Nestled in the Columbia Valley between the Rocky and Purcell Mountain ranges in British Columbia, Bighorn Meadows Resort is situated on an expansive 9-acre site surrounded on three sides by the prestigious Springs Golf Course in the village of Radium Hot Springs. Our vacation rentals are the perfect alternative to a hotel.

The Guest Rooms offer an open-concept feel, perfect for up to 2-people. The 1, 2, & 3 bedroom suites are all fully-equipped so you feel at home – enjoy a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, spacious living areas, BBQ on the balcony or patio, washer/dryer, and private bedrooms.

Please note, this Resort does not have a 24-hour front desk, all guests must contact the resort directly to find out after-hours check-in instructions if planning to arrive after 6pm MST.


Located in Radium Hot Springs, Bighorn Meadows Resort is in the mountains, a 4-minute drive from Kootenay National Park and 7 minutes from Radium Resort - The Springs Course. This family-friendly aparthotel is 2.7 mi (4.3 km) from Radium Hot Springs Pools and 8.9 mi (14.3 km) from Copper Point Golf Course.

We've stayed at this resort a number of times over the years in different rooms. We booked last minute, so we got what was available for our group size. We were put in the Block 100 building for the first time; the oldest building on the resort. We had enough room for all of us but the age of the rooms is showing and this was my least enjoyable stay. We found the mattress and pillows uncomfortable, it's a bit of a hike up to get into the bed and we're tallish. The dishes didn't come out of the dishwasher clean, so we had to check before using. Also more dishes (plates & bowls) would be great. I really appreciated that the frying pans were in great shape!
I would more than gladly stay here again, I'd just double check to see what building we'd be in. ;-) I always love seeing all the wildlife that comes through the property!

The suite was beyond our expectation. The bed was very comfortable, the suite was roomy and had everything we could have asked for. We had a view of the pool, saw plenty of wildlife while we were there. Would stay again, highly recommend to anyone.

Staff was friendly. Resort was clean for the most part, however our room was a in a bit of rough shape (missing curtains in the main area). It was very hot in the afternoons and evenings in one side of our room due to no air conditioning near there and a room with direct sun - but that was not a huge deal. Overall still a great experience.

We did not use the pool or hot tub as it did not look available at this time of year, but we really did not ask. We found our room to be in a location where the couple above us were quite noisy every morning at 7:00am They were constantly dragging the kitchen bar stools around the ceramic tile flooring morning and evening causing screaching noise from the stool legs. Overall, I would stay here again. We stayed in the 100 block, which doesn’t quite match the photos but was still a very well-appointed, clean and spacious suite. The patio opened directly onto the golf course area, making it a great spot to enjoy dinner or morning coffee outside.

We prepared all of our meals in the suite, and aside from bringing our own food and condiments, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed.

The only downside was that the bedroom lacked blackout curtains and faced the outside hallway, where bright spotlights stayed on until 1 a.m.

Despite that, the overall experience was very good!

Stayed two nights in a bachelor suite. The room was spotlessly clean and new. Towels, bedsheets, carpet all clean. There was a small kitchen with a small fridge, microwave and some utensils, glasses and plates. Complex was very quiet when we were there. The grounds are very highly managed and are well maintained. Beautiful spot. It’s close to everything and a short drive gets you to the surrounding golf courses, hot pools in Radium and Fairmount, and many restaurants and pubs. Located beside the golf course.
I would definitely splurge on a one bedroom with balcony next time. There is a pool and two hot tubs on the property also. Would highly recommend this resort summer and winter.
The few negatives were the fridge doesn’t work well and will not freeze ice, the bed was newer but I found it to be very hard, and the security chain on the door was broken. The resort also takes $100 on a credit card as a damage deposit that hasn’t been returned yet.

Only recommendation would be to have a body wash/shampoo dispenser in the tub area as the tiny container of each didn’t last. This was our second visit and we plan to go again next year.

Upon arrival we unfortunately found dirty towels behind the bathroom door and other peoples clothes in the closet. The dishes in the kitchenette were also dusty which made me think the dishes aren’t being cleaned/switched out between guests.

The out door pool even though heated is stull pretty cold for toddlers specially.
Also keep in mind there is no elevator if you stay on 2nd or 3rd floor.
The pull out couch is not very comfortable which is expected.

This was a quaint little town and the property was nice, clean, and accessible. I loved everything except the distance from the National Parks.

It is quite the drive from Banff (at least 90 minutes) or anywhere else. Next time we visit, I will be looking for closer accommodations.

We were under the impression that we would have an elevator as one of us has trouble walking up and down stairs.

Again they made us believe that deck repairs would not affect us yet we were locked in on our last day.

This was our second stay—our first experience was excellent! However, this time we booked a ‘townhouse’ room but were given a third-floor condo unit instead, with no prior communication or clarification at check-in. It was a big deal for the kids… No compensation was offered until we inquired. Additionally, there was a noisy party next door on our second night, which affected our overall experience. We love radium and will try again and see how the third experience goes.

We've stayed here before and love the area. Bighorn Meadows are aptly named, the bighorns were everywhere!
Have food allergies in the family we enjoyed the kitchen and all it had on hand and even used the b-b-q.
The only issue we had and did mention before we left was that the suite has been pretty nicked up from previous guests so it was starting to look shabby. And that one of the bed sizes was mislabeled as a queen bed. I love my husband but, phew, a full sized mattress is a very tight fit for a comfortable sleep, lol.

Poor management with room inspection, the heater was broken and they don’t know about it. Wasted our time and our gas going back and forth from our room to the reception because they got no help!!!!
It turns to my problem to keep going back and forth for different room. We had to change 3 rooms!
I don’t recommend this place because of the people who run it!

Asking for damage deposit that the facility or room already damaged in some areas. We checked/inspected before we settle for the reason that we have to make sure that these damaged which we didn't cause will not be account to us.

Hope they will make some actions on these.
