We loved our room, good size, fab high ceiling, sea view. Really quiet even though it is on the sea front. Parking easy and reasonable price in underground car park ( look it up before you go to find the entrance road). Fridge in room was a bonus. Bath was huge and shower perfectly effective with really hot water. Armine was lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good location. Sea view excellent.
Lovely old building with high ceilings and, of course lots of steps to climb up.
The room is small-ish. Beds very comfy and clean. Decor dated, but the price would be much higher if it was boutique.

Nice hotel, but check nearby parking before you go

Hotel was oopposite the sea front. Room was clean and comfortable, I dont think there was a restaurant inthe hotem but there were places nearby to get food. Parking is very expensive around the hotel and there is no free parking unless you are prepared to walk a long way. The cheapest parking is near the hotel, an underground car park that charges £8 for 24 hours, this was the cheapest I could find near the hotel, otherwise it is more expensive than London

Basic comfort and great service

I had a single room with large areas of damp near the window. The accommodation was cheap and comfortable, clean. I had problems with noise from neighbours on the first night. It’s reasonable for the price and I was there for just two nights.

Very private

I was surprised that there was no lounge or dining room just a bedroom. The concierge was very nice and there was a fridge in my room which I used for milk for tea. The bath was very slow to fill up. I didn’t use the tap shower because there was no shower curtain.

Great location, and friendly service from the team at the hotel. Unfortunately the shower was handheld and had barely any power which was a shame. Beautiful sea view from our room, as well.

Lovely hotel, great location/views

Great little hotel with fantastic sea views. Clean and comfortable stay. Some minor marks on the wall which could do with a lick of paint but that’s just if you want to be fussy. Tea/coffee provided, great wifi. Stairs up to the room so would not recommend if you have mobility issues! Lady on the front desk was very pleasant. Would definitely stay again!

First impression wasn’t great but it was clean and comfortable with reasonable beds. The shower was ridiculous as a hand held in a bath, low water pressure and no shower curtains to stop water splashing everywhere.

Nice room but nowhere to wash!

Overall room 4 was good, BUT the bathroom just had a bath and no shower & it was freezing cold with no heater, plus the hot tap would have taken ages to fill the bath. So it was impossible to wash properly.

Friendly service, fair price, good location

Great service, responded very quickly to queries and the staff seemed friendly. Slightly dated decore but the room was bright and clean except for one used tissue on floor. Only slight issue on our trip was with the bathroom facilities. There was no hot water so we were told we could use the shower in another room but this had the same issue. Would reccomend as a fair priced and well located hotel. Helpful guest book in room explaining about parking, hotel rules and recommended local restaurants.

My room overlooked the beach which was great but I'll-fitting balcony doors allowed a draft in (the full force of Storm Freya!) and the central heating wasn't working (although they had supplied an electric heater), The decor was dated as was the shower room, although it was fairly clean. The Reception wasn't manned which meant I didn't feel that secure, especially when a very noisy group of people kept me awake all night till 6 am.

Ideal location reasonably priced

Friendly reception. Room spacious and very clean. Shower wasn’t brilliant but only there one night. No lift so wouldn’t recommend if you have trouble climbing stairs. Convenient for beach, shops and walking distance from station.

Clean and comfortable little hotel

Small, clean and cosy room with a seaview. Nice and warm on arrival, as it was a cold day! Friendly and helpful staff. Ideal location for shops and eating places. On street parking outside the hotel, also a nearby underground car park. I would definitely stay here again!

A quick check in. Lovely family. Basic room but clean and tidy. Views over the beach front. Parking directly outside. Close to restaurants and food. Lots of stairs to room ....thank goodness we packed light!!! Definitely recommend this to all :)

All ok.

I had three nights stay here and it was good value, very helpful staff having left my keys in work, there was no problem. Could do with a little maintenance on the main entrance doors with a good hallway decor. I Will go back again when working in Hastings.

A great little hotel - only bed no breakfast but that didn't detract as plenty of cafes nearby. Our room was on the top floor with its own private balcony and only seagulls as neighbours which we loved depite the 70 odd steps to get there (no lift). Friendly and helpful owner and we had a very enjoyable 2 night stay with a very comfortable bed.

Great Location, we stayed on a top floor it was nice and clean. Amazing sea view... nice place to stay for couple of nights..
Lady offered us two options for the room either first floor or top floor we choose top one..

Staff helpful, found free parking on the street in about 5 mins walking distance.

Easy check in and out. Definitely Recommend..

I booked a single room for a leisure trip. The hotel is small and functional, the room being simple but sufficient for needs. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. Location is ideally placed for both the new and old town.

Wonderful hotel to stay

right opposite the beach, so very central to new Hastings and old Hastings. The rooms are clean and everything you need for a comfortable stay. the staff there are very friendly. I could not fault this hotel at all. will stay again for sure.

Stayed at the Lindum for one night on a Friday. Staff were very informative, friendly and welcoming. Check in was efficient and easy. Room looked into Robertson Street which made it noisy during the night which can't be helped on a Friday, but it was the last room available so would book a sea view in advance next time instead. The room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Excellent central location too. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely Little Lindum

Check was super easy. The receptionist was absolutely lovely and we were able to choose which room we liked. The place was an easy stroll into the old town. The beach was right next to the hotel and we enjoyed walking along it. The room was a good size and our bed was so comfortable. Best sleep in a long time!
Thank you for having us. We would stay again should we be in Hastings again.

Close to everything and the sea view was lovely

Hotel was near to everything, beach, pubs, cafes and amusements.
A little over priced, it didn't include breakfast.
I think hotel tries hard.

The TV didn't work properly in my room sometimes it got reception sometimes it didn't. Shower a little tricky to get right no shower curtain so more of a bath really.
