Note: this is not in town, but so quiet and relaxing and the absolute best hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The included breakfast was basic and yet we never left hungry or unsatisfied. I played a round on the course as well and it also was fantastic. The rooms were more or less silent from your neighbours and the views…. Oh the views. I wish I could attach a picture, we sat out by the really neat fire pits to relax one evening and a baby deer and its mom came right up to the area and hung out for a bit. 100% recommend.

The room as beautiful as were the grounds.Unfortunately our flight was delayed sa I had to call for check-in after hour. The resort was very dark when we arrived and it was difficult to find our room.Once we did, the door code didn't work. I didn't write down the number of the person to call if we had such a problem, but we did find another guest who had the number and was able to get in. It would have helped if th person at the desk had sent me a text with the number rather than just reading it as I didn't have anything to write with.

All the staff was new so it was a bit frustrating ordering food or asking for assistance. We did leave a piece of jewelry there but unfortunately it was not found by the cleaners.

I came to Invermere on a golf trip with 6 other ladies and stayed at the lodge for 3 nights. I can’t say enough about how amazing our stay was here.
Each and everyone of the staff greeted us with a smile every time we came up to the doors of the clubhouse and walked in. Everyone was just wonderful and so accommodating.
The restaurant had amazing food. We ate here every night and tried something different each night. We also had a continental breakfast each morning. The waitpersons were all so lovely.
The course was beautiful. We golfed one evening and the course was in great shape. Enjoyed golfing here.
The lodge only has about 20 rooms so it makes for a very quiet and intimate stay. The rooms were very new and incredibly clean. The beds were so plush and comfortable. They had L’Octtaine products in the bathroom, which was a very nice touch.
They have gas fire pits that you could sit around in the evening to relax and wind down. Each room had a nice big fuzzy blanket to curl up in by those fires too.
We will definitely be coming back!!

Our check in process was not so smooth because the lady that was assisting us seemed to have some issues with the computer. After waiting for a while, she also was confused on if we made the payment (payment was made in full months prior to our trip). We ended up spending an extra 30 minutes (in addition to the longer period of time spent on check in) in our room to try to connect with someone at Hotels.com to clarify the payment situation. It wasn't the best way to start our trip there.

When we got to our room, we noticed the garbage bins were full with garbage from the previous guests. Hairs in the sink and on the towel. Our room that was assigned was behind 5 big bags of laundry so it was fairly awkward to get in and out.

Put the above aside, the location of the property itself is wonderful. The owner clearly cares about the comfort of the guests as the room is very nicely decorated. We will still be back next year but really wish the services will get better.

The room was gorgeous. The bed and pillows were soo comfortable. The deep bathtub was amazing. Views from the deck, coffee with provided creamers and not coffee mate, bottled water - all made the room a lovely guest experience
Cons: not the most welcoming check-in. First hotel I’ve ever been to that wouldn’t accept a 30
Mins early check-in. That’s fine as the rules clearly state 3pm, just unexpecte.
Huge cob web in top right corner of room by bed and the shower head cover came off when showering. Would not stay on. Showered using the hand held.
I would recommend this place and would stay again but it’s not quite a 5 star experience. A check in to make sure everything was okay would be a suggestion

Beautiful property and location, huge space and awesome decor. Surrounding area is breathtaking and while it is tucked away slightly, it is just a few minutes car ride away from many restaurants and stores.

Check-in was smooth and simple.

There are a few small things that were not so good and they add up...

The not so good was lack of a microwave in room, I can't think of the last time I have been to a hotel with no microwave.

It was pitch black at night and all the guests that I saw needed to turn on their phone lights in order to navigate the path to their buildings. On my check out morning I discovered that there are actually pathway lights!! But they seemed to be programmed to turn on in the morning when it was bright as day instead of at night...

The AC was locked out (late September) even though the days were still low 20s, our room got to 26 degrees and the only way to cool it was to open the windows but it was super windy out during our stay so it was a bit of a nuisance.

The beds were way too soft, anyone with a bad back will wake up with well...a bad back...

Overall we loved our stay despite the negatives which we feel can be easily rectified.

Beautiful property in a very quiet and serene setting. You need to check in at little store which is located in the building where the restaurant in. The walk to the rooms is not far. The room was just like the pictures with lots of storage and a nice big bathroom. The patio was very nice to have, I wish there was a gate to get to the path from the patio but the walk around the building is not far. We really enjoyed the fire pit area and walking around the nearby surroundings.

A top notch location, including stunning views and a great golf course. The fire pits, that were just outside our room, lit up the night and were my favorite feature. Our room was furnished with tasteful contemporary decor and the beds were very comfortable. The large bathroom had a separate shower, separate toilet and separate tub. All was immaculately clean. I can highly recommend this property.

A beautiful property but poor service. No one answers the phone and when we went in person to ask for more coffee, cream and sugar, the staff member went to a cupboard and laid things on the floor as he took them out and then just handed them to us. Also, the robes were worn out and ratty - i would not have a robe like that in my closet! The property itself was nicely cared for - the fire garden was lovely. The grounds beautiful. The restaurant very nice - food ok fare for a golf course.

The check in desk is in the pro shop and one fellow has like three jobs so he’s pretty stretched! The chef in the restaurant served excellent meals. Service in the restaurant was also excellent.

Overall modern place with nice views. We stayed for three nights and they only do housekeeping every three days so we didn’t get housekeeping once throughout our stay. Housekeeping comes around 2-4pm to do the rooms and so we had to ask for extra towels and stuff when they came. You drive through a golf course to get here. There’s a headwaters lodge that you have to go in to check in and there’s staff regularly in there who can address your issues rather than calling and leaving a message to idk who. No room service as no menu noted. No frills grocery store nearby. Wasp season is brutal. The worst part of our stay was capturing and releasing a wasp EVERYDAY in our stay from our room. I’m sure I screamed everyday from the scare of a wasp who somehow got in our room. We cleaned up SIX spiders. They use Rocky Mountain soap company products. They have outdoor blankets and robes. The pillows are soft and flatten into a pancake so no support. There’s a private outdoor deck to each room which is nice for breakfast with views but again wasps and spiders. No mosquitoes thankfully. There’s an outdoor fire pit that you can turn on with a push of a button. They have a restaurant but the food looks like pub food. Ten mins to invermere. Overall ok stay. Could have been ten/ten with more housekeeping and less wasps. Spiders happen. You will need a car to get in/out of this place. You can cast your shows on their TV. Can hear kids running next door.

Overall a very nice room, albeit with some shortcomings. No ice in the rooms or nearby… you have to walk ~150 yards one way to the nearby golf clubhouse to ask a staff member for ice. The restaurant is open for breakfast only on weekends; the nearest alternative is about a 10 minute drive away. The room HVAC provided insufficient cooling (unit was on all night, set to 18°C, and the actual room temperature remained at 21.5°. All this, while the outside temperature was below 18°. Only other option to lower the temperature would be to open the sliding patio door, but that would be a safety concern as room was on ground level. The internet was far too slow. The TV cable package was extremely minimal (could not watch the CFL or MLB games in room). On the positive side, the room was spacious; the sheets, pillows and towels were all excellent. The views of the valley and area around the hotel are quite beautiful.

Just such a peaceful, relaxing place. Beautifully done and almost perfect. Only issues though threaten the overall experience (and have been mentioned in other reviews):
1) having to walk all the way across the property to the clubhouse to check in, get ice, etc is a pain.
2) THE BUGS. The unit doors are all exterior doors with an entry light. But at night the mosquitos and other bugs swarm those lights of course and if you open your unit door they swarm right on inside.

Honestly if the property would just enclose the area where the unit doors are and stick an ice machine in an accessible area the place would be perfect. As it is it’s already pretty close.

Some amenities like drink glasses, ice were hard to access because there was no front desk service from roughly 8 pm onwards. Our room didn't get serviced after the first night but we were able to track down house keeping staff to get towels and clean wine glasses.

Overall we truly loved the modern, clean accommodations and would definitely return. The fire pits outside are exceptional. Thank you

Girl at the front desk was fantastic as was the whole staff. Room was a little smaller than expected based on what I saw on the web site. The only thing that set us back a little was that we went up to the roof top lounge for a early morning coffee on the wonderful deck but it was being used for Yoga lessons by outside group. Other than that, we ate at the restraunt for supper, had a quick breakfast and off we went. I will go back there again and highly recommend it to others. Its different from the alteratives.
