The storage lockers are relatively big (could fit both carry on suit cases plus 2 bags in there) and very secure with digital pin so no worries about some one taking our valuables when we checked out and returned later to collect our things for the airport. Recommend the hotel. We didn't have breakfast, but good that the option is there.

Stunning hotel

Absolutely stunning city. Hotel was amazing. Clean comfortable and with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooftop bar and sun terrace were an added bonus. Also centrally located only a 10 minute walk down into the centre of Porto. (15-20 mins back up the hill though) Breakfast is in included and was superb with a vast array of choices from cooked breakfast to museli and yoghurt and fresh fruit. We would definitely stay here again.

Make sure room is not facing the street you really can hear the traffic. We requested to be transfered after the first night of no sleep due to noise.
The toiletries is only shampoo and shower gel They dont provide hair conditioner
Lastly if you leave your keys docked so when you come your room would be nice and cold, well their housekeeper removes and takes them. So air conditioning is not great.

Upon our arrival, I called the reception to ask if we could borrow an iron and ironing board. The lady informed me that they only had a steamer available, and if I wanted to use it, I would need to go down to sign an acknowledgment form. I’ve never encountered that before, and it left a bad impression. I ended up not getting the steamer, as we were only staying for three nights.

Overall, it’s a good hotel, but don’t expect much in terms of service.

The room was comfortable and very clean with a great walk in shower .The breakfast had an excellent choice and the nespresso coffee machine was a nice touch . It is easy to get to from the airport using Portos efficient metro system . Get off at Trindade and its a 10 min walk . It is also just a 20 min walk downhill to Porto centre but we often used the metro for the uphill return ! There is a bus from just outside the hotel that will take you into centre. Very comfortable base from which to enjoy the beautiful city of Porto

We loved staying here. We were in town for one night and decided to stay here. We were staying in Lisbon for the week and came here for one night. Great trip! The staff was amazing. The man at the front desk gave us a map of the city and gave us many suggestions for sightseeing and great places to eat. The room was clean and comfortable. I would come back and I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a lovely four night stay at this property. The front desk staff were excellent and helpful in every way especially with directions and restaurant recommendations. The day we checked out we were taking the train to Coimbra and they heard me expressing concerns about having to change trains after 4 minutes with our luggage with only 8 minutes to catch the next train. They asked to see our train tickets and recommended we go right to the second train station. The cost of the Uber was identical and if they had not given us that recommendation, it is likely we would not have been able to change trains in time.

They had a restaurant on site that we didn’t end up using that it looks like a great option for breakfast or a meal in the evening if you didn’t want to venture out. Our room was well appointed and spacious. We found the location to be excellent and central forgetting to tours we had booked and to the main street for restaurants and walking.

I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again if we were back in Porto!

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They give us suggestions of places to eat and visit. They even booked 4 of the sightseeing tours.
The rooms were large and very clean.
