This hotel is average. The location is very good. The breakfast was just okay. One day, no eggs. Other days, not very hot. Staff were very nice. Not a lot of room to open your luggage. But we made it work. The beds were okay to good.

At first, we got a room facing the main street and it's noisy. We requested to change to a room on the quiet side and they did that for us for the remaining 3 nights. Staff is very helpful. Location is good and walkable to many tourist attractions.

My stay was overall good. The room was spacious, but would probably need some very minor maintenance, such as resealing the skirting boards and sink, along with a few other small repairs. There was always someone at the reception, which was ideal in our case, as our flight was delayed and we arrived late at night. The breakfast was satisfactory, though a wider selection would have been appreciated. I particularly enjoyed being able to make my own fresh orange juice.

This choice of hotel was convenient. I was able to walk to many locations. Shopping mall places to eat. I found an amazing Chinese restaurant I had peaking duck twice. I brought my family back here. The price was great. The food wasn’t greasy. The people are friendly and helpful. Most of them speak English the staff at the hotel was very helpful. They even provided me a map of the city.

The main reason for booking was that we had a very late arriving flight and this hotel was minutes walk from the metro and had a 24 hour reception. Receptionist was very welcoming even at 1am.

Overall I liked the Stay hotel, it was modern, clean and the staff were friendly. It was an excellent location for arriving from the airport to Trindade metro, albeit uphill.
What I didn’t like was the bedroom lighting, so dim despite the number of bulbs. They also need to deal with the drain smell after heavy rain from the shower area. It’s not the only hotel in Europe I have experienced this, so fine during the dry summers.

The property was very conveniently located to shopping areas and public transport. I didn’t have a car at this time, but I didn’t notice multiple street parking spaces frequently open up as well as a large parking structure next door. The room was clean. I did notice that there were a few things broken such as the curtains, the toilet paper holder and paint chipping off the wall. Also, wish there was better lighting in the restroom. Otherwise it was a great day. There’s luggage storage and an elevator as well (though there’s a few steps up to get to the elevator).

Quality/price was OK. The room we stayed in faced the street and you could hear all the noise outside, even ok a 4th floor. From time to time we felt a terrible smell coming out of the bedroom bathroom. The room had very poor lighting and no place to keep anything, no closet or drawers. First impression: the hotel is very plain and simple. However, the place grew on us (over our 5 night stay). Although the hotel is very sparse, it did have everything we needed for our stay. Great location, just up the hill from Trindade station (turn right after exiting the station). I loved my corner room which was clean and spacious and was equipped with a kettle and teabags. Breakfast was great - I loved the fresh fruit options, appliance for making fresh squeezed orange juice, and the delicious pasteis de nata which is a guilty pleasure for breakfast. There is a Pingo Doce grocery store just a few blocks west of the hotel.

Great place to visit Porto, it's super close to the main metro station and walkable distance from the center (around 20min to the river). The amenities are great and the wifi is very fast (200mb/s) so it helped to work a bit!

Modern hotel near the Trinidad Metro stop. Convenient location 20-30 min walk to many major attractions or 5 to 8 min walk to Trinidad Metro stop to get to the rest of the city. Fear restaurants nearby and NO access to any convenience stores (think bottled water/toiletries). Hotel's air conditioner is hard to operate to lower the temperature and I got lucky that I accidentally got it to work since a lot of other guests had to deal with a super hot room. 15 Euro surcharge for early check in. Breakfast is 8 Euro and just cold meat, cheeses, breads, cereals....so if you want delicious eggs and smoked salmon, this is NOT it. Bring your own shampoo, conditioners, shower gel, face wash, toothrbush/toothpaste, AND Kleenex because hotel only has bar soap and shower caps. It's a great price for a clean updated modern room with awesome shower and easy access to a lot of major attractions, just not filled with amenities and high level services that Americans are used to. I think my stay would've been a bit more comfortable had I come equipped with my own shower gels, ample shampoo/conditioner, and Kleenex. Get a room in the back if you want a quiet room with a good night of sleep. We were on the 2nd floor and wifi was great!
