The Caravan wasn't clean on handover.
Hob was dirty. Shower dirty. Floor really dirty. Accidentally split a drink on floor when i cleaned it up the cloth was absolutely filthy. Beds uncomfortable mattress so hard.

The site is a nice size for kids as it is not too big. The pool area is lovely and the pool was a nice temperature

Lovely holiday park, always clean and well presented. The pool area is great and the kids love it. The only frustration was the limited pool opening hours (10am-5.30pm), when we stayed previously the pool was open earlier and later in the day allowing you to have a swim before going out for the day or when you return. Apart from that i can't fault the place and we will return.

Cleaning was done to a very poor standard. Dropped tv control behind sofa and all matter of dirt and debris was behind there. Toilet had a disgusting smell and extractor was full of dust and cob webs. Toilet seats had stains. Park itself was nice. Friendly staff and ok amenities. Isolated location meant miles from anywhere such as a shop. Need to be prepared to go here as shop onsite very limited.

The park itself is great with good facilities like Bar, play area for kids. But the Lancaster Holiday Home we booked was far from comfortable. It was not the same as shown in the pictures and not cleaned. We complained it at the reception and they came but nothing was done.
I rang the reception before coming to check what all is provided so we can bring accordingly, I was told we only need to bring towels and rest everything is there. On our arrival, there was nothing. No toilet roll, no kitchen roll, no handwash, no washing up liquid, no hoover. The holiday home itself is a bit tricky with the kids with the corridor very congested and only one person can squeeze through it at any one point.
Overall not happy and would not be staying at this park again.

Calloose was a pleasant stay and staff is very nice. On site restaurant is also very good. Only minor thing we missed in holiday home was dish washing liquid. It wasn’t stocked in onsite shop as well which triggered a unwanted trip for us😊. Would definitely visit again.

Great little Holiday Park, good restaurant and bar. Communal toilet / shower block was clean and spacious. Swimming pool for the kids was also very good, accommodation was clean and perfect for our party. Perfectly located to explore Cornwall and its wonderful beaches & attractions, would have no hesitation in booking again in the future.

We stayed in PV 7, a static caravan. We arrived early and were told our caravan wouldn't be ready until 4pm, the official check in time however it wasn't ready until 4.30pm. No apology for the delay despite knowing we were waiting a while to check in.
When we entered our caravan, we found it hadn't been cleaned well. The disappointing thing was it just needed a basic wipe down with soapy water and disinfectant. The dishes were not washed properly so we washed all the ones we were going to use before we used them.
The caravan looks fairly new so it's sad that it's not maintained to best possible standard. After giving the caravan a quick going over, it was fine. It has all the facilities a family needs for a short break.
The site has a pool which was clean and we used it once during our stay. The restaurant on site didn't offer a great selection and was pricey for what it was, so we didn't use it. The play area is great for young children.

Great stay at one of the Tamar lodges, which has been updated with modern decor and flooring. The mattresses were very comfortable. I would certainly go back there again to stay in the future. Lovely site, not too big, friendly and clean.

Check-in was quick and easy. The caravan we stayed in was modern and clean. We ate in the restaurant on the first night, and whilst it was the usual type of menu, it was cooked to a high standard. We didn't use any of the on site facilities as it was a short trip to visit family/day trips, but wpuld certainly book here again 👍

Calloose is a lovely little park. Very intimate and pleasing if you don’t like the big crowds.
My only criticism would be that majority of staff are really quite rude and most unwelcoming. At times it almost seemed that we was an inconvenience to them.
Restaurant food was nice but certainly not worth the price tag put on them. £13 for a pizza with a shop bought base and £6 for a side of 3 chicken wings.

Didn't have high expectations but bed was OK 3/5 Staff friendly and efficient,lent me his Caffeitiere.
No Towels had to hire at two quid a go and lots of things missing,,,,just go and ask. Nice park inland but handy for all the coasts , don't rely on satnav get proper directions

Calloose is a small caravan park but is extremely well kept with good facilities. The caravan we stayed in was new this year and very clean which was great. We had no complaints at all, so would be happy to recommend it.

Lovely camp site really clean and quiet ... pool was heated and shop had basic groceries ... it does say on booking there are toiletries and a hairdryer but none were present on arrival and after asking they said there never have been any !! Didn’t spoil our stay though ... static caravan really clean and plenty of crockery and utensils ... massive fridge freezer and also a fab little balcony to watch the sun setting !!

The most fantastic first family holiday! Nothing was too much hassle for the staff they made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel so welcome. The restaurant food is AMAZING and you can even get a takeout from there and eat in your caravan which helped us alot with a baby! The caravan was spotless and had everything we needed and more. The site was also spotless and very well presented and we really enjoyed the play area

The camp is excellent - good base to explore- staff are great helpful and efficient. It would be great facilities for children. Despite Covid restrictions which camp handled efficiently we had excellent time. Had two drawbacks which did advise reception on check out. Firstly our caravan and double bedroom backed on to a sewage outlet pump which gurgled all times day and night when caravans pulled flushes etcetc. Would recommend CP4 be moved from current position and area left clear . Secondly the caravan was excellently cleaned but there was an odour of wet dog and marks on one part of seating. No doubt cleaning will remove but we sprayed many times and smell continued. For what it is worth my recommendation would be that only certain caravans be allocated to people who bring dogs. People obviously let their dogs sleep on the seatings and whilst I do not want spoil fun of those who want to holiday with their animals I do not want the smell up my nose and on my clothes afterwards. Caravans for those with dogs - and caravans for those who do not bring a dog would eliminate this problem as it is the only item that would stop me booking again. Sorry if I upset people with this request but I do not spoil people’s holidays and do not expect others to spoil mine. Otherwise a great few days but sewage pump noises and dog smells were only set backs

Excellent little holiday park, well laid out and easy to access the facilities. We stayed in PV9, all of the holiday homes in our row appeared very modern and it was extremely clean when we arrived. The pool was a 1-2 minute walk away. The pool is a decent size for the size of the site and was a nice temperature. It had a max limit of 24 but we only saw it reach capacity once during our stay which was handy as we were always able to use it. The kids play area was also very nice for sitting out in the evening. We'd read some of the reviews about the quality of the food in the restaurant so gave it a try on our last night. We weren't disappointed! In terms of location it is perfect for travelling around to local beaches etc. Towan beach was beautiful (just be aware of the odd weeverfish lurking about by the rocks). Our 3 year old was unfortunate enough to stand on one but the lifeguards helped us out and provided hot water to null the sting. We had a great stay at calloose and would definitely recommend it.
