What a real joy. The service is wonderful. The place is impeccable and so are the rooms. The pool and bar area is perfect. The music is just at the right level. Loud enough to enjoy but you can still hold a conversation. The breakfast was perfect. They even brought it once to me at the beach. It feels like old times vibes. Not so complicated. Can wait to go back.

Staff were wonderful. Property was beautiful. My only thing is the sliding glass doors need some oil. People above me kept going in an out all night on their balcony and it sounded like they were moving furniture. Also maybe a sign posted like some hotels have that quiet hours are after 10 pm. After doing water sports and being out in the sun all day, Last thing I wanted was to be kept up by rude guests. Not the hotels fault but maybe a sign would help. It was a wonderful place!

I chose this hotel based on the reviews, and I wouldn’t consider myself a very picky traveler—as long as I get what I pay for. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met here.
The food and drinks are good once you finally receive them, but the wait times can be very long. The rooms themselves are fine, however they need to be kept extremely cold or the ceiling starts to sweat. I understand this is a tropical climate, but it’s uncomfortable having my kids come in from the pool into an ice-cold room.
On our second day, we noticed a significant number of ants in the room. We didn’t bring any food inside, so I’m not sure where they came from—they seemed to be concentrated around a power cord.
The service is polite, but not particularly warm or attentive. Staff do their jobs, but it lacks the friendliness and hospitality you might experience on other islands or on a cruise.
The surrounding area is nice, with many cute places to eat nearby, and it definitely offers a quieter, more relaxed vibe compared to San Juan. There is limited amount of things to do for kids: beach, pool,ping pong table, swings. No gym or sport courts.
It was ok for our 5 day stay but on the last day the kids were bored.

The trip from beginning to end was absolutely perfect. Check in was quick, and we had a poolside room. Walking right out to the pool was exactly what we wanted and the kiddos loved. The swim up bar added to the pool enjoyment. The food at the restaurant was prepared very quickly each time we ordered whether for sit down or to-go. We loved our 2nd stay there just as much and cannot wait to be back!

Loved staying here, it was exactly what we were looking for. No frills, just great beach and pool time. Parking was easy, and we were able to walk into Rincon Plaza (about 18 minutes). There’s also a really cute coffee spot right across the street. We didn’t eat on the property, but it looked like they offer basic pub-style food (burgers, fries, etc.). The only small note is that we could hear some footsteps from above, nothing too disruptive, but worth mentioning for light sleepers. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

We spent two nights at the hotel and had a bit of a “two very different stays in one trip” experience.

Our first room (#210) had a serious humidity situation—the kind where everything feels a little… tropical indoors (think damp floors and walls, and that sticky feeling that never quite goes away). There was also a persistent dripping noise at night that made it hard to sleep. The room could definitely use some TLC, with signs of wear like rusty doors, some mold in the A/C and bathroom, and aging grout/caulking. The room phone also wasn’t working, which made it tricky to reach the front desk.

The good news: when we mentioned it the next morning, the team was very responsive. Carlos in particular was great—he listened, understood immediately, and moved us to a new room on the third floor.

The second room was a big improvement—no humidity issues and a beautiful view of the ocean and pool. That said, it still showed some general wear (similar maintenance items as the first room), so it seems like upkeep is something the property needs.

Common areas could also benefit from a good refresh (a power wash would go a long way).

As for the staff, most were genuinely warm and welcoming, which we really appreciated. Carlos stood out for his professionalism and quick help. We did have a less pleasant interaction on the last day.

Overall, this feels like a bit of a hit-or-miss property depending on the room you get.

Room smelled like mildew and mold. And the floors were dirty . They did try to correct the problem and give us a different room but that room s floor was still just as dirty . In the new room they sprayed a disinfectant spray to mask the smell . I checked in and checked out the same day . Within 3 hours..Most of that time was trying to find an uber or lyft

Nice pool - felt warm, cheerful pool bar staff. A little rowdy but fun. The walk to town is easily doable. Uber was reluctant to come to the hotel though. Really comfortable beds and nice shower. Parking was very easy. Huge, gated lot. Only complaint is there were brief power cuts 2-3 times a day. They lasted seconds but they made everything reset!

Biggest issue we had was housekeeping staff stole one of our EarPods they swapped it out for one that was working, which was ours and left their broken one inside the case. We did not discover this till we were back in the US. We tried to rectify this problem with the establishment. There was no one that would help us the head of housekeeping was not responding to me to handle this situation .We only had our room clean three times. We are sure that the housekeeper took it on the day Sunday. We were leaving off the property Monday.. There was no resolution from the hotel establishment management or head of housekeeping.. also the website is deceiving. They have one restaurant that is open only for breakfast. Everything else comes from the bar which closes on Friday nights Saturdays at 10 PM. So if you want anything to eat, you have to go off the property absolutely no nightlife., they have no coffee in their main reception area. They give you two small little pucks each day with two small bottles of water for coffee. We would never visit Puerto Rico again and we would never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

The hotel booked a corporate party with loud karaoke that lasted until 10pm on the lawn right outside about 20 guest rooms. There was zero warning or concession for unsuspecting guests who booked beach studios to have a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The host of the corporate party said he was told that he had all of the rooms in the hotel rented.

There was also no room service, pool service, or beach service at this “resort” and the floor of the room was filthy. I will be back to Rincón, but will certainly not stay at this hotel.

Beautiful rooms. Very close to various restaurants and supermarkets. Kind security at the front entrance. Lots of parking. Beautiful view. Room service was excellent and kindly skipped our room when asked to. Pool was excellent and not overcrowded. The beach was also not overcrowded. Seating and beach chairs was kind of first come first serve and they did run out of chairs now and then but it was no problem. You bring a room card to the pool bar and they just run a tab under your credit card you used for the hotel and they don’t completely charge it until the end of the stay which I thought was nice.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was super clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, parking was easy and convenient, and the food was amazing.

The only downside was that there were not enough pool chairs and shaded areas available.

Overall, a great experience and we would definitely return!
