Horrible hotel ! Beach staff are so nasty dont sta

We had horrible stay and most of all the Greek guy at the beach who gives Y daily towels was so nasty and made our mornings so unpleasant! Each day of our stay we had issues with towels on top of all we had our belongings stolen from the beach! Don't waste u money go elsewhere!
Rooms are small and okey but bathrooms are beyond ! No way near 4 star at all.
Food is beyond poor ! Better to go to the center and eat there!

The place is very nice and relaxing. The problem was the small bathroom with a very small bathtube, the water was extremely hot! The stairs to the restaurant and to the beach was too many. The food was tasty but finished very quickly.

Pretty disappointing

The hotel looked nicer in the pictures than in person. They need to clean up the reception area and welcome guests in a friendly way. I thought that the wifi instructions would be in the room, but they were not. We called reception who said there was no wifi. I walked to reception to see if he could help me notify my son that we had arrived safely and he gave me the reception area wifi password. Of course it only worked right there, not in my room. That was a real letdown, and not what they advertised online. The positive thing was that the room and bed were clean. Don't bother to bring a curling iron-- there is one outlet in bathroom that is only for men's low watt shavers. You have to turn the breaker on for hot water and keep the key in a box for electricity. The beach was dirty and no one served drinks or anything. I would think they would want to take advantage to make some money and provide guests with that service. There were no beach chairs left for us to sit in and they don't offer any towels. Bring your own. There is no coffee available to buy until 8am and no coffee maker in the room. I would say if you are just looking for a place to sleep it is ok, but don't expect much else. I won't be going back there. Oh, I almost forgot we asked for one double bed, but got two singles. And one more thing--- the turn into the hotel from the highway is DANGEROUS. They need to do something about that. Somebody is going to get hurt if they haven't alread

Sensational location.

We stayed for one night only. We had to ask to change to a different bungalow because the patio door was broken. The reception staff had limited English, but were very helpful and polite at all times. The bungalow allocated to us in the end was comfortable internally with a great terrace providing magnificent views of Tosca Bay. The hotel complex covers the whole of the small bay and the private beach is justifiably the main selling point.
We tried the buffet dinner at 13 Euro and found it to be of good value, but were slightly disappointed by the variety on offer at breakfast.

This is a nice resort several kilometers from town. The room was clean and had a decent view of the sea, but spartan in its decor. All of the staff were accommodating and provided us with dinner even though we were late. My only real complaint was the almost non-existent internet in the room which was too slow to even check mail.

Although this hotel comes up as a four star hotel, it has many shortcomings.Trees are not trimmed back, thus obstructing sea view.Bathroom lacks any kind of hooks to hang towels up, no bar to hold on to while in tub, no possibility to hang shower head.. No space to put toiletries down. Position of safe is very inconvenient and difficult to access.In the evening even more cumbersome to access safe, especially since you have to use the key which is attached to the plate that needs to stay inserted in a particular bracket, in order to get power and be able to see. Not thought through! Walkways should have a bench so elderly guests can rest. Bus stop needs to have a canopy to shelter guests from rain and a bench.

Nice beach poor hotel

The hotel needs renovation,room facilities are poor,our bungalow was far away from the beach.
Too much steps up and down,not suitable if you have knee problems.The beach is very nice, the water is clean,the facilities around the beach are good,beach bar is good,each day fresh food for lunch,the staff is friendly.Overall rating cannot be 4 star hotel,maximum 3 star.

hotel on the beach--great if you like that

the hotel is literally right on the beach. however, even though the bus to the center of town stops right at the driveway, the city center is a 6-kilometer, 12 minute ride away. buses usually run every half hour. there is absolutely nothing around the hotel. the city of philippi from the center of town is about a half- hour away by bus.

Traumhaft gelegenes Hotel abseits vom Touri Rummel

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und hilfsbereitschaft in allen Fragen. Zimmer sind einfach, sollten jedoch mal wieder Renoviert werden. Pool ist in sehr schöner Lage müsste jedoch auch malmwieder ausgebessert werden.

- it's 6 km far from the town center, however, you need a taxi all the times. one can not walk this distance since only the highway connects to the town.10 euros oneway though.everynight, you have to come to town for dinner since food is incredibly poor. then this will cost an amount.

Cosy and relaxing

A very nice and cosy bungalow hotel with a great beach which even has a children's playground. Reminded me of Turkish Marmaris with its great pine-scented air and forests. Although the hotel was built in 1968, renovation and various improvements are done every year, according to the personnel.
We stayed in a family room for 1 night on out way to another destination in Greece. Nice, tidy rooms have great balconies. Personnel is very helpful. A couple of very good child toys we had accidentally left in the room were found after I realized and called the hotel a week later. We picked them up on our way back to Turkey.
My only disappointment was the open buffet dinner, but for those wishing to eat for more than its price of 13 euro there is a tavern within a walking distance from the hotel.

Tosca Beach daha önceki yıllarda da kaldığım bir tesis. Plajı, denizi (kendine özel koyu var)harika. Kahvaltı-yemek salonu ve personelin hizmeti çok iyi. Otopark sorunu yok. Odaların elden geçmesi gerekiyor. Dış kapıların ve balkon kapılarının yenilenmesi gerekiyor. Odaların yenilenmesiyle 4 Yıldızı hak edecek bir tesis. Ailece kalınabilecek güzel bir tesis.

Добрый день! Отдыхали в отеле с 04.08.14 по 11.08.14. Это уже наша вторая поездка в Тоску. Он очень удобен по расположению. Море великолепное, пляж ухоженный и оборудованный. Обслуживающий персонал любезный и внимательный. очень удобно близкое расположение от Кавалы. Уезжали с сожалением и намерением обязательно вернуться. СПАСИБО ЗА ХОРОШИЙ ОТДЫХ!!!!

Hotel mit guter Lage und sehr schlechtem Frühstück

Hotel mit super Lage und Blick auf das Meer. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Betten waren bequem. Leider kann man das Frühstück nicht empfehlen, da es sehr, sehr dürftig und von minderer Quallität war. Das Lunchpacket, welches wir am Abreisetag bekommen haben, war deutlich besser, was eigentlich traurig ist. Die Frühstückszeiten sind von 8:00-10:00 und für Frühaufsteher ungünstig gelegt. Ich kann nur jedem empfehlen das Hotel ohne Fruhstück zu buchen.

Отличное расположение на возвышенности среди еловых пород, из номера прекрасный вид на море и остров Тасос, прекрасный пляж. Номера отеля чистые, но с четырьмя звёздами далеко не соответствуют, с балкона который выходит на море можно наслаждаться красотой природы. Качество обслуживание нормальное, администратор рецепшена старается помочь каждому клиенту отеля как может.

Magnifique baie et plage, eau crystaline. Parasols et chaises gratuites pour tous. Bon bar-resto près de la plage, bon menu traditionnel. Les bungalows de la troisième rangée ne sont pas recommandables pour les gens d'un certain âge ou pour les familles avec très jeunes enfants, puisque non accessibles en auto et plus d'une centaine de marches escarpées à descendre et à monter pour aller à la plage. Les chambres sont très propres, le mobilier est réduit au minimum nécessaire. L'agencement est neuf, sauf les télés, petites et sans choix de programmes... Mais on n'est pas là pour la télé, n'est-ce pas? Belles terrasses donant sur la mer. Plusieurs petits restos pas chers, proposant une cuisine dominée par le poison et les fruits de mer, se trouvent dans un rayon de 5 minutes en auto.

Zimmer sauber, Frühstück gut. WLAN noch im Aufbau und nur teilw. verfügbar. In der Vorsaison fast leer, Außenanlage und Strand waren nicht gepflegt.
Am Strand war man fast immer allein, super klares Wasser, genial gelegen.

Das Hotel hat eine eigene Bucht und ist herrlich zum entspannen und abschalten. Allerdings ist alles sehr einfach gehalten, sprich nur Bungalows und ein Restaurant, welches etwa (den ganzen Tag durch) 4 Std. offen ist.
Umgebung/Natur wunderschön, doch nichts zu unternehmen (ausser schwimmen).

Cet hôtel , construit dans les années 60, est situé sur un très beau site. Les chambres sont propres, et le mobilier, a été récemment renouvelé. Seul le stock de pain rassis qui nous a été servi au petit déjeuner semblait dater de la construction de l’hôtel. Ce désagrément mis à part, nous avons passé un bon séjour.

Das Hotel liegt in einer eigenen Bucht, somit brauch man ein Auto oder Bus

Da ich aus diese Region Griechenlands stamme kenn ich dieses Hotel schon sehr lange. Nun war ich dort auch mal als Gast und musste leider feststellen, das es nicht das war was ich in Erinnerung hatte bzw. was ich erwartet hatte.
Das Zimmer war in Ordnung und auch recht sauber, der Balkon war dafür garnicht ansprechend (Stühle defekt und dreckig).
Die Rezeption scheint neu renoviert zu sein und sieht super aus, so wie auch der Frühstcksraum, der wunderschön aber leider ziemlich dreckig war.
Das/die Bistro, Bar, Taverne die zum Hotel gehören, sind vom Preis her sehr human.. allerding sollte man wissen, das man ab 20 h nichts mehr bekommt. Was mich sehr schockiert hat, da man gerade in Griechenland meistens nicht, vor 20 h zu abend isst. Da es auch keinen kleinen Supermarkt oder Shop gibt, ist das nicht all zu praktisch. Sobald man das weiß, kann aber den kleinen Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer füllen. Problem ist das man, wenn man Essen gehen möchte oder ähnliches auf Auto, Bus oder Taxi angewiesen ist. In Kavala, Palio oder weiter N.Iraklitsa und Peramos gibt es die schönsten und feinstens Tavernen inkl. traumhaft schöne Strände.

Das Hotel ist für diesen Preis eher enttäuschent.. ausser man möchste 24 Std am Stand sitzen... dann ist das perfekt.

Hotel Tosca Beach Kavala - GR

Hotel was located in a very nice area , with trees and with a beautiful sandy beach. Nice Breakfast , Friendly staff, spacious rooms but there is a need for renovation in bungalows (i think this is in progress).
Also parking space available free of charge exactly outside your bungalows. Near to Kavala city , about 7 kilometers.

Härlig omgivning enkelt och funktionsdugligt

Härlig omgivning med lung och fin miljö. Hotellrummen var enkla och funktionsdugliga inget speciellt skulle vilja kalla det vandrarhemsstandard. Helt OK priset dock lite högt för rum och frukost men det är väl omgivningen mam betalar för!?
