AHastings in Feb is anything but glamorous, but...the B&B was warm, welcoming and gloriously friendly. The best was big and comfy and twh breakfast was ample, well cooked and hearty.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 days and have zero faults!
The entire place was incredibly clean and the beds were SO comfortable. On top of that, Tracey was lovely! The breakfasts were all expertly made (I made my way through a couple of them) and the entire stay had a homely feel that didn’t feel overpowering.
The room had amenities most hotels don’t provide, including Prime, Disney, Netflix and NowTV logged in on the tv.
The venue is bang in the middle of old town and literally a stones throw from the beach.

Stairs were a challenge, especially to one who has dodgy knees! Also, parking is an issue, although there is a dropping off zone. In all, a lovely stay and would return when next in Hastings.

No free parking or parking allowed anywhere in old town, had to use pay parking a 10 min walk away, which we were not aware of when booking.

The Old Town Guess House is a Fabulous place to stay.
As the name suggests its in Hastings Old Town.
We had a sea view ensuite room on the top floor which was absolutely lovely.

We stayed in Room 7, which has amazing views of the Beach & Funfair.
Note, approx 56 steps up to the 3rd floor, so not suitable if you have mobile issues. As it isn't directly on the busy main road, traffic noise was minimal.
Situated on the corner of George Street and Old Town, ideal for restaurants and pubs.
Breakfasts were brilliant and Tracey made us feel very welcome.
The pay per stay carparks (£9 for 24hrs) are about 7 minutes walk away, but get there early to ensure of a space.

The weather could have been kinder, but we know Hastings well and good places to go for shelter when needed. We stayed at 'The Old Town Guest House; and apart from the stair climbing, you would find it hard to beat. 'Tracey' could not have been more helpful and the served breakfast was delicious. Our room was spotless with an en suite bathroom and shower. Thank you Tracey for making our little break, so nice.

This is an excellent place to stay in Hastings. It is very handy for the historic old town and the sea front. The breakfast choice is varied and impressive ranging from the full English to porridge to locally fished kippers. The host certainly makes everyone feel welcome. The rooms are spacious and well presented. The hotel is also very clean.

Great B&B, really comfortable and cosy. Well situated in the old town part of Hastings so near all the restaurants, cafes and bars. Tracey, the owner of the B&B, couldn't be more helpful. She went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was included also, which was nicely cooked with plenty of choice. Definitely would stay here again and thoroughly recommend.

The location is near the seaside and in the midst of the old historic downtown. Fish & Chips restaurants are nearby as well as coffee shops. Great overall location. The Guest House was extremely clean and quiet at night. Wi-fi service was good and the breakfast was large and delicious. Would highly recommend it.

5 star guesthouse in Old Town
We were a little taken aback with exterior appearance when we first arrived, but the inside is definitely a lot better. We had the ensuite double bedroom at the top floor with sea view, and the room is very spacious & comfortable. There was also a small children bed as a spare. Being on the top floor, the ceiling height was a little low, so anyone over 6 feet may find it too low but we find it rather cosy.
The room furnishing were quite new with a large bath with shower partitioned off from the main bedroom (no door) but its very private. Initially we had the window open & the noise from the fair ground opposite was a little too loud, but when you close the window, the double glazing cut out all external noise & we had very peaceful night sleeps. Although be prepared for 5am dawn chorus of seagulls when the fishing boats return with the catch; but this is the charm of staying near the seafront next to working fishing harbour.

You are spoil for choice when it comes to thing to do. Jerwood Gallery is right opposite & there's two large public car parking to choose from for your car.

Warm welcome, nice breakfast, big noise along the street on Sunday but shutting double windows largely reduced it. Monday night was much more quiet,slept two nights well. Beware the pull switch of the shower hanging hind side of the bathroom door.

Tracey can accommodate vegan/vegetarian diets Just as a small note - the stairs are a little 'challenging' up to the top of the house - but only for someone with mobility issues. Fab Room With A View...and Great Hospitality
We had a wonderful two-night stay here midweek. The property although old is full of character and we had a sea view from our top floor room. The hostess, Tracey, was friendly and helpful, keeping just the right profile, and had thought of every need for guests. Really lovely breakfast, from a great selection on offer. Comfortable bed with beautifully clean and fresh bedding! We would definitely stay here again if we return to Hastings, and would recommend without hesitation.

Stayed here for a short break. Good location in the Old Town. We had room no 7, at the top of the building, with great views of the beach. Particularly appreciated the warm and friendly welcome from Tracey, the B&B manager, made it a memorable stay.

Sad to say that the room was far to small for us, the bed to small and we felt very cramped. Breakfast was lovely but found that if we didn’t check the blackboard to see if our order was still on it, breakfast was not registered as us wanting one, we had the same breakfast everyday but it was rubbed off on the last day and the owner didn’t realise we wanted it even though it was not wiped off by us.

Stayed at this lovely house for 2 nights. The house had a lovely homely feel to it. The bedding and towels were lovely! White, fluffy, clean and smelt beautiful! We could control the heating in our room which was great. The landlady Tracey is a lovely friendly lady who can’t do enough for you. She clearly works exceptionally hard to make this B and B as nice as it is. The breakfast was well cooked and set us up for the day. We will certainly visit this B and B again and would recommend to others. It was great value for money! And felt like home!

This rather higgledy-piggledy guesthouse in the heart of the old town and close to the seafront was ideal for our stay. However, the stairs were very steep and you would need to be fit to cope with them. The room was clean and comfortable but there was no door on the ensuite bathroom and toilet. Breakfast was very good, well presented and tasty with a good range of choices available.

Quaint little guest house near the sea front
Lovely little guest house right off George street where many of the restaurants are located. Rooms are clean and tidy (I have a 4/5 as the rooms could perhaps do with a lick of paint), but it's an old style guest house so for me it's what I expected. Owner is lovely and accommodating, even cooking breakfast (very nice full English) earlier at my request. Overall, great little guest house in an ideal location, with a very welcome owner. If you're looking for a no frills place to stay, I'd recommend this place...

In the heart of the old town of Hastings
Really enjoyed my stay here. Tracey was welcoming and cooked a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day. You won't get quite as you are near to the fishing fleet and bars cafes but at the same time has a buzz about the place. Has lovely little shops too

We had the room with the sea view (if you go there for June-July you get to see a live seagull nest on the roof opposite the window, best way to start your day!). We enjoyed our stay in Hastings. The guest house was very central to the old part of town, but parking is not real close. The breakfast was lovely and the sea view room was nice. Beware of the stairs! We were very welcomed and well cared for.
