Spotless and well designed with lovely surroundings.. we did not want to leave ! Owners were delightful and fun to talk to. Walk to town center is doable, but not with luggage. There is no ac, but we managed as we were mainly out in the day. Yummy breads and fruit, granola, yogurt and beverages provided. Fantastic!

A genuinely special place to stay. The setup was cosy and self-contained, with views of both the sea and across the garden, complete with horses! The cream tea waiting for us on arrival was such a lovely touch after the long drive, and the fresh croissants were a simple addition we appreciated every day. The hosts kept things fresh and tidy without ever being intrusive, which struck just the right balance.

It's the kind of stay that feels looked after in a personal way you don't often find. Cornwall itself was wonderful, but having somewhere so homely, clean and welcoming to come back to each evening made the whole trip. We'd return without hesitation.

It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from the B&B to the causeway out to St. Michael's Mount (we didn't have a car). But it was probably the nicest place we stayed on our three-week trip to Ireland and southwestern England! It's next to a pasture with horses and has a lovely lawn with chairs, and the bathroom and bedroom and kitchen areas are large and beautifully appointed. We wished we could stay longer!

Beautifully furnished

I had the loft. Beautifully furnished. I especially love the layout with bed and sofa overlooking the balcony to the field. Very calming indeed. Even the blinds created a pattern when the morning light shone through the perforations. Quite magical.

The hostess was very responsive on email and obliging. Her personal touch of home made scones and Cornish cream tea was very much appreciated. Breakfast consisted of delicious croissants. There was a complimentary bow of fruit as well.

The toiletries smelt wonderful. Just watch your head on the sloped ceiling

I highly recommend you stay here. A stones throw from st Michael’s Mount. Actually nowhere is really far away in Cornwall …. It’s all very manageable

Had an excellent 2 night stay in 'the loft' in a lovely quiet location with great views.

The Loft is fitted out to a high standard, and there's nothing better after a day of work as sitting on your own balcony with a cuppa and a free cream scone (4 of which are provided on your first night). The provided breakfast is varied, plentiful and more free fresh croissants arrive every day.... although for 1 person, 4 is definitely too many to get through each 24hrs.

I look forward to hopefully staying again when back in the area for work later in the year.

Very happy to recommend for both work and holiday stays..... i'm sure a week's stay would be just as relaxing.

What a fantastic getaway, we were met upon arrival although the details for getting into the property were emailed, i missed it! When we got in, there was a welcome gift of some lovely scones and clotted cream which was just the cherry on top as the accomodation was beutifull. The sofa and chair in the seating are were so comfortable and we spenf the morning of day 2 just chilling out there with a book due to the rain, the bed was so comfortable i could have stayed in it all day. It was so much better than just a b&b due to having so much space, the included breakfast came in the form of fresh croisants which were delivered in the evening before, Bread, cereal, fruit, orange juice and yoghurt, all of which are in the property and replaced daily if used, to be honest it was more than enough and we found cereal, toast and croisants plenty. It was a short 10 min walk to get to the beach and then a few more minutes to walk across the beach/path to St Michaels mount, we also took the opportunity to walk the coast path to Penzance which was around 45 mins each way. There are plenty places to eat in Marazion, a bakery that does the obligatory cornish pasty and a couple of pubs, one of which (The Fire Engine) we ate in one night, nice pizza & beer and friendly staff. This is a great base to venture out from, close to pretty much everything you would want to see in Cornwall, thanks for a great stay.

I couldn’t not write a review about this stay! The host goes above and beyond to make this a really special stay. The place is gorgeous and is kitted out with everything you might need. Really comfy bed, lovely linen and towels. The extra touches with juice/croissants/scones are the cherry on top. Couldn’t ask for better.

We stayed in the upper room, which had a small fridge and microwave to help if you want to eat the odd meal in the room.
Bread, yoghurts, Croissants (plain and apple per person) were delivered each day for breakfast. Lots of tea, coffee etc provided.
They catered for my gluten intolerance with ease, by providing extra GF breakfast items for me.

A fantastic week

A lovely property and great location for exploring South Cornwall. We hired the whole house in August 2023 and were not disappointed. The owners kindly left us a welcome basket and had the house ready for our arrival. The location is approx. 10 minutes walk from the beach and about 15 minutes from the shops and restaurants in Marazion. The owners popped by to say hello and answer any questions we had as well as giving us some good tips for dinner and days out.

The location was great for us and we enjoyed says out to Perranporth, Flambards, Lands End, Michaels Mount. St Ives and a lovely walk along the coast into Penzance. For St Ives we got the train from St Erth which was around 4 miles away and had plenty of parking. The journey on the train was lovely as it goes around Hayle\Carbis Bay before arriving in St Ives, having got their we knew we'd made the right decision as parking was very limited.

A perfect week and we'd definitely stay there again.

What a fab place! Everything was thought of and the quality was exceptional right down to the bathroom products. Fresh bread, butter and jam daily with warm croissants brought over by evening. Perfect base for sight seeing with St Michaels Mount just 10 minutes walk away. Whats not to love. Will definitely stay again

We spent a wonderful 3 nights at The Lookout. It was great to have the use of this amazing space with exclusive use of the garden.
Erika went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Because I am coeliac, she even made a gluten free Victoria Sandwich cake which was delicious and provided a great variety of GF options for breakfast. These thoughtful details, beautiful surroundings and exceptional accommodation gave us an outstanding break.I thoroughly recommend.

What an amazing little find, great location roughly 10 minutes walk from the beach. Everything at the property has been finished to a high standard and exactly as per the pictures. The host provided a wide variety of snacks and drinks which was unexpected but a lovely gesture especially after our our long journey, the scones went down a treat! We will be returning soon, hopefully the weather will be ok our side this time, thank you Erika.

What a wonderful location and property! We had a fantastic time here, it is so well located and has the most beautiful views.
The rooms are finished to such a high standard... the decor, furnishings and design are all 5*, and left us feeling very relaxed and spoilt! The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was amazing - really well designed and fitted out.
I am definitely going to return here. The owners were incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgable and really added to the quality of the stay. I’d recommend staying here! Lovely place.

Last weekend my partner and I stayed at The Lookout. It was everything we'd hope for and more. We arrived late due to the storm. So it was a nice touch to be greeted Dan when we arrived though we had previously received our access details.

The Lookout was immaculate. You could see that they've put a lot of thought and energy into the design of the place from the underheated floors to the fireplace. The bathroom was huge with a massive bath and a walk-in rain shower which was just glorious. The bed was super comfy.

Freshly baked pastries, bread, a massive bowl of fruit, juice, milk, butter and cereals were provided for breakfast. Erika was ever so kind as to cater to my dietary requirement and stocked the fridge with Almond milk for me. They were on hand when we had any questions but also left us to our own devices. We enjoyed our stay, just wished we could have stayed longer. If we are ever in Cornwall again, we will be back.
