Lovely clean room, big and in a great location for the city. Greeted with drinks on arrival and taken to our room was a nice touch!

The train was easy enough from the airport but it was much easier to get a cheap uber and with the good location, we’d recommend this.

As for the rest of the city, you’re close by transport but it’s incredibly walkable!

One annoying thing was the coffee in the room- this wasn’t filled up properly each day so we had to go out to buy this… not sure why you would only provide 1 milk per couple anyway and then one day it wasn’t filled at all!

The rooftop was also lovely and we went up for drinks each day - it’s a shame they didn’t do an earlier brunch as we would have gone before the airport! Sure it’s absolutely gorgeous in Summer with a bit more sun!

Would definitely recommend for a weekend away!

Staff is top of the line. Kuddos to Lucas, the parking man. The ladies at the reception were very helpful on guiding, suggestions, and prompt to help with every detail.

From now on I will be staying more at Vinci Hotels around world and if ever back to Porto will definitively choose this Hotel.

The breakfast experience was over the top. !

Great place to stay to visit Porto

Hotel was excellent. Accommodation and Service could not be faulted.
Although initially you get the vibe it’s an oasis in a dingy part of town, entering from a typical Porto City Street, we had no trouble whatsoever and the hotel was central to all that we wanted to do. It was very handy to the fabulous Bolhão Market and to the Trindade metro stop where the purple line comes direct from the Airport
Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was out of this world. Staff on the front desk and at breakfast were so helpful too. We had a fantastic time

The property was beautifully decorated. Everything seemed clean and new. We would’ve loved to have had a window that opened a bit in our room. We were on the first floor.Other than that no suggestions. The staff was super helpful with securing a tour on the dull river and also getting reservations at a popular seafood restaurant.

Upon check-in the reception team was really kind and helpful. Overall, throughout my stay the reception was always very smiley and happy to help which was lovely. I found the room delightfully spacious and the bed comfortable; it’s on the harder side but I don’t like soft beds. The AC was strong enough to make the room a comfortable temperature. There were also ample plugs for charging devices which was great, especially by the desk.

The pool is small and there aren’t many chairs. If you want one, you should get there early. However there are also several seats on the restaurant terrace that many use to relax and that’s ok as well. Unfortunately, there also were children not obeying the pool rules and not looked after by their parents which was quite frustrating. Despite this, the rooftop is a nice area to relax and the gentlemen working the rooftop bar were very kind and had a good attitude.

The breakfast had amazing variety and the fresh fruits were fantastic as was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Couldn’t have asked for a better hotel breakfast! It’s also very helpful that they post a chart of how crowded the breakfast is likely to be and that you can take your coffee to go :)

Overall, after this third visit, if I’m ever back in Porto I will make sure to check out the price for this hotel. For this stay it was fantastic value for money and suited my needs very well. The breakfast upcharge for once was really worth it and I will make sure to add that on if I’m back.

From the same name but not the same service

Worst of experiences in Porto. Had a dental emergency so I needed to extend my stay by one day. I looked on the Hotels.com app and it was €88/night. I attempted to reach out to the hotel through the app to see if they could make the accommodation so that they would block out my room from room service and not book a new room. This was my mistake because I waited until I returned to the hotel(20 min later) to make the accommodation of my extended stay. The hotel staff were able to make the accommodation for an addition €40/night. I said that I would just book through the app if it was that much of an increase. When I pulled up the app again, the price available was now also €40 more. I begrudgingly paid the increase while vocalizing the radical price change in such a short amount of time. No one on the front desk staff offered a discount or price match or any other adjustment, but did charge me for the city tax for two people for the previous three night and the additional night though I had already paid for one foe the first three nights on checkin(€18 extra, 6€/day), so the price increased again. I went to my room, booked a different hotel with more amenities for the same price of the new charge at this hotel. The hotel finally responded the following day saying they offered a 10% discount and I had rejected that offer. The staff responded indignantly that there was nothing they could do about the price of the room.

The staff immediately welcomed us with a glass of sparkling wine and took time to go over points of interest on a map with us. Our room was clean, comfortable and functional. The breakfast for 15 euros per person was well stocked with everything we could have possibly wanted to eat. The orange juice was fresh squeezed and they had several different types of coffee available. We ate cooked to order omelets each day and they also had fried or scrambled eggs with sides of bacon and sausage. Lots of fresh fruit and yogurt was also served alongside multiple pastries.

We had such a wonderful stay here. It is super close to the metro so easy access. It is convenient to all of the major sites you would want to see and tons of shopping and restaurants. We were welcome with a welcome drink. They put our bags in the room for us While we were outside seeing before check-in. Just a really lovely experience.

1) Hotel did not reply to me emails re. parking after booking: I had to call from the UK to confirm. 2) We arrived after 3 weeks travel with dirty laundry: the hotel could not DO laundry on the weekend. Instead, they offered the address of a local launderette. 3) Same drinks at terrace bar on different nights: 2 different charges? 4) Parking our car was a nightmare in garage. 5) Breakfast was chaotic on 2 of the 3 mornings; room too small for the buffet.6) Room nor made up at 4pm on last day. Most expensive stay on our 3 week trip and worst value. Cannot recommend,

We stayed in Vincci Bonjardim for 4 nights.

It was very good value, easy to get to from the airport (30-40min train a 5min walk from Trindade station) and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Location was quiet and convenient - not much on the doorstep but just a 5-15 minute walk to the centre and other places to eat and drink.

I reserved a Premium room with 2 twin beds. There was enough room for 2 people and not as cramped as some European hotels. The room is clean and well appointed. The hotel isn't large which I prefer and on a side street which allowed me to walk and not be in the middle of the chaos 24/7. The breakfast was excellent with options for meat eaters, vegetarians and pescaterians. The staff were wonderful and helped me find my way around, local restaurants and taxis.

Love, love this hotel! So pretty inside, loved the welcome glass of sparkling. Our room was spacious, clean and there was a snack, half bottle of wine and water waiting for us.

Small things like a shoe shine kit, shower cap, comb and another kit were so appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful. My one tiny complaint, the bed is a bit hard but have found this in every hotel we’ve stayed in Portugal.

The location is fabulous! So close to transit, both the subway and buses. There are great restaurants just steps away. Wine stores and if needed a laundromat. The pizza place just around the corner is great as well as the burger place just up the street from the metro.

There’s a rooftop terrace with a great view of the city, and a pool too! The menu looked yummy from the food we saw at tables. We just enjoyed a beer there though.

Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel: Very disappointed with the pool area - very small and could not relax anytime near the pool.
Expedia: hotel cost for 2 nights was high with Expedia - will probably revert back to using Booking app as they update customers and can use the cancel option if customer finds a better price. Nor happy with Expedia experience.

Mixed feelings

It was a rather obscure hotel on a side street. The room overlooked an interior yard so all you could see were other people's windows. There was a roof terrace with a bar and a small swimming pool, but it was too cold and windy in early June to enjoy it. I was badly bitten overnight and the staff promptly moved us to a different room. In general, the staff was very helpful. Good buffet breakfast. The distance to downtown was walkable, since the street ran parallel to the main avenue. Neighborhood a bit sketchy.
