Bathroom was excellent and towels were replaced every day if needed

This property presents very well. It is nicely decorated and our room was spacious with a gorgeous view of the surfing beach and coastal walking paths. The owners Gavin and Charlotte are very welcoming and non-intrusive. You’re given a wide choice for breakfast, with the porridge being divine.

Tregony Guest House was the perfect choice for our trip. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better - just a short walk to the beach and close to local shops and restaurants. Breakfast each morning was fresh, tasty, and a real highlight of our stay. The hosts were warm, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The location was fantastic, parking was a bit tricky in busy council carparks but this is a St. Ives problem and not related to property. Overall a lovely experience, and we would reccomend it.

Little gem in St. Ives

Lovely little guest house and the hosts were really kind, attentive and helpful. We stayed in double ensuite room (Room 5) which had stunning views of Clodgy Point, Porthmeor Beach and the armchairs helped soak in the views every morning and evening during our stay. Also couldn't fault the breakfast which was an added bonus. Looking forward to my stay.

Great B&B in the centre of St Ives, just a short walk from the Tate gallery and beach. Charlotte and Gavin were very welcoming and helpful, letting us check-in a bit later and leave our bags after check-out. They also made some great restaurant recommendations. Room and breakfast were both nice.

This was my first time in.a b&b and I couldn’t have wished for a better introduction.
The owners were really friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious with a wide variety. My room was clean, comfortable, quiet and had a fantastic view.
When I arrived I was told to treat it as my home and that was just how it felt. It was a real pleasure to stay there.

Lovely little guest house. Charlotte and gavin were fantastic hosts couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was fab, lovely views. The hand gel and shower gels were a really nice touch. Immaculately clean and lovely towels. The only slightly negative I would give is that if you are on the older side of life the hill up to the guest house would be difficult.

I stayed here for one night and wished it could have been longer. The owners are such lovely, welcoming and helpful people. The room I stayed in was beautiful with an amazing view of the beach and a very easy 5 minute walk to Tate gallery, beach and everything else. The Tregony Guest House is a real pleasure to stay at. The welcome is warm and informative, the whole place was very clean and well designed. Our room had tea and drinks facilities which were replaced effectively and breakfast was excellent. We had a great night's sleep on a very comfortable bed. The Tregony is close to the centre of St Ives and very close to Tate St Ives. I loved our stay there and would recommend it without reservation and will be returning soon we hope..

Excellent place to stay. The room was spacious and clean. The property is in a very convenient location near the water. One thing is parking. There is a public parking space nearby but it is often crowded during the peak season.

Wonderful stay in lovely St Ives

We had a brilliant time with Charlotte and Gav in their lovely b&b! They were both so friendly, and went over and above for us. I contacted them ahead of our stay to ask if they could help me organise a surprise for my husbands birthday, and Charlotte organised a few gifts to be left waiting in the room for us. Our breakfast was really tasty every day and filled us up until dinner. Our room had an amazing view over the sea (we didn’t want to leave!) and the room itself was really cozy comprising of everything you could need. The location is perfect, just a five minute walk into town or the sea and parking facilities round the corner. Can’t recommend enough, we will be back!

Charlotte and Gavin are friendly, warm and welcoming and pleased to help with any wishes, concerns or requests you may have. The rooms are spotlessly clean, fresh and bright with modern furnishings. There is plenty of choice for breakfast, which is prepared to order - well-cooked and presented. Our 3 day stay at Tregony enhanced our short break in St. Ives. Highly recommended.

Close to the beach & town centre

The guest house was nice and clean and had everything we needed. The only minus point was that there is no parking and we had to park 10 mins away which was a trek given that St Ives is very hilly. But no quarms about the guest house itself. The hosts were friendly, attentive and helpful. Definitely recommend!!

A lovely stay in St. Ives

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Tregony Guest House and recommend it to other couples. Our room was a bit small but comfortable and clean; the breakfasts (included in the price) were excellent; the hosts were friendly and accommodating. One caution: the guest house is located on the top of a steep hill--so be prepared for a hike from the train station! Perhaps a taxi (a bit less than five pounds) would have been a better choice!

The couple running this guest house were extremely helpful and could not do enough to make our stay the best guest house experience we have known. The house was beautifully presented, our room was delightful, the beds comfortable and the breakfasts were superb every day. We will certainly recommend Tregony Guest House to all our friends and relatives. All in all, Charlotte and Gavin deserve Gold Star recommendation for their holiday accommodation.

Couldn't ask for more helpful and welcoming hosts. Cooked a lovely breakfast every morning with vegetarian options. The room was kept clean and attended to regularly and had a really useful pack with a map and list of local attractions and restaurants. Good location and parking, will definitely recommend and stay again.

GREAT STAY/ PERFECT LOCATION

We had such a lovely stay at Tregony Guest house. The owners were so nice and accommodating. It was amazingly located for the harbour and beaches. We were so impressed with how extremely clean the room was. Cooked Breakfast was also very good with a great sea view from the dining room. View from Room 5 is spectacular

This guest house overlooks the sea and provides a wonderful unobstructed view. The Tate Gallery is just a short distance away as is one the most lovely beaches in the area. The breakfast was well prepared with fresh fruit and a variety of cereals plus the full English. The hosts are knowledgeable and helpful and the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Welcoming Bed and Breakfast in lovely Saint Ives,C

Owners Charlotte and Gavin were most welcoming and were accommodating with our requests. House was spotless, bed good, breakfast excellent, and view from our top floor room lovely. Fairly steep climb to get to the property as on the top of a hill but quiet neighbourhood. Would definitely stay again because of Charlotte and Gavin, the good price and the spotless property.

Wonderful comfortable stay in St Ives

My wife and I enjoyed a very comfortable one night stay thanks to the hospitality of Gavin and Charlotte. Our double en suite, with a stunning sea view and a nice touch of binoculars provided in the bay window, was spotlessly clean and tidy. Gavin and Charlotte gave us a great welcome, a very personal touch taking time and care to show us the amenities in the room and ensure we were happy. Breakfast next morning was excellent, varied and plentiful. Thank you also for minding our bags for a few hours, it meant a lot to us. All in all, a superb stay. Gavin and Charlotte work hard, look after their customers, and the high standards presented are a credit to them. We'll be back one day again!
