Ruby Charm Houses is a peaceful and beautiful retreat tucked away in a quiet corner of Porto. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere feels calm and restful — a perfect escape from the city’s bustle. The property is spotless, stylish, and exceptionally well cared for, with a lovely private courtyard that feels like your own hidden garden.

The location is ideal — close to the metro and just minutes from Porto’s core area, with great restaurants, cafés, and amenities nearby. It’s easy to explore the city and just as easy to relax when you return.

What truly makes this place special are the hosts. They’re warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about Porto, offering great local recommendations and thoughtful hospitality. The welcome treats of fresh bread, orange juice, milk, and other goodies were such a kind touch and made us feel right at home.

Ruby Charm Houses perfectly balances comfort, charm, and convenience — a serene stay with every detail thoughtfully designed. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind while staying close to everything Porto has to offer.

Nice place to stay in Porto.

We stayed for a 7 night break.

Ruby Charm rooms are well equipped and comfortable, with an extensive well laid out garden in which to relax after a day’s sightseeing.

The area has a some good restaurants and shops close by.

Miguel (the proprietor) goes the extra mile for his guests and made us feel at home he is always ready to help.

Although Ruby is a little way out from the centre of the city it was not a problem as there are two metro stations in easy walking (5 minutes) distance

We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to use again and recommend to other travelers.

Comfortable, funky and unique!

This place was simply amazing. I came to Porto for the Primaverasound festival and the Nations League football and it was my first time in the city. Miguel could not have been more helpful and the place is comfortable, funky, unique and a great place to hideaway and chill out. The local area has a couple of fine restaurants and is very close to the Metro, supermarket and places for coffee and pasteis de data. Perfect.

Fantastisch appartement, fijne tuin, en dichtbij metrostation. Ontvangst is vriendelijk en het dagelijkse praatje is prettig.
Bij ontvangst ligt er een brood en 1e benodigdheden in de koelkast. Super service, dat vind je niet overal. Als je Porto wil ontdekken dan ben je bij Ruby charm houses op de juiste plek!!!

Todo fenomenal! Los propietarios encantadores y dispuestos. Cualquier cosa que necesites ahí están. Los apartamentos preciosos, perfectos y súper limpios. El jardín común muy agradable. Puedes hacer tus barbacoas, darte un baño en el jacuzzi, hacer vida en él.

nous avons passé une semaine à Porto, accueillis avec beaucoup de soin et de gentillesse, beaucoup de conseils très justes et des discussions agréables avec nos hôtes.la propreté, la mise à disposition de tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner, le jardin et la possibilité de prendre les repas au jardin, citronnier, figuier...extra! à 10 mn à pieds du plein centre, tout en étant dans un écrin de verdure et au calme, le bonheur de la douceur. nous nous sommes presque sentis chez nous, MERCI!!!
