Couldn’t be better.

It was a delightful two night stay with a full Cornish breakfast. It seemed to have been renovated recently. Very clean and up to date. Location was excellent - a 3 minute walk from the train station and bus depot. Belinda and Bob were wonderful hosts. Would definitely reserve again on any future trip to Penzance. Easy to get to St Ives and Mousehole/Newlyn.

This place is located just outside the penzance railway station. Restaurants, pubs, Tesco, co-op and the very important bus stop is located in a very close proximity and makes it the perfect place to stay. The owners are very friendly. The breakfast they made was very good.

A really warm friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. That feeling of a traditional bed and breakfast from childhood. Two minutes from the high st , five minutes from the railway station and the bus station. Ideally placed for visiting more of Cornwall be it by rail or bus.

Friendly, comfortable and convenient

Just an overnight stay between the train and the morning ferry but I’m glad I did.
Very friendly and personal, early breakfast when they didn’t have to. And very good breakfast, set me up for the rough crossing. (Don’t go on an empty stomach)
Quiet, comfortable bed, good shower, clean, couldn’t ask for more.
15 minutes walk to ferry, 5 from station.
I hope places like this continue, it will be a sad world when we only have a premier inn as an option.

I love that it’s near the train station to go to other places outside Penzance and the bus stations near by too. The locals are friendly in Penzance they give you some tips to what you can do down there and the best place for a Cornish pasty's. I was in bedroom 2 the single bed this was lovely cosy room en-suite too but the bed always made a sound when moving in the bed might need a new mattress soon.There was 2 occasions when someone outside my window somewhere was smoking weed and it filled my bedroom of it which wasn’t nice. Must be the pub owners next door to the b and b and the view of the window wasn’t nice. The walls were a bit thin too for other people staying there you could here there tv too. There was an occasion I could hear someone snoring next door to my room. I have to say the breakfast was good but I prefer fresh sausages and not frozen ones. I like the fact the b and b owners ask you what plans you had and they gave good advice what you could do in and around Penzance. They were always friendly and they like a laugh too. So overall a mixture of good and bad. The price I paid was £350 for 6 nights which is better priced than some other places.

A good value stay with friendly owners

My room was a small single with en suite. Looked recently modernised and very clean. Bed comfortable and breakfast good and cooked to order. Fine for a single night stay but I would have found the room small for a longer stay. Location very convenient near town and railway station. Quiet location. Owners friendly and helpful

Good spot for the station, city and ferry

An overnight stay on a drive around the West Country. Small hotel easy to find on the main road opposite the railway station a few minutes walk to the harbour and town centre, pub next door but still quiet at night. Friendly owner, small single room big enough for one with good bathroom. Excellent breakfast with delicious Cornish sausage as well as all the usual things. An early breakfast was offered if I had been catching the ferry to the Scilly Isles. Easy free parking on adjacent streets

Very close to train and bus station, and walkable to town.
Room a tad crowded and a little dusty, but the shower pressure was fantastic.
On the main road so traffic is understandably noisy.
Bed could have done with a new topper (springs were rather noticeable).
Breakfasts were the usual cereal and cooked options, but were very good.

Typical little Cornish B and B. We had an ensuit room which worked well for us. Everything you should need in the room. Excellent breakfast. The owners are very friendly and work very hard to make your stay enjoyable.

This B&B is very close to the train station, so convenient when you're arriving late into Penzance. However, don't expect a lot of comfort: the bathroom was tiny (it was hard to move inside and there was no mirror above the sink), the beds were not very comfortable (duvet covers were an old-looking beige that would benefit a refresh), and worse, there was what appeared to be a kitchen smell early in the morning.
Breakfast was good and made to order (Cornish traditional breakfast).
All in all, acceptable for a quick overnight stop, but you will not want to linger.

The B&B was close to the train station, it had friendly staff & good breakfast. Downside was that it was not made clear that the room was not ensuite & that I had to share a shower. If the price per night was lower then the experience would have been fine.

This b and b is in serious need of a major rennovation. The floors are uneven and creak. The rooms are all small and the facilities are all antiquated. The worst thing about this b and b is that the beds are all outfitted with mattresses that should have been retired shortly after WWII. Ditto for the bedding, although clean, it had all seen a better day. This b and b is substandard against all other b an bs that we have stayed at in the UK. We would not recommend it in any aspect except the wifi was good!

Only there for one night. Had to find street parking, but it wasn't too hard. Small room, but certainly enough space for sleeping. Bathroom was well-appointed, except for a bizarre sliding door that didn't really close - more a screen than a proper door. Breakfast was good, with friendly and quick service. Located just behind the main rail station - an easy walk along the marina to restaurants and pubs.

Overall quite good, The Duvet on our double bed was barely adequate and the mattress nothing special. There seemed to be a TV on in another room until the early hours which disturbed us. The shower head leaked and needs replacing.
However the room was good, the staff helpful and we had an excellent breakfast.

Most uncomfortable bed ever!

I will say that both the room and bathroom were very clean. The hotel is old but the matress on my bed must be even older than the hotel. The springs were popping through. It is absolutely the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on.
