The hotel is directly connected with the Kobe subway so it is EXTREMELY CONVENIENT. Perfect for late night activities and solo travelers/duo travelers (pack light).

I had to take a 4:40 am shuttle to Kansai Airport. since the trains were not running i had to book a hotel by the bus station. Apa has always been my pick nice clean and affordable hotels in Japan. This one was right by the Ikuta Jinja. it was quite busy because it was New Year’s day so everyone was going to the Temple to pray for good fortune and health for 2025. it was still very quite and i got nice time lapse of people visiting the temple from one of the windows.
Location is great because you are surrounded by restaurants, shops, pubs/bars of Sannomiya.

併設のレストランで朝食をとれますが、早い時間に行かないと、まともな食事が取れません。ラストオーダーが9:30と聞いて、9時に行きましたが、サラダドレッシングはほぼ空で、添えてあるスプーンで救える量でなく、僅かな量を容器を逆さにしてサラダにかけました。スタッフの方は見ても補充する事なく、他の料理もまだ客が来るというものではありません。2日目は7:30に入ったので大丈夫？でした。他のアパホテルの朝食は良かったので残念でした。ランチやディナーは同じレストラン（狭い）でTVで紹介された、と入口に書いてありましたが、朝食は正直お勧めできません。

ただ、ベッドの下に荷物が置けるのは良いが、背が低い私は登る感じで使いにくかったです(苦笑）。

自宅が断水のため、急遽宿泊しましたが大変清潔で隅々まで行き届いたホテルでした。国内外のホテルをいくつも宿泊してきましたが、このホテルはリーズナブルでとても居心地が良かったです。BBCを見ることができるのも嬉しいです。コンパクトながら必要最低限のブラシや綿棒を含むアメニティーがあり（高級ホテルでもエシカル的な意味でアメニティーが不十分な所があり、あれはとても不便）、スーツケースをベッドの下に仕舞える工夫等も素晴らしい！ただ、明け方に近隣の方のいびきが聞こえてきたので壁が少し薄いのかな？と思いました。それでもアパの中でも屈指の快適性です。神戸の市営地下鉄駅から30秒程の近さにも関わらず、野外の騒音は聞こえませんでした。現在コーヒーセットと使い捨てスリッパの支給が無いそうなので、滞在される方はご注意ください。

分かった上で利用するにはコスパ良し
繁華街に近くてコンビニや食事に困らないですが、一本中に入っているのでとても静かです。初めから分かっていたことではありますが、やはり部屋は狭いので、少し荷物を持っての利用には向かないです。浴槽も足を伸ばせないのでゆっくりとするには向きません。一泊の利用で寝るだけであれば、ロケーションもコスパも文句無し。
