We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome, and showed to our room which was spotlessly clean, if rather small, but perfectly good for a one night stay. Decor/furnishings/breakfast room really nicely done.
There was lots of choice for breakfast (vegan options well stocked), however the was no 'full English'.
Parking was road-side round the corner, but still within 50 metres.

Absolutely loved our stay in St Ives. Green Apple b&b exceeded all expectations and we will definitely be back. Adrian is a truly wonderful host who made us feel comfortable at all times and nothing was too much trouble. He was always available when we needed him and extremely pleasant to talk to. He is very clued up about the area, this helped us a lot. We also aren't the type of family who would normally eat continental breakfast as we prefer a full english, but it was so lovely! Everything was so fresh and tasty and there was a lot of choice! The kitchen area was very pretty and quirky, and our room was lovely and had a beautiful view of the sea, our beds were extremely comfortable. Nothing to complain about! Thank you!! :)

The owner, Adrian, was amiable and very attentive. However, the room (Pacific Rose) we were given had a very musty smell. When we opened the door, we thought it was the initial smell of the room that had not been opened very often, so we decided not to make a fuss and try to enjoy the stay, especially since we came in the evening. We booked the room for two nights. However, the smell was so strong we couldn't sleep. I decided we could not remain in this condition any longer, and I booked a hotel for the next night. I was wondering how safe it was for us to spend another night there, especially since we had a child with us. We mentioned to Adrian about the smell in the room, and he was aware of the situation.
Nevertheless, we were given the room. Adrain has taken what we said, so I hope this will change for future guests. Some might say that is why we did not ask for a different room and stayed another night. I would answer why we have not been offered a proper room in the first place if the owner was aware of the condition of the room, and was still happy to invite paying guests. Anyway, I hope the room will be sorted, as Adrian was a perfect host. However, I think for us it is the last stay in any B&B, and we will use hotels in the future.

Lovely clean room, plenty of space for our clothes for a 5 day stay. Fab view out to sea. Recently refurbed bathroom. Plenty of choice for breakfast, Adrian even got in extra stuff for me as I'm gluten free, and generally couldn't do enough for us. Very handy for buses and little supermarket only a few doors away.

Owner, Adrian really friendly & helpful. Happy to answer any query about ways in to St Ives, local beach and places to eat locally. Room adequate size, clean & bed comfortable with partial sea view. Breakfast had good selection of 'continental' style food; such as boiled eggs, nice ham,cheese, fresh fruit salad, croissants, fruit juices & proper filtered coffee. All help yourself but Adrian on hand if required + 'top ups'. Rooms not serviced daily unless needed but did not pose a problem for a 3 night stay. Guests able to replenish milk etc for the room. B&B near bus stop or 15minute walk to local lovely beach, need good mobilty for walk through beautiful wooded path, however there is a road/ pavement route. Would definitely return to stay at B&B!

It was easy and cheap to get to St Ives on the train, and the beautiful Carbis Bay beach is a short walk away. Adrian was brilliant.

What a find. Adrien is a great host. Every room is decorated differently and to a high standard. For breakfast you could have cereal, ham,eggs, cheese, waffles, crumpets, toast, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, juice and of course tea and coffee. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Lovely host at Green Apple who welcomed us on arrival. Bright and cheerful room and very good help yourself breakfast. If your looking for authentic Cornwall go elsewhere as Carbis Bay beach which used to be beautiful has a big holiday complex right on the beach now and St. Ives has been taken over by second home owners which has left it soulless and full of 4x4 BMW aggressive drivers cramming the streets.

Really lovely stay at this guest house. Adrian who runs the property is such a nice guy and couldn’t be more helpful. The room we were in was perfect for what we needed - somewhere to sleep and shower! It was clean, had a really comfortable bed with quality pillows, nice fresh linens. Breakfast was great for a continental and had so much choice for everyone, it was great that they even had speciality milks which you often don’t find. Location is great for Carbis Bay Area and the beach there is beautiful. But is a bit of walk into St Ives either down the main road or on the coastal path (which we would recommend- 30-40 mid approx) and only a short taxi ride back from St Ives to the guest house if you don’t want to walk! Would definitely stay here again and recommend as a place to stay!

This is a fantastic location for exploring the south end of Cornwall. The b&b was easy to access, lots of great places to eat within walking distance, short walk to the beach, the room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Definitely would stay again next time we visit Cornwall.

Location was good as bus stopped close by to go to st ives. Our room was cramped. We think it’s overpriced for what you get. Wouldn’t stay again Bed too soft, it was warm weather & the duvet was very thick. We was sweltering. No body wash only small bars of soap & tiny shower room no shelves to put our toiletries. Seagull pecking at the tiny window late evening & early morning. Breakfast was very nice. ( continental +) except the tea pot was far too big & heavy.

The place was clean with daily housekeeping and Adrian was very welcoming and helpful. The place is located 5 minutes from Carbis beach which is the best beach in st.ives .

From the outside it was just another b&b with a stunning view, but as you step inside you see the love & detail that’s been put into it by the incredibly friendly owner Adrian.
Our only minor negative was that the room we stayed in was a little on the small side but as they were fully booked and we didn’t book until last minute we were more than happy to be accommodated.
We will definitely be returning and would definitely recommend to others.

This is a lovely B&B. We were warmly greeted by the owner, Adrian, who filled us in on the area and where to eat nearby. Our room was quiet and clean with all facilities. The shower could have down with a bit more power but the owner is already on to that. Our self-serve breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Free parking was no problem and just a short drive from St Ives centre this was perfect for us.
