The room was spacious, clean and well supplied with water, towels and everything else you would need. It was easy to check in and check out. The location was very close to the centre of everything, yet quiet in the eveniings. We would stay here again absolutely.

I was immediately taken by the hospitality and thoughtful and unique touches in my room. I loved the location as it was away from business but close enough to walk to everything and anything. I also had one of the best and most affordable meals of my trip right across the street. I was missing a breakfast and found myself hungry every morning, but that's not to take anything away from this gorgeous unique place. It's just to tell you if you need a breakfast in the morning, this might not be a fit for you. But boy oh boy, if they had breakfast, I would be in heaven. I would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the coolest little hotels we’ve ever stayed in, very unusual interior with lovely artsy details.
It was nice to find a kettle, microwave, coffee machine and fridge, plus full set of crockery in the room in case we needed anything but we didn’t need much as there was a lovely coffee shop next door and so many other great places for all meals, including some lovely breakfast/brunch places within 10-15 minutes walk. It’s a great, central location, with a nice park opposite.
Ines was amazing. So helpful with any requests and she dealt efficiently with our out of hours arrival, making sure we had everything we needed.
Highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay to enjoy the fantastic city of Porto.

Absolutely brilliant. The accommodation was very spacious, very tastefully decorated, lots of facilities and everything was spotless and fresh. We even had two toilets. The bed was big, crispy clean and so comfortable. Lots of lovely thoughtful personal touches. Ines was really helpful and very welcoming. We could even get into our room 3 hours earlier, which was so helpful. She also arranged for our taxi to the airport. Ines own recommendations out together in a map were great. We highly recommend this place. The beautiful park opposite was just getting finished and once done will make this hotel even more desirable. If we come back to Porto we know the best place to stay 😊

Well located, spacious apartment that exceeded my expectations! The place is enormous and the bed was so comfortable with a nice firm mattress. There was no noise or disturbance and the building has a lift to assist with bringing luggage upstairs. The check in process was totally smooth and I couldn't fault this place! Remarkable accommodation ~ with super thoughtfulness. Staying a total of 6 nights in Porto, so very lucky to hit on this state of the art guest house. Sleep on cloud feel king bed plus giant comfy sofa bed. Smart TV is now offered. Big fridge and full kitchenette. Everyday water in designer’s bottle plus capsule coffee, wait at your door. We love Porto more because of this unique place and of course, the generous hospitality from host. Room is spacious that I jog every morning before self prepared abundance breakfast. You won’t believe, right. Really unbelievable, have to come and check. And there are endless details in the room, check them all out. You find them in other reviews. I definitely will re~visit Porto if only, I successfully book this place. One minor issue, need to close all window and turn on air~con while sleeping if you are travelling from soundless city. Not noisy but next to road with random traffic. It’s a six star Guest House, thanks HOST 😊Hugs

Tons of space in a beautifully designed apartment! The location was a bit far from city center but the uphill walk was welcome and provided a quiet respite. Umbrellas, laundry, the balcony, and the wine were special touches and greatly appreciated. Spent one night in relaxing on the patio listening to live jazz from a neighboring business! A wonderfully unique place. The apartment had everything I needed for convenience, the hotel is located on a beautiful square from which there is a street with many restaurants and boutiques and about a 15-minute walk you enter directly into the city center. I used Uber that cost almost nothing to get to train station.

Stayed 3 nights in this fantastic apartment. The room was spotless and a lot of original features have been retained. Its only a short walk from Trindade metro station and a similar distance to the old town.The host provided grest communication and maps of the local area and attractions were also provided. I can highly recommend staying here.

Everything was just perfect. Ines was so welcoming and made sure I was stocked with plenty of water and coffee/tea and had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Beautiful and comfortable apartment overlooking a park in a very secure building and safe area. Perfect location in Porto. I could have stayed a lot longer if I had not already had planned to walk the Camino de Santiago. Highly recommend!!

The hotel was wonderful. Lots of character and charm with everything you could need for a lovely stay. My room was large with 2 bathrooms! I never met Ines but she ensured I had everything I needed using messages. The room was cleaned daily. Tea and coffee provided and a little decanter of Port. The TV had loads of channels in several languages inc English. The area around the hotel was undergoing pavement repairs so was a bit of a mess and noisy but this work will be finished soon (May 23) . Trindade metro station is nearby but is a bit of a climb uphill to reach the hotel. There is a local bus which stops outside the hotel. Porto generally is very beautiful but streets are hilly so be aware if you're not fit. The hotel is within walking distance of all the main sites in the historical centre. There is good public transport. If walking is a problem.

The best experience. The place was clean, modern, and walking distance from all the fun activities. We asked where we could have our laundry done and they said they could do it for us. Our laundry came back all cleaned and folded pro bono. That was incredible service that we didn’t expect. We have the cleaners a good tip. We highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect as it's just \"outside\" the busy area, but close enough to walk into or pick up the metro. Being right across the street from a park was nice as it provided wonderful natural light. In room amenities were excellent as well. The staff was amazing and provided excellent tips about the area. First floor apartment right next to a large, green plaza. The owner was very helpful in providing suggestions on what to do and where to eat, including the purchase of groceries. This accommodation is similar to a hotel room with daily service so while there is a refrigerator there are no cooking or clean facilities. Within walking distance of most downtown Porto sites.

Superb apartment
This apartment is stylish, secure and peaceful. We enjoyed the record player in the evenings and espresso maker in the mornings. Ines was a gracious host, allowing us to check in a little early and leaving us some local port wine to sample and also some local Duoro valley red wine. The neighbourhood is great - excellent bakery next door and everything you need within walking distance. You won’t regret it!

Best service I’ve ever received traveling. Ines told me all about the hidden local gems of Porto and she was only a text/call away if I had any concerns/questions, of which I had 0. The room was beautiful, very clean, and the location was perfect. It’s close to downtown but far enough from the hustle and bustle. Someone left a review saying it was noisy at night but I left the window open every night and this was not the case.
The hotel keys to the room are also super cool. There’s better pictures of the room than what I took on this website. It’s the “garden view” room on the second floor with the double bed.
I would recommend anyone stay here while in Porto.

Beautiful, elegant place which is really a hybrid with the amenities of a hotel like daily maid service with the personal touch of a homestay. Very friendly host, and a great location away from the tourist Ribeira , but an easy walk to it.

Previously it was a very upscale antique car restoration business...very upscale, the floor in the garage is rosewood parquet! Wonderful conversion. This is an unusual property with just four lovely large, light, attractively decorated, very comfortable rooms. The owner of the property was genuinely friendly, easily contacted and readily available to help or advise on places to visit. Nothing was too much trouble. There were lots of homely touches which made our stay a delight. We would certainly go back ourselves and would recommend it to friends and family.

Beautiful apartment
The apartment is conveniently located, 10 minutes to the nearest metro and 15 minutes into town. The apartment itself is spacious and airy with a very comfortable bed. A luxury shower, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities all make for a very relaxing stay. The host is extremely helpful and gave us lots of tips for our holiday. Extra little touches make this a great place to stay we would definitely recommend here.

Overall, this apartment was nice and clean. Ines was lovely. She lives in the building so she was there to check us in when we arrived. She gave us a map and many tips on where to go and what to eat. She also provided complimentary port wine for us to try!
The apartment itself is oddly laid out. You enter to a small sitting room/hallway. To the right is a very small but full bathroom. Beyond that is a sort of spare room. All it has is a day bed and a built in glass display wall with model cars (building used to be some kind of automotive offices, I think Ines said). To the left of the entrance is the main space, with another locking door. All the walls up to this point are glass, so there are large curtains for privacy. The main room is large with a nice big bed, a chair in the corner, an out of use fireplace and mantle. To divide the room there is another large curtain, which also helps block out the sun in the morning. There is no A/C, but one nice fan that kept us pretty cool at night. Beyond that, there is a half bathroom, large windows that open to the outside, and an espresso station. We were in apartment 3 which did not have a nice view like the photos for the apartment I thought I was booking. It looked down onto an old basketball court. The daily housekeeping was thorough. The building is maybe a 10 minute or less walk to what seemed like the main area in town.

Good location. Excellent manager. We had some street noise in our first room and my husband is an extremely light sleeper, but when I mentioned it, she moved us into a larger quiet room in the back for the rest of our trip. She was also extremely helpful with recommendations and was very eager to make our visit as pleasant as possible. The only suggestion for possible improvement would be a TV. Although no AC, it was ok for us because the nights were cool. We would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Porto, and would book again for a return trip.
