Room was a reasonable size. Enjoyed the ofuro, especially the outdoor bath. Appreciated the laundry facilities. Only downside was that it didn’t really dry the clothes. But hung them in the room and they dried OK. Conveniently close to several train stations.

I had a great stay! The location is perfect—just a short, easy walk from Kobe Sannomiya Station, with another train station right across the street for easy access to Osaka. The hotel was very clean, and the service was excellent. Everything was convenient and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Kobe or planning day trips to nearby cities!

This was a great centralized location for our trip to Kobe. Easy to find and walkable from all directions. The hotel itself had many options including public onsen, laundry, and breakfast which was nice. Staff was helpful in storing our luggage on the last day which allowed us to explore more. The room itself was small, and the bathrooms felt like we were on a cruise. Small and cramped, but had what you needed. We didn’t stay very long in our rooms due to the size but it was manageable for the two days we were there. Overall nice experience

This hotel is handy for chinatown and is walking distance to the harbour area and sannomiya station. Motomachi station is about a 3 minute walk away. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of dishes and the bed was comfortable. Even for a Japanese hotel, the room was very cramped for 2 people travelling with carry-on sized suitcases. As for the onsen - if you have tattoos you can only bathe between 11pm and 3am, which I honestly found quite insulting.

hotel is ok but be careful with public bath

The location is good, and the room is big in Japanese standard. There were a sofa like futon in our room which we could actually sit on. However I have to say that the public bath seems to have a lot of chlorine in it. It is best to rinse off thoroughly after using it; otherwise your skin may get irritated just like mine. The pajama they provided are made of a lot of polyesters. It was not as comfortable as pajama provided by other hotels. Moreover, each guest were given a time slot to eat breakfast. I think it is 45 min each slot(?) Not that there is a lot of food for us to eat which took up the entire 45 min, but it was a feeling of time limit that made us cannot relax. Breakfast food was just ok. One last thing I need to mention is that the hotel's shampoo/conditioner/soap smells like either peppermint or rosemary which I am not a big fan of. For those who does not like those smell, it is best to bring your own soap and shampoo.

This is in the bustling area of Sannomiya and a quick 5 minute walk to the train station. Super convenient, clean, and affordable. I saw both local and international tourists during our stay. All the staff were great!

I liked the washer and dryer and breakfast buffet.

My only feedback would be to leave the free toothbrushes and pjs in the lobby for people to pick up if they need it - I felt bad they kept replenishing our supply of both in our rooms.

I will stay here again and would recommend this hotel.

Approaching the China town with so many different kinds of restaurants such as Canton + Hong Kong Dim Sum & Yam Cha, Shanghai, Szechuan and Peking. The sound isolation is not good at all.

Property mentions front desk as 24 hrs, but does not have possibility to open doors after 12AM. I had arrived after 12AM , there was no bell or intercom, had to call the hotel. struggled to get the message across to the opertor to activate the doors as she could not understand english. She initially asked me to call back later in the morning. When i reached the front desk i got the impression front desk personnel had been sleeping and probably i had woken her up. Service attitude was really poor, just running through the motion .

The Hotel is very conveniently located. Clean and well appointed. The only reason we can't give a full 5 rating is the time wasted waiting for lifts. It was a busy time but there were long waits for the lift to or from reception (on the 13th floor), to and from our room and to the entry on ground level.

Excellent (very convenient) location close to Sannomiya Station, convenience stores, restaurants, and plenty of fabulous shopping including Daimaru Department Store.

Staff do not speak much English but this is understandable, given the hotel’s main customer base is the domestic Japanese market. They do try very hard to assist, however, and were all very pleasant to deal with.

I would note that the reception (located on the 13th floor) is quite small and not overly impressive. The Queen Room I had on the 8th floor was certainly compact but well designed and sparkling clean.

I would recommend the Candeo Torroad Hotel to family and friends and hope to stay there again myself on my next visit to Kobe.

Right in the heart of Kobe and close to everything! Beautiful rooms small but cozy and well designed. The rooftop bath was excellent which we used almost every day. Hotel staff was very attentive and helpful. There was a coin laundry next the the rooftop bath place but because there were only two machines, it was difficult to find vacancies in the evening. If you love shopping in Japan, this is the place! Daimaru, Uniqlo, Daiso, Bookstore, and all kinds of restaurants are just there! Three convenience store within 15min walk nearby. Highly recommend.

LOVED the service, cleanliness, bed/sheets very comfortable, spa upstairs is clean and spacious, location bar none is SUPERB. Hubby and I travel extremely light (we each had a backpack) and the room was cramped with our backpacks. It would be a challenge with suitcases. No view, however we don't really care about views because we are out exploring from sunup to sundown. Everything is meticulous and clean. Staff are super accomodating and you can borrow a convertor if you need an extra one. Price was excellent also. Would stay again with family and friends, hands down. HIGHLY recommend.

早く到着しましたがチェックインさせて
頂き助かりました！でも部屋が狭く窓の外は壁
追加料金払って広い角部屋に変更して頂きました
部屋は清潔、電車の音が気になってしまったけど
三宮から徒歩10分くらい元町からはすぐです！
立地は最高に良いと思います。
朝食は最上階で明るく見晴らしも良くて
お料理内容も変わり良かったと思います。
1番良かったのは、フロントの外国人男性の対応
迅速丁寧で素晴らしいです。
脱衣スペースも私達が利用した時間は毎日清掃が
入っていましたし、クイックルワイパーが置いてあり髪の毛等気になったら自分で掃除できるので
とても良かったです！
残念な点１つ、洗面台にある歯ブラシホルダーの中がかなり汚れていますので確認されると良いと思います、、
やっぱり大浴場のあるホテルは疲れて戻った時に最高だと思いました。

飯店位置很棒，元町出來不到3分鍾就到，離三宮站也差不多5-8分鐘路程，逛街跟交通都超級方便。服務人員跟清潔都很好。早上選擇多，有分流可以讓人吃得很愉快跟飽足感。
客房空間以商務飯店來看算大，可打開25吋跟19吋各一個，窗邊有一排的座椅很棒，可以吃東西聊天，缺點是床太軟、冷氣聲很大且燈會房燈關閉後會特別刺眼影響睡覺。
當初選此飯店是因爲有大眾浴池，環境清潔做得不錯，但空間真的很小，尤其是換衣跟清潔區，大約8個人就非常擁擠。整體而言，如果相對價格沒特別高，以後去神戶，它還是會是優先選擇之一。
