The rooms are very small, but tidy. Be warned, you can’t control the temperature of any of the rooms at the hotel from the rooms. Heating and air con is set centrally from reception so be prepared to either freeze or bake depending on the time of year you visit and your own preference on temperature.

The neighbourhood the hotel is in is really nice and it’s only a 5 minute walk to the nearest tram stop or a 10 minute walk into Sultanahmet and the centre of the old town.

Had to call front desk every couple of hours to turn on air conditioning. WiFi was not working. Tv remote did not work. Front desk person rudely told me I look like an ugly celebrity when I checked in (we are both black so we all look alike?). Spoiler: I look Spanish and she is a dark-skinned woman. Hotel is convenient to all the major sites and transportation though.

Noise night working - directly outside of hotel

Booked a 3 night stay here. Hotel location very good central for tourist attractions. Rooms on the small side, clean and bed comfy and bathroom facilities good.
Work is currently being carried out on the street directly in front of the hotel - during the night!! Something out of the control of the hotel but we were unable to sleep for the noise - really bad. We moved rooms to sleep on our third night stay, we should have been offered this option also on night 2, we complained to the night shift person on reception, but were left to try to sleep in our room which was impossible. This spoilt our stay.

I enjoyed my stay the amenities were ok. The shower was tight in space and leaked but the water pressure was excellent. Ths internet was weak and entirely optional at times. The views of the river were wonderful and the location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance. The staff were helpful.

The property was in a central location near the grande bizarre. The property was very clean and staff was excellent. The problem with property was that maintenance shut down the water to do repairs and I couldn't take a shower. There was no tissue paper. The property was very clean, freshly painted and roomy. I would recommend this property.

The location was perfect. I contacted the manager the night before arrival and got an airport transfer booked very easily. The reception staff and manager were very friendly and helpful. They were always happy to help. The terrace is also amazing for views of nearby mosques. We had a very pleasant stay. Air conditioning and shower were working perfectly. The cleaning ladies kept our room spotless both days. Everyone was very nice and helpful. A great Thank you

Mina Boutique Hotel is very well-maintained, room are very clean, sma ll but very nice, Beds are very comfortable, loved the shower water pressure. Incredible location. Walking distance to grand bazaar, mosques, many other attractions. Very fair pricing. The hotel itself is pretty clean, comfortable beds. AC unit worked well. Our mini fridge wasn’t cold enough and started leaking a little bit but we didn’t use it too much. Staff are super friendly and helped us book a taxi to the airport at 4am in the morning. Definitely would stay here again if I have the privilege to come back to Istanbul.

Although the rooms have good design and are very clean, they are really small and cramped with no view (we had two superior rooms which looked much bigger on the photos), the hotel doesn’t have any common areas, feels a bit claustrophobic and there are no facilities. They don’t even serve breakfast, the excuse being Covid, while most other hotels in Istanbul do. The rooftop has a nice view but again, not even a coffee machine there, though it used to have a bar. We felt we didn’t want to spend three nights there, as we had initially booked, and checked out after the first night. Although we hadn’t prepaid anything, we were still made to pay for one additional night for both rooms as the reservation was made through Expedia and apparently they still had to pay the full Expedia commission. Expedia tried to contact the property to sort it out but they wouldn’t pick up the phone and talk to them. As our time in Istanbul was precious, we didn’t have the time to argue and just paid the inflated bill but the experience left a bitter taste and we wouldn’t go back to this hotel.

Loved staying here. The location was just about perfect for seeing a lot of attractions, many of which are in walking distance. Lots of places to eat and a few local supermarkets within a few minutes walk. Considering it’s location, it was also very quiet and peaceful. Service in the hotel was excellent and very friendly. Room was great and very spacious. Would highly recommend and would personally come back there.

What a lovely hotel. Decor was fabulous, very modern and pleasing to the eye. The staff are all very accomodating and helpful. Always polite and happy to help. For a small boutique type hotel the breakfast was adequate. Tasty but would be better with more of a selection. Only reason i gave 1 less than excellent review was due to the poor wifi connection and no english tv channels and the shower cubicle in the standard rooms are tiny... Other than that i would reccomend this hotel to anyone. The location is fantastic, within 5-7mins walk to every main attraction. Plenty of shops and restaurants to pick from.

This hotel is conveniently located at Sultanahmet which are the main tourist attraction area. This hotel area is surrounded with cafes, supermarket, pharmacy and travel agents.

The hotel room is small but the bed is very comfortable with a nice view of the Bosphorus, especially at the hotel's roof top. The breakfast is simple but very healthy and delicious.

We arrived very early in the morning but the hotel staff was very friendly and gave us the early check-in. The staff also helped us arrange a visit to the Viaport Theme Park.

Overall the Mina Hotel are an excellent experience for us and we will definitely stay at this hotel in the future.

This is a lovely boutique hotel with nicely decorated room, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms with toiletries. Spacious closet and a small fridge. Had a facet that shoots a stream of water outwards that got my shirt wet. Since my check in on Saturday, I asked them if they can address this problem, the problem wasn't fixed for a week until I checked out.The reasons that the staff gave me for not having fixed the problem is quite incredible: the maintenance person only starts working from Monday(no one told me this when I asked them twice over a weekend), the person who took my concern was sick and away.

On the last day, I asked for one hour extension for check out. They declined as the hotel is full. (although the night before a staff told me there weren't...) I asked them since the problem with the facet is not fixed, it would be great if they can at least grant me an hour extension, they said affirmatively 'those are two different problems'. After, the check out, I wanted to pop by the Grand Bazaar and asked the staff to keep my backpack that had wallet and passport. They again said no as they cannot be responsible for the items inside. I travel 60 days in a year, never ever I had stayed in the hotel with staff like this.

The internet there is whole other problem. I had to 'hotspot' my computer from my phone during my entire stay as the strength was so weak. My staff who stayed in this hotel with me worked all week at the tea shop next door as they had better wifi.

The metro is 2 min away and you can also choose to walk because there is a lot of sightseeing just a few minutes away. From the moment we landed everything was well organised by the hotel. The person waiting to take us to the hotel was there in time. It is about 3-4min walk from the Blue Mosque, and a short maximum 7-8 min walk to topkapi palace, haga sofia and the grand bazaar. I would definitely go back and stay in the same hotel.
